Edit: I actually came in the next day as the cashiers below had said to do since the manager would be there to assist today, and as suspected, they are not here. Apparently they do not work Saturdays per another cashier. If I could give 0 starts I would. I returned 2 items and had the original receipt, that on the back details that with original receipt the customer will be be given back the amount they paid for the return back in the form of their original payment method. Well the cashier Raynell returned it to me not in my original payment method but I wanted it in my original payment method, so before she closed the drawer as she was getting the cash I said no ma’am I want it back in my card. The card last four is on the receipt and it matches and it says debit and chip used. She said the computer gave her cash option only, even though I saw the card swipe portion of the machine light up green when she opened her drawer. Since I rebuttaled another cashier came to assist and even she could not assist since the first cashier returned it already, inappropriately, and against what the receipt return says on the back. Not only that but the other cashier Johanny called the manager and the manager could do nothing either over the phone. To make it worse they are asking me to come in at 9am in the morning to talk to the manager even though they just called on the phone for help and couldn’t do anything. I asked how exactly will me coming in at 9 am in the morning will assist me if they couldn’t assist over the phone, and how do I know for sure they are going to help. Especially since they want to take the return items and give me the cash and just send me on my way. They can decide at 9am not to help me since the return is already “done”, even though it was done wrong and not in the customers wishes nor what the receipt said will occur. I’m very disgruntled and I shouldn’t have to inconvenience myself for their mistakes and be unsure it will be handled appropriately if I return.
Update to my below original review: As I sit here in the store waiting for my RX, I realize something I cannot believe I missed before. All of the slow service is caused entirely by the customers. These folks are trying very hard here and the people who pick up their prescriptions here are generally extremely difficult. It is not the pharmacy staff's fault. I should have realized this being a former pharmacy technician. Patients suck. Old review: Every person who works in the actual store is always great. However...the pharmacy. Oh my God, the pharmacy. Example: I arrived today at 5:45pm and gave the technician my two prescriptions. I told him I wanted to wait for them, he said to give them 15 minutes, I agreed and mulled around the store looking at other things. Finally at 6:45pm I asked the other technician about the status of my prescriptions. They were in a pile of other prescriptions that HAD NOT BEEN STARTED. They then began to fill my prescription and finally rang me up at 7:02pm. This is just one of many, many terrible experiences I've had with this pharmacy. Please seek another place to get your medicine, because the incompetence here is just insane. (Side note: I worked as a Pharm Tech for two years and have since been working in a physician's office for three years. I know a decent bit about the industry.)
Bottom Line: Pharmacy did not ask for insurance; Pharmacy did not ask appropriate questions RE the customer’s insurance coverage; Pharmacy did not inform customer of options RE prescription need OR insurance coverage. First time @ Pharmacy: “We won’t give you this vaccine without a prescription. The fax number is ...” Called to check & the staff member said “Oh no we don’t show anything in your account” - they’d given me the phone number not the fax. Okay, basic human error. They fix it and receive the prescription. Second time @ Pharmacy: 30 minutes waiting for the woman to find my profile, get an unpackaged prescription, then be told I need to fill out paperwork, she comes back with a packaged box, and then asks me for full price. I ask “Is that with my insurance?” She replies “let me check”. Staff should know whether or not they’ve run the insurance. She comes back with another Staff member who says “Sorry we won’t cover insurance here but if you go over to the clinic they will run it there, and you won’t need a prescription.” ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I reply “That should have been told to me from the beginning.” The first time I came in, I could have been informed of my options and handled it that same day: without a prescription and with my insurance. Very lacking in consistency RE customer service.
