The pharmacy has the most rude and laziest employees, I went in there to pick up a prescription, the lady asked if I had a new insurance card, I handed it to her, after 10 mins of standing there the lady comes back and says my insurance card expired on the 31st, I automatically new that was a lie because I just got the card in the mail a few weeks ago, so I went ahead and paid out of pocket for my prescriptions, soon as I got in my car I called my insurance provider and told them the situation, they automatically verified my information and told me my card was active, but here’s the good part, they didn’t even see where they even tried to run my insurance. So I went back in the store to the pharmacy, and handed the girl my card told her I have my insurance provider on the phone and they don’t even see where you even attempted to run the insurance she went back to here computer then went back to another computer we’re another co worker was talking to her the same one she went to the first time, a few mins later she come back issuing me a refund talking about the information on the card is different then something they have, but the funny thing is my insurance provider went over everything with me that should have been on the card and it was all right, and literally as soon as they ran it my insurance provider on the phone was telling me they did and even the cost. She was mind blown like me. They lied never even tried to run the insurance, she handed me a recipient to sign, put my change on top of the recipient thing and walked away, no apology no nothing.

Zeroooo stars. I’m going to change my medicine by mail order. I have never seen a pharmacy dispute your prescriptions so much. I was on hold for 1 1/2 hr i waited on purpose to take a screen shot of how long they leave you on hold and never answer. I GET IT I WORK CUSTOMER SERVICE. But to never answer the phone is ridiculous. I have to submit my prescription numerous of times. They kick out the prescription without notifying so you’re waiting and waiting and waiting and no prescription is even being worked on. Your dr sends a script they will automatically cancel it and tell you to go it OTC. Well if i wanted OTC i wouldn’t never even ask for a prescription in the first place. Let me make that decision. Don’t cancel my prescription and tell me what to do. IM PAYING NOT YOUU. Grinds my gearsssss. I want all my medicine i submit a refill for. One time i had a script that was over 200.00 they told me the price 10 times and every time i went to pick it up it wasn’t ready. I was like wth is going on. They tried to tell me to drive around for 30 mins or come inside. I had to refuse to move hold the line up in the drive through demand a mgr or medicine. I wasn’t moving it had already been on back order then after back order it took an additional 5 days then they tried to make me ride around. Listen customer service is horrendous. Avoid this Walgreens at all cost. I wouldn’t go back there if it was the last pharmacy on earth.

I wish I could 6/5 star this. Often times when you go to a pharmacy for a prescription refill you can sometimes be spoken to, at least from my experiences in the past at other pharmacies with a “half in half out” type of mentality. Look I get it you don’t want to be working and I don’t want to be waiting. FOLKS LET ME TELL YOU, THIS PHARMACY AND STAFF ARE A1. SHANDRA - although they do not require her to wear a cape, she should because she is a hero! With my long work hours I’m always showing up later in the evening but she ALWAYS goes out of her way to ensure I get my refills in a timely manner. Even just now at 8 PM after a long day at other pharmacies you’ll generally get someone with an attitude but EVERY visit she is nothing but smiles, which makes the visit through the drive thru TEN times better. It is a person like her that has me continuing to elect this pharmacy as the go to! My man KP one of the pharmacists, although I do not go inside much anymore whenever we talk I feel as if I am talking to a friend of mine who always listens and answers any questions comments or concerns but also then asks how am I doing? How is my business going? What do I think of the Hornets etc. ITS THAT PERSONAL TOUCH. Thank you guys for 5 years of excellence, SHANDRA AND KP AND THE ENTIRE STAFF! (I’ll get the other notable names and then edit this review)

I called because, I needed to know if they had the meds I need at this location. I'm in SC and they have a backlog on what I need. After 10 min on hold. I was told by the automated system I was next in line. After someone picked up I was placed on hold again. I waited, Again someone picked up and placed me on hold (2nd time). I remained on the line because I really needed to know the status of the meds. Again, someone picked up the line and placed me back on HOLD!!. I'm currently back on hold in the holding que for the third time. After that, the phone rang again for about 20 times beforeTHEY RELEASED THE CALL AND HUNG UP. Dam shame! SMH Wasted 35 min I cannot get it back. Now, I have to visit the store tomorrow guest who's going to be mad.....

