USE THIS COMPANY!! If I could give them 100 stars, I would. Do yourself a favor, and don't make the mistake that I made. I locked myself out of my apartment in Chicago at 8pm on a Sunday night. Luckily, I had my phone with me, so I looked up locksmith's in the city. I called the first one I saw (I won't name names, but it was a national company). They told me that someone would be to my place within 15-25 minutes. Long story short, I waited an 1.5 hours (with many return calls) and never got a call from a Locksmith. I started calling around to other places & left a message for Chitown Lock. They called me back within 5 minutes & had Ken at my door in 25 minutes. The other company (that I waited 2 hours for & tried canceling) decided to show up at the same time. Ken knew how to handle things, and we sent them away. He got into my apartment with no damage to my door in less than a minute. I could not be more thankful for the how quickly and professionally they were able to handle things.

My husband lost our key last night, our one and only key. I made several calls to different locksmiths & I had a few who asked me if I was sure on the type of key I needed. Some who were trying to charge me $350 & more plus a $100 to come & open the vehicle. (Mind you I have a Kia NOT a luxury vehicle) That’s that I even offered to just pick it up to save that additional $100. I called my dealer & finance company in hope that they got a spare & nothing. These places made me feel skeptical & when I called Chitown Locksmiths, my worries withered away. I Called & JR was extremely helpful, was detailed to what he does & I got the best price for my key. He came made me a new key in less then 20 minutes & I couldn’t be any happier. My mind was & is at peace. Thank you for such excellent service, you all definitely rock. I had a terrible experience with a company I called, 24 Hr Locksmith. They wanted to charging me over 1,000 to change a lock. Because I did not agree with their price, they purposely destroyed my lock. Locking my tenants out. Chitown Lock was on time, explained the problem and fix it right away. They charges me a reasonable price. Locksmith was pleasant, knowledgeable and very friendly. I will never call anyone else to do any work for me. Chitown is the company to call without them ripping you off. Excellent service and work well done. Thank you. P.S. save yourself time and money, do not call anyone else.

JR recently helped us re-key a 3 flat to have a master key system. He was great to work with from start to finish. He's easy to talk to, explains his prices clearly as well as your options, and is good at communicating promptly. He planned to come out just for an estimate but since we'd talked previously, we ended up just doing the work that day. I appreciated his flexibility in helping us get the work done in the timeframe we were looking for. He is a skilled technician who has a fully service work van. His prices were also very fair and some of the most reasonable we encountered after getting quotes.

any hand risen against this man shall fall ! i was hopeless, desolate, desperate, locked out of my car. unanswered calls for help to multiple locksmiths and services....every cry unanswered until Chitown Lock. In the final hour of my parking garage being opened, risk of towing, hundreds of dollars and time to retrieve it, broken down and gambling with breaking the window, I made one final call to this man. Not only did he answer, he prioritized my need for services. Answered quickly, arrived quickly, kept me in the loop via phone call. 100/10 service. Extremely grateful. Bless up to this guy frfr

I was worried getting a replacement key with a chip would be a huge headache and a million calls and thankfully my insurance worked with this company to make this an easy process for me! He arrived within an hour and half and he got straight to work. It took him about 30 minutes and he was very nice and friendly. I'm so relieved this was easy, fast and decent priced car compared to other Chicago locations! I will def tell my friends and family about Chi-Town Locks!

When I called they assigned someone to me in less then 20 min and Ken arrived within 30 min. So really was waiting less than an hour for someone to show up. Ken was so swift/fast about it, very professional and didn't even break any of my locks to get back inside my place. 10/10 would recommend for anyone. God forbid I'm ever locked out of my place again but if I ever am I know exactly who I'm calling. Thanks guys !!

JR sent a technician within two days. The technician spent 4 hours to repair my car's ignition, because the key couldn't turn. I drive a 2017 VW Jetta. He removed the pin and a small piece of metal after taking off the steering wheel housing. It was a hot, sunny day and he worked hard. Cost of job was $650, but I called 20 locksmiths and only they could do it. Thank you!

Great experience. Quote was much less than other locksmiths and car dealership. The dealership told me It would take approx 1-2 hours to cut key & program. JR came to my house and was done within 10 mins. I was pleasantly surprised and very grateful!!! Very professional & courteous! Definitely RECOMMEND his services, trust me you won't be disappointed. Well unfortunately I got locked out of my old truck and made a call to Chitown Lock LLC, they showed up as soon as they could get to me (less than 30 minutes) and had my truck unlocked within 5 minutes. Not even the smallest scratch was left from the whole process. I highly recommend Chitown Lock to anyone who locks their keys in the car like I did.

Incredible response and service. Realized I didn’t have my keys. Called and the response time was less than 20 minutes after I called to the time it took for one of the locksmiths (Ken) to show up and the door was unlocked without being damaged in a matter of 15 seconds. Great experience and highly recommend!

Walked 20 minutes here only to find out they are no longer at this location, the advertisement is on the door of a nail salon and the workers of the nail salon stated they are no longer at this location. Should probably remove an address on google maps if you are no longer located there, pretty disappointing.

AWESOME!!!!! Experience.lost motorcycle key, other places gave me the run around or couldn't guarantee that the key would work for my motorcycle JR came and within 15 minutes got me a key for my bike and i was ready to go! AWESOME GUY! AWESOME EXPERIENCE! He made it very convenient for me, i would recommend.

Awesome service, and fast! Great customer service. It was 11:30 pm and I needed a car key made immediately, i called multiple locksmiths and they all said they couldn't go at that time. And I called Chitown locks & Keys and got here in 20 minutes! The best key service I'll say, and for a good price.

I needed a new key made for my motorcycle since the only one I received upon purchase went missing. JR was able to come out to my location within a few hours and was able to get a new key cut within the hour. He was quick and professional. I will be recommending him to others.

My girlfriends daughter does not have the best judgment when it comes to men. Faster than you can say "restraining order", JR came out, changed the locks, and installed deadbolts and peepholes, on very short notice and at a reasonable price.

Jr is a BEAST!! Came to my house when I needed a new key for my car and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. Highly recommend! I even ended up getting a 2nd car done and he came back the next day with no problem. Great affordable prices!!

Excellent customer service! Super friendly with a great price! The job had some unexpected roadblocks but JR handled them smoothly. He always stays as long as he needs to with any job. He is honest and reliable! Highly recommended!

Called and they picked up right away. The lock ended up opening while I was talking to them, but the guy was willing to show up right away. Should I need their service again I’ll definitely call them first.
