Worst CVS Pharmacy EVER. I have been on the same medications for YEARS and have NEVER had problems getting a prescription filled, until I started using this CVS. I always receive calls saying my prescription is ready. I have asked several times for TEXTS, but their incompetent, Pharmacy Techs, can't figure this out, pretty much like everything else. Every time I show up hours later to pick up my prescription and I am told it is not ready. When I ask the incompetent tech of the day, why? Their response uhhhh, I don't know, the system. Look, your job is not hard. I don't want to hear some excuse about your system, you're just lazy. Walk over and ask the pharmacist! Today was the last straw. I show up at 3pm after receiving a call at 9am saying my prescription was ready to be picked up. The woman says it is not ready and will be about 20 minutes. Okay, fine. So I come back 20 minutes later and another mousy looking girl is there. She again tells me it is not ready. I tell her the woman before said 20 minutes. I then ask her how much longer and she said uh, I don't know. What do you mean you don't know??? How hard is it to put pills in a bottle!? I then drive home and call the pharmacist to voice my concerns. He tells me my prescription is ready. I live five minutes away and the mousy tech couldn't have told me five minutes??? He tells me the call I received was to say my prescription is being filled. Umm, okay you had six hours! Why is it not done? Then he gives me some excuse about the laws with this type of medication and how I have to call before I pick it up and they fill it. Um, no! I have been on these medications for years. The doctor calls it in, you fill it, you call me to pick it up. I even called another pharmacy to confirm this is how it should be done. I come back in and ask the same mousy girl why she did not just ask the pharmacist standing next to her how long. She wasted an HOUR of my day. I have a job and my time is money! The pharmacist then proceeds to walk over and tell me to just call him next time first. NO! Have my medication ready before you call me to pick it up next time. I will NEVER use this pharmacy again and suggest that you do not waste your time here either!!This pharmacy is ran by a bunch of incompetent people who don't even seem to know where they are half the time.
My wife was in need of a prescription, and after a different CVS did not have the medication in stock, we were directed to this Riverside location. We were told via confirmation text that the prescription was ready for pickup, so I drove (30 minutes round-trip) to the pharmacy, and was informed not only was the prescription not ready, but this particular medication was not in stock. I was apologized to, and I left. We called our original pharmacy back, and they called the Riverside location back to figure out what went wrong. We were told that the Riverside location did in fact have the medication, and to try filling it again. In the meantime we had also started the filling process at the Research location after being told they also had the medication. The Riverside location called my wife back saying the prescription was ready for pick-up (allegedly for the second time today), and so she drove (40 minutes round-trip for her at the time) to the pharmacy. Upon arriving at the pharmacy, she was informed the prescription was not in fact ready, due to the concurrent filling at the Research location. I'm writing this review in frustration as my wife is sitting at the Riverside CVS, waiting. So in summation. We were told this location had a medication, when they didn't. We were then told they did in fact have the medication, when we were previously told they didn't. We were then told the prescription was ready for pick-up, when it wasn't. While we were only inconvenienced for about an hour out of our day, I'm still wanting to write this review because I hope this process can be improved, and hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else in the future. I was going to give a one-star rating initially as well, but nobody died, and we ultimately got our prescription, but I'll avoid this particular location in the future from now on. EDIT: I just wanted to add throughout it all, Ramon (not sure his role in the store) was in fact very helpful and kind. It seems to me like a process issue more than a personnel problem. Thanks Ramon for your help rectifying this situation.
