*** Update September 2023 *** I am back for dine in brunch today. My wife enjoyed the Lox & Bagel and I had the breakfast plate with chicken sausage. I am impressed. The bagels are wonderful and pillowy. The lox and bagel was done very well with the capers, cream cheese and onions . Excellent choice here. My Masala Chai tea with oat milk was done quite well. I am very satisfied and a happy camper. The breakfast plate is equally satisfying. The bagel is scrumptious again. A++ experience today. I decided to drop in and try their drinks along with a croissant and toasted bagel with butter to go. It is a local mom @ pop business and you all know how much I appreciate and admire their hard work and dedication. They deserve our support. The place was busy and bustling. The service is helpful. I tried a dirty chai tea ☕️ latte and my wife tried their iced coffee. The flavours on both of these drinks were nice. But for me, I still prefer my Chai tea lattes both iced and hot from Starbucks. And I am still looking for a delicious chai tea latte from an independent coffee / cafe location, and my search continues. I will return to try their breakfast and brunch at a later date. Happy eats everyone

I visited Buka Maranga Cafe yesterday for breakfast and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The cafe has a welcoming and versatile atmosphere, perfect for a range of occasions - whether you're catching up with friends or looking to get some work done on your laptop. For our meal, we ordered two smoothies, an artisan grilled cheese sandwich, and their BBLT sandwich. Each item was a testament to the quality and care put into their food. The smoothies were refreshing and flavorful, a perfect start to the morning. The grilled cheese sandwich was a gourmet take on a classic, oozing with cheesy goodness and perfectly grilled to a golden crisp. The BBLT sandwich was equally impressive, with each component fresh and delicious, making every bite a joy. Buka Maranga Cafe is more than just a breakfast spot; it's a great place for lunch too, offering a variety of tasty options. The cafe strikes a perfect balance between a cozy eatery and a productive workspace, making it an ideal spot for different needs. If you're in the area and looking for a place to enjoy a delicious meal in a comfortable and inviting setting, Buka Maranga Cafe is definitely worth a visit. Their combination of delicious food, great atmosphere, and versatile space is a rare find.

Buka Cafe is a fantastic spot for coffee, breakfast, and lunch. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy, with a mix of modern and vintage decor that makes it feel like a hidden gem. The coffee is delicious, with various roasts and blends to choose from. The breakfast menu is extensive, with something for everyone, from traditional breakfast options to creative and unique dishes. The lunch menu is equally impressive, with various sandwiches, salads, and bowls to choose from. The staff is friendly and attentive, always willing to make recommendations or help with any questions. The service is fast and efficient, making it an excellent spot for a quick breakfast or lunch break. One of the highlights of Buka Cafe is the outdoor seating area. It's a beautiful space with plenty of tables and umbrellas, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee or meal on a sunny day. Overall, Buka Cafe is a fantastic spot for coffee, breakfast, and lunch. The atmosphere is inviting, the food is delicious, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it!

The perfect cafe spot for hanging out with your friends! ☕ Buka Maranga has a rustic-industrial vibe with plants all around, making it cozy and relaxing. We went on a weekday, but it was so busy. They serve housemade bagels, and of course, we had to try them. We ordered the bacon sunrise omelette, which came with a bagel, potatoes, and omelette. The bagel was fresh and chewy, the potatoes were perfectly seasoned and crispy and the omelette was filled with cheese. However, my favorite was the Lox bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon, and pickled onions. It was incredibly delicious. Their lavender matcha latte was also worth trying; it was so pretty and tasted so good. I also wanted to try their croissants, but they were mostly sold out, with only one left. I’ll definitely try it next time.

****Updated Review- One of the best coffee place in Mississauga without any doubt. Our first visit the machine was not working and I was so disappointed since even then had read great reviews about the coffee. But this time I went in for the coffee and have finally found my favorite spot! Review 1- Good ambience and service. Loved the classic breakfast bagel as well as the vegetarian Omelette was good with side of greens and bagel. Only disappointment was the coffee machine was under maintenance and could not try my usual mocha/latte here. Just normal coffee or tea was available. Will be visiting gain to try this out. Overall great place for breakfast!

I wanted to buy some fresh roasted coffee beans. I walked in and saw a bag of espresso marked Millcreek medium roast. I asked the server if they had freshly roasted bean and he pointed it at the bag I saw. I picked it up, didn't see a roast date but I asked him if you guys roasted this and he said yes. And this is fresh?? He said yes. I didn't really believe him..but against my better judgement I bought the 400g bag for $20. Beans were dark roast and can't pull a proper shot with an open portafilter. I cannot recommend buying beans from here.

