AVOID AT ALL COSTS: I've quite literally never reviewed a business, but this was such an incredibly awful experience I had to. The owner tried to explicitly direct the language I should use when posting a bad review because it was obviously not their fault and impatient people like me are the issue... My awful story: I test drove a car on Saturday morning, the car was fine but had an issue noise. I was told they would have a mechanic check it out and get back to me by the end of the day. Saturday - No response Sunday - No response Monday- No response Sent a text Monday afternoon - no response Called Monday night, receptionist had no idea what I was talking about and asked to call me back. No call back Tuesday - sent another text looking for an update Tuesday night I receive a text from the owner saying "haven't had a chance to take it to the shop" Text back asking for any estimation of time, or if he would be reaching out when he receives an answer. Guess what.... no response Wednesday night at the end of the day, as I did not receive any substantial information showing they even slightly care about my business, I texted expressing my frustration and letting them know I'll be adding to their already awful reviews. Funny enough, I received a speedy response from the owner telling me I should complain about the mechanic not them. Then he proceeds to insult me just like he does to the rest of the bad but clearly valid reviews. The owner loves to attribute dismal customer service with an individuals hate for small business owners. I guarantee he will respond here calling me impatient and say something like "people like me make it hard for a small family owned business to be successful" His final message to me, "You must be a millennial" I hope this review will at the very least help one person make the important decision to avoid this business at all costs.
I'm going to start off by saying that they had so many beautiful cars on the lot that I would love to have and I understand that the main salesman probably is a very busy man. He was trying to juggle five things at once. But when we take time out of our work day to come look at a $12,000 vehicle, I expect it to be taken a little seriously. When we arrived, we heard two other male employees asking where the main salesman and the range rover that we came to look at were. Then we heard them talking about how it was up at the shop getting worked on for a cooling issue. Just minutes later the salesman arrived with the vehicle so we thought that it was awesome that they had done the necessary repairs. We go for a test drive and the car is beautiful. But the heat didn't work, many buttons didn't work. The screen didn't work. I am okay with some buttons not working. Then I look in the back and one of the interior lights is literally hanging off by it's electrical wire which made me laugh. Then we noticed the temperature gauge started rising. Before we knew it, the car was nearly in the red and we were 3 miles away. When we finally got back, the car was smoking. When we brought the cooling issue to the salesman attention, he shrugged it off and said that it was at the shop getting the thermostat fixed but if I understand correctly, he took the vehicle from the shop and brought it to us for us to test drive and possibly purchase, knowing that the thermostat had not yet been replaced. It was a scary situation and I really don't like when my time is wasted, especially for a $12,000 vehicle. I hope that in the future, they can make sure their vehicles are running as great as they look.
I went to take a look at one of their trucks that was listed as a mechanics special because it was running rough, but was still drivable. I make the 45 minute drive to see the truck, and the first thing wrong is that it looks nothing like the pictures. The truck looks like it hasn’t been washed in months, everything in the engine bay is covered pine needles and debris, and the driver side seat is just covered in grease and dirt. Not to mention the steering column is partially taken apart, there’s sensor wires hanging all over the engine not plugged into anything, and the kicker, it’s not starting. After jumping it and getting it going, it has 9 codes on it, and before I can even take it for a test drive, the guy tells me he’s not taking any offers below what he’s asking, which was roughly $1000 below bluebook value on it. The add they posted with pictures of a pristine truck was deceitful and underhanded, and the owner is clearly insane having me drive out to see a “mechanics special” with no negotiating telling me that after I get there. Will not be returning to this dealership ever again.
