"This library is decently spacious but not too much"
"Decent library overall, but it suffers from a funding shortfall (libraries in NYC are lobbying now for increased funding), and lack of foresight in design"
"This is among one of the newer Brooklyn public libraries"
I like this library - especially in the mornings. The place is not crowded, there is plenty of spaces for everyone. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. The building has a modern look. Especially I like glass roof. The first floor of the library is for the adults, and the second floor is for the children. I see lot of young adults coming to this library to study and to prepare for their tests. I also see there some elderly people - everyone is welcome, everyone can find here a place, which can suit him or her the best. There are plenty of computers. I also see people coming with their own laptops. I am sure anyone who comes to this library will love it. Five plus stars.
This libary had a large selection of books. You can get all the types of books that you want and also they are willing to order books from other libraries from you. The workers are always super nice and respectful to everyone. The place is very clean and tidy. If you ever need to go somewhere to do homework or to do other types of work this libary is an absolutely a great place. This place is incredibly quiet and organized. I highly recommend going to this place if you are a student and ever need help with anything for if you need to do research without having a lot of distractions. This is one of the best Public Libraries. This place is just great
This library is decently spacious but not too much. There are a decent amount of tables. The bathroom is clean but it isn't wise to have the garbage pail underneath the hand dryer, as it blows everything at the top out of the garbage pail. It can get very noisy and distracting when you are downstairs and you hear noises from kids upstairs on the children's floor. They library needs to get rid of the huge circular opening and cover it completely. Because that is why we who are downstairs are hearing all that noise.
Decent library overall, but it suffers from a funding shortfall (libraries in NYC are lobbying now for increased funding), and lack of foresight in design. Yes, the open-air style is cool, but for people coming to do serious work or study at the library, it can be intimidating. Also, like at other branches, there are too few computers and seats in general to accommodate patrons comfortably. Fund your libraries New York! You're making a big mistake by not investing more heavily in the future.
This is among one of the newer Brooklyn public libraries. The design and atmosphere of the building make is warm and cozy place to hang out. The librarians are patient and kind. There is a vast amount of variety and range of books to chose from. The books are kept in good condition and are considerably new for the most part. In my experience, this library is a great place to go to if you need to relax or get away from life for a few hours.
Having been born and raised in the U.S.A. I feel it's been a blessing to have these public libraries. From the moment I learned to write my own name I have had a library card, that's 62 years. And Now that I am older it's a place of joyous learning for myself, my children, my grandchildren, and my great grands. This place is AWESOME.
Although this a decent the teenagers are causing disruption during our library experience. Because all they do is fool around like 8 year olds and even 8 years act more maturely as if they were adults; great library but so the right teens.
Shout out to the librarian Alex for going beyond his call of duty and getting everything needed to help my daughter with her book report. This branch can be very proud of their employees. Will definitely be back
The best library in the neighborhood. Very clean and neat, on hot days AC is always on which makes visitors very comfortable. Good and quite environment to bring in your laptop and do practice.
I love the library. It is a very modern building with lots of appeal. Large windows bring in natural light. The only downfall is teenagers hang out using the computers to play video games.
A beautiful and quite library. When there is no school, it gets crowded amd somewhat noisy, but usually its quite. they also have a beautiful kiddie section on the second floor.
Dangerous Situation for children upstairs in the children's Section. The glass gate is not tall enough. A 3 yr old can climb up on the book cases near the glass gate.
Beautiful and spacious. Has 3 floors - ground, underground and second. Second floor for kids. They provide toddler programs on Wednesdays (from 11 am till 11:45 am)
I have been going here since I was a little kid. Love the library! Very nice staff and quite environment! One of the best libraries I have ever went to.
People at the Library were very helpful but I wish they had a better selection of Books to choose from. Was a bit disappointed in that area.
Had a great experience - it's clean and have enough computers. The main thing librarians are fantastic they help you alot if u need any .
Nice and new building. The actual space for the library goers is small and, I believe, also the selection. Nice staff.
This is a great place. There are lots of books to choose from. It is also handicap access. I rode my scooter inside.
A small but very modern local library branch. Helpful employees and at least 20 public computers on the main floor
It's a little nicer than the other library I just reviewed. The internet was a little slower and just as dicey.
The Kensington library has outdoor seating, a covered area with chairs and quiet space for reading.
The staff gives excellent customer service. Nice place to look for reading material or study.
Need copies, scanner, printer or just want a nice place to read, this is your place.
I like this library. It's very neat and clean. Stuff are more friendly and helpful.
