Zyria Johnson and some guy name David is not good managers.I received a car Kia Forte that had a flat and everyone knows Kia does not put spare tires in the back. I went to see if the flat could be fixed on driver side and it could not. Therefore I called the roadside service to assist. I have been stranded 2 days on I/45 N headed to Fort Worth waiting for Budget to bring another car. It amazes me with all these wanna be entrepreneurs in the world wanting to sell junk illusions they call inventor ideal they call dreams. Anyone can obtain something but ask can you maintain what you got. Zyria Johnson do not give your friends the hookup to impress but learn to look do business first and pleasure last. Be a professional Manger at Budget and service customers properly. And stop hand washing those Cars yourself behind a business building. Hire responsible people to work. You charged my Government Credit and left me stranded . I will find out how to be accommodated For charging my card and provided not service for roadside services. Still sitting and waiting on Budget to replace my rental on 1-45 North interstate. Be careful with renting from this location Zyria Johnson is a one girl shop trying to juggle a lot of responsibilities. Learn how to Delegate authority!!!! Have A Wonderful Amazing wanna be mindful day. Greatest Business Lesson is Money can take you a lot of places, however some people want good service why they traveling to those places. Stop looking to make money and look at yourself as Wealth and Opulence with Service….You will always have production and promotion in business!!!

Horrible service!!!! Wife rented a car from this place at Hulen mall on Friday May 3rd. When she arrived the place was busy and they didn't have clean cars available. In order to get people out of there they said, and my wife quotes "oh, we are very busy, we don't have alot of time, here's the keys and take that one over there." Granted, my wife should have demanded a walk around but she didn't. When my wife got home with the car, I immediately noticed how dirty the car was and that the windshield was cracked. The inside of the car smelled like someone had been living in it for awhile, I couldn't believe a car could smell so bad in the few miles it had on it. I immediately took pictures and made a video of the damage and the soil on the outside and the mileage to prove she hadn't driven more than 3 miles to the house. Too bad video can't capture the smell. I actually had to stop and buy an air freshener for out trip. After we returned it, weeks later we received a letter stating we would be charged for the broken windshield. We went down there and spoke with someone and showed them the pics and video. She emailed pics/video to her main office and said it would be taken care of. 3-1/2 months later we still receive a letter stating she would be charged. My wife called and spoke with someone who claims it would be taken care of. She did send a letter saying we would NOT be charged so we now have our paper trail for protection. Lesson... Always do a walk around, consider insurance, take names of everybody you deal with. The situation may be solved but they have lost my business.

I utilize this location simply for convenience. They have the next best rates, following airport rates and I prefer not to make the trips to the airport for a rental. This is a combined Avis/Budget Car Rental location and I've rented from both companies. My most recent rental was with Budget. The kids that work in here are very sweet and welcoming, however, they don't present with adequate training. My pick-up process is always delayed, due to the agents requiring a manager's assistance (via phone call). Mind you, I typically pay in advance and complete the pre-pickup documentation form that's sent via email. So, pickup should be speedy. When I picked up my rental last week, they initially gave me the wrong car. I pre-paid for an suv that seats 7, and was given one that only seats 5. So, I had to go through the entire check out process again, which included the agent calling the manager. When the agent found the correct rental, I then had to wait an additional 20 minutes for him to go next door to Walmart to put air in the tires. To put the icing on the cake, the car was filthy! When I complained, the agent advised that they "wash all cars by hand" and that was the "best they could do." I just find it mind blowing that a company with such a strict policy on bringing the vehicle back clean would give you a dirty car!!! In any case, I had plans to adhere to and had already spent an hour trying to pick up my rental, so I just left. I understand that everyone has to start somewhere and I commend these kids for trying to make an honest living, however, they need to be trained!!!

Anytime I need a quick rental because of car repairs or need a larger sedan for a week or so I use this Budget at Hulen Mall next to the Sears auto center. My last rental was a Ford Taurus Limited. It had every available option from Ford including air conditioned front seats. I was surprised how nice this car was after reading bad reviews about the car from online car reviewers. It drives great, the ride is very smooth compared to our 2017 Honda Accord. My wife and I are now going to buy the 2019 Ford Taurus SHO when it releases this autumn because of this rental. 2019 is the last year for the big Taurus, in 2020 it's getting a huge makeover and will be smaller! The girl that works there is friendly and very knowledgeable about the vehicles they offer for rent. They will take you home if you live in the Hulen/Wedgewood area when you drop off the car should you not have a ride back home. You can rent the higher end cars at the DFW airport location and then drop them off here closer to home. I highly recommend this neighborhood Budget rental.

So I rented a seven passenger vehicle cus I was taking the family out of town and I needed lots of room . Soon as I got the vehicle on the highway I noticed there was a bad problem . Not safe to drive on the highway . So I returned the vehicle right away but there were no other similar vehicles available until after 5 pm Joel at Bryant Irving location called around to nearby hubs to try and locate me one he was very helpful .so we decided to go to hulen location wherei I met Jordon he did some juggling and got me and my family in a safe car in like less than half an hour we were on our way . It truly was an emergency and he went above and beyond his desire to make a customer happy is awesome God bless the person who raised him he's a great guy saved the family vacation the car worked wonderful

Honestly 0 out of 5. Booked a rental the day before online for a full size car. Pulled into the parking lot 7:30 am (open at 8). I only see 2 minivans and a expedition. Whoever opened didn't show up til 8:15 am. Walked in me and 2 others had been waiting. First Lady wanted a car, he only had those 3 vehicles so they settled for a van. I called the Budget in N. Ft Worth off Beach whom I used prior, customer service was fantastic. Apologized for this location's failure and said they have a few returns coming around 10 am and would gladly help me. Don't waste your time booking this location. Drive a little further and get what you need. EDIT: 5 PM received my rental at 3 pm from N. Beach Street. They had cars available and were communicating with me all day to get me a vehicle! Go there!!

