In February, I came home to find my cat drooling excessively and a large damp stain on the bed spread (it was urine). I also noticed a pack of Goody's headache powders (mixture of acetaminophen, aspirin, and caffeine) on the floor. This combination can be extremely harmful to cats. Concerned, my boyfriend and I took him to Broadway Veterinary Hospital. It was convenient since it was a block a way from our flat. When I got there, the front desk person was rude and seemed annoyed. I finally met with the veterinary, she barely let me explain my concern. She expressed no interest and appeared to want to get us out immediately. It wasn't until I mentioned the acetaminophen portion that her attention perked. They took him to do a blood test in another room where we weren't allowed. We started to hear our cat freaking out - yelling and shrieking, items crashing to the floor, and people yelling "Get her! Get her!" (My cats a boy, a fact we kept having to correct with the vet in our initial meeting. This was the first of many times they referred my cat as a "her" and a clear sign that they weren't listening) We became extremely suspicious of the fact that professional veterinarians and their assistants couldn't handle an 8lb cat. When they came back into the room, we were waiting nervously after hearing the "chase". They asked if they could sedate him because they were still unable to hold him down and take blood (I had a vet in Chicago and Barcelona, Spain administer shots to him without any trouble). At that point we really had no choice but to say ok, still thinking why on earth can't these people handle a little cat? After they did some blood work a new doctor came in and said--and I remember this verbatim, because of how ridiculous it was--that "even though we found no signs of any of these ingredients in 'her' system, we are positive that she got into the powder." (Again, our cat is a male). I said "how's that?" to which they responded with a one of many long, convoluted, indirect answers. Upset, I began crying and they were taking advantage off that. They were trying to really milk this into as much money as they could. But, upset and crying, I felt like I had no choice. They would say, many times, things like "he WILL die soon unless we do X Y and Z", and "oh my god! I've never heard of this stuff but this will kill him quickly unless we do something!" I understood that this could potentially be very serious, but he showed no symptoms and tests were negative, so why go on and on and tell us he's going to die?!? So unprofessional. At some point, we a third doctor took over our case as the second one was leaving (it was like the changing of the guards) and this doctor brought out a text book. ?!?! She used the textbook to look up side effects and symptoms, (also kept calling him "her" after we corrected her many times). She said that our cat would be in the clear if he seems good after 12 hours..then it changed to 24 hours...eventually she ended with a recommended 72 hours. ?!?! They said that we should then take "her" to another affiliated hospital and do more tests and overnight stays, which would cost anywhere between $2000 and $4000. We said well, let's keep him here overnight check on him in the morning. So far, the service totaled to $600 and they promised that we would receive a call the following morning at 7:00AM. We did not. Instead, we ended up calling them at 7:30AM and they informed us he still did not exhibit any symptoms and they STILL wanted to keep him an extra day. At this point, we decided to get our cat back (to which they passively aggressively warned us against). When we picked him up and brought him home, he had DRIED POOP on his leg and on his stomach. My boyfriend stormed back and demanded to know why our cat was smothered in his own feces and why it had not be cleaned. The vet responded, "oh, I'm so sorry. Sometimes this happens..." ?!?! Our cat is fine and we ended up paying $600 for our cat to be covered in his own feces. Bottomline, DO NOT SEND YOUR PET HERE.