I never had the worst customer service here with the pharmacists. Very incredibly rude. I know and see they have ALOT of prescriptions to fill but maybe atleast like what you do? It's like all the pharmacists are miserable. I had to make 4 trips to get my prescription. In one of those experiences I was waiting in line at the pickup waiting atleast 20 minutes before it was my turn and then no one was at the window when the other driver left waited 20 minutes just to be ignored and not helped? I gave myself plenty of time to pickup my prescription before going to work and then I had to leave because I was going to be late 40 minutes waiting at the pickup NO ONE COMPLETELY IGNORED. atleast tell me you dont want to help me so I can nip the problem in the butt. Ridiculous. The Chicago pharmacies are way better. Idk what happened in Austin Texas. Maybe because it is south suburbs and people are known to be sh*t in the south. Sorry but not sorry. The last experience I had I waited nicely for my prescriptions already aggravated enough I was telling the pharmacist what I've been through with their location nicely explaining to them and the old pharmacist with glasses haulted me to stop talking and walked away fixing my prescription and as I sat down and ignored that rude gesture he was staring at me shaking my pill bottle which those pills are chalky like already breaking my pills pretty much and looking at me like here is your pill bottle you annoying fk. You know I grabbed my pills didnt say a word and left. What the hell is wrong with the pharmacists here???where is the big head management telling them to fix their little attitudes? My God....God bless them all.
It's a shame that I can not give negative 5 stars to CVS in general and the Riverside location in particular. I'm a prescriber and I needed to leave detailed, specific instructions on a prescription that needed to be picked up that day. Because of the time factor and the nature of the instructions, I was not comfortable leaving all the information on a voicemail system with no accountable person. When I attempted to reach the phamacy, I was also busy working at a high volume clinic. This is not an uncommon circumstance for prescribers. Many physicians, pa's, etc, regularly need to be able to call in a prescription while they're also treating patients and multitasking at work. To be put on hold once for 20 minutes is bad enough. To have to call back 3 times and each time be placed on hold for that long is insane. I couldn't even get a word out before the female who answered clicked off and the hold music started. I know that CVS Riverside serves a low income area and their patients are probably some of the sickest, most vulnerable in our city. This particular pharmacy should be amply staffed with the smartest, most competent techs and pharmacists in the company, not apathetic, overworked, underpaid, burnouts. This is what corporate medicine looks like. This is this result of for-profit enterprise trying to squeeze the most of out as few workers as possible even if it means driving them to neglect their patients. I do not blame the workers at this pharmacy. I blame their store, and regional management and the company itself. Privatized healthcare is a sham and a ripoff.
I’m sorry to have this rating impact the whole store when I only mean to implicate the pharmacy. My wife and I have had repeated issues with the pharmacy. Most recently my wife dropped off a prescription for antibiotics and was told it would be filled. Then she showed up later and not only was it not filled but the pharmacist claimed that he needed to know how frequently I take the medication before he could dispense it. We explained that I take it twice a day when I have an active infection and once a day to prevent an infection for the duration of the time that I have tubes in my kidneys. Because he didn’t hear this directly from the doctor he refused to dispense. Let me get this straight- 90 pills are 90 pills what does he care how many times a day I take it. Also, it’s an antibiotic, not a narcotic pain killer. It’s something I NEED to have to prevent going in to sepsis and it’s not something I would even be able to abuse or take recreationally. They’ve had no issue dispensing me narcotic medication in the past without a dozing schedule that was “as needed”. It was completely insane and injurious to my health. Their condescending tone and flippant attitude about my health needs was enough to make us find a new pharmacy. The least they could’ve done is called as soon as they found the issue rather than wait, make my wife go back later, and therefore prevent me from getting my medication today. Horrendous service.
While everyone there is nice, this is the worst pharmacy experience I have ever had. They are terrible at communicating with pharmacy patients AND my doctor offices. I have had multiple instances where my doctor offices have tried to get into contact with them and couldn't—and when they did, the staff still managed to mess up requests from my doctors and myself. My most recent debacle is that I've been trying to get a prescription transferred from them to my new pharmacy, and despite my new pharmacy reaching out over a week ago, CVS Riverside has still not faxed over the prescription I need. Instead, they moved forward with filling the prescription. Due to my work schedule and where I now live, I am unable to make the trip over to Riverside to pick this up. Instead, I really need them to just fax over the prescription to my new pharmacy like they said they would. I have tried to call them multiple times over the course of two days but have not been able to talk to a person—instead, I'm on hold for well over 15 minutes each time. I'm very frustrated. Giving them two stars versus one because during peak COVID (prior to vaccinations), they were good about COVID testing. Otherwise, I can't wait to wash my hands with dealing with them. Go to HEB instead!! It's right across the street and they are just LOVELY.
