"Terrible Customer service"
"BEWARE, absolutely the worst customer service in their pharmacy I've ever dealt with"
"Just came a few minutes ago to pick up my prescriptions and the male pharmacist was unprofessional and lack of courtesy… He asked for my information and told me that my prescriptions are not in the system and I asked how long normally it takes to appear in their system ??? And responded he doesn’t know and walked away and sat down… There’s no re assurance and positive attitude on his end and it made me feel and think that I wasn’t been valued as their customers, I just came from an outpatient surgery and needed my medication and the lack of courtesy and communication is needed to be improved at his end and further coaching and training needs to be implemented so it can be avoided in the future…"
"So just got out of the cvs pharmacy as angry as I’ve never been 02/082023 @07:10pm"
"CVS at Gessner Rd in Houston TX"
Terrible Customer service. My daughters prescription was ordered on a Thursday morning. I called Thursday evening and they told me they would have to order it, but that it would be there on Friday. Okay no problem! I called on Friday and the lady I spoke with told me that it had arrived but the shipment had not been unpacked so it would be later in the afternoon before it was ready. Okay no problem! At this point I feel that I have been more than patient and understanding. I never heard anything back Friday about the prescription. So, I go in on Saturday assuming based on what I was told on Friday it should be ready. When I went in one of the pharmacy techs was helping me and told me he didn’t have it. At this point all of my patience and understanding is out the window. When I express my frustration he walks off and waived his hand at me signaling to the pharmacist “you deal with her”. INCREDIBLY RUDE!! then the pharmacist tells me to lower my voice because HE is having a rough day! YOU are having a rough day?!? My daughter has been sick for two days waiting on you people! I am having a rough day too with a sick child who cannot get her medication. Completely unprofessional!! I am a customer! Why are you telling me about what a bad day you are having and trying to discount what I am going through right now with my daughter?! I am required by insurance to purchase 1 prescription through CVS for cost purposes, other than that I will not be returning.
BEWARE, absolutely the worst customer service in their pharmacy I've ever dealt with. Even my doctor and his staff were disgusted with the pharmacy managers rudeness. I dealt with them for a solid week trying to get my prescription filled. They even caused me problems with my insurance Medicare PPO plan which had always approved my medicine for years. Then after my doctor calling them, doctors nurses calling them they decide they aren't going to fill it. At that point I'd been out of medicine for 7 days. They showed no compassion or understanding. Nothing but rudeness. Find a different pharmacy because they are the worst I've ever dealt with. My doctor called another pharmacy, not CVS and I had my meds the very next day. Worst customer service ever!!!

So just got out of the cvs pharmacy as angry as I’ve never been 02/082023 @07:10pm. This technician(dark skin girl) tells me they don’t work with blue cross. It’s funny cuz I’ve been picking up my proscriptions on cvs thru blue cross for more than two years. I usually pick it up on the other cvs location. So I finally got my answer that she said they are closing in 50 minutes so they’re not able to fill it up. So shame on you girl. Im sick and complaining from pain while you don’t wana do your paid job.
CVS at Gessner Rd in Houston TX. Please never come here. The most rude pharmacist ever. He just don't care about people's health. They gave me more concentration of an antibiotic of what my 1 year old was supposed to have. Now she is vomiting like crazy and they just said "go to the doctor, it is not our fault, it is not our daughter" . What ? It was the CVS at Gessner fault that I gave her a stronger medicine because they didn't mix it correctly!!! And now it made her sick. Don't know what to do.
Worst pharmacy drive through ever. To pick up my daughter's medications I had to wait 30 minutes in front of three cars that all went to the left lane and you cannot even get to the right lane without being next to the window. The pharmacists are slow as hell also. I would never send my medication to such a cheap pharmacy where they take so long to process. It's not just this time it's other times also. They process one person at a time and they're slow as sloths.
Being a CVS customer for more than 10 years has allowed me to see the changes in their customer oriented culture. I recently moved to this location and started going to this particular CVS store. It’s really pleasant to witness the improvement on customer service they offer. It is very noticeable comparing to other locations in affluent neighborhoods in Houston where the service is just perfect. Keep it up!