Pharmacist Sonia C. is flat out rude. I came through the drive thru to pick up my medicine. Another lady, Alissa I believe is her name told me it would be about 20 mins to 30 mins. I was on the furthest away lane, so she said if I could circle around or if a car comes to circle around. I've been here for 40 mins and only 3 cars came through the drive thru. Sonia gets on the speaker and starts to tell me that I need to leave because it's so "backed up". Haha, she just wanted to be rude. There were no cars that I was blocking or anyone. I told her that the other lady said I could wait. I get that if I was blocking cars that would be an inconvenience, but this wasn't the case at all. I just ignored her. Maybe like 10 mins later Sonia gets back on the speaker and begins to yell and tell me to leave, she was so rude and began to lecture me! Then she told me to come inside. I'm very sick and cannot move around too much. I don't post reviews but I think after reviewing below, someone should talk to this Sonia lady and remind her about her customer service skills, or lack thereof. She treated me such hostility that it gave me such a bad taste. Now I'm having to wait another 20 mins for my medicine. Sonia, you need to be mindful of people and treat people the way you'd want to be treated.
The 5 star rating is for the night manager/lead, John. First, a customer was asking a cashier to exchange 25 pennies for a quarter though there seemed to be a language barrier. It seemed that the customer was asking for a roll of quarters and they did not have the roll of quarters at the front counter. John overheard the conversation and volunteered to go get the roll of quarters for the customer. Thinking back, when I was at this location the night before a different manager/lead told the cashier that what they had out already is all that they have when a customer asked for a product that was not readily at the front counter. Back to John: he assisted me and he went out of his way to help with an issue I was trying to resolve. In contrast, the night before a manager/lead simply told me to come back in the day time and talk to the GM when he could not figure out how to solve the problem. John did not send me away though. John made sure to take care of the customer on first contact. Simply put, I am truly taken aback at this kind of service as it is rare to see someone going out of their way to help a customer (and I shop almost everyday, so I am speaking from first hand knowledge). Great job, John. You deserve a promotion and a raise. Keep up the great work. Thank you.
To the public, to the owner and to the manager of this place look how the employee deal with your customers. There is no word it can describe how impolite and lack of humanity the pharmacist was i called them at 11:40 and I asked them if it ok to come now i was just discharged from the hospital and they gave me two important medicine I have to take tonight did I arrived at 11:54 then he said i cant take i need to go home his name is Leo G. I told him I had kidney stone please I need to take the medicine now and I cannot drive to a different place. He said this is not my problem!!! I mean if you told me from beginning cannot take it at this time I will be fine I will just go to different one but you let me drive to you. Then i Requst the manager and he came after the 12:00 reached and he is simply said sorry they are close have a good night??!!! Lets talk about business way this is not the right way to handle your business if you keep this rudeness way you will lose a lot of customers And lets talk about human being now The one minute or two its not going to effect your life if you help a patient he is in pain and he just showed you the. Discharge paperwork The doctors pharmacist and nurse they should have more mercy in there heart I wish this message read by the SEO
I went to get a TB skin test and the woman that gave me the injection was very polite and helpful. But when I went to get my results two days after my first visit, there was this woman that was supposed to read my results. I am very aware of how a TB skin test is read, and she was an absolute disaster in reading. She doesn’t even explain the results unless I ask her. Then she immediately started taking survey, which made it seem like she just wanted me to leave the room. She was terrible and diagnosed me with a 20 mm skin test results, when, in fact, my results were just 10 mm in diameter. Then she started giving me an address of a clinic to get an x-ray test so that I would spend extra money. She was trying all possible way to get money out of my pocket. But the other staff members are very approachable and very kind. I even bought something from the store and was welcomed by the staff, but the clinic is not a place to try. If you decide to go to the clinic, make sure to know your disease and get ready to ask a ton of questions. Don’t expect them to tell you the truth.
After stepping over a vagrant who asked MY CHILD for cigarettes I walked in and could not find a single employee in the entire store roaming the aisles. I found a restroom that had a keypad and again wandered aimlessly looking for someone to give us the code. The one employee at the cashier stand said he would “have to open it for me” however, since around 18 other people in line were waiting to be checked out by the only human employee at this store, seemed like I would be there awhile. all through the store you could hear someone on an intercom “customer needs help” in this or that department but evidently today, October 7 at approximately 2 PM was the day Walgreens decided no employees should be working. This is the new normal in what was once an upscale part of Houston but now they must treat all customers like they are homeless vagrants and will take a shower and smoke crack in the bathrooms. So I left without buying anything and will order from Amazon which is killing retail America and this is exactly why.