*EDIT: I really want to reiterate that the times I had to consult a different provider were frustrating. I reached out to Broadway Vet after the first event I mentioned because I wanted to be able to ask his doctor questions directly. I didn’t feel the need to continue corresponding with other staff if I could help not make a big deal out of it. Her verbatim response was “I’m sorry they didn’t understand my notes about just rechecking the glucose only!”, so I’m not sure what their argument is there. I truly don’t believe I received good care from the vet who was there on my last visit, flat out. And I don't think I was the only one who had an opinion about the doctors behavior either. It’s unfortunate that BV wasn’t as interested in reaching out for feedback when I verbalized to two separate staff members that my visit was super uncomfortable, and ultimately I did not feel like I could return.* Im really bummed to be writing this review, but after my appointment today with Broadway Vet I don’t feel comfortable returning. The support staff/techs are wonderful, Dr. Van Noppen is one of the kindest vets I’ve seen and is super knowledgeable, but she’s at the hospital 2 days a week at most and my experiences with their other Drs have been really negative. My dog has an ongoing GI issue that we haven’t been able to find the exact cause of yet, and I brought him to BVH from Urban Animal because I needed to get him care that was more.. personal. Things had been going really well with Dr. Van Noppen, but I found that if we had to get in on a day she wasn’t available, the information she told me that I relayed to the available Dr was treated like something I googled, and not something I had already discussed with a vet who worked at the hospital and was regularly treating my dog. During my last visit, I was told to bring my dog in for one glucose test on a day our regular Dr happened to not be working. Nothing else needed, just the test. I relayed this to the staff multiple times, told them he did not need any type of exam, and the vet working that day still examined him, called me with a bunch of information that was contradictory to what his regular doctor and I had been discussing, and slapped me with a full exam bill. Today, the doctor working (Dr Bush?) was just so beyond rude. We had to go in due to negative side effects from a new medication my dog was trying- I don’t know this person, I’ve never seen them, and they walked into the exam room with a huge and unnecessary attitude. I was relaying information to them that our regular doctor had told me, verbatim, and they flat out told me what I was saying wasn’t true. I even asked them about a medication I had literally purchased from BVH, and they told me it didn’t exist! I understand that your job as a vet can be emotionally taxing, but it's totally unprofessional to talk down to people who are just trying to advocate for their pet. There just seems to really be a huge communication breakdown between the Drs who work here, and if my dog is trying out a new medication or whatever and needs to be seen sooner than his regular vet has availability, any Dr working there should be able to provide the same level of care, but unfortunately that has not been my experience. My dog is my baby and I’ll put up with a lot for him, but I am just not confident that he is receiving consistently good care at BVH. See Dr. Van Noppen, or consider another vet.
I choose this clinic because I thought being a 24/7 clinic meant specialists were on staff. My cat had a blocked urethra, and he came home after a three night stay bleeding. After a week, we returned. They did unnecessary exploratory surgery. My cat was clearly in ongoing pain, I was told it was my own head. He was peeing blood everywhere. Dr. McWilliams said I was a "bad match" for my cat and offered to keep him for a week. During that week, I assumed he would observe and treat my cat's medical symptoms and stop blaming them on my imagination. He did not. He simply kept him caged, and when I responded with alarm after finding out at the end of that week (I called daily and was assured tests were being run) he reassured me everything could be fixed with a PU surgery. A PU surgery is only appropriate for a cat with repeated blocks -- not one block that a vet screws up. The PU surgery site then became infected. Again, he blew me off -sent the cat home in a restraining cone, no meds, no pain killers saying it wasn't an infection, just irritation from overgrooming. The infection was so severe you could smell it. With the cone on, he couldn't clean off the pus so you could see it, too. At that point we went to Blue Pearl Veterinary who fixed up the surgery site infection, assessed the situation with a diagnostic ultrasound (rather than an exploratory surgery as was performed TWICE at Broadway) and sent us home with the correct antibiotics and pain meds. His behavior changed immediately -- I was not "imagining" his pain. However, due to the PU surgery, my cat now has recurrent UTIs (5 in the past 18 months), and the bacteria is now resistant to most antibiotics. All this because I was too stupid to go to Blue Pearl in the first place. Do not take your cat with bladder or urinary blocks to this place. Please. PS -- Dr. McWilliams made transgender jokes about the PU surgery. That's like saying a man who loses his penis in an accident or from cancer is now a woman. Not scientifically or politically correct. He also said he hoped I would abandon my cat to him to keep as an office cat he could use as a blood donor. PPS -- Get Trupanion Insurance.
I'm extremely disappointed in my most recent visit to this vet. I have been bringing my dog here for the past year. We're on the monthly wellness plan. Last week I noticed that my dog (shih tzu) had extremely red and inflamed front paws and it was apparent he had been licking at them. They also smelled somewhat "yeast-y". I have never seen his paws so red. I made an appointment for this reason (and for vaccines) last week. The check in process was fine and the vet tech that saw my dog was very sweet. The veterinarians at this clinic that my pup has seen in the past were not available and we were stuck with Dr. Kathryn Okawa. She walked into the room immediately went on some weird rampage telling me that shih tzu's are prone to allergic reactions (which I am very aware of - I've had my dog for over 7 years) and immediately tells me I need to put him on a vegetarian diet and (conveniently) recommends her private company to me for natural herbal supplements to help combat my dog's allergies. I let her go on this rampage for about 15 minutes, several of which she's kneeling down beside me (covid is still a thing!) writing down specific items from her website. I asked her if she she even took the time to examine my dog. I dont think she even looked at him because if she did, she would immediately realize this is an acute issue my dog is having - his paws are red as a beet and I cant even touch them without him shuddering. This is not just his allergies. Finally, she sent me home with apoquel which she swore against just 10 minutes before. This lady is all over the place. My dog has an appointment elsewhere this week. I couldnt believe her ignorance and lack of understanding of the actual problem. I will not be renewing my wellness plan with them and I think it's extremely unprofessional and unethical to push your private company on me instead of actually listening to me and treating my dog appropriately. My concerns have never been blatantly ignored the way they were during this visit.