Not a very good dealership experience. Gpt preapproved for a car because I live 2 hrs away and I liked a car they had. In my way down to look at the car they told me the radio they had in it was broke and they would credit me 500 for a new one. Well long story short the sketchy guy ripped the radio and amp it had in out and didnt even put the plastics back fully, then they didnt even give me credit the guy tried to sell me what he pulled out of thr car i was trying to purchase! Whem I got there they tried to rush through paper work before even showing me the car. But I did end up buying the car because it was something that I liked. Well when I got home and put it on my car lift at my job, I noticed the muffler held on by hose clamps, and my tires baldalmost showing wires... Stuff I couldn't see the night before because it was dark and I didn't think to look. Since I live 2 hrs away, they were suppose to send me my license plates, we'll 2 months later and still haven't gotten them or heard from them.. not a very good place to purchase a vehicle, very sketchy business going on there.
Went to look at a 2008 Mazda 3 that was advertised as having 100,000 miles, with the ad having been posted less than 48 hours prior. When I arrived and the salesman let me look in the car, I observed the actual mileage to be over 105,000. This is a transcript of the following conversation I had with the salesperson: ME: Why did the ad say 100,000 miles? This has 105,000. SALES: Ah, you know, you take it out... ME: You put five thousand miles on the car since the ad was put up?? SALES: No, no, you know, we just put it up there, *incoherent mumbling*... ME: Don't you have somebody who runs the website properly? SALES: No, we've got a guy who's pretty good...*more incoherent sounds*...look, you're gonna quibble over five thousand miles? ME: Yeah I'm gonna quibble! That's like an entire oil change worth of miles! SALES: Well then maybe this isn't the car for you. ME: Yeah, I think maybe you're right. End conversation. So not only are they terrible at selling cars, they aren't even good at being dishonest. Amazed that this place is still in business.
I don't usually do this but I felt compelled to share my experience dealing with Braidia auto sales. They are incredible. Never before have I been better taken care of by an automotive sales team as I have with these guys. Truly amazing. I came here to Portland from Reno NV. To buy a car from these guys and a hundred miles into my trip home the car I just bought just shut down, completely, leaving my self and my fiance stuck on the side of the highway. After calling my insurance company and getting denied roadside assistance coverage because my policy apparently only covered if in an accident and not anything to do with mechanical malfunction, I then called Braidia Auto sales and they immediately dispatched one of their top Field associates to our location with a truck and trailer to pick up me my fiance and my car. They immediately went to work on the necessary repairs to get me back on the road. Thanks Ian. I'd recommend to Everyone if your looking to buy a car, where ever your from, Braidia Auto sales will take care of you. Honestly.
Customer service was good; they met me on the day they were closed and had paperwork ready ahead of time. However, they either do ZERO inspection of their vehicles, or Stevie Wonder is their mechanic. I bought a 2007 Jeep Wrangler and recognized that the tires had fair wear, but figured I was going to put big fat ones one when I lifted it. I also noticed the e-brake didn’t work, but could deal. However, I did not know that the clutch was worn down as bad as it was and that I’d be putting in a whole new clutch kit a month later. I also did not know that the spark plugs in it were not to spec (too small and caused terrible gas mileage) both axle seals were done in the rear, the front driver brake was leaking, all four brakes had about 20% surface left on calipers and to boot, the roof leaked (far more than what’s expected out of a common Wrangler).
I went in there Feb. 9th 2017, because we seen a ford Escape on the web, the picture on the web was a decent looking used car, we drove 2 hours to get there,. We took a test drive and noticed some rattling sounds, when we took it back and told them about it, they already knew about it, said it needed a bushing that they may or may NOT be able to fix. there were several other issues that were noticed, MOLD on the floor that he wanted to pass off as dirt, I had cash to put down, and when I told him that I would like the price to come down because I was immediately gonna have to have upholstery repairs done, they told me that they would let me keep my cash but finance the same price, "How does that help me" ??? they were very deceptive and shifty, They will push cars at you, but there were zip tie fixes. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!!
