This Park is located in Bellbowrie and surrounded by nature, making it a peaceful destination for a play and a picnic with your Brisbane Kids. It also features a popular off-leash dog area so you don’t need to leave your furry kids at home. Booker Place Park has a sandpit, flying fox, swings and lots of forts with slides, ladders, cargo nets in a natural setting. It’s the ideal rest stop for some free fun activity for your Brisbane Kid. Your kids will love the old school wooden playground inviting them in with climbing walls and nets and allowing them to exit with a fun tunnel slide. Paths make for easy manoeuvring around the park for strollers and wheelchairs. Other amenities include toilets, a water fountain, two picnic shelters with tables and a barbeque. Designated skate areas, a rebound wall and a basketball half-court are there for bigger Brisbane Kids. There is a separate fenced dog off-leash area behind. Booker Place Park is also one of the council’s Brisbane parks that are wifi hotspots. Definitely bring the bikes to extend the play and make the most of this leafy natural space for some time with your kids.

Really lovely park on it's own. My rating is so low because of the snobbery and strange, childish cliques at the dog park that appear from 4-6pm. I've lived in Moggill for over a decade, and had a dog for nearly seven years and I've never felt so unwelcome at the dog park at peak hour. I've tried to carry conversations with other dog-parents and have had people stop mid-conversation and walk off. O_o A couple who walk their purebred dogs here will not engage with you unless you look suitably well-off or have a dog that cost you less than a grand. They make less than friendly remarks about other people's dogs and won't let their dogs play. Which is the point of bringing you dog to a dog park! I've never had any issues at this park outside of "peak hour" here or any other park I've taken my dog to. These people make the park feel very unwelcoming and I've felt I've had to leave early on multiple occasions due to the weird passive-aggressive atmosphere. There are some really lovely people here, but if you come after 4pm, try not to look poor, or you might upset the resident bourgeoisie.

Great park for smaller children. Not a lot to do for children over the age of 8. Good bike paths and water sprinklers (when the water tank is full). There are a few BBQs and tables. Two shaded qazibos for private parties, but are hard to get when busy. There is often litter and the bathrooms are often dirty. There is a very busy dog park next door, that can often add to parking congestion during the afternoons. Water bubblers available. Guide hut on the side is available for hire.

Really nice, shaded, large riverside park. Has a lot of seating and the playground is massive so would be perfect for kids parties. There is a lot of shade which makes it more comfortable on hot days. There’s exercise equipment and a smaller playground a as well. It says no dogs but there is a fenced dog park to the right. There’s also ample parking and toilet facilities.

Whether you are taking the kids out or giving the dogs a run, this a great place. There is a great playground for kids (and kids at heart), with great variety, and the fenced dog park is big enough for even the most active dogs, and includes some dog agility training equipment.

Great park with free WiFi. Also has a dog off leash area near the playground. The playground has a fort, swings, a flying fox and even a water play area. There is also a fitness area up near the road with workouts to try written on each piece of equipment.

Great park for all ages of children. The children's play area had lots of climbing equipment, slides, swings and was mostly shaded. BBQ facilities nearby to the park and great for picnics. A fenced dog park nearby too alongside toilet facilities.

This park is amazing lots of parks, plenty of room to setup for the day or afternoon ect absolutely massive doggy park for the furry ones to run wild, toilets only down side is the mosquitoes but that's due to been so close to the river

  • Stacey White

Fantastic facilities for parents and children from very young and up. Plenty of shade, seating, toilets, parking, water play, sandpit, flying fox, 3 different slides and built environments to suit different ages. Amazing

  • Mathew Kingston

Shady and clean plenty of room, great for kids party, electric bbq available. Part of the play area involves some water sprayers, if your younglings finds this area be prepared with a change of outfit …

  • Ash Elford

Heaps of shade, tables, and a bbq. The wooden fort style playground suits a variety of ages. There is an interactive water play area. Being next the the river, the park also gets a lively breeze.

30 minutes from my house, but worth the drive. My kids love it and I love it. I sit in the shade to read while they play. They especially love the water play area. I love the beautiful views.

  • Fiona Allan

Great park for the kids, with picnic tables, large wooden playground, lots of paths to ride bikes on, a flying fox, swings and a small water play area. Nice, leafy location, beside the river.

  • Daniel Bazley

Great park with lots of fun for the kids! When the weather is right there is even water play options! Great for a BBQ catch up with a few families while the kids run riot.

Great outdoor and playground area. Lots of space to run around and different obstacles for kids to be entertained for a few hours. Picnic tables also available.

Great little park. We had our daughters party here. It was lovely and secluded while still having play equipment. The kids had a great time.

Best dog park in the area! It's spacious, breezy (riverside), and dog-owners always have such welcoming, helpful attitude. Keep it great!

  • Mac Isherwood

Well maintained park. Good facilities and a great playground area for kids. Also has a fenced off dog park for the dogs to run around in.

It is a great place. I am taking one star off only because there is sewage smell coming from somewhere close by towards the flying fox

Nice Park located at a breezy position close to the water of the Brisbane river. Lots of opportunities for kids to climb.

Great playground for kids, lots of tables to sit at. Could be a bit more even and spread out though? Lots of fun however.