I moved closer to Seattle and was looking for a new vet. Both of my dogs needed annual vaccinations but one was dealing with allergy issues. We took one dog in for an exam to treat the allergies and get vaccines. At the appointment we were told that given the allergies, they did not recommend vaccination until the meds were working. We asked questions and were told the follow up visit would be a technician appointment only with no exam fee. There was a vet and assistant in the room for this conversation. To be clear, the vet staff was great in treating the initial issue and filling subsequent prescriptions and scheduling the next appointment. While booking a second appointment over the phone for both dogs to get vaccinated we verbally verified again that it would be a tech appointment for our one dog. At the appointment they individually took each dog into the back, so there was no way to know what was happening/further verify an exam was not occurring. After the fact they claimed that they had already taken up the doctors time for the exam and as such had to charge a fee. We were charged an exam fee of $80 for the next visit after confirming there would not be one. We inquired about the charge via email and only got a partial refund (now claiming a technician appointment was not possible and follow up was necessary). They also blamed my husband pulling out his phone to send over prior vet records saying for our dog saying he was "distracted" when it was entirely relevant to the dog's care. Eventually they stopped responding. I see other reviews noting the same exact issue regarding exam fees. Unfortunately, I do not see us returning given this was a relatively routine event and they were unwilling to correct their error.
I love this veterinary hospital, they are amazing!! I moved to Seattle in January 2021, right after I found out from my previous vet that my cat Ramona has hyperthyroidism. Broadway Veterinary Hospital was able to see us right after we moved for bloodwork and a check in relieving a lot of stress my wife and I felt after moving, changing jobs and finding out our animal had this disease. Shortly after we noticed some odd behavior from our older senior cat and they were able to fit us in for a last minute appointment to make sure that nothing really serious was going on. Poor Jude had a broken tooth and was in need of some serious dental work. Thankfully they have these amazing Care Companion plans that made things really affordable for us! He has two teeth removed, a deep cleaning, a few check ups, x-rays on his hips and a full years worth of flea medication and we are actually able to afford it even though I currently work part-time. I appreciate that Broadway Veterinary goes above and beyond for their clients, that they check in to see how things are progressing and answer my questions in a timely and friendly manner. I highly recommend them for your pets care, they are truly amazing and I feel really lucky that we found them among all of the vets in the Seattle area. Thank you for all that you do!!
The staff here are very friendly however they had trouble treating my cat. I first took her in for an emergency visit and the vet sent us home with vague instructions and pretty much empty handed. They didn't seem to do a full examination of her and did not diagnose the problem. I took her in again a week later for the same issue and, instead of a vet, we saw two techs who were able to perform the necessary procedure. However, they were not able to answer pretty simple questions about my cat's continued care. After this visit my cat's condition got worse and so I took her back for a third visit. This time I saw the same techs as before but they were unable to help and I again left empty handed with unanswered questions. Luckily I was able to get my cat in to see another vet (at urban animal) and they not only easily diagnosed my cat but we're also able to answer all of my questions. The quality of staff at this location seems to vary and I always left them feeling disappointed in the quality of care. Also the vet seems to prefer homeopathic remedies (recommending rosemary oil over metronidazole for my cat's issues). I would recommend them for simple procedures but nothing more complicated than that.
