"Been coming here since I was a baby"
"One of the best public outdoor playgrounds available in Adelaide with equipment including swings, slides, climbing equipment, spinners and flying fox"
"Spacious, but lots dogs roaming the park as well"
"It was a beautiful sunny day, to do Zumba in the park with Wendi"
"The tallest slippery dip is too hard to get to, 5 year old could only get up there by climbing the slide, not the vertical wall! Others were puzzled and disappointed too"
Been coming here since I was a baby. Toilet lights come on at night, family friendly, tennis coaching, tennis and bowling on the other side, two public courts and a basketball ring. Lots of great trees to climb with adult supervision and kindergarten. Great place for picnics too. Side note: isn't this place called kensington gardens reserve park or is that just around the playground
One of the best public outdoor playgrounds available in Adelaide with equipment including swings, slides, climbing equipment, spinners and flying fox. Lots of shade. Seats and barbeque facilities and public toilets. Adjacent to lots of open grass for running around and ball sports. Stonyfell Creek is beside the park so do supervise children when there's water in it.
Spacious, but lots dogs roaming the park as well. The play equipment is good. The bbq facilities are limited but plenty of greenery & leafy shade. Firefox has a seat which is handy for little ones. Climbing equipment, 2x swings, mini slide. Toilets near parking area. Parking is limited if tennis & oval is being used for events at the same time.
It was a beautiful sunny day, to do Zumba in the park with Wendi. Surrounded by this glorious park. The poles were being painted as we danced and I had to check them out after the class. Thanks to the Burnside Council for putting on this experience.
The tallest slippery dip is too hard to get to, 5 year old could only get up there by climbing the slide, not the vertical wall! Others were puzzled and disappointed too. Otherwise it was a really great playground, flying fox was really good.
One of the best publically free outdoor playgrounds available in Adelaide for kids. Public toilets available beside it. Green grass beside area. Water fountain for everyone to drink from. Variety of playground equipment. Plenty of shade if
Burnside Adventure Park is in the Kensington Gardens reserve. Stonefell Creek passes by it. The environment is very beautiful. More than a dozen kinds of children's entertainment facilities in this playground, along with many animal
Our kids loved it 5 kids aged from 10 to 14 years old all loved it they have a bbq, toilets, swings, slippery dip, double flying fox so you can have races beautiful green surrounding trees grass etc, one of the best we've been to.
Good playground, lots of green areas, a number of ovals. Good biking area, walking paths, picnic area. No shades, 1 bbq, a bit oldish playground. Overall okay, not superb. I will say it is good for sports. For picnic it's okay.
Beautiful park with many options of play equipments. Perfect place for a day out or a picnic. It has luscious big ground and play area for kids. Definitely one of the best parks in Adelaide. Kids can have so much fun.
This is a fantastic playground sports area, 2 or 3 large ovals. Cricket nets, tennis courts, 2 or 3 separate playground areas one newly refurbished. Clean toilets and BBQ scattered throughout.
A really nice park that offers multiple playgrounds, is great for kids, nice shade, and a creek. Very popular, but plenty of space to share. One of the better suburban Adelaide parks.
So much to do here. Play space for all ages- playgrounds, fitness corners, ovals, tennis courts, and oh bbqs! Probably, the most underrated all-in-one park in Adelaide.
Large park in middle of eastern suburbs. Eastern side sports park, eastern side plaground, picnic area. No set BBQs, but very clean. Dogs welcome but must be on leed.
Looked like a great playground in a beautiful bush like setting. Lots of natural shade and fun equipment. Plenty of bird life around to see like ducks and parrots.
Great park my only problem is its not gated and it has a few unsafe/ risk taking toddler features. Difficult with more than 1 child kinda park. Otherwise great
Very shady area with bbq and toilet facilities. Lots of space to run around, kick a ball, play tennis, and there's a flying fox. Great place to take the kids.
Kids loved this park, Hazlewood Park is full of majestic old growth gum trees. The playground has a flying fox and a wheelchair swing for disabled kids
Spent time at the playground space. Enjoyed the flying fox and climbing structure and watch watching dogs roam around the large free range area.
This park is exceptional because of how close it is to our place. Decently maintained playground, lots of picnic benches and a nearby dog park
Beautiful park, full of native birds. Very peaceful. A great place for a picnic, play tennis or even throw a Frisbee for your beloved canine
Great little playground. Suitable for bigger toddlers and up. BBQ, lots of space to run, kick a ball, picnic. Lovely nature. Stinky loos :)
Nice playground good selection of equipment, plenty of room for the kids to run around, toilets close by and numerous benches and tables.
Sweet-as park this one, great playgrounds, nice little creek, tennis courts, footy, soccer if you can't do it here it's not worth doing
AWESOME PLACE FOR THE KIDS! I couldnt get my 7yo off the flying foxes it I tried....I had to wait until they tired themself out...lol.
Amazing park lots of things for the little kids to do. And lets parest relax while there children are having the time of there life
Beautiful shady park with a variety of trees.Good playground, toilets, seating areas and BBQ.Drive in and park close to playground
No shade cloth so equipment was very hot on a sunny day. Would be ok if you are there for a picnic, where there is natural shade
Very nice playground... but 1 of 2 flying foxes broken, and tallest slide can only be accessed by 'rock wall' - strange
It has a basketball court, few tennis courts, and a lot of stuff to play such as flying Fox, well equipped playground.
Such a great family park. Clean toilets, BBQ facilities, picnic benches. Lots of grassed areas for a run around too.
A happy spot to bring the grandkids. It would be better if all the equipment was shaded, so avoid in peak summer.
Barbecue facilities, flying fox, swings slides, toilets and more. Popular place for a kids birthday party.
Kids enjoyed their time there. Only critism was the lack of dustbins in the general picnic areas... …
It is a very nice and peaceful place. Wide and flat green areas and very nice playground for kids to play
Great parks and playgrounds. Really old spectacular gun trees The toilet facilities are gross sadly
Good size park. Could do with more activities. Only 2 swings, and one of them is for the disable.
Great upgrade. Don’t really want to say it’s too good cause then everyone one will come …
Plenty of space and things to do, people could control their dogs/muts a bit better.
Great park. Flying fox awesome but be wary of faces meeting ropes at high velocity.
Great, but why Burnside Adventure Park when it's always been Kensington Gardens AP.
an unreal park for all kids. the flying foxes were the the highlight for the kids
A large park with a great play area. A great place for children and families.
Flying fox a hit with 9&10yo. Swings slides a hit with 2yo. Wheelchair swing.
Very kid friendly, lots of shade, Burnside Rugby Club right across the park.
Pet friendly, kid friendly plenty of sports on weekends, just a great park!