I've been here twice, and both times enjoyed absolutely phenomenal food. The first time I ordered avocado on bagels, basic, beautiful, and most importantly DELICIOUS. That first visit was in February, and I suppose the colder weather prevented them from keeping the kind of garage-like door/wall that separates the outside from the inside open. On my second visit in the summer, they had an open air concept going on where the doors were open, which didn't work as well for me as the closed off winter version. A bunch of bugs flew around my food in the summer, which was unpleasant and annoying. Other than that, the seating and lounge area were very relaxed and comfy, and the server was very friendly and took initiative well.

First visit today, was looking for a place close to my client to meet up, he suggested this gem, he was on point, from entering the service was friendly, the food was fresh & served fast, the atmosphere is like a co working slash Resto/cafe set up, the patio area has a nice vibe - great tunes & can work remotely here. Will visit often to try different things on menu.

This place has lively ambience. Seating area is divided into outdoor and indoor once the partition is opened. Several different seating arrangements which we liked! It gives a feeling if café. We ordered vegetarian Omelet and Vegetarian Piadini along with caramel mocha. We loved mocha. It was just delish. Food was okay. It could have been better. Also, very few options for vegetarian (3 or 4 dishes). Staff is friendly. Place doesn't require reservations. We got table when we arrived. Also there is no table service. You need to order at the counter and find empty table. Added menu and some pictures for reference.

Great Cafe! It has a nice atmosphere to have a casual chat, do some work, and eat. I did a solo adventure here and tried the lavender matcha latte iced and a lox (bagel with salmon, cream cheese, and paid additional for avocado topping). First, I paid for everything, and then they gave me a number to sit wherever I wanted. There were some high-top counter seating, tables, or coaches to choose from. Service was good and food tasted great! I will come back when I'm in the area.

Place is pretty hip, with a couple of people with laptops choosing to do their work here. It's a nice place for that. The menu was oddly stretched out to the right of the cashier which isn't very efficient. Ordered a Citrus Quinoa salad with smoked salmon and chicken couscous soup. They don't have trays so I have to make 2 rounds for the food. I liked the salad it was refreshing with was sweet sour and savory. The problem is the soup which was serve to me cool. Not hot, not warm but cool...which is never good for soup.

I came across this place online and decided to try it. I thought that the customer service was excellent, although it did take a little bit of time before we got our order. I liked the set up of the place and find it very simple. I also like how the theme remains constant throughout, even on the cups. I found the vanilla hazelnut latte slightly strong, but the chai latte was good. I would've preferred the egg sandwich to be toasted and warm. The veggie wrap was great, healthy and tasty. It's also a great place to hang out. Turmeric latte was great. Update: still my favourite breakfast place!

  • picaplate

Such a great experience! The cafe is really inviting and the decor naturally puts you to ease. The food is so delicious! Simple Ingredients that really work well. They also bake their own bagels every morning!!!! They have an incredible selection of food and drinks. Their patio is also open now, which is also great! I went with a few friends and definitely a place I will be visiting for that Brunch fix. I look for something different in a Cafe and they certainly have the classics but at the same time some creative fixes. The Service was amazing too.

  • Amirah Ali

Cozy, lively and inviting the service is nice and easy going and friendly and the food is actually good I went with my mum and sister for my bday today we got latte art I always wanted to try them I got the Blue lavender matcha, sis got a beetroot latte and mum got the turmeric gold latte but they're not overpowering nor caffeiniated too. I would come here again and I got a tuna conserva sandwich which was pretty good #NotpaidJustHonest ❤❤

This place is cozy and welcoming, and the decor is cute! I ordered a coconut lemonade (tastes like a Pina colada) and the Rustic Rice & Legumes bowl. It was delicious and filling, and the presentation was wonderful as well. They also leave their garage door open during the hot weather which allows for customers to stay cool. Overall, I recommend this place to visit. I know I will again!

I had takeaway but took a photo in the store. The avocado bagel is amazing! I was expecting to have a sandwich on wrap only so I was really surprised to see the presentation in the box! The taste is good, with a little bit of chilli flakes on, it's in the next level. The coffee is fine for me but I am hoping to try different types of coffee from them honestly. Staff are nice and helpful as well!

The bagels were okay. I was expecting a bit more because it sounded like that was their specialty. I had the Rye one and I didn't think it was freshly baked. The bowl was actually pretty good, I believe it was the Rice Power bowl and we added avocado. Lavender latte was okay.

It’s a unique place. This is my first time here. I had a lemonade and my friend had coffee both were delicious. The place is very cozy and suitable for work or study as they have many food choices that you can have while staying there. They have free wifi as well. Chairs and couches are very comfortable. The atmosphere and decor were nice too. I would come back. Also, the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Nice cafe / breakfast joint. My second visit and after having the artisanal grilled cheese sandwich, mushroom soup, coffee-cream filled croissant and a nice latte, I'm indebted to give the food a 5 star rating. Was contemplating whether to go here or few others in the vicinity and I'm glad I chose this restaurant over others. Highly recommend!
