When picking up my rental car I noticed a large cigarette burn in the drivers seat and several smaller burns in the seat and one on the console. As I drove away I noticed a strange smell and originally id’d it as a cleaning solution. Soon I realized it was the cleaning solution and cigarette smoke. When I arrived at my destination 500 miles away I had to wait until the next day to call and let the manager know the car stunk of smoke. He claimed to not have smelled it. I began to develop headaches each time I drove the car and had to resort to driving with the windows down. Upon returning the car I asked the manager for compensation due to the state of the car. I was informed there was nothing he could do as I had prepaid. I was incredulous and told him I didn’t prepay for a car that stunk of cigarettes. He shrugged his shoulders and repeated there was nothing he could do. Again he claimed to not smell it yet when doing laundry upon returning home I could smell the cigarette stench in my clothes. I’ll never use Budget again. Extremely poor customer service.

Let me preface this by saying that I have had a not great time at this location before. The customer service I recieved this time was much different. I went in to pick up my rental and was greeted immediately. There was a bit of an issue with previous people not returning their cars on time so all that was left was a van. I was offered to take that so that I didn't have to wait. Unfortunately that wasn't going to work for what I needed it for. Chad was very helpful and accommodating. He was on the phones to other locations trying to find something as a substitute. He went all the way to the Kanata location in order to get a car in the size I needed. I'm thankful for his help and definitely will use this location in the future.

Had reserved a 16' truck a few weeks before moving day with Chad. Truck was onsite and available the day/time of scheduled pick up. Chad was courteous, friendly, and professional in facilitating a quick, inexpensive, and stress-free rental process. Chad will be the first call for my next rental.

Horrible customer service, rented me a dirty car that looked like it had a beach party inside and told me it was clean. With no insurance card, I called for insurance card and was told they would send it to me and never heard nothing back. This is why I deal with enterprise

Friendly, fast, effective. The 1 missing star is because they close early. My own stupidity for not checking, really, but yeah. Plan your pickup like you're not the centuries old vampire you really are. If you wait til sundown, you're too late.

Avoid this location. Owner and Staff are rude, they try to extract as much money as they can. Rented a SUV for a day, they told me total cost of $170 but after return they charged me $360.

Made a reservation for a camry full size sedan and they tell me they have a hyundai Santa Fe. I dont want this vehicle I wanted the vehicle I reserved. Bad experience

Good experience, was able to pick a car last minute. Only problem was that, the car was recently smoked in. Making it quite an uncomfortable long trip.

Rented a car and it was dirty when I picked it up. Exterior had not been washed. Interior was very dirty as well.

Good pricing and excellent service. Highly recommended if you are in Ottawa and look to rent a car or truck.
