One word: WOW. To say I was blown away would be the understatement of the century. Being fairly high maintenance about my teeth, I’ve always had routine check ups and preventative work where necessary. When my regular dentist retired a few years ago, I bounced around to a few different dentists, with none really ticking all the boxes. The last dentist I saw for about two years but they ended up botching a filling replacement quite significantly after putting it off for a number of visits stating they “didn’t want to drill unless absolutely necessary”. While I respect and appreciate this attitude, if it’s causing any issues, I believe it should absolutely be dealt with. Of course, I ended up with terrible discomfort, requiring the filling to be replaced, which is when the real issues arose. The discomfort from prior to the replacement was mildly soothed but food would continuously get caught where the new filling was, the tooth was now incredibly sensitive and it began to have a smell when flossing (gross!). I chose to make the switch to Brunswick Dental Group on a friend’s referral, and Alexandra managed to find me a cancellation at short notice before I left for an extended holiday. The appointment was with Katherine and from the get-go she was gentle in her approach and had incredible communication. Katherine and Stella took a couple of X-rays and it was agreed that the filling should ideally be replaced (again..). Though it was a lengthy process, the diligence and care was something like I’ve never experienced. Since being replaced the filling is completely unnoticeable and feels like a real tooth again. There is ZERO sensitivity, which Katherine said was unlikely to be resolved, setting very realistic expectations given the proximity to the nerve. Any issues when flossing have been completely resolved too. Though the dental health issues were the primary reason I attended BDG, the icing on the cake (probably the wrong figure of speech for a dentist review) was the fact that it didn’t leave me broke at the end of the whole process. I can’t thank Katherine, Stella and Alexandra enough for the exceptional care and can’t wait to come back in 6 months. I’ve already made sure to let my family and friends know that they have to make the switch - after all, the teeth that Katherine is looking after sit in a very big, loud mouth. There was an elderly gentleman with mobility issues ahead of me in the hallway and one of the other dentists (I believe Dr Jim Yannopoulos from the website photos) was so gentle with him and his wife, assisting them both with getting down the hallway safely. Really lovely to see.

I had a chipped tooth so went in to have a filling done. The entire side of my face was numb and I was in there for well over an hour- strange I thought... but the dentist had mentioned getting another tooth nearby that was showing signs of decay. I was horrified to be presented with a bill at the end for $890- turns out that 5 fillings had been done! Five! I certainly did not agree to that (I can't afford it!) and at no point were the words 'lie back, I'm going to give you five fillings' uttered. The very kind and admittedly skilled Dentist did apologise and claim a miscommunication- and referred back to an earlier estimate of dentistry to be done as justification for giving me five fillings instead of one. I'm sorry- but an estimate of dentistry you think I should have, given to me months prior to the visit (to be honest the estimate was so ludicrously expensive I ignored it completely) does not give you free reign to go into my mouth and carry out work without telling me. I will not be returning.

Dr Jim and the team at BDG have shown me nothing but kindness since the first day I walked in. The professionalism and expertise offered by Jim and his staff and the state of the practice are above and beyond one’s expectations. I’ve had several procedures at BDG all performed with the highest skill level and attention to detail. Dr Jim genuinely cares about his patients and builds good relationships with them, in my personal experience. Dr Jim takes ones own personal financial situation into account when considering a dental plan. I’m so fond of him I even referred a friend who was extremely apprehensive to visit the dentist but was very much in need of a visit. I couldn’t give a more positive review of BDG or rate the group more highly and would absolutely definitely recommend.

I had terrible gum pain and the team worked their magic - it started by setting up an appointment as soon a feasibly possible; they also kept in regular touch to try and get me in sooner (in the case of any cancellations). Big ticks for a business that calls back when they promise - so important! Service with a smile might sound too much like a pun in the dental world ... but when a pun makes for an excellent experience, who am I to question it. The team made me feel so comfortable, talked me through my treatments, before, during and after .... and they made me smile, even though I was in pain. They gave me spot on aftercare advice and I’ve healed at record speed - so that’s definitely another big tick for this amazing team! I highly recommend Brunswick Dental Group.

These guys are the best! Dr Jim and his team are very professional and I feel safe in their hands. I have been a patient for over 20 years and in that time, had a lot of work done. I think it's fair to say, they saved my teeth. My hygienist Pricilla, does a wonderful job, always ensuring her patient is comfortable, understands the procedure and is not afraid or scared. My family and I have been coming to the Brunswick Dental Group for dental services for the past fifteen years. We have been very pleased about the quality of services we have received. We have received a variety of dental services: check-ups, teeth cleaning performed by the dental hygienist, fillings, braces, root canals, crowns and extractions. We have never had a single problem in all that time. Prices are fair and reasonable. I always feel genuinely welcome and cared about when I visit this place. I know when I send someone I care about here for dental services, they're in good hands. That peace of mind, that you are certain you are going to get the best possible service, is worth a lot to me.

As someone who hasn’t been to the dentist for 15 years, I was extremely anxious about going to get my sore tooth checked out. From the moment I walked in to the clinic, the vibe was friendly and caring. Dr Jim greeted me like he would an old friend and within 30 minutes I’d been examined, x-rayed and had my wisdom tooth removed which was the cause of the pain. All for the low cost of $315! It was all so easy and I felt supported every step of the way. Dr Jim even went so far as to call me after hours tonight to check up on me and offer any additional support over the phone. What an absolute legend! Can’t recommend this place more highly

I went to see Dr Daniel Yapp when my tooth got chipped. I have to tell that he is one of the best dentist I've ever met with. He is highly skilled, very friendly, takes time to explain everything he's gonna be doing and makes sure you feel as comfortable as you can in a given situation. I've always been nervous when the time came to see a dentist but since I've been visiting Dr Yapp I'm more relaxed. I've been to his practice multiple times in the past year and have never had bad experience. I can highly recommend Dr Yapp if you are seeking a relaxed environment mixed with professionalism.