I moved away from Seattle earlier this year and recently had to take my cat to a new vet. Visiting a new vets office made me realize what a true gem Broadway Veterinary is. My cat Leopold had multiple check-ups and had dental surgery done here. I was boarding my cat here over Thanksgiving and scheduled the surgery while he was boarding so that he could have time to recuperate at the vets office. The staff called me at the beginning of the surgery, in the middle of the surgery, and as soon as he was out of surgery. While he was boarding here I would get almost daily calls updating me on how my cat was doing. When I picked him up I got amazing stories of him lounging with employees and wreaking havoc in the back office. I doubt that I (or my cat) will ever feel as comfortable at another vets office ever again! Thank you so much to Broadway Veterinary for taking care of my cat like he was your own :) Attached is a picture of my cat chewing on the door stop in the vets office (back when he still had teeth)
Broadway Veterinary Hospital is the best veterinarian facility I've ever known, and Greg McWilliams is a simply tremendous vet. Just one story: Two years ago my 17-year-old cat, Niko, had a stroke. I took him in to Broadway Veterinary, painfully sure that I would never be bringing him home again. But Greg (whom I was meeting that day for the first time) said that he thought perhaps Niko could pull through -- and with the excellent care he received from Greg and the BVH staff, he did. He was somewhat slower and more deliberate for the remaining year of his life, but comfortable and happy throughout. That year was an immense gift, one for which I give all the credit to Greg and his crew. At the end of that year, after a second stroke, it seemed that the time had come when I had to let Niko go; and when that time came, it was a great comfort to me that it was Greg who set him, cradled in my arms, free.
I've been taking my two cats here for more than 4 years now and really like the care they provide. I've found them to be reasonable in terms of discussing pros/cons of different recommended treatments and tests, and thorough in working through different health issues that come up with the cats. Recently, one of my cats had a medical emergency and they worked him in seamlessly and compassionately. I haven't had the issues that others have described in terms of late or cancelled appointments or flaky staff. And as the management has completely changed over in the past year or so, I've found the transition to be smooth and am happy with the current state of the practice. I also appreciate a new loyalty program that they've recently implemented that has let me earn credit back from the cats' care and get free exams every year. I've worked with both Dr. Carolyn and Dr. Greg and like them both.
Broadway Veterinary Clinic did an excellent job providing end-of-life care to my little cat, Dixie. I really appreciate how quickly they moved on trying to diagnose her, as well as their honesty in providing a cost-benefit analysis of how far to take her care. They were exceptionally communicative, understanding, caring and kind. Even though I was out of town during her quick heath decline, they spoke with me multiple times a day and included me in everything they did for her. It was really hard being gone while she was going through such a tough time, but I honestly felt very comforted by the fact that they were watching over her and giving her a bunch of love in my absence. I really appreciate everything you guys did for her and can't thank you enough. =)
My cat is on a prescription urinary diet. He has been on it for seven years and will likely be on it the rest of his life. When the service that ships his food called Broadway VH to update his prescription, they declined it and refused to update it until he was brought in for a check-up. Broadway VH has been this cat's only vet since he was adopted from the shelter. He is typically in a couple of times a year for wellness checks and teeth cleaning. It would have been nice if the staff had said, "Oh. Yes. We know this cat. He's a little late for his check-up but we'll go ahead and update the food prescription." But, they went the other way. And while my experience with Dr. Rawlings has been good, this interaction was a very poor one indeed.
Everyone has involvement and attentive care. From check in, detailed outline of the days plans & procedure, the follow up call and making sure he's good afterwards were all small things I really appreciated as his mom. His teeth and nails look amazing. I appreciated Jenna's photos in comparing before and after. After dropping him off I went to an appointment all the way in West Seattle and I had told my aesthetician about Otis' appointment, she asked which vet and I told her you guys and she said "oh I heard they were a great vet clinic!" I responded with "they absolutely are!" So thanks again for such compassionate and thorough preventative care and putting up with his loud barking and anxiety.
This place is amazing, I felt immediately at home it's like walking into a livingroom not a sterile vet environment. My dog Chester is 13 and he immediately senses when he's in a vet. Not this place, the first time we arrived he didn't shake at all. They took amazing care of him (thank you Ryan and staff) and they even have a coffee machine with ceramic mugs! The most amazing thing is that they don't OVERCHARGE and push unnecessary tests. I'm sorry I didn't find it sooner but so happy I did. The first time I came in, I was in a panic over finding doggie day care and they recommended City Dog and even found a coupon for me. Thank you Broadway Vet Hospital!!
We've been taking our two dogs to BVH for a little over two years now. They've seen us through some tough times and were always kind, understanding and patient. Our (now 13-year-old) Westie had TPLO surgery in August 2015, which was done in-house by Dr. McWilliams. Dr. McWilliams and his staff knocked it out of the park and our pup has recovered beautifully. The BVH team is now seeing us through the heartbreaking diagnosis of Westie Lung Disease, and continues to be patient and collaborative while we work through treatment options. I couldn't ask for a better partner as we navigate the tough road ahead. I'd recommend BVH to anyone.