This is the 2nd car I've purchased from this dealership. If I could afford it, I'd buy a car each week from here. The phrase, don't ever buy from a used car sales person, doesn't fit here. I wasn't SOLD anything at all. I did PURCHASE, my car here. Given the choice of many cars on the lot, I chose this one. Now, at work folks who have seen the car are wondering how they can get into something as nice as I have. The confidence I feel is partly because, EVERYTHING, was done to help me feel happy about my purchase. Little things that you would expect from the BIG LOTS who advertise everyday can't beat the personal relationship you feel by shopping here. Price, selection, and attention to the individual are reasons you should purchase here.
This place is a joke! They got me to drive over an hour from Salem to portland to look at a car, but when I got here the car was literally being held together with tape.. The windshield was broken, the front grill was broke in half, the wires for both side mirrors and rearview mirror were hanging out, the exhaust was cut, NONE of this was mentioned in ANY of our conversations... The list goes on and on! Then when I expressed my dislike of the first vehicle, they directed me towards another one that had exposed wires everywhere, and smelled like a porta potty and was torn up all over inside.... Keep in mind they wanted no less than $5000 for the first p.o.s. and $3000 for the second... I left with my 3 kids promptly and won't return!
Ad was very misleading. Car should have been listed as a mechanic special with the amount of missing ( multiple bolts on the front end, both headlights were just sitting in place, missing prop for hood) and broken parts. I voiced my concerns and was told it was a” 17 year old car.” They either don’t care or just don’t have an actual mechanic that views their inventory. I notified him the Car was moldy and got another response about the cars age. Which anyone would know mold grows because of moisture getting in. Also, they have a 1970 VW with no mold inside of it .....so you get the idea. I strongly recommend taking a trusted mechanic if you want to look at anything they have and if you don’t want to get taken advantage of.
Wasn’t impressed. I had called and made an appointment to see a car. I was running a little late and even texted to let them know. When I arrived there was absolutely no parking and had to find somewhere down the road. They acted like they didn’t know I was coming even though I had made an “appointment”. The car I came to see was in the back of 3 rows completely blocked in. The battery was dead and after jumping it we realized the touch screen dash didn’t work at all and the volume knob just spun circles, which was not in the listing. They said they knew about it but hadn’t addressed it yet. Along with large scratches on the side of the car. The car was definitely not in the shape I had expected after reading the listing.
They tried very hard to get me in the car I wanted but it was marked 3500 over aftermarket value guy named jimmy is nice until he doesn't get your money then he could care less about you, called to ask to get an inquiry cancelled and the second after I told him I got another car he hung up on me I couldn't even finish my sentence, then I had to call back and someone else answerd and he was nice and actually cared I got another car. When you work at a dealership care about your costumers not just there money there where clear problems with the car and seemed to be a hassle to get it down even 1000 with me puting 2k down on it they do not care if they screw you all they want is your wallet
Don't waste you money here! I bought a 2004 Toyota Sequia SR5 with 160,000 miles on it here. I asked if there were any problems with the vehicle and the response was no. The battery won't stay charged because there is a short somewhere. The transmission when put under a load (going up a slight hill) kicks in between overdrive and the gear before very violently. The cost to fix this is $6,000, I paid $10,000 for the vehicle. Now I'm stuck, can't drive it and can't afford to fix it at this time. Once you say ok it's like a race for you to sign papers regardless if your on the phone to get your insurance set up. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!
Went to go look at a VW Beetle and the car was nothing like pictures/described in online ad. I called to ask if it had any problems and they only replied with "it's missing a seatbelt buckle on the passenger side." didn't seem to bad for me, easy fix. When I saw it in person it was missing the wiper motor switch, the tachometer didn't work at all, and the stereo was completely ripped out. They tried to play it off like the person on the phone was new. Be that as it may, they should still know what they're selling and not lie in ads for the car by saying everything works and misleading pictures. Don't trust them, don't buy from them.
Despite the negative reviews i wanted to give this place a chance. They had a Class A motorhome listed on their website and on Facebook marketplace that i was interested in lookong at. I know i should have called first but i decided to just show up when they opened on Saturday. Online they have Saturday hours listed from 10am to something so my husband and i made the drive from Albany to check out the RV. So...... No one was there when we got there and they didnt have the RV on the lot..... So theres that. I guess thats just the chance you have to take if you are interested in one of the vehicles they have posted online.
