Horribly slow and absolutely no regard for customers’ time. My doc called me at 4:00 to confirm that they had called in the inhalers I need since I just tested positive for Covid. Waited 25 mins in the drive thru for them to tell me they hadn’t received it. Then they said they had a voicemail and to go wait in the parking lot for 30-60 mins and they would text me when it was ready. After 60 mins and no text I got back in the drive thru line and waited another 30 mins to get up to the window. They told me they still had not received it and that the other window girl told me they would text me if they got it (she explicitly told me to wait in the parking lot while they filled it). Overall I spent about two hours waiting and never received my life saving medicine nor an apology for the first girl incorrectly telling me to wait (this girl also suggested I wait inside… I said “with Covid?!”) Hopefully I do not die of Covid tonight in my sleep because I didn’t have my inhaler. I will be transferring all of my prescriptions and I hope everyone else does too. This place is not equipped to act as a distributor of lifesaving supplies.
I am writing this review as both a physician and a customer. It is actually the first review I’ve written online in my entire life. I am pretty easy-going, and had a practice of my own, and I know how difficult things can be, which is why I would be reluctant to leave a negative review. However, at this particular pharmacy, I would say that about 20% of the time things have gone smoothly. (I would say 92% would be the minimum for such important transactions). And of that 20%, half of the time my service was with a nasty attitude. As a doctor, they have told me that I did not call in my own prescription, while at the same time filling another prescription that I left on the very same voicemail ! Anytime I try to find out what happens, I get nastiness back, even though the error belongs to them. And not one time did they ever apologize. Looking at the reviews of this place, I can see that I am not alone in my feelings. I’m changing to a CVS that is actually further from my home, but I still feel that that will be more efficient.
Horrible, slow, malfunctioning pharmacy drive thru. The woman who worked the drive thru at lunchtime today needs to knock back a few double shots of espresso before she returns to work because I have never in my life seen someone move so slow! Everytime I visit, the service seems to get worse and worse. Get her off of that drive thru and replace her with someone with a bit of motivation. The customers who visit that time of day are are likely using their lunch hour and are using their ENTIRE lunch hour waiting in the line (like I did today!) because you've stuck an employee in that spot who needs help! Let your staff know that from 11am to 2pm is HUSTLE TIME!!! (Pep in your step!) We don't need print outs of 35 pages of trash pharmacy literature and ads! We don't need her to count each page! We just want to complete our transaction and GTFOT ASAP! PLEASE IMPROVE!!!
I see quite a few negative reviews about the CVS I'm not sure as to why. I go in ther almost every day after work. Ahmed always greets me with a smile and asks if there's anything he can help me find. I greatly appreciate it! Tiff Is also very polite and helpful, i had a question about making a return with out my reciept and she informedme they could look it up by my Debit card YAY!! I've only had to go to the pharmacy twice since I've been here and didnt have any issues. I just moved here from Orlando, Florida. And I'm telling you, the staff here is the nicest and most helpful than any other CVS ive been to and I've been going to CVS for about 20 years. I came in one day looking for a plunger, they weren't any in the shelves but Maya went in back to see if there were any in the back. Unfortunately there weren't at lol !
I had my first COVID vaccine here a few days ago. Despite the bad reviews about employees, they were all so kind and friendly to me. If you’re on time for your scheduled appointment, testing goes pretty smoothly. They set up a table at the entrance where you can check in and verify your appointment. (You’ll save time if you check in online, they send you a text prior to your appointment, click the link and you’re done) Once you pass this step, you will find yourself on the line, which is 5 people the max. The nurses/doctors are very helpful. After the vaccination you’ll need to stay in the waiting area at least for 15 minutes so that they can monitor you in case something goes wrong. This entire process takes less than 30 minutes which is great. I appreciate all healthcare workers.
Tried to get my prescription filled for over 2 weeks and all that they told me was that they had to "special order" the brand. Which is fine, but even that shouldn't take two weeks. I finally decided to call my doctor to see if she could just switch my prescription for me to generic or any other type of brand, and when my doctor called me back she informed me that the CVS said that I had "refused any other brand" than the one that they had to order. This was entirely untrue, as I was never even given the option of getting a different brand? All they ever told me was that they had to order my prescription special and that it was on back order. So I was off of my medication and feeling awful for about 2.5 weeks. Very unhelpful/awful pharmacy.
I will never be going to this CVS ever again. I had a prescription ordered that should’ve been ready in 30 mins. When I went to pick it up they said it was out of stock and to come back tomorrow morning to get it. When I still didn’t hear about it until the next day at 6:45pm, I called and they said it would be ready in 15 mins, giving me an hour to get there before they closed. I got there right before 8:00pm and was at the counter ready to get my prescription when they told me they were closed. Right at 8:00pm when they only gave me an hour to get there, 48 hours past when my prescription should’ve been ready. Horrible customer service.
