The furniture was fine, although not sure it wasn't scratched in transit. The delivery was horrendous, drivers refused to take my item up my stairs and just dumped them in my hallway. They were rude about it as my property is already up steps. I had already checked before purchasing that this would be OK. He claimed health and safety without checking the staircase because he was clearly annoyed that he'd had to bring the items up the steps to my property. He then said he was going to take pictures of my steps as if I'd done something wrong! When having items delivered with other companies they deliver my items and then ask if I want them upstairs as standard. I did complain to the store and they said they would ask the drivers back but I did not want them anywhere near me at that point because I was disgusted. I should have refused to take the items.

Do NOT rely on them taking anything with even 1 scratch!! Booked a 2 piece leather suite to be collected by them (rather than selling this). This has 2 very minimal scratches on but was in otherwise perfect condition. They arrived on the morning our new sofa's were being delivered (not at the time they said, no masks and not distancing whatsoever) looked at the small two scratches and refused to collect. We've now had to pay a waste disposal company an obscene amount of money to collect these today - as we have no room for 4 sofa's over Christmas! Absolute joke. These could have been donated to another charity who would have been appreciative of them, but due to the incompetence of this 'charity' they are ending up in landfill. I turned away three people who wanted these so we could donate to charity, shameful behaviour from them. Avoid.

BHF have good products and very affordable. Unfortunately, all their senior staff attendants in the store are not customer friendly, at BHF they do have very poor customer service relationship. I was suppose to receive delivery of my stuff on Saturday, they cancelled it and rescheduling to a convenient time for me prove difficult. I think they need to consider their customer's timing when arranging delivery. I explained to the attendant that called that I work from Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30, I was trying to negotiate after 5pm for my delivery since their delivery time is between 1pm - 7pm daily during the week. They are not flexible, they are very rigid and they do keep to appointments.

An absolute piss take! When I bought a bookshelf from them and paid for the delivery I expected a nice easy stress-free delivery... well, I certainly didn't get one. On the first scheduled delivery date the driver bailed at the last minute. Re-booked for the following week, they didn't bloody show up and didn't even have the decency to call. Third week, not only do they show 15 minutes before the end of their delivery hours (despite re-bookers getting 'priority') but they didn't even have the book shelf that I paid for! Now I don't know what the hell is going on, but something NEEDS to be bloody sorted out because this level of professionalism is quite frankly disgusting and insulting.

This is what you have on your website: "A delivery service to suit you We are able to offer you a delivery service that meets your needs - either to your doorstep, an alternative safe access point, or to a room(s) of your choice." We asked your delivery guys to bring them to one of the rooms but they refused, you should either revise what you offer on your website or replace your lazy delivery guys.

Absolutely dreadful. We wanted to make a donation of 4 pieces of good condition, sturdy furniture. They were supposed to be collected but refused by the driver on the grounds of being heavy. I had made perfectly clear they were large heavy items on the form and in a subsequent phone call. What a waste of time and effort on my part. My last dealings with BHF sadly.

Brilliant place for buying furniture on a budget, both new and second hand, while supporting a good cause. We bought a corner sofa from here which was second hand but in great condition and got it delivered to us on the opposite side of the city the following day for £25.

Our table was scratched during the delivery. I was disappointed at first but the store manager Chris handled the problem professionally. He offered a solution that left me feeling very happy.

This is the worst British heart foundation in Birmingham don’t go there …. They never take accountability, they’re very careless It’s a bad idea to go to this store

  • Tamarra Collins

The shop floor staff was helpful but I was very impressed with the man at the back who took the legs of the table off for us and helping us load it into the car.

Zero accountability, don't go to this store save your money. They're frauds . The management never take responsibility of faulty items to them it's your loss.
