From the platform side, Bonbeach station has a clean, contemporary architectural space that replaced the dilapidated grey brick 1970s buildings (the original sheds were from 1926). Externally however, it has an oppressive façade with prison-like life (guard) towers, 3m high concrete & steel barriers, and ugly overhead gantries along the length of the trenched rail. Arguably the worst of the Dan Andrews Level Crossing Removal sites -- the NoSkyRail gang got what they wished for, now they have to live with it probably until next century.

This is an old and forgotten station. No toilets etc. What makes it worse, is the boom gates can be down for 15 minutes at a time with no trains passing through due to how the signals are laid out along this track. I am just glad this station is going through its own huge makeover hopefully this year.

This is where train stations go when they are near death. No public toilets, old brick building that needs replacement. There is a vending machine on the side heading to the city which is good however.

It is a cool station, with very close waterfront views and the design from the outside looks sustainable. Unfortunately it has been let down by its lack of facilities

Modern and elegant, the station has it all, ocean breeze close to shops and Frankston. Beautiful bluestone paving throughout, they really nailed this one.

Toilets locked, no station staff. Its a travesty that tax payer facilities, such as the toilet are locked.Bring back staffed stations.

Gets me to and from the beach efficiently with a train every ten minutes at the times I use it.

Its an unmanned station with no toilet but is close to the beach.
