Nicely located around the corner from the Melbourne university and Royal Melbourne hospital in a quiet street, is a nice clean cafe with generous servings of good food. Missed the 'books' part of the books n bites cafe, but enjoyed the outdoor seating on one of Melbourne's rare sunny days.

The staff are always friendly, the food is cooked perfectly, the tables are clean. I couldn't ask for more. I get the bacon and eggs for $11.90. That's a very reasonable price. I love going here before morning classes. I'd definitely recommend here.

Great coffee and collection of diverse vegetarian sandwiches- unfortunately I was disappointed that there were no books in the entire cafe! BYO books, but named books n bites? Get it together guys. Not even a small book nook in the corner …

Great staff, really nice food at reasonable prices, much preferred to the cookie cutter eateries in the area. I try to eat there as much as possible when working in the area. Support locally owned small businesses!

Great food, lovely, friendly staff. They even recommended suitable food for my young child, who happily ate everything and said the food was "delicious"

Came for a coffee and a quick bite of food and was very pleased. The coffee was nice and strong, yet had a smooth finish. Expansive range of sweets and savouries.

I love the muffins very much, they are nicer than those I bought in other cafés.