"I went into the appointment extremely disappointed and not fully informed from the last visit. I knew what I wanted, what I needed for Kylie but didn't feel like I was being listened to. That totally changed. I think there have been changes in the people on the front desk and I had a great conversation with Dr. Greg McWilliams about the care of my pets. I've spent about $2,000 on the both of them on various challenges and I have no regrets. They are happier, have better coats, they are putting on weight they needed, my female cat has a healthier mouth and they are both exhibiting behavior of a well loved and cared for pets."
Absolutely in love with this vet! I brought in both of my cats prior for a wellness examination and rabies vaccination, which went smoothly. Unfortunately soon after one of my cats had a reaction to the vaccination which led to other issues and several return visits. All receptionists were extremely quick to answer any questions and able to get him immediately for a drop off each time. The doctors provided tons of information and options for each step. I've never felt so much care or concern for my animals and patience with estimates and cost. My cat is healthy and back to normal and I couldn't be more thankful!
Broadway Veterinary Hospital is absolutely AMAZING! I was having difficulty finding a vet due to the pandemic and Broadway Veterinary Hospital took us very quickly and got her initial visit scheduled. They even scheduled her follow up as well! My cat is flighty and they took very good care of my cat! I was worried going into the appointment that my cat would panic, but she was completely fine when they gave her back to me. They knew exactly how to treat her and I’m very impressed with their caring and very attentive staff. I cannot wait to bring my cat back for future appointments!!
Broadway veterinary hospital has been so helpful and responsive during COVID times. I have been having trouble getting any appointments with my more regular vet, and Broadway always works with my schedule and makes sure my sick pup is seen. They always conduct follow up calls to check in on my pup after a visit as well which is a nice personal touch. I also appreciate they are still allowing owners in with their pets under the correct safety precautions. They have become my go to vet over the past 8 months with their amazing service!
This place is absolutely incredible, the front desk and veterinary assistants are so kind and understanding. My puppy has his vaccines and they just called the next day to check up to see if he was doing ok, which just shows they really care. I have 2 dachshunds who they have shown more care for then any other vet I have taken them too! The prices are reasonable and they have great wellness plans. Both Vets I have met are also very kind and professional, there's nothing better then having a vet you feel like you can trust.
For five years the staff at Broadway Vet have provided kind, caring, informed care to my cat. Both Dr. Rawlings and Dr. Van Noppen are great communicators as well as caring doctors; I have been so impressed by the time and trouble they have taken to respond to my emails and phone calls. As well, the staff have been super helpful at making appointments, providing prescriptions, and gently handling my cat. I feel so fortunate to have this wonderful practice to rely on for my kitty. Thank you to everyone at Broadway Vet.
I can’t remember if I wrote a review when this happened but a friend reminded me that people depend on these reviews to choose a vet for their fur children, so... A couple years ago I brought my cat here for some xrays and after they were completed the vet tech (I forget his name and I really hope he’s not working there anymore) was basically manhandling her while she was still sedated/high on K and HE HIMSELF looked like he was either drunk or high. I was NOT happy with the way he handled her, and I never went back.
They. Are. Fantastic. I have never had such a wonderful experience at an animal hospital. When my St. Bernard was passing away, they did everything possible to save her while the rest of the staff were compassionate and informative. I can not possibly recommend them enough. Not only are they professional and fast acting in an emergency, but very reasonably priced. Later, I received a handwritten note from them in regards to the event. Unbelievable! I'm recommending them to everyone who loves their pet.
Dr. Rawlings and her staff are angels! They took care of my furbaby and made sure I understood all the steps and options available. When it came time for treatment, Dr. Rawlings printed out a cost per service receipt and explained each one before letting me pick which services we wanted. We were treated with kindness and respect and all of their actions were for the benefit of my baby. We will certainly be back for our routine care and all our veterinarian needs. Thank you!
We tried other vets in Seattle before Broadway Veterinary Hospital and never felt satisfied with the service, pricing, cleanliness, and/or staff. We now take our pets to Broadway Vet regularly - with two dogs and two cats the visits have become regular. Ha! All the staff, nurses, and doctors at Broadway Vet are outstanding. They are honest, friendly, and knowledgeable. The service is always great from start to finish and we completely trust them to take care of our pets!
