Dear Foreigners/ Locals, I chose this rental service because one of my Italian friends recommended it (but he did not realise that the owner had changed 2 years ago). I advise you to STAY AWAY from this rental service, especially foreigners (if you do not want to receive a speeding fine after 6 months when you didn't even have the car at the time). This rental service is a professional scammer. First of all, your car will not be ready on time. We were supposed to pick up our car in the morning, but they postponed it to lunchtime then it got pushed to 6.30 pm. Second, they say we'll give you an upgrade because of this inconvenience. It's not free. When we arrived, they asked for an extra charge (100 EUR more). They will also say, there is no other car than this one, so to leave you with no option. We finally managed to collect the car after 7 pm (after this first scam). A few weeks ago, we received a speeding fine of over 1,000 EUR claiming that we sped on a motorway at 13:23 on 24/12/2022. We collected our car after 7 pm that day so it clearly wasn't us, yet this rental service shared our driver's details intentionally to cover their mistake. They also did not let us know about the fine before we officially received the letter via post. If you are not good at Italian, stay away from this service. Once you receive a fine, you'll have to make an appeal to the Prefect in Italian with all evidence, which takes a lot of effort, time and money. We tried to communicate with the rental service, but they will pretend they didn't receive your emails, they tell you we don't have to worry, don't have to pay the penalty and don't have to do anything (only over the phone). They tell you they will give you updates (only over the phone). They won't and don't do anything. What they tell you is completely opposite of what the local police in Italy tell you to do. DO NOT TRUST THEM. They are professional scammers and fraudsters. Si prega di non utilizzare questo servizio. Non fidarti di loro. Ci sono truffatori professionali. Ho ricevuto un'infrazione per alta velocità (oltre 1000 EUR) con errore formale (dati errati del conducente). L'infrazione per alta velocità è stata registrata alle 13:23 del 24 dicembre 2022; tuttavia a quell’ora, non stavo guidando perché non avevo ancora la macchina. Il servizio di noleggio, C-rent (Via Vicenza, 8A, Roma), mi aveva detto che, causa un ritardo, la mia macchina non era ancora arrivata al servizio di noleggio e quindi non avrei più potuto ritirare la mia macchina al mattino: infatti, sono rimasto in attesa di ritirare la mia macchina dal servizio di noleggio fino alle 18:30 del 24 dicembre 2022. Avendo parlato con C-rent (Via Vicenza, 8A, Roma) mi è stato riferito che questa infrazione non è un problema e quindi non devo fare niente. Tuttavia C-rent non mi ha confermato se hanno scritto a mia discolpa e non mi hanno mai spiegato perché i miei dati sono stati inviati alla polizia, quando sapevano che, al momento dell’infrazione, non avevo ancora noleggiato la loro macchina.

Incredible experience renting a Fiat 500e from Pietro at C Rent. After reading a lot of reviews of other car rental places around Rome and seeing all the negative experiences, I was very worried about what I was getting myself into. Because it was the peak of summer, most car rental places were out of automatic cars, I was ready to rent a manual but it had been years since I last drove one and I wasn’t prepared to do that again on Italian roads. I found C rent and their positive reviews made me hopeful. Pietro was absolutely incredible. He was able to sort out a Fiat 500e (electric) car because I would have definitely struggled with a manual. He even took it to a car wash before I picked it up. Since it was my first time driving an electric car in Rome, he even drove me to a charging station and showed me how to use it. Since I was driving close to 120 km out of the city, he worked out the distances, range and the charging station locations so I wouldn’t be stuck. While on my journey, I had a few questions and he was always available via WhatsApp and was extremely helpful. On the way back I had to get to the airport right after dropping the car off and was going to take a taxi. He went above and beyond and me a ride to airport on his break because taxis were busy. We had a great conversation about life in Italy, and much more. His English was good enough for a conversation and when we needed help, Siri came in handy! What an incredible experience driving in Italy in an electric fiat all thanks to Pietro. I look forward to renting from him again. Pietro, you’re the man!