Wanted to find a reliable and trustworthy dentist when I moved to Melbourne and found Brunswick Dental group to meet these expectations and more! I had various treatments, check ups and lastly front veneers with Dr Sulwyn Reed and all were excellent. I am so so happy with my veneers - he went above and beyond to make these perfect. He is very approachable and has made coming to the practice a really enjoyable experience. Front desk team are awesome too - calls to check up on me after treatments and reminders for appointments. This is the best dental group I have come across yet! Really good hygienists where I get my regular six monthly scale and clean. I've also had my teeth whitened here with fantastic results. I've had fillings and most recently a dental implant done by the highly skilled (and gentle) Dr Daniel Yap. They are really friendly, professional and all extra care is taken once you leave, with follow up calls to check how everything is going. My husband and I have been coming here for about 5 years now and highly recommend! Best dentist in the Brunswick area, hands down.

Gave me pain and increased sensitivity in the name of restoration..my tooth was fine and then after the examination the dentist told that the teeth needs adhesive restoration and I did as they said. After the restoration I received pain! Got back to the dentist to be checked. The dentist said all good and then when I asked why I am having pain if all is good then there is no answer. So basically I paid to get some unbearable pain. Now I have problems eating because I can't chew for the pain..this is not good..this is frustrating

I have been attending the dental clinic for over 20 years and have had a lot of dental treatment. Dr Daniel Yap and his offsider Anna are fantastic. They both are welcoming, make you feel comfortable and are very professional. Daniel has been a great dentist. I have liked the way he hasn’t been judgemental and has not over serviced. In an emergency he has been able to see me. I now am moving away from Brunswick so will need to find a new dentist - Daniel has recommended someone.

I can't recommend Dr Katherine Yannopoulous enough. She was kind, caring and explained what was going on in my mouth very clearly, which I had not experienced with other dentists beforehand. This both gave me peace of mind and helped me understand what was of major concern and how to combat it effectively. The rest of the staff were all friendly and welcoming, the pricing was also fair and well explained. I can definitely say I had my best dental experience yet at BDG.

Obviously no one looks forward to going to the dentist but this is definitely the best place to go. Highly recommend Daniel Yap. Leianna (dental hygienist) made my teeth cleaning appointment as comfortable of an experience as possible. She was very careful and talked me through everything she was doing. I really appreciated the desensitizing gels she applied while cleaning. Dr Ambrose (dentist) was also very informative during my checkup, and my overall experience at Brunswick Dental Group has been very positive. I plan to stick with this clinic for future appointments.

Very welcoming staff making you feel super comforting and well cared for I initially came here with a treatment plan from another clinic (from Sydney), Dr Jim examined me thoroughly and advised me why I don't need most of the prescribed work done. Love this client-first and non-invasive approach. The cleanup procedure and a filling I needed to do were beautifully done. Cannot recommend Brunswick Dental Group highly enough!

I have moved from Brunswick since I started going here but will travel to keep visiting my exceptional dentist at this highly professional practice. My dentist is both highly technically proficient and empathetic and I feel extremely fortunate to have him as my dentist. All the staff are friendly and the dental hygienist are also exceptional. I had an awesome experience coming here! Everyone was very friendly and comforting. I had my appointment with Dr Eden Ambrose and I would definitely recommend seeing him. Dr Yazmine is the absolute best dentist I've ever been to, they looked after me when my tooth cracked- on a Sunday no less! She is kind and compassionate and goes out of her way to give the best service she can, all while charging reasonable fees. I will recommend this dental clinic to every person I know! Been attending Brunswick Dental Group for ages now, I've been having my treatment and checkups with Dr Daniel Yap for years now and am very happy with how gentle and open he is. Daniel takes the time to explain things and rarely runs late which is so refreshing these days. The hygienists are great too, very informative and feels so good after the cleans!! Told my friends and family already.

Dr Yap and Dr Yannopoulos are two of the most caring and gentle dentists I have ever been to. I had 2 tooth extractions but never felt any pain. Before each procedure, Dr Yap explains things very simply and in detail and in a caring manner, so there is no fear about anything unexpected that might happen. Likewise with Dr Yannopoulos. After my experience, I can't imagine going anywhere else.

I had a great experience with Brunswick Dental Group. I got a dental clean and a check up. Leianna took such good care of me, she guided me through all the steps involved in the hygiene process, explaining why each step was necessary and what they did. I've been going here for 6 years and always have a positive experience. I've had appointments with several different hygienists and dentists and have never been disappointed. Everyone here communicates well about what they're doing while working on your teeth and shares their honest professional opinion when you have a question or concern.

Would not hesitate to recommend Eden (dentist) and Leianna (hygienist). I don't think I've come across anyone in the healthcare industry that cares as deeply about their role as these two. I rang, after checking Google Maps for dentists, whilst in great pain & the warm, pleasant receptionist got me in on the day due to a cancellation, which I am so grateful for. The dentist was friendly, up front & efficient. I had my cracked tooth extracted. It wasn’t cheap ($335) but was happy to pay for excellent service.