We have had only the best experiences here! My older kitty has several ongoing health concerns and Dr. Rawlings and everyone on the team has been super helpful and very responsive. They answer questions quickly and provide detailed medication options as well as clear, upfront quotes for tests and/or procedures (cat health crises in the time of COVID being even more of a financial stress than usual). The highest standard of care for both pets and their anxious owners!
My husband and I adopted a special-needs dog a couple of years ago and Broadway Vet has been so good with her. They are very responsive both by email and telephone and Dr. Rawlings goes the extra mile to research issues that might come up. We like the companion care plan because it means we can bring her in for an upset tummy (she likes to eat things she shouldn't) without worrying about the cost. The staff is very friendly and the waiting room is cozy.
My cat is a regular patient here and seems to enjoy being here? He likes to get out of his backpack and walk around the exam room. I can tell he gets a lot of attention from everyone! Although my dogs are not regular patients here, since they are open on Saturdays I was able to take my dog in for urgent care when he was having pain from his luxating patella. I trust the vets, and I think my cat (and dog do too). I am so glad I was able to find them!
I love this place. Lobby cat Frank is always great to see, the staff obviously truly loves cats - I brought my kitty in on hallowen and the vet was dressed as a cat, it was fantastic. They're always happy to give me advice over the phone and it's easy to get appointments, services have always been quick. My other kitty got a tooth pulled by them and was treated well and healed up quickly. Everyone there had a great sense of humor too!
Do not go to this place for an emergency. This place advertises themselves as a "24 hr emergency hospital" but it wasn't for us. Our dog became anemic due to internal bleeding so we went here as it was closest hospital to us. It was about 7pm on a saturday. We were let in the front door to be told that there were no doctors on site and they sent us away. This is a very dangerous false advertisement when in an emergency situation.
Dr. Rawlings and her staff are first class. My wife and I have two cats and two dogs and have moved frequently over the past 5 years, seeing 4+ veterinaries during this time. So take it from the people who eat at this restaurant monthly. Simply put, Broadway Vet gives a sh*t. They genuinely care about you and your pet(s). In terms of care, service, and value, good luck finding a better vet in Seattle.
A great experience! They saved my dog who was choking on a ball - a very terrifying experience. The all female staff that was working (I understand there was a change in ownership from previous reviews) took immediate action, calming both of us down as soon as we arrived. They were caring and all four staff members were so nice about staying after hours to finish taking care of him.
"I have been bringing my dog, Emma to BVH for over ten years and they have always treated her with the uttermost care and attention through surgeries, dental cleaning, boarding and general health care. I feel confident that under Dr Greg McWilliams and his great staff she is receiving the best treatment I could wish for, especially as she is now in her senior years. Thank you."
I've had to bring my dog in for checks ups, and on two separate occasions, for semi-emergencies. The staff there are always calm, efficient, and so helpful. The vets have also always helped me understand the cost of something before I choose to pay for it and I've never felt like they take advantage of me when I'm just trying to get services done for my pup. I love Broadway!
Dr Rawlings, Jenna and the rest of the staff are just amazing! They are knowledgeable and really care about the well being of your pet, from the effortless intake to the multiple check in calls after the appointment. My dog has been going to them for years and we will never go anywhere else, because you can't beat their prices, their friendliness, or their experience.
They were first there for us on an emergency with our lil Vizsla and we've been going here ever since! They are always available, very kind and courteous, and willing to spend the time with you to really explain what's going on and all your options. I would highly recommend Broadway Vet Hospital for all your emergency and non-emergency pet needs!
We've used Broadway Veterinary Hospital for years, for dogs and our cat. The service has always been good, but it's now exceptionally good under Dr. Greg McWilliams. He and the staff are a rare combination of being both empathetic and highly skilled and up-to-date. Loved it that we could get same-day (or even while-you-wait) results for tests.
I've hauled my cat across three states with me, so I've been to a number of veterinary clinics but the team here has been BY FAR the best team. They not only have been wonderful to my cat, but they also have great customer service as well! They are very clear when explaining things and I really appreciate the checkup phone calls.
I've been taking my cat(s) here since 2007. She's going on 15 now, and in fantastic health. My younger boy cat is in great health too, and he has been going here since I adopted him in about 2010. They're responsive, kind, and do a great job with the cat's dental hygiene. I'm grateful they're here.