Дамата от която взехме автомобил под наем, /фиат панда/, беше изключително любезна, НО след като върнах автомобила в гаража, където ни каза да го върнем !!! на следващия ден след обяд, получих известие от банката, че са ми удържани 500 евро. Веднага и се обадих да разбера защо ми удържат 500 евро, любезната дама "любезно" обясни, че съм счупил ключа на колата и затова. Това е пълен ъпсурт, колата е върната непокътната. След няколко разговора по телефона, спря да вдига и връзката с нея приключи. В този момент, бях минал проверката на летището и нямаше как да се върна и да се разберем очи в очи. Изпратила ми е снимка, и твърди, че ключалката на шофьорската врата е счупена, аз даже не съм я ползвал, колата се отключва и заключва с дистанционното ;-) Да отбележа, че към цената за наем, съм платил допълнително застраховка в размер на 20 евро. !!! Изкарах една страхотна седмица в Рим, но след тази неприятна случка оставам с лош спомен. !!! ВНИМАВАЙТЕ !!! Съветвам всички пострадали да подадат в сайта на Европейската комисия жалби.

They made a mistake on our booking- we wanted to pick up in Rome and return it in Naples airport with an airport transfer, all specified on the booking form via Discover Cars; however when they wrote on the paperwork in Rome (not that interested and was surprised when we pointed out we were going to Naples) they gave us the wrong car rental office (not the airport one) in Naples, resulting us being stranded 40 minutes from the airport with a plane to catch. They also tried the old trick of charging for extra cleaning and were really unpleasant when we refused. The car smelt strongly of cigarettes when we picked it up (none of us smoke) and the man in the office basically accused me of lying when I said it smelled of smoke!! I would never use them again, they were absolutely appalling- and us with a disabled son, to make matters worse. Thank goodness for Google and a local firm, but it resulted in us paying an extra 75 euros for the transfer. Avoid at all costs.

DO NOT USE this c rent company. At the first time, they were trying to be quick with their responses before booking, but when we tried to collect the car from them, they kept changing the time with collecting and when we were at the rental shop, they have not got the car which we needed, plus they said they would upgrade the car (which we had to pay more. There was no choice) because they did not have the car. This was already scamming the customers and was unprofessional. Secondly, it is been 6 months after coming back from Rome, the police sent a fine letter, which was speed penalty which we DIDNOT even do! And the time that they got caught was the time we did not have the car at all. We tried to contact them, they said they would reply to us but they never did and ignored our emails. For foreigners and who travels to Rome DO Not Trust this car rental and try to use somewhere else.

I just used C Rent to drive from Rome to Sulmona for a weekend. It was very easy to get the car (I did pre-pay online) and also very easy to return the car. I don’t speak Italian at all but the lady at the reception was very nice. I will definitely use this place again! Also I found it online and was one of very few car rental places with good reviews. Thank you for making my experience very easy!! 5 stars all the way!! Oh as it is a small place with one person working, plan on waiting a bit in case there are a few others there at the same time. Amazing experience with Pietro! Very professional, responsive and friendly. We booked a car with another guy in Rome and he was very unprofessional and obliged us to rent a certain car though we booked before traveling by one month! And after arriving to Rome he said the car isn’t available! so we checked on google and we found C rent and thanks God it went that way so that we got to know Pietro! The car was super smooth and good and the price was so reasonable! Very recommended! Thanks Pietro

This is a horror what happened to us at your place. It's a shame that we organize everything, come in the morning, wait an hour for someone to show up, and at the end you tell us that you don't have a seat for babie and that we can travel without a seat. While you said earlier that you have a seat and we have agreed on everything. Because of your unprofessionalism, we didn't go on the trip, shame on you!

Great car rental! They are elastic and super helpful. Both debit and credit card can be used. Did not block any deposit. Nice lady offered to upgrade from Citroen C3 to new Škoda Superb for only 10€ which was much more comfortable for trip to Piza. I recommend this small, private company to any one who plans on renting a car in Rome

I rented a small car for a couple of weeks and I had a wonderful experience with the company. The car was new, clean and fully functional. The price was excellent, way lower than a bigger rental. Also they didn't try to sell useless services or oversized insurances. Recommend business for who wants to travel Italy by car.

I do not recommend. Without information, I was charged for an extra day even though I returned the car on time. Lack of professionalism - they ask you to leave your keys in a nearby supermarket and then charge you extra.