Extremely disappointed. I rented car for 1 week I payed online. When I reached their I took insurance with my visa card.They downgarded my car so they were checking for price which increased my total.So, I asked them to keep my reservation same. They told their system went down I can take car and they will charge me later. Took all my details hand written on a paper. They charged me $345 instead of $110. I called them and reached them in person for 6 times. Called customer service. They always said we will refund you. After almost 2 months I got my money refunded but not whole amount. They paid me $40 less. I am tired and sick of visiting this people again and again. I appreciate the staff for talking to me politely . But the service is so bad. Never visit this place again.

BUDGET STOLE MY MONEY I tried to get a rental from here I prepaid over the phone just to get there and my credit was frozen I understand that my credit was frozen so I called to get my credit left but budget still said it was frozen even though I called in front of them. I then decided to get get my money back because I have already paid over the phone with budget however they told me that I did not pay them and I chose to pay over the counter (lies) I then explain that the money is already out of my bank account as of 9/2/23 I still have not got my money even though I have sent them pdf of my bank statement where it shows that I paid them for a CAR I NEVER GOT do not go here they will steal your money

Rented online from them. Got to the store, and the car was dirty when I got it. After returning the car EARLY and cleaning it out, they took my $250 deposit, charged me a 159 cleaning fee, THEN charged me $379 saying it was for pet hair when I didn’t even have dogs in the car. With what I paid for the rental and all the other cost it came out to be $1200 for a 5 day rental without even warning me the other charges were coming out. Right on the day I was supposed to pay for rent and put me in a terrible spot financially. When I called, the girl said I could have been charged up to $450 for pet hair so I was lucky. Would not rent from this place.

My car broke down so I needed a rental. Budget allowed me to “reserve “ a car online so I completed the required information to reserve a car. I had to catch an Uber to their location and once I got there the front desk girl informed they didn’t actually have a car for me and that she would have called but didn’t have my contact information (which is not true). When I asked her if she could check other locations for availability she said she could not. Don’t go here or any other Budget. Horrible service. Wasted my time had to wait 25 minutes for another Uber.

I wouldn’t use this place... their Communication skills are poor... then when you call to speak to management apparently they don’t have a schedule and come in when they feel like it...nor do they return calls... Even if they say they’ve explained everything to you read your contract in detail because if they don’t you’ll still get charged and they’ll say well it’s in the contract instead of simply being honest and fixing the mistake... And I don’t see that as a way to retain customers...

Vehicle was really dirty inside, hadn't been vacuumed and could have used a nice wipe down. When I asked if any clean vehicles available, employee claimed vehicle had been clean and anything else was just a stain, which was not the case. The employee offered to "wipe" down vehicle again,which I accepted...When the car came back around, it looked the same inside..I will never rent from here again. I was really shocked that they would rent out a car in that condition.

I’ve rented twice vehicles here, first one had expired registration since August 2022. Didn’t realize it till a few days I had taken vehicle, wasn’t able to use it for what I needed. Try talking to employees about it and they just advices to call budget. Like usual you can’t get a hold of no one. Second time I rented a vehicle it was filthy inside and out and with out gas. Vehicles at this location are poorly maintained.

ZERO stars. Husband reviewed our initial experience but it got worse.... We were charged $714 for windshield that was already cracked. Luckily, took pics BEFORE we left the parking to. SO, with the proof, they refunded. Then, THEY fixed their windshield and charged US $284 for the sensor reprogram. For the cracked windshield that they agreed we did NOT do. 5 months later, and we're still dealing with this.

We had been renting from another company and thought the prices was a bit high. I decided to Google and it pulled up a Budget Rental near me. I called for more information and the young lady was very nice and helpful. We went over and she took good care of us. Budget is now my car rental place to do business with and I will tell others looking to rent. We have rented several times in just the last month!

Zyaria was fantastic! We needed an extra car for a couple days so my son could help me while my Mom was in the hospital and I could work. She got us in a car, hassle free! My son was just a few minutes late bringing it back and she was very professional but understanding about our situation. She took good care of us and we highly recommend renting at this Budget (Hulen Mall). Thank you for all your help!

Pretty messy transaction. Car not clean, cracked window, paperwork not turned in, charged for window that was cracked when I picked it up…. Owner seems like he cares, but because this is an independent location, you’ll never get the service like the corporate chains….. Sadly, do not recommend this location.

Employee did an excellent job getting us set up, the pick and and drop off were a breeze. Only complaint is that the car probably should have had an oil change before going out to us, but we had no issues with it. Overall, an excellent experience and we will keep this site in mind for future rentals.

Terrible customer service. Wouldn’t help me, wouldn’t contact her supervisor. Suggested I go to enterprise across the street. Now I have to deal with a cancellation and refund on my own. Contacting corporate office. My vacation was ruined because of this.

Thankful for this place! Jordan was willing to stay open a little longer due to me running late. The process was so quick, affordable, and easy from walking in to driving off, under 10 minutes. This will definitely be my go to rental car location.

This dump is run by children that don’t even show up on time to work, it’ll be the last time I do business in any way with Avis or budget rental car. I don’t advise anybody else use them either.
