Excellent staff, the breakfast egg & cheese biscuit w/ the Cliff option was delicious...sorry no picture, I couldn't wait to eat it. The Eclairs are the best I have ever eaten! The rhubarb muffin, also delicious. Prices reflect quality of food. Food and staff are awesome, check it out for yourself and make sure to get an Eclair.

This place is VERY expensive for bad food. Four dollars for a cup of black coffee. We ordered two bowls of flavorless Squash soup, two black coffees, and two hot chocolates total was almost $40.00. we had to doctor up the soup just to make it tolerable. The owner did reach out and refund our money for the soups. More

I love Butter's mission and atmosphere. They're a no-tipping establishment that offers affordable delicious meals in house or on compostable or reusable take away dishes. I'm most often there for their cold brew, tea, or brunch. On my most recent visit with my dogs, they each got the kids egg island which they loved

A great place to relax with friends over delicious food. The vibe was fun and the food was delicious. Their policies also reflect a caring attitude; they have a no-tip paradigm (instead setting prices for a fair wage), and they offer reusable mugs and whatnot to borrow and then return later to reduce waste.

I got an eclaire and a latte here about a week and a half ago. the eclaire was delicious & the coffee was good (i forgot to ask for oatmilk & im lactose intolerant, but the flavor was definitely there). super laid back vibes & seems like a really community oriented business. More

I love butter! This is one of my favorite coffee shops, I feel very welcomed there. The coffee and pastries are excellent and there are plenty of healthy and vegetarian options for lunch like lentil soup and kale salad. They have a welcoming space for little ones as well. More

Great little corner bakery / cafe that serves up good pastries and desserts. Their prices include tax, so what you see is the price you pay! This shop supports locally sourced vendors and really has a family type vibe to it. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

The best lemon bar I've ever tasted. The staff is friendly and I love seeing the fair wages being worked into prices already. I walk here with my dog a fair bit too enjoy coffee outside and a snack. I love everything about the store. Can't wait to try the ice cream.

Your friendly neighborhood bakery! Great spot on Nicollet to grab breakfast or lunch. Staff is friendly and kind, food is responsible, fresh and delicious. Can get busy on the weekend mornings. Breakfast burrito is a consistent staple. …

Homemade chai!! And it's fantastic and not overly sweet at all!! They make a great latte. Also, they have a lower caffeinated red tea version. Ten stars for the chai alone, but five more for the bakery items, the beautiful sun filled space,

Breakfast burrito and veggie omelette were both very bland and overpriced. I like that they use local, sustainable ingredients, but is it still sustainable if you throw most of it away because it doesn't taste good? No thanks, won't be back.

I only gave this restaurant three stars because the staff there was very nice! The food was subpar in fact quite ridiculous for the amount that it cost. They build the tip into the cost so I ended up spending $23 for two eggs that were not

Desserts are always a treat, but they didn’t stick the landing this time. For some reason, the bacon for my brother and I ended up borderline burnt. I like it more crispy vs fatty, but I’m pretty sure nobody likes brick bacon. I’m talking

What a cool spot! This cafe is community-centered and great for meetups. The atmosphere is bright and engaging and the menu is quality. They serve food and drinks in actual dishware of plates and mugs. They are well-staffed, but the wait

This cafe serves fair trade coffee and is a Social Benefit Corporation working to end youth homelessness. I had a good BLT and banana bread here as well as a tasty coffee. Great community and family friendly atmosphere here and they use

A cozy place to gather with friends! Love the coffee and baked goods. The eclairs are famous. Try the Clint-style breakfast sandwich with avocado, garlic mayo, and sprouts on a fresh biscuit — my favorite! Recently recognized as best

Some confusion on our order. My friend had to wait on their food. I personally didn't feel the lady that took our order was dressed appropriately, too much middrift showing. Food ok. One staff did apologized for the mixup.

Unique place, in a culturally rich area of town. Smoothly was fantastic and well prepared. Scone was a dry, and as such, not a lot of taste. Welcoming vibe with plenty of seating and seemed to be a great gathering spot

  • Andrea Hannem

Good food. Love the concept (tax and tip worked into the prices, order at the counter) chili bean sauce of the burrito was good. Large portion sizes, we could have split one breakfast burrito. Nice staff.

Could you clarify the pricing on the eggs only option like the other menu items? I was told veggies are extra, but they are "already mixed in". Meat pricing is not listed although I assume it is extra.

Had the opportunity to visit earlier in 2023 and have been looking forward to going again. Food was great. Good service. Just a cozy spot with a good vibe. Definitely deserves checking out! More

Delicious baked goods and coffee. This place is a vibe, it's giving art studio aesthetic. Great community asset. Keep on slaying, Butter Bakery !

Love it here! Been a fan since they were on Grand Ave. Consistently good food and service. And I suggest indulge in their tea list while you’re here.

"You can never have too much butter - that is my belief. If I have a religion, that's it.." ~ Nora Ephron Good food. Good service. Good vibes.

  • Ken Sanborn

Food was great and the portion size was enough to leave me stuffed, even with leftovers. Along with that, the service was friendly and quick.

  • Jacob Tapia

For lunch — Chicken noodle soup and a mixed greens side salad. Food - A savory soup with plenty of veggies and chicken. The mixed greens

A little too much buck for not a lot of bang. Very cute and nice place, food was pretty okay, but our coffee was barely drinkable.

  • Comstock

great baked goods, and just what I was looking for in terms of a cafe to set up and do a bit of work in.

  • William Yang

The cheesecakes were delicious! You can't go wrong with any of the options.

  • Marcos Mendonça Carvalho

Matcha latte and breakfast burrito were so good!!
