Went here for a colour correction, asked for a brunette rose gold, left with black and purple hair. Consultation went fine and some how went south very quickly. Came in with dark roots and bleach blonde hair. Brought pictures and am still confused how it ended up vibrant purple. Also had my remi extension dyed to match hoped they would help in balancing the hair , asked for more dark and highlighted purple to break up the colour, came back to half black and purple extensions. Very disappointed and just kept telling myself maybe it would look fine in the end. It did not. This was also for my wedding. Thoroughly displeased. She bleached my roots which I was confused about since we discussed it wasn't necessary during the consultation. Then advised it didn't bleach enough for rose gold to which I advised the roots are suppose to be a dark blonde/ light brown anyways. Proceed to dye my hair medium bright purple. I was displease, asked here to fix it by drag the root down to cover some purple. Extremely displeased. Ended up dying my hair the night before my wedding in a hotel room myself along withy extensions and achieved the colour myself.

I had my hair coloured here once. I chose this salon because it was close to me and they had the hair dye product I researched. I am not the usual rich snooty Yorkville customer. My colorist was nice and did a really good job. The problem with this salon is that 1. The owner is very unfriendly (like when you come in or pay). 2. They are not transparent in their prices. I was told of an extra charge when I was already paying, not when it was applied to my hair without asking me. 3. I actually wanted to book another appointment to color my hair (where i would ask for any extra charges to be communicated to me in the moment). I sent an Instagram message and left a voicemail, it's been three days and no response. Every other salon i called answered their phone or called me within a day. No clue how this place makes money. I guess just walk ins from rich bored housewives. Too bad.

I only trust BLYSS salon with my hair. I have been going here for 3 years now and so happy I found this beautiful gem hair salon right in the heart of Yorkville. The staff and so warm and friendly. I see Sandra for my hair cut once every few months. I have long hair and Sandra always makes me feel confident that we will keep it healthy and at the same time keep the length. I love the Daviness product they use too. I always feel my best when I am leaving this salon.

Blyss is amazing! The staff is so nice and do such stunning work! The salon is beautiful and immaculate! Every time I get my hair cut there it looks and feels healthy. The cut is always soft, flattering and my hair seems to move and fall perfectly. The highlights are so stunning strangers ask me where I got them done because they look so natural. Just like the sun did them. I have never been happier with my hair. Blyss is the best salon I have ever been to.

Lesley has cut my hair for what feels like a decade now and she always does such an amazing job. I always trust her professional judgment when it comes to my hair. Each time I go I am always so pleased with her work, even if it's just a bang trim. Lesley is so lovely and I will always go to her for my haircuts, always. The staff is fantastic as well! Thank you for always giving me an amazing style!

Really wonderful salon. It's such a pleasant and revitalizing experience to go into Blyss for a cut and colour. Always excellent consultations with Angie for cut/style and Annabelle for colour, and always excellent results. I'm so glad I went in today after a long break from getting my hair done during the pandemic -- a huge pick-me-up and my hair looks alive again! :)

I will never go back here. I paid $300 for highlights and cut. I asked for subtle blonde highlights and left looking like Rogue from xmen (if you don't know the reference, they're not subtle). I called back to tell them I wasn't happy with it and was told someone would call me right back to make an appointment - that was 2 months ago. Extremely disappointed.

I love Blyss. When I first started going there my hair was a little over processed and weak. Blyss took great care of me and I am happy to report my hair looks and feels amazing. My color is perfect. It's vibrant and glossy instead of dull and dry. The staff of Blyss are so friendly and talented. The vibe in the salon is amazing. I would highly recommend.

This salon is the best in the city IMO. They hit all the bases, quality, courtesy, comfort. Annabell is a fantastic colorist (been going for 20 years plus). And Allison is, without question, the best haircutter I’ve ever been to - and that includes the outrageously priced, outrageously arrogant salons in New York and LA.

While it’s the amazing work of master stylist Alyson that keeps me coming back regularly, it’s the ambiance and environment created by the entire Blyss team that makes a visit more than just an errand, but an experience. I’ve been loyal for over 5 years and couldn’t recommend them any more highly.

I would recommend Becca as your stylist. I went to her for the first time this week and am extremely pleased with the my hair. I would say it is one of the best colourings I have had over the years. The next time I am in Toronto I will definitely book an appointment with Becca.

Love Amanda’s creativity. She is amazing and all the colour placement she does is always perfect. Super friendly, professional and always love my colour. Alyson is lovely. She listens to what you want and also identifies what you need to determine the best cut for you!

This really is the best salon. Period. Angie is an expert stylist. She really is a whiz at understanding hair and style. And Annabel is the best colourist I have ever had. I will never ever go to anyone else for highlights. And they’re also incredibly lovely people.