This place is ridiculous. Employees are personable and friendly, but that doesn't go very far when they are overworked and chronically understaffed. The place is totally mismanaged. They are still using longhand to copy records if you can believe it! Service is always incredibly slow and inefficient. Things aren't ready when they say. They will promise things over the phone that never happen. Prescriptions are filled wrong. Once I had a prescription for 36 tablets, and they gave me 6! My insurance indicates this is a preferred pharmacy but I'm on the verge of taking my business elsewhere it's gotten so bad. What a shame. All to save a few bucks, they're going to end up losing even more. EDIT: I did end up leaving. Spent over 3 hours one day last week waiting on hold with never an answer. Went in person the next day to find out they had deliberately chosen not to answer the phones. Said they were "short-staffed" and "it's a pandemic," same excuses they've been using for nearly nine months. I had enough. Imagine if someone had an emergency and they just didn't want to answer the phone. When I asked, the manager said, "They can come in." Unbelievable. Stay far away from this place if you value your peace of mind and your health.
Got really bad passport photos taken. I don’t mind showing up ugly in IDs, but not only was it a bad photo, they picture did not pass inspection to get my passport, even though the CVS scanning system said it would pass all US passport requirements. The reason why it didn’t pass was because the person who took the photos didn’t focus the picture on the white background, but it also included the pharmacy background, I brought it to their attention, but they said it passed inspection. The person was also having a really difficult time understanding what I was asking them. I also requested a Covid testing kit and they said they were all out when they were literally right in front of the two us. They also charged me a $15 fee for the passport photo processing aside from the $14 for the photo cost, we had to ask for the manager to get involved because the cashier pressed the wrong button. I know people have bad days, so I’m not trying to get the cashier in trouble. However, getting access to a passport is a very difficult process. I wish the pharmacy took this matter more seriously. $14 for a 2x2 inch photo is too expensive so if the client mentions a concern, I hope employees addresses these issues better next time.
Work for a doctor's office and called 4 separate times in a 4 hr period to call in a prescription for a client. It was a new prescription for a controlled substance so it was necessary to talk to a pharmacist. Each time my call went directly to hold without talking to anyone. I waited about 10 minutes each time, some times a bit longer, with no response. I think the loud repetitive classical hold music is incredibly annoying. I finally called the main number and asked to speak to a manager. I explained the problem with the pharmacy and the manager apologized and offered to walk back and find someone. Once again I was put on hold, waited for 2 to 3 minutes with the same annoying music then the hold switched over to constant phone ringing that was never answered. After a couple minutes I finally hung up. Had to call the client back and tell her to pick another pharmacy. Seems ridiculous to me. This pharmacy is either too poorly staffed, inept or apathetic to take care of business.
WORST PHARMACY EVER. They don't fill prescriptions on time, they lose prescriptions faxed in by my doctor and are rude, won't admit they lost it, won't call the doctor's office to double check (I had to CONFERENCE in my doctor to talk to the pharmacist today!), they don't fill prescriptions they have received I found out today when I transferred my prescriptions to another store, they run out of your medications that you get the same day every month and don't tell you until you show up to get them, they don't answer the phone for at least 15 minutes, they leave you in the drive-through lane forever without responding (I just drove away the other day). They are rude and incompetent. I used the closed CVS at 11th St. and I-35 for 20+ years with no problem whatsoever - Hilda M. was the best pharmacist ever. This is the first time I've left a complaint ever. Do not use that pharmacist. Walgreens is right down the street.
