"The team here a friendly and the food is tasty"

Yesterday I got extremely poor shopping experience. The person who are cashier know if it was because they were westen face or locals, the staff service attitude was good. But when it was our turn, she immediately change her face. She put up a long face, almost like we owe her million . I think she can be an actress and during the whole process she was like a dumb . She never said a word to us from beginning to the end. The basic service attitude was absolutely no, no greeting, no asking if we wanted a receipt, so she just threw it away, and finally she didn't say thank you either. The whole process was keep to put up her long face.Wow~Is this the service attitude of your company? Or is it because we are Asian faces, so we should be treated like this, or do you have a tendency to discriminate against Asian people?
It was my favourite shop but not anymore. I experienced poor customer service this morning. The lady who served me - Luna I think? We did not have any conversation between us, there was no greating or welcoming, she didnt ask if I want a receipt, she even did not say thank you either. I have to wait for her while she was just doing some display in front of the counter which can be done after serving customer since the customers should be the priority esspecially in the morning when everyone is in hurry. I'm working in a customer service related role and she really has no understanding of basic customer service. I tried to understand for her by thinking that she feels under the weather but when I walk in and walk out of the shop, she was chatting loudly with other staffs!
The team here a friendly and the food is tasty. It's definitely a fast food venue and the food is quite heavy on the sugar content. That said, this is a brilliant place for a cheeky snack. It is self service and brilliantly laid out. The food is all behind perspex doors and you collect items with the tongs and trays provided. It would actually be nice if the plastic bags could be replaced with compostable or paper bags, however that's just a small gripe to what is otherwise a brilliantly run operation.
Was there yesterday to buy some matcha bun for lunch today, and to my surprise there's a plastic in one of the buns and I nearly swallowed it because it is so thin and soft. Can't imagine if a kid had been the one eating this bun. I feel really disgusted now.
*Warning* This is the terrible customer service that I have ever had. I am very disappointed and maybe they don’t mind losing one of royalty customers because they still have many. They probably don’t know how poor customer service can
I love bread top, every time I come to Hobart I come here. I try a different cake each time, last time I got the taro sponge and damn, tast-ee! There's just something so light and delicious about Japanese baked goods. Yumm.
We visit here regularly because they have an excellent range of delicious treats that remind my wife and I of the bakeries we used to visit in Japan. We recently bought a birthday cake here and it was a hit with the kids.
Great Asian bakery, cake doughs are lighter and individual cakes are decent size, taste good and cheap around $3-4. Not sure about the value of the "larger" cakes, they cost but they do taste great.
Poor customer service over the phone. Made a genuine enquiry about ice cream as I noticed they had ice cream cakes. Unfortunately the girl hung up me before I finished speaking.
I found insect in bread while i eating Really disgusting . I will not visit your store again. Totally unhygienic . Insect cooked inside bread seriously? …
A great assortment of Chinese bakery goods. The bread is sugary and oily but tasty for a sweets in moderation. I enjoy the coconut and red bean fillings and the small cakes.
Breadtop Hobart has a wonderful team of staff members. They are very helpful and friendly. The lady I spoke to over the phone allowed me to pay via bank transfer (NAB) and
An incredible place! I'm so glad Breadtop came to Tasmania! They always make the most delicious food and their customer service is brilliant! Highly recommend coming here.
My go-to Japanese bakery whenever I’m in town! The cakes are superb for birthdays and aren’t too rich for your palate. Breads are perfect too. Always friendly service.
Super fresh, yummy bakery items. Something for most tastes. Savoury & sweet items. My favourites are the crunchy cold garlic bread & the glazed Donut twist …
Great selection of food to choose from and tasty to eat. I went in on a Friday afternoon and the staff serving me was very polite, courteous and helpful.
The saleslady was extremely kind and helpful. Good selection of products! Highly recommended :)

Will never back again . Good bread but bad service. It’s been so many times the cashier not greeting not even say thank yuu after you paid .
Awesome place glad Hobart got one used to shop here every day when I lived in Qld. I have tried all things these people make. Top job.
Was ok, went there as recommended as place to go for afternoon tea, but there was no where close to go and sit to eat or drink.
Feel very bad, if she got confuse she need to ask with their customer instead of barking.. Customer service is really poor..
One of my favourite place, great service with great quality food and standards. There is always fresh items on the display
Regular visitor to Bread Top. Food is always excellent and the BBQ Pork Puffs are a taste sensation and absolute must!
good bread! but need some new product. you can get a stamp on the card every $12 spend, $5 off when collect 9 stamps.
I ate more than half of the ham&cheese bread. where is cheese and just a tinyyyy piece of ham?Seriously cheating.☹️
Best coconut bread in Tasmania!! Good customer service and thanks so much for recommending coconut bread for me xD
Terrible customer service. The woman at the counter keep drinking her bubble milk tea and ignored my feeling.
The kids and I absolutely love this shop, it's so cool! Everything is so delicious and the staff are awesome
Good choice of items.... Sadly all cold. Be nice to have a few hot options... But most are still very tasty

Cake was great, as it wasn't too sweet but perfect great flavor. Recommendable
Always so busy as it's so good! Good savory AND sweet treats. Restocks often.
Amazing bakery and has various fresh breads, pastries and cake choices.

Most of the staff are unhelpful and unkind
Friendly staff - highly recommended