This pharmacy is a joke. Every time you call, expect to be on hold for 10 minutes before the system disconnects the call because no one picked it up. Every time I called, I was on hold for at least 30 minutes total. The staff has no idea what they are doing and are extremely rude and indignant. My roomate was assaulted at work, and after 5 hours of "waiting for workman's comp to call us back" I called them and got the correct information immediately. I called the pharmacy back and was told, "After I was told to wait on their call, you mean to tell me I HAVE TO CALL THEM? Well, I GUESS so, I already have their number..." MY roomate has been without any of her NEEDED, HEAVY MEDICATION for 12 hours and they just didn't care. This place is terrible and not worth your time, especially if you need someone to help you who is halfway competent.
Mrs. Flag the pharmacist was very rude to me after having me hold for over two hours. Got back on the phone screaming at me to tell me to stop calling. However, I wasn’t calling back I was constantly kept on hold more than 30 times and the call kept going back in the que. I know this cause I use to work for Walgreens in the pharmacy. I’ve never heard a pharmacist in retail or hospital speak to someone the way she spoke to me. She was very hostile and told me she wasn’t going to help me. Then rudely hung up the phone in my face. With 36 years of experience and working in retail pharmacy you would think she would have more customer service skills. I was not disrespectful and raise my voice not one time. You should be more kind and respectful to others.
E-commerce order pick up. I went to the store to pick up my order. There was no one at the counter for 5 whole minutes. Then an old guy who could barely walk came to the counter. I showed him my order email through my phone. He rudely asked me to bring my id. I said it’s in my car but the email should be enough to confirm it’s me. He insisted that I go and get it. So I went to my car and brought my id. When I tried to show it to him, he DID NOT even check it. Like seriously?? Then he said that my item is in the Store Billing Counter now so I should go and get it from there. What is his job then? The guy in the store billing counter was not helping me either. He expected me to wait in the long store purchase queue, when it was simply a pickup.
Worse customer service if I could I would have them -5 start I told the cashier I need to split the amount of my purchase clearly and she went and charged me all in one and then I asked for my receipt and she said that it’s only electronic receipt when I clearly saw she handout a receipt to the person in front and stated I had to wait for the manager, so I waited for the manager and he stated that he said I’ll see if I can get your receipt. I need to get the receipt because I used the company credit card and by their policies I need to return all the receipts to them. So they made me wait 30 min for them to print a paper receipt never ever put a foot in this location with this kind of employees working here
I had an appointment for a vaccine shot scheduled for 7:00 pm at this location today. The appointment was made well in advance. Upon arrival, there was a sign posted on the door stating that the store was closed due to inclement weather and would re-open the following business day at 8:00 am. It was not raining at the time. I didn't receive a call from the pharmacy staff stating that they would be closing. It is unprofessional to not notify the patient. The staff was still in the store and ignored me while I was standing outside by looking down at the ground avoiding eye contact. The staff at this location is desperately in need of additional training in customer service and ethics.
The pharmacy is super slow. Yesterday, I had an appointment for 5:45 PM so I arrived 5:25 PM, it took 30 minutes to them to give me a generic paperwork to fill in (with the same data I had provided electronically) and then about an hour to process that. I received part of my vaccines (not all of them) at 7:10 PM, around an hour and a half later than the appointment time. I was the only one for vaccination. In addition, I was told that due to health concerns I can only have two vaccines per day, so I scheduled another visit a day after, just to learn today that they don't have (and never had) the other two vaccines I needed. A complete disaster.
Worst Pharmacy ever. I have the flu, my step dad, who is also my dr, called me in anti nausea meds and my husband went to pick them up. When they got there, they told him they didn’t have anything called in under my name and that even though there may be something on the voicemail that the pharmacist was busy giving flu shots and wouldn’t be able to check for at least the next hour AND SENT HIM HOME. So what does the person answering the phone do? I’ll never go there again. This is the THIRD time I’ve had issues with this pharmacy SINCE I MIVED HERE IN MAY. Get a new manager. PLEASE.