I was asked to leave my bags up front as I walked in from doing my errands which I do on foot. I had two bags, a designer backpack and a bag of groceries. The woman at the front counter told me I had to leave both up front despite my making it clear I was looking for one thing and so my backpack would be staying with me. Both the backpack and grocery bag were full of food. She was immediately rude and let me know I would not be able to shop there today. If i hadn’t been so put off by her rudeness I would have asked for her information however the entire store is going in the “Do not Return »
The worst pharmacy ever , called them about my prescription, they told me it’s gonna be ready in 2 hours, come to a pharmacy in 2 hours- it’s not ready, can u wait for 15 min? Sure. Waiting. Asked again where is my medication? Response-it’s in a truck and we are not gonna unload it for next couple of days… well ok thanks for WASTING MY TIME. Come back in a couple of days, waited in a line for 10 min… still didn’t get my prescription because they didn’t accept my insurance, and they had a lunch break in 10 minutes and they didn’t want to deal with me , so thanks again for WASTING MY TIME
The CVS in Huntersville on Sam Furr Rd and Catawba has always been a great store for us. We moved away and transferred our prescriptions to another location due to distance. This pharmacy really came through for me today with a common but difficult to find dose of medication! Plus, I got my usual CVS brand Diphenhydramine hydrochloride 25mg capsule. They don't disappoint. A lot of other pharmacies did not have the medication. The pharmacist is always friendly and the technicians were helpful with answering questions.
Drove up here for a covid test since the last place canceled my test results. One car in front of me. I get to the front after about 3 minutes and the lady tells me, they ran out of test and that I can come back in 2 hours. This place hardly looked busy. So I guess they didn't realize they were getting short on test. I just think it was to close to lunch. I can't go anywhere for a test. I need to know already!! CVS is just not helping during this covid annoyance. If I have it oh well....thanks again CVS!
"Worst Experience of Customer Service" CVS Pharmacist Dawn was extremely rude & disrespectful to me. She made a mistake, didn't apologize, & then threatened "to meet me" in the parking lot to discuss the matter further. I am very disappointed as I have been a customer at this pharmacy for @ 5 years & have never been treated so poorly. The manger repeatedly apologized for Dawn's behavior. I will pursue this matter with CVS Corporate. Dawn, in my opinion, lacks ethics, manners, professionalism, & training.
Worst customer service. People are not friendly and the pharmacist is rude. Was told my prescription would be ready this morning at 8 when they open. I get there at 8 and I was told they were out of stock. I told them what I was told and they said it could be ready at 9 and they don’t tell anyone 8 cause that’s when they open. But wait I thought they were out of stock.. no communication or sense of urgency. They are impossible to get on the phone and take forever at the drive thru.
Poor service. They dont answer phones and even hung up when asked how to get the cvs app for phone. Medicine services are also poor. They have notified me of a medicine to pick up but it wasn't available when I went. This has happened several times. Pharmacists last only a few months before quitting, so it seems to be a new one almost every time I go. Erratic service is the consequence. I would shift to a different store if only there was another one nearby.
Went to take a new Rx to the window since this CVS was more convenient for me and all of my information was listed; exactly what the recording told me to present. Clerk was extremely rude and said there were cars behind me so I have to come in because she didn't "have time to type all of my information in." I guess my business wasn't as important as the cars behind me so I left. I will stick with Publix from now on. This CVS lost a customer.
I am writing this review to let others know about this CVS. You can never get anyone to answer the phone in the pharmacy. I call and am placed on automatic hold everytime. I have to physically go into try and have a question answered by anyone in the pharmacy. That is putting my life and anyone else's life in danger that has prescription questions. I even see them ignoring the phone call alerts over the PA. This is uncalled for.
Pharmacy closes at 7. Pulled up behind a car in line prior to 7. I pulled up to the window after the car in front of me left and the pharmacist closed the window before I could get there. I pulled around and went in. 3 techs were standing there and one of them very rudely said we’re closed. I explained that I had waited outside, and he said, “No you didn’t. We open at 8.” Horrible customer service, if you ask me.
Pharmacy staff is incompetent. There’s zero accountability. They’ll tell you one thing on the phone, come into the store and it’s “I don’t know who told you that, it’s incorrect. Who’d you speak to?” Like I’m supposed to know who answered the phone earlier that day gtfo. Also when I called the technician asked me if I was [some other patients name] which is surely a HIPAA violation
Was sick last night, went to the back by the pharmacy to get what I needed. Then went to check out at the pharmacy, bc was right there, and was told to go to the front to check out. I literally picked what I needed up 10 ft from the register. The lady just did not want to do her job. They have lost a customer for life. May they go under an a Walgreens open in its place.
The worst. Was told my insurance only paid a certain amount.... in actuality they didn't cover it at all. Talking on the phone and the person hung up on me mid sentence. I called back to let her know I was still talking and she said " yeah and I said it's on back order". Completely rude.