I just got a COVID and Flu shot at a this pharmacy location, and the lead pharmacist was actively sick while working on the job. For a pharmaceutical company, I'd hope they would not only hire enough workers to be able to cover shifts so it's not exceptionally busy for everyone, but also ensure that people who are sick aren't forced to come into work for a company that puts health first. I'd hope they are paid enough where having to stay home while sick is an option for that. This company had done it in 2020 with the COVID pandemic. Can they not continue doing that? Does the Walgreens company truly prioritize health of its workers and customers?

Horrible customer service. Cashier has headphones in her ears. Asked for help after pushing button on the asle to open the locked up items. I waited 15-20 min and no one shows up. I Head to the register for help and she decides she wants to ring up customers first. So I am patiently waiting because I need these items. And she still don’t move or call for help. Finally I find two other workers coming out the back not on the floor helping customers. This is bad customer service. I will never come to this Walgreens ever again. On top of that, they loose one of items I left at the register to hold while I waited for her help.

The cashier tonight and security really pissed me off. I walked into this store to grab some pain meds and as I'm walking back to the front I hear the sorry behind cashier and security guard laughing and talking bad about a customer. This lady was obviously waiting on the inside from the cold her ride with her children. I looked over at her as she was taking pictures of her beautiful daughters with their lip gloss on. And tried my best not to cause a scene to make this family uncomfortable and frighten the children so I politely told the cashier "SHAME ON YOU" and walked out.

This place is terrible. I have been out of my prescription for several days. I ordered it to be delivered to my home and then I get texts & emails stating to pick it up in person. I go to pick it up and their "systems" are down so I cannot get my medication. I called another location to transfer my medicine and they cannot do it since this place has already billed my insurance. It has now been 9 days and this place has been holding my daily medication without any notice as to how I can get it. Every time I call they hang up on me. ZERO STARS.

Like Rite-Aid closed, this Walgreens will close. What better way to restart yet another business in Charlotte's growing Metropolis. From having the same services as other Walgreens to having the worst. In a once upscale community then "bad side," and now up-scaling again there's major reconstruction. The tearing down of one community for the evolution of another. It was a good Walgreens once, until it was deserted by the Corporate Office that replaced trained managers and employees with untrained employees... like Walmart up off Wilkinson.

Upon entering, there was some loud yelling and cursing between the security guard and some customers. There is racial profiling at this store. The security guard, eddy, followed every move I made while in the store. ( He did the same thing to the customers who cursed him out ) When I asked why, he RUDELY and SARCASTICALLY said to prevent "YOU" people from stealing. He threatened to call the police since I was walking around the store without purchasing anything and even picked up the phone like he was calling the police.

This store is so disheveled. It looks worn down and dirty. Staff looked frazzled. There weren’t enough employees to handle the amount of customers. I made an appointment for vaccinations and I have no idea why they offer appointments since they were running at least 45 min behind. And signs say walk-ins welcome. Pick one or the other. I walked out. I did tell the one employee in the pharmacy I was leaving. He probably signed in relief that I didn’t yell at him AND I was taking something off his to-do list.

The pharmacy is ridiculously slow. I called to check on my prescription and I was on hold for a hour and half. When I went to pick up my medicine I was told 30 minutes until it is filled. I waited 30 minutes and returned only to be told it would be another 20 minutes! After I informed the cashier that I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes she said they would expedite my prescription. LIES! I still ended up having to wait 20+ more minutes for my medicine. I will not be returning to the pharmacy.

By far the worst Walgreens I’ve ever used and I’ve used Walgreens all over Charlotte. The drive thru is a nightmare, every time I’ve tried to refill meds they’re always out. I’ve been on the same meds for 21 yrs and rely on it heavily to live and survive. My doctor can fax them the meds weeks in advance and they’re still not ready when I get there after receiving alerts that they’re ready for pickup. I give up on this Walgreens I won’t continue to put myself in this situation.