If there was zero star, I would choose that. I went for a drive-thru PCR Test on Nov 22 2021 at 9:30am. Today, Nov 24 2021, at 9:38am the lab portal says that they have not yet received my sample. How is that the case of the sample is supposed to be transported to the lab overnight? The lab then needs another 24 hours to run the test. Why is Walgreens not aware of the international requirements for travel (to have the result within 72 hours)? There is a world out there. Stop making things harder than they should be. This is my second bad experience with Walgreens for a PCR test.
Absolutely horrible. Once again they did not have my prescriptions in stock after being told they would have it today. Sat in the drive up pharmacy line for over 30 minutes. Both of the ladies working in the pharmacy were incredibly rude and seemed annoyed by having to check on availability…rolling and cutting their eyes and slamming my ID and credit card down on the counter when I asked a question. They said to check back next week, which will make two weeks I’ve gone without my medicine. I’d rate this experience as bad as dealing with Comcast or AT&T. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL
My family received terrible care at this Walgreens. One of the women pharmacists made my father wait over an hour for his booster even though he had an appointment and she was extremely rude to him throughout the entire time he was there. She was absolutely horrible to my parents who are in their late 60s and very kind. My parents are always extremely patient with people and they didn’t deserve this treatment. Don’t go here for you Covid vaccine or booster. Try CVS Nextdoor instead. I hope the manager of this store takes this seriously because I’m absolutely appalled.
If I could give negative stars I would. If you want you be treated like dirt and not get your medication then look no further. I was in a car accident and had serious medicine sent in by the emergency room. They not only didn’t fill it but made me wait 24 full hours to tell me they couldn’t do it even though it’s a common medicine and is also in stock. I was able to fill my medication elsewhere immediately. If I could cuss on here and it stay up as a review I’d call out each and everyone of the members in the pharmacy department. Eff yourselves Negative 5 stars
I have been going to this pharma for 15 years. They have gotten progressively worse until practically impossible to deal with in civilized manner. They are dumb as box of rocks, rude, totally lazy to the point they don’t want to do their job, and worst of all, apparently oblivious to fact the meds they handle often impact people’s health and well-being. How are they allowed to exist in large scale corporate structure by increasing risk of ppl’s health ? Who hires these incompetents at one of busiest locations in Houston. Just awful, run the other way!
They don’t really care about there service they give. I come in frequently and they usually have a line of 8 or 9 plus customers in line with one employee on the register. All other employees are no where to be found and if you do there stocking on one of the isles. Every single employee where airbuds so they don’t always pay attention to us coming in. The manager on shift needs to do better on managing the shift seems like the employees run themselves. Although they can also improve, Cvs next door closes at 12 but is better at service than here.
This walgreens is so bad! My medications are never ready to pickup, I come and I usually have to wait for them to fill it up then and that’s of they have it in store! I really don’t know how they function, why they don’t fill the prescription when the doctor sends it to them. Also, appointments mean nothing to them, to get my covid booster I had to wait for 50 minutes! I am writing this review while waiting on them to fill a prescription, the pharmacist said 15 mins but we will see how ling it takes this time!
I’ve been using this pharmacy for years. I’ve been patient and tried giving them the benefit of the doubt because they are super busy. However, they are truly awful. Not everyone. But definitely most. We put our healthcare needs in the hands of people who truly don’t care and don’t think past “go”. Does it hurt to check pharmacy’s that MAY have your prescription in stock. Not just say, “I don’t know, but we don’t have it. You’ll have to call them.” Welcome to the American healthcare system. ♂️
It's a good walgreens. They have a wide selection of wine and even a couple craft beer selections. Along with a makeup department that has higher end makeup. All natural healthy makeup. It's not just covergirl and those other brands. They also are really friendly. But there's times where they've been cranky too. Everyone has their moments. Some days are harder than others. But 85% of the time they're great! Plus they're 24/7. And the pharmacy is open really late.