I like this CVS Pharmacy located at the intersection of Gessner and the Katy Fwy. It's very clean & well lighted with good merchandise presentation and few out of stocks. The pharmacy counter located at the rear of the store is very spacious. If you encounter a problem getting a prescription filled, the issue is with your insurance company - not the pharmacy.
I have had prescriptions filled at the pharmacy here on Gessner for several years. However, I noticed a positive DIFFERENCE as a newer male pharmacist , and the seemingly mostly new staff assisted me. The pharmacist and his staff were kind, prompt, & attentive. The experience today on December 31, 2021 @ 12:15 p.m. was refreshing.
The pharmacy service is terrible!!! I went to get some insulin syringes but I couldn't remember the size. The BLONDE woman at the consultation window was unable to help us. She in a very rude way she said that she couldn't show us anything because she had a whole wall of Syringes, she needs to study Customer Service.
So, the phone message said they opened at noon. I showed up at noon and there was a note on the door that they were closed due to their system being down. A company the size of CVS should be able to handle this better. Offer to send the prescription across the street or to another pharmacy.
One of the worst pharmacies horrible customer service rude staff and when you ask a question they're answers are vague . Definitely not reliable for pharmacy services! If you don't like your job then it's obvious at least act like you do instead of being rude to the customers you do have!
Open and polite. Thank goodness. I find it funny when people post negative comments about pharmacy drives being slow.. because they all are. Every one. Please don't take these negative reviews as a reason not to come here. The store is clean and the people are nice.
I needed to use the restroom before purchasing what I needed and the store employee told me that I could not use the restroom because the restrooms don't open until 7am. Then rolled his eyes. Come on now.... You've gotta do better than that CVS.
This is a review of the pharmacy. The two most recent experiences I've had have been subpar. Both times, two different pharmacists were rude (one in person, one over the phone). Maybe they are overworked or underpaid, I don't know. If your
Standard sized CVS location with pharmacy and drive thru. Pharmacy staff is prompt and helpful. Floor staff is basically non-existent and can take quite a while to checkout if more than 2 people in line. Photo services are offered as well,
The girl cashier was nice, however the manager is absolutely horrid. I felt she was judging me, as she told me i cant charge my phone and that i had to leave. She was the one the brought up she was the manager too, with a snarky attitude,
Have always had suboptimal service here, so I switched pharmacies for regular monthly Rx's but still use this one for emergency pick ups because of location. Rx was not ready, needed to get pharmaceutical coupon to keep Rx from costing an
Can I give zero stars? The customer service in this store is non-existent. The pharmacy staffing level is woefully inadequate, and they seem to have no regard to a "first come first serve" concept. The manager has trouble operating the
1002 N Gessner Dr. has a rude pharmacy manager & she wouldn't listen to a suggestion of putting a sign up at the drive thru window to let people know it closes 15 minutes prior to the pharmacy closing. I had them shut the drive thru in
I went to ask the Pharmacist for a consultation, she was giving me an attitude, she was not nice at all. It's weird when a person who should be professional and educated act like this.
I go and CVS all the time I really do think their prices are high but it is so close to my job and I'm kind of hooked on these protein bars that they sell in there.
These people act like your going to grab and run out the door. I love CVS this is the most uncomfortable place I have ever been in. Its not that serious. …
Love coming to this CVS. Super helpful staff and love the ease of self check out! There’s always someone there to greet you and assist with check out!
Formula one pit crews wish they were as fast as the drive through pharmacy. In and out so fast I didn't even realize they gave me back my card.
Love this CVS especially it is open 24 hours. I can always get the over the counter medicine any time I need during the day without worrying.
No employees at the register and the self checkout takes too long when you are trying to catch the bus. Will never come back again.
Very efficient to pick up a prescription. Friendly staff on my visit
Store was very clean and staff was very helpful
They have been very accommodating to my needs!