Have been taking my cats here for almost 10 years, the office & staff have changed in that time but the great care they receive has not. From the front desk to techs to the vet, everyone has always been helpful answering questions & kind when I've been scared because my furry friends were sick.
We've been coming here for about 10 years with our medium breed dog. They've always been great to us, but I had a sense they went through a rough patch at some point in the past. We had a great experience today. They got us in quickly for an issue with our pup, and took really good care of us.
We have a dog who can be very difficult at times - especially when it comes to vet visits. Dr. Rawlings and the entire team have never been anything less than exceptional, whether it’s a routine checkup or something as involved as x-rays. I can’t recommend them highly enough!
Save yourself some deep frustration and heartache and find another office to go to. This office needs serious sensitivity training as well as front office staff that can provide accurate information. It was a mistake to go to this office and a really horrible experience.
Dr. Rawlings and her team are great to work with. They've been helping my Chihuahua with her weight program. They also let me know my pup wasn't kept up on her shots by her former owner and rectified that.their companion care plans are a great deal. Recommended highly.
Everyone was incredibly friendly and we did not have a long wait time at all. The environment is very cute and welcoming. The only thing is I would love if I could accompany my pet to the back for her exam, but the vet was super patient and answered all my questions!
gross and dirty, usually busy and cannot get helped at time of visits, rude when putting our dog to sleep I'd say medical neglect towards Animals the doctor I didn't feel he could properly diagnosis ppl animals. If you love your pet this is not a place to take them.
Dr. McWilliams and Dr. Park and the rest of the staff here are extraordinarily gentle, generous, and caring. They're good at explaining what's happening and in taking into consideration your experience as well as your fur-covered friend's. Broadway Vet is the best.
Not a great vet for first-time dog owners. They failed to let me know what my pup needed from heart worm to neutering. Also, they will siphon as much money from you as possible while advocating turning your dog vegetarian - very poor overall value proposition.
Broadway's team is incredible. Whether it be the front desk, techs or the doctors, it is very obvious that each genuinely cares about your pet and is passionate about providing awesome care and answering any questions. Would give more stars if I could!
I loved this clinic. It's not our usual clinic, as it was a holiday; however, my dog and I were treated like family. My dog was seen almost immediately and it was as pleasant an experience as possible. Highly recommend!
Why would you put a diabetic cat on weightloss food? They told me to put the insulin in the wrong spot. Had to get a second opion. It feels like this place is a school and not a good place to take your loved ones too.
Absolutely amazing experience every time we go in. I've been to a lot of different vets in my lifetime and Broadway is by far the most down to earth and sensitive. I would recommend them to anyone.
We've been really impressed with the staff at Broadway. They're helpful, responsive, and courteous. It's been the best veterinarian experience during the 20 years we've lived in Seattle.
Every visit with my new Great Dane puppy so far has been great. Always started on time, took time to explain everything to me and answer all my questions. Love the Wellness Plans!
Dr. Rawlings and the rest of her staff have always been amazing. I work at another vet that has limited services and I trust Broadway to take care of my girls. Highly recommended.
They're flexible on when we bring our cat in, and took great car of her when she had to have teeth pulled. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the doctors are great!
Easy parking, easy appointment setting, clean and welcoming rooms, always friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great care for my kitties, no hassles for me.
They are phenomenal and took great care of my dog for almost 3 years! Sad to no longer have them as our vet as we moved. Highly recommend.
I have been going to Broadway since moving to Seattle in 2016, and they always do such a wonderful job taking care of my animals.
Great veterinary clinic! Dr Rawlings is very compassionate and caring. I would highly recommend Broadway Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. McWilliams is a very compassionate and intelligent vet and the rest of the staff at Broadway Vet Hosp is also top notch!
My dogs have never been this comfortable in a vet clinic. Everyone working here is kind and knowledgeable and very helpful.
Great customer service. They are kind and compassionate, they prices are competitive and affordable.
Great service with friendly staff. Welcomes our pet with their name on their board.
Seven years in, we still love this vet hospital and rely on them for all our needs.
Will be going here again. The doctor was thorough and the staff was kind.
Felt immediately welcomed, everyone on staff radiates warmth and care.
NEVER EVER EVER take your pet here if you care about their well being.
Awesome vet! They've been caring for my chickens for years.
Friendly people, but a lil pricey. Urbanvet is where I go.
Quick and friendly. Was very good with my little kitty.
Great staff and treatment for my little bunny :)