I am so angry with Walgreen, today the security had my car towed. Yes I left the empty parking lot. I was a customer, I was not shop there at the time, but I spent my money their. What about kindness, a d mercy. It is around the holidays and I have to pay 250.00 because that day I am Walgreen customers was not spending money there that day. Do I suppose to continue to show at a store that says I'm only a customer when I'm spendy money? The place was empty.
As a temporary resident of Houston, I needed some medical advice and Walgreens was around the corner from where I was staying. I dropped in on a Saturday afternoon but the nurse practitioner got to me pretty quickly and was very friendly and helpful. I did note that the line for the prescriptions was moving quite slowly at times, until they opened up a second counter and then they were getting through people pretty quickly there too.
The above single star review is for the pharmacy they have there. Even though I had made an appointment both times for covid vaccinations for my 5 yr old, both the times they made us wait for more than 1 hr. The receptionist at the pharmacy was very rude. The policies they are following is not consistant. Even after reading these reviews you decide to go to this place for covid vaccinations be prepared to wait for more than an hour.
This Walgreens is always a disappointment. The staff, even the management (Christian) is incredibly rude and unhelpful. If you come during open pharmacy hours they may be closed, because “they’re human” and “sometimes they close early, when no one is there” and “if you call they might stay open during their posted open hours” - I will attest that in my year of living near and dealing with this store their 2star rating is generous.
If I could give zero stars I would. This is directed solely to the pharmacy staff. Extremely rude, unprofessional, and disorganized. They continue to push back when I can pick up my prescription. They never can seem to find my prescription order even though it is always sent in from my physician a week prior. They give attitude and mumble to all customers. Provide better service or hire new pharmacists/pharmacy technicians.
Manager was nice but didn't know the coupon policies. She kept insisting that I couldn't stack manufacturer and walgreens coupons when I've done this hundreds of times. Cashier was rude and seemed annoyed. She didn't want to ring up my items the way I told her so she had to get the manager to void 3 transactions before getting it right. I told her Thank you and she just handed me my bag and said "next". Just rude.
To the two women who I called twice(both looked back at me each time, walked away twice) it's not very nice ignoring your customers like that. Makes a person feel like their nothing. And then the taller one said "we can not give out personal info like that" when I asked for her name(BS) what if someone ever had a nice thing to say... Taller one had pink Jordan looking like shoes Other had purple type running shoes
Bad experience. The pharmacist on this location filled my prescription with orange flavored 2 weeks ago, and told me to come back to get the next two botles mixed with flavor. I came today after 2 week to mixed my medicine and she told me that in this store never putting flavor on the medicine. I ask for her name and she denied to giveme the information. She traeat me with disrespectfull the same the manager.
So I just got off the phone with pharmacy. I have tried over and over to have faith in this establishment. But they are so rude! The lady slammed the phone in my face did say goodbye or thank you. Unacceptable WALGREENS get your act together. Go back to the basics, show empathy and gratitude to your customers! Remember we help place food on your tables! If I could I would give zero stars! Transferring my Rx!
In that store there is a lady (joshua) I think I say her name, I asked for my receipt and he did not want to give it to me, I said that the machine did not print it, I said that I could check if the machine had paper and I rudely told myself the machine I don't print it. It is so likely that she keeps the rewards that the store gives in the offers. She kept 4dlls of the reward of an offer.
I called an hour ahead so they could fill my prescription I even got here after the time they said it would be ready, I had to wait 30min to even get to the window, once at the window they tell me it's not ready yet wait another 30min! What's the whole point of calling ahead to get the prescription filled when they are gonna make you wait some more?! Horrible service on their part!
This Walgreen has no idea of customer care, they towed my car from the parking lot because I walked off the lott for 10 minutes. The lot was not even a quarter full. 2 hours and $225 later I got my car back. They are tantamount to criminals in the way they apply their legal rights. Never ever will I spend a cent with this company and I recommend that everybody does the same.
The security guard stole my dog. I still haven’t recovered from this event. If I could leave zero stars, I would. When I went in for my ointment, I witnessed them tell a blind man that he wasn’t in a pharmacy. He apologized and walked out. I thought it was really messed up, but I needed my ointment. The drink selection is okay though. They have all the Uptime flavors.