This Walgreens is trash!!! I have been calling since Monday to see if my prescription is ready because the automated voice system keeps saying they can’t find an order associated with my number. Everyday, from Monday-Friday I was on the phone waiting for at least 20-30 minutes, and every single time someone picked up they hung up. I had to keep calling back and still no answer. The one star was just so I could write a review! Zero stars!!!!!!

The pharmacy staff appeared to be really confused and not really clear on how to use their systems. Doctor sent in script 3 hours and it still wasnt ready. I was told to come back 30 min later. upon my return there was a massive line of about 15 people and it barely moved. currently been in line for 30 min with 2 people still ahead of me. not sure what the issue is. but I will be taking my business back to CVS. first and last time here.

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever used. They NEVER answer the phone. The drive thru window is almost never open. I waited in the drive thru line for 15 minutes, was next in line and I get to the window and they put a sign up saying to come inside. Didn't even say anything and there were 3 other cars behind me. I'm on the phone right now waiting going on 30 minutes. They'll pick up the phone and then hang up. They've done that 3x.

I’ve been trying for two days to get a prescription from Walgreens on freedom Road. The line was long inside one person, then she had to also take care of the drive-through got tired of standing there so I left come back through the drive-through the next day I have been in the drive-through for over 30 minutes. I’ve had enough of the poor service. I’ve been using Walgreens for years but I just had enough of the poor service.

This is the worst Walgreens I’ve ever been too. I think they’re understaffed but ultimately I had to move pharmacies. My doctor would call in prescriptions they’d never process and then claim they never received. They randomly cancel my meds. If someone was out, they’d tell me they’d order it and wouldn’t. They are sooo slow. Just save yourself the frustration and go anywhere else. Never dealt with a pharmacy this bad.

I had a great experience today. The pharmacy line was a little long; they could've used another cashier. Tika was very friendly. However, last month I had a very negative experience with Lativa in the pharmacy. She argued with me over the price of something and proceeded to call me a liar. I notified Michelle the "MOD" and she was even less professional and had no interest in solving my problem.

A spot for useless people to get paid to be incompetent. Have taken FedEx packages here with QR code in the past. Today “we don’t print labels anymore.” But…why? Are you not a FedEx ship location as stated on their website and Google Maps and your own signage inside? If you go look for where you can take boxes with QR codes and get the label printed, there you are listed Walgreens off Freedom. Lazy.

Each time I have been to this location the pharmacy has had my medicine in stock. And its always either ready when I get there or if I am dropping it off it usually takes less than 20 minutes. Yes I have noticed the homeless population in the corner of the parking lot by the bushes and the intersection. It is an eyesore but they have never bothered me.

My first and second time there was a horrible experience. I called prior to going there and I was told my prescription was ready didn't go that day waited until the next day and when I got there the prescription was not ready and attitude was given. Saying that they were short staffed but that's no excuse for attitude with the customers.

The professionalism at this pharmacy is very frustrating and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Honestly this store should be closed down. Prescriptions are never ready when promised. Have been waiting in the drive thru only to have them close with us sitting there. I understand companies making cuts on staff but these are the worst of the worst. Unfriendly unprofessional! If I could do zero stars I would.

Frequently out of stock medications. Pharmacy tells you it will be there the following day...and it never arrives. To get information, you have to call- they do not reach out to you. I called 3 different times and got 3 different answers about my Rx status. Very nice staff but very frustrating experience.

I don’t often leave reviews but this place is terrible. The girl at the register is nothing but rude and unhelpful. She clearly hates her job. I’ve had to wait over 20 minutes in the pharmacy line for prescriptions that were supposedly ready. I will be shopping elsewhere in the future.

Overpriced! Bought halls lollipops for my daughter it was $8.35. It’s 3.97 at Walmart for the same kind. The cashier was on her personal phone having a conversation, didn’t even greet me when I walked up to the register, she was on her phone talking. Very unprofessional

Terrible drive thru service!!! They are sooo slow. One car would take 15 minutes. Cars were leaving because we had to sit in line a ridiculously long time. And the phone service is just as bad. It takes forever for someone to answer your call.