Update- 2 weeks after purchase the car started hemorrhaging hydraulic fluid and having issues with the auto body control system. I made my second payment on the vehicle 2 days ago, and today the transmission has gone out. I’m now several thousands in the hole on a car that needs repairs that outweigh the value, and lasted 2 months. I bought a Mercedes SL500, Nikki was super kind during the buying process. While replacing a dead battery the mechanic even worked to restore the headlights before I left so they would work better and be safer for me.
Great customer service! I don’t usually post reviews online but I wanted to leave one here because of how helpful and friendly the staff are here! I had an issue with a car I bought and the owner fixed the issue for me and worked with me on timing, updates, etc. He was also very friendly, understanding, and reliable. I’m really happy with the car I bought there and even happier with the service that was provided! Thank you for everything!
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! I got scammed so hard. My partner and I bought a sprinter from here that was said to be in great shape, come to find out it needs $10,000 worth of work done to get it into a safe condition. AND when we got it they said they fixed the glow plugs (the reason the check engine light was on at the dealership) but a week later the check engine light was on for the glow plugs... Not trustworthy
Don't seem to know how to keep the alarms from going off in their cars Edit. Looking it’s really shady that they’re being defensive on public google maps reviews. Says a lot about their customer service without even needing to pull into their (nonexistent) lot. Cars still spill onto the sidewalk and alarms still go off at every hour of the night and morning. They’re hated in the neighborhood for a reason.
I purchased a 2012 Acura RDX turbo from here and they were very transparent to deal with, I traded my car in for top dollar. Nikki and Maui were wonderful to deal with. As with buying any used vehicle use your common sense and have it inspected! Usually you get what you pay for, with that said I think this is a great place to buy a vehicle from.
I recently bought a car from Bradia Motors, Maui was great to work with! He stayed late so I could purchase my vehicle and the whole process was smooth. If you’re looking for a place without pushy salesman, and high quality vehicles I highly recommend Braida Auto Sales! I have had my car for a week now and I couldn’t be happier!
Sold my husband a truck that has so many issues that they didn't tell us about. They try and help us fix it and most of the time refuse to answe our calls. They are the worst dealership I have ever seen. I would not recommend anyone going there. I can't believe they can business like that and get away with it.
I inquired about a car and submitted my information. Chose to buy somewhere else without visiting this dealer. Two weeks later I recieved my the credit report Braidia ran and my credit score at taken a 70+ hit! I would read the other reviews and take them seriously. I am very pissed off.
Great experience with this dealer and very happy with my new car. Most of my transaction was done through the email as I live in the different state, so communication was very important. Spent less than a half an hour at the dealership, just to drop off the check and pick up the keys
Very helpful in getting a loan on a new used car for my daily be use as well as fun top down trips around this beautiful state ..Never enough good things we can say Ty was most helpful in full filing our needs and went out of her way to make sure we were happy with our purchase .
Great experience! I’ve now purchased 3 cars from Braidia and every time it’s been quick and easy. I’ve had my newest car for over 6 months and love it! No hassle, no pressure, and all cars are priced great. Alonzo goes above and beyond. Such a nice guy. I’d definitely recommend!!
Terrible costumer service and description of trailer condition online I was interested in, was false. I addressed the situation to a salesman and he proceeded to freak out and swear at me. I don't recommend this dealer but I hope anyone who goes here has a better experience.
From the jump the lot was very nice, clean and staff was polite a lot of choices for all types of cars and trucks my wife and I are looking for a new cargo van and they had one in our price range and helped us right away all they're inventory is in good shape …
Had a good price on the truck we looked at, they were easy to work with and gave a decent price for the trade in value on my car. We were able to get the payments were we wanted without really any hassle. Good people and crew, would look here again.