Tried to call to see if they had my medicine ready and the lady told me she was too busy to help me I needed to just call my doctor back. Refused to look to see if they had it. I can’t for the life of me understand how a pharmacy treats people this way and stays in business. I’d use any other location but this one. It’s obvious why they only have 2.5 star rating
This is the closest Walgreens to me. Unfortunately it’s also the rudest pharmacy. Be prepared to be on hold for over 20 min, if they don’t hang up. Peter needs to find a new job that doesn’t involve customer service. His attitude and disrespect is uncalled for. He flat out told me to go to another Walgreens for a prescription their system drop the ball on.
Literally the worst customer service. All the employees act like they don’t care, they hang up the phone on you. The printing services department is TRASHHH. They’ll literally cancel your order because they don’t have the supplies or they’re too lazy to do their jobs. Just do yourself a favor, listen to the reviews and save yourself the headache.
I woke up feeling tired and old so I went to Walgreens to look for skin care and I was greeted by the sweetest makeup agent yesterday. She was wearing a hat and a pretty belt, contacts she was really helpful and walked with me to the product I needed. Her customer service and spirit is amazing. We need more people with that positive attitude!
Staff is slow including the pharmacy staff. There is no sense if urgency for customers or customer service. Despite the incompetency Level of customer service in the pharmacy, the front end staff wins each time. They are diligent about using the ISee3 feature to ensure fast service.
I had a medication that needed to be filled urgently. The pharmacist was very helpful in expediting the process. The pharmacy staff was also very attentive and patient when they were obviously busy. I am also grateful this pharmacy was open late when other pharmacies were closed.
I'm really disappointed I came in there on my break from work with my Security Uniform on and was racially profiled by the staff it's a shame you can't shop in peace anymore. Horrible customer service I hope the staff is changed here before they pick another victim!
Terrible store. Four employees standing at the registers, but only one register open and a huge line. Three employees just chatting and laughing while one employee worked. Always has a long line. The nearby CVS has self-checkout so you don't have to wait forever.
Can't get anyone to answer pharmacy phone. Called 3 times, every time I'm on hold music, get switched to new hold music, then it will ring between 15-20 times, it sounds like someone picks up then I go back to hold music. After 20 minutes it just disconnects.
Would be zero or negative stars if possible. My provider was trying to call in an urgent medication and confirm the medicaiton was in stock. The provider was placed on hold and never spoken to then hung up on after holding for 15 minutes.
I’ve had numerous horrible experiences with the pharmacy here. No one usually cares. However had the pleasure of meeting pharmacist Anh today and she was so helpful and caring! Great experience and will keep me going to this Walgreens.
Online site states 2 different home covid tests available for pickup then cancelled both orders. Called and was on hold for 10 minutes spoke to 4 different people who couldn't tell me if it was in stock and finally hung up. Horrible!
Nice stuff in any part especially pharmacy & prescription . Do that with respect. There is a lot products. And the most important thing is that the pharmacy is open 24/7 and you can go and pick up the prescription whenever you want.
Sabrina has been outstanding for years. I’m embarrassed that I haven’t praised her yet!!! Always awesome professional and kind, really just always with a smile!!! Top notch!!! …
6:24 pm 06/2/23. Bad place for driver (deliver) front desk tried to help m 4 time call to costumer service and no 1 attended im working too like them …
The worst pharmacy every. No one will answer the phone and if they do, they hang up on you but not before placing you on hold for 10 min.
Sabrina, the pharmacist, went over and beyond the call to be titled a great pharmacist and her assistant Peter deserves accolades too!
It’s a decent Walgreens like any other, though you might have to be a bit alert in this area. There’s an extensive cosmetics section.
It is impossible to leave a good review. Bad customer service. It seems that they don't want to work.
The wait time on the phone is awful. I waited 30 minutes for them to tell me hold on.
Mekayla was super helpful and very knowledgeable. I sure did appreciate her today.
40 minutes wait time to receive a vaccine no matter you make an appointment