Pharmacists act mean & annoyed. Never explain how to use medications just shove them at you and make you sign documenting something they didnt do. At first I had empathy bc I know so much stress with covid. Now, just troubled by how mean these people are. They need some type of training
Do not go there to use your cvs rewards/deals. The manager does not have any clue how to run the store. She is very rude and disrespectful. Aside from that store will close and open whenever they feel like it. Not accurate with the time posted online and outside their store.
This store closes at anytime they want. Today is August 14th & it is 10:30pm and it is completely closed when the hours say it closes at 11pm. This is not the first time it has happened. They close whenever they want. They need to be more staffed or regulate these hours.
drive-through can be incredibly slow. last time i went (which was months ago right before switching to a different cvs for my prescriptions), the bathroom was disgusting and completely out of soap and toilet paper. pretty disturbing, considering it’s a pharmacy...
Older lady was being rude to everyone. Called out a couple (black) for absolutely nothing. Like if she was assuming they were doing something. Whom ever the manager is needs to see my comment and train accordingly. This was Sunday, April 2nd at 5:45 pm
Really kind women working here today, but I'm super disappointed in the photo printing process. There are random ink streaks throughout almost all of my photos, and I know it's the machine because the streaks are different on copies. I can't use these.
waiting at the drive through to just pick up my meds on the way to work... i’ve been waiting in the same space for almost ten minutes now. there’s only 2 cars in front of me, and now 3 in back. pick up the place please, people have places to be
The attitudes of those working in the pharmacy are beyond diabolical they all need to either find a new occupation where they aren’t working with people or get trained better. I will never go to this location to get any prescription filled!
Trash CVS. Bought something then went across the street. When I came back car was booted. When I showed my receipt that I was a costumer, I was told, “one you leave the store, you’re no longer a customer.” Never going to CVS ever again. ✌️
Terrible customer service. Drive anywhere else to get your medication. I ended up not getting the medication prescribed for an injury because it wasn’t worth the hassle of trying a third time to pick it up. I’d rather deal with the pain.
This place is horrible, they never follow their store hours. Yes come here multiple times and they haven’t been open when they are supposed to be. They are literally closed now when they are supposed to be open until 11.
There should be zero negative reviews for this pharmacy. Always polite and professional. If you are using any other pharmacy in Plaza. You are overpaying. These guys are the best!!! Should be 5.0 in my opinion!!
I usually only leave positive reviews but this CVS has horrible pharmacy customer service. They need more staff and more experienced staff. These techs seem to be right out of school or students.
The decor and weird parking entrance leaves something to be desired, but anytime I pick up my meds the staff is ALWAYS nice and efficient (even when they are obviously overwhelmed or tired).
the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced for at max two minute interactions. being “short staffed” is not an excuse. this has been going on for YEARS at this particular location.
If I could give this location 0 stars I would. Don’t try to print here or you’ll get the “ice cream machine is broken” response about picking up your prints.
CVS pharmacy takes half the time Walgreens does to fill a prescription. I’ve waited an hour and a half at Walgreens, meanwhile, CVS is done in 30 minutes...
I arrived at 8:05 am on a Saturday at the CVS on Pecan Ave. While the pharmacy was supposed to be open at 8 am, when I left at 8:20, it was still closed.
Been coming here for years. The pharmacy staff is dysfunctional and RUDE at best. Nothing is ever ready when it's supposed to be and they don't care.
If your hours say you open at 8, open at 8. Waiting in the parking lot for an employee to roll in at 8:07 is not a great use of a customer’s time.
Staff are apathetic, stock is always empty or stacked in crates, bathrooms are generally deplorable at best. This was on a good day.
Please fix the hours on google maps. It’s insane to drive all the way over here and the store is closed - wasting my gas!!
The WORST CVS. Avoid it if you can. Slowest drive through, they are rude and don’t care if it’s the longest wait.
Can you please update your business hours on google to be correct? Says you open at 7am - that is not true :)
Says open but isn’t. Edit: NEW YEAR 2023 AND STILL NEVER OPENS ON TIME EVER, WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD
Just go to a pharmacy somewhere else, not worth the time or struggle. All the other reviews are true!
Stores not open when its 36 min past opening time. Its a freaking pharmacy?!?! How is this possible.
CVS had everything you need for an out of town stay. Really perfects the convenience store vibe
I was there for my first COVID vaccination. Every employee was kind and professional.
Online it says you’re open right now. Just walked to the store and it’s closed.
Avoid this pharmacy AT ALL COSTS... go to one of the other nearby CVS stores.
Tasha was very helpful and professional to me and the customers in lines.
Business hours are wrong. I was there 7:20am and the store wasn't opened.
It says it's open but no one is there sat out there 45 minutes SMH
I picked up a greeting card for my Grandson and his new wife.
Rude pharmacy staff, avoid this place and go somewhere else.
The staff was nice, but this place needs a little TLC.
Kind employees, clean and organized shelves!
Rude staff, difficult to get in and out of
Nothing eventful which is a good thing.
BEWARE, The pharmacist was very rude.
Tiffany is very kind and helpful!