Just bought a 2013 Subaru Outback and Ty and Nikki were great and easy to work with. Great listing price & upfront with fees. Update: serious safety risk two days into owning it, maybe 100 miles into it; trying to figure out resolution with Ian.
I bought my first car from a lot here. It was very straightforward process. I picked the vehicle from their website I liked. I called and asked questions about its health and history. Set up an appointment. That day I did all the paperwork
These guys are the worst of the worst. I stupidly bought from them a couple of years ago. Well what do you know, shortly after buying the car all of the dash lights come on. And non-surprisingly the cat converter was bad, plus a bunch of
Super friendly staff. Above par. Didn't get into a car from them, but that was my fault. The best car sales experience I ever had, and once again... I didn't get into a car. Thanks a million. Definitely recommending these guys
I had a great expierence getting a loan and purchasing a car here. Helpful staff, decent inventory. Just a positive experience, if you buy a used car though. Do not expect it to be perfect in every way.
Hands-down the best auto sales place I’ve ever been to they try to work with you the best they possibly can and we were able to drive off in the car that I wanted! Ty was so awesome! I just loved her!
Ian and his staff are absolutely AMAZING ! Thank you for going above and beyond! I have 3 friends in the market for vehicles and I'm bringing them in! Family owned! Support this local business !
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to purchase a truck for my husband. We had put earnest money down, but Ian refunded our money in a timely and professional manner. Thank you Ian.
Bought an Impreza WRX 2014 with 72K miles for an incredibly reasonable price. Ian is a great guy to work with, and so are his staff! Thanks for the sweet ride, Braidia! —Heather
I bought a Lexus GX 470 from these folks in October 2016. I literally stole my vehicle from them they were very helpful getting me financing, warrantee, and out the door quick!
Great buying experience. After several attempts to buy at different dealers, I finally found the right car at Braidia. Fair price and customer service was excellent.
Uno de los lugares más honestos que he encontrado con buenos carraos y en muy buenas condiciones ,si estás en busca de un carro bueno sin sorpresas este es el lugar
We called ahead, verified they had the car we wanted to see. We ended up with a great deal. They even put a new alternator in the van for us before we left. Thanks!
My significant other just bought his dream car from there on Saturday. Customer service there is excellent and it's family owned. They have great deals too.
Guy who works here treated me like complete garbage. Saying I don't have enough when I asked about the car. Cursed be out called me broke and stupid.
Great customer service! Very kind people and very accommodating. They were very open and honest about damages, car fax, and vehicle history.
We had a great experience here. Fair pricing and very friendly and helpful. We will be coming back next time we are in the market for a car.
Curbstoning cars on FB marketplace advertised as a private seller. Legally questionable and morally reprehensible. I'd avoid these guys.
Thank you for making are daughters first car purchase perfect. Easy going and straight forward. Would definitely recommend to others.
Had a smooth car purchasing experience here with Ian, would definitely recommend! Everyone here is very friendly and efficient.
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience buying a 2004 toyota 4runner from them. Very helpful great customer service.
Got a great deal on a used car. We were stuck and looking for a cheap but reliable ride and they took great care of us.
I had the best experience at this place; Alonzo was great made the whole process easy. I absolutely love my car.
If you are going to get bent over by buying from a used car dealer. You may as well get bent over by this one.
Excellent service and helpful staff that guided instead of pushed for the right vehicle.
Nikki and Ian were so helpful and made every aspect of buying a car painless!!!
Alonzo and Nicky were great. They got me a great deal on my car. -Russell
Bad customer service and not trustworthy would rather buy a car off eBay
The owner is awesome, straightforward no villainy, old school values guy
Very friendly. Quick service and help. Knowledgeable and understanding.
They are very kind and will even replace two tires that are worn out!!
Great selection, reasonably priced cars and great to work with!
Car smoked in and pretty dirty for sale. Won't probably return.
