Have been a few times and went with family for my birthday. Absolutely loved the southern chicken burger with creamy slaw and maple bacon. Pizzas were great and catered to different tastes, vego and keto. Owner Rachael was delightful and the added touch of a candle in my brownie 'cake' topped the night off.

The service and atmosphere were great, Alot of people but staff had it under control. I sat in and had the big fried breakfast, I was a little bit disappointed with it , I had to order the bacon as a extra as it didn't come with the meal,

A great place for a home style meal. Our food came fast and it was really good. The salt and pepper squid was a real hit. Perfectly cooked. Crispy deliciousness. Excellent service with a smile. This local find has become my new favourite.

Had a delicious brunch here today. Best chilli scrambled eggs ever! Prices are very reasonable and the service was great. Liked the booth option, big tables and open padded seats in this relaxed, casual cafe.

Have been twice since The Blue Dog changed hands. The venue is a lot quieter now, with acoustic panelling on the ceiling that greatly reduces the echo, making it much easier to have a conversation inside.

Dec 2023 Update Visited again, and ordered the same thing. I don't want to exaggerate, but I feel that these are the best chilli scrambled eggs available on the planet.

Such a great find! Exceptional value for money, super tasty food and great atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly a relaxed and we will definitely be back!

Went to the Blue Dog once and it was so appalling I swore I would never go again. All that has changed with the new management/owner.