Went to pickup my meds today using the drive thru. It took 30 minutes for some one to finally help me out only to be told that it wasn't ready and to come back in 40 minutes. To be fair there was a long line ahead of me so I understood. I decided to grab a bite and come back later and when I did the drive thru was empty this time, yet it took 20 minutes for some one to help me out only to be told that I had to come inside in order to redeem the coupon I had for my meds because supposedly there was a line behind me (only one car that literally arrived 3 min ago). What WHAT KIND of SERVICE is that I mean what the hell? I been waiting for 20 minutes and they tell me I had to come inside. Talk about bad service. Don't come here, if you can get your meds delivered please do so.
Where do I even begin…. the wait times are always terrible, no matter how early my prescription was called in. Today, I came to pick up cough medicine that was called in yesterday. I arrive and am told it’s a 30 min wait, even though it’s literally just grabbing a bottle of the stuff. I wait 30 mins, go back up, and only when I remind them I’m waiting do they actually prepare it. The pharmacist doesn’t even have enough time to even go through the check out with me, she’s too busy running around doing other stuff that I have to ask her why it’s taking so long. The cherry on top is I get home and there’s no measuring cap with my cough medicine, which is pretty heavy duty stuff. Guess I’m gonna have to eyeball my dosages, thanks a whole lot CVS.
I've been going here for 3 years but the Pharmacy has been having issues. I needed a refill completed and was on hold for hours with no response. My doctor followed up and was also on hold for over an hour and even tried to call at 9AM at opening. My husband even went in to check and they said my prescription was on hold. My doctor finally tried calling another CVS and they were able to find that I had two accounts and one with my needed prescription. Had this location looked more carefully, they would have seen I had an open prescription that needed refilling. Finally I called another CVS and my refill was ready in just 4 hours. Avoid this location for your Pharmacy needs!
I will say, it’s impressive how idiotic some people can be. I went in to pick up my prescription (which I needed urgently) when they said it would be ready and when I got there, a woman told me she had never seen this request before and NEVER EVEN HEARD OF THE MEDICINE as if I was lying about a rash on my face that would spread as long as it didn’t get the necessary medication. She didn’t offer to help, just stared at me and told me I was confused. I have never been so frustrated and disgusted with another humans actions before. Not to mention her lack of empathy. Repulsive. Go down the street to Walgreens where it’s more affordable and won’t enrage your whole day
This is the absolute worst CVS I’ve ever been to. I was essentially accused of stealing. The cashier abrasively noted that he “saw [me] snacking on something.” For reference, I walked in the store with a cough drop. He then proceeded to state, in an accusatory tone, “Did you leave behind some trash?”. I am disgusted and appalled with the way I was treated. I am a professional, and was dressed in my work clothes. I work full time and can’t believe I’d be treated that way with absolutely no justification. I gave him no reason to assume I was not an honest customer. I can assure you CVS will never get my business again.
The worst pharmacy location ever. First my doctor calls in pain medication in the morning and they don’t get it filled. The next day I request it to be delivered pay for it and it’s still not delivered. I called them they put me on hold for over 20 minutes. When you’re in pain and suffering and have not slept all night because they could not get your prescription completed and now the next day they still can’t get it delivered this is not the place you want to go. Any other CVS location is better than this one any other.I can’t stress enough that you should avoid the Cvs location at all costs. Worst location ever
My husband had a prescription sent over for Adderall and has waited over 30 hours for it to get filled. The pharmacy tech answered the phone and said that it would be a 45 minute wait to even get talked to. She also hung up while he was in the middle of asking an estimated time it would be done. He has called this morning and they said it would be done in an hour and we are now on hour 5. If I could rate this place zero stars I would. DO NOT waste your time here. Go to any other pharmacy. In fact, HEB is just across the street and they have excellent service and are often cheaper with GoodRx.
The absolute worst experience I’ve had in my life. They don’t care about their patients at all and the entire staff was rude and gave a bunch of attitude. It took them over a week to tell me that they couldn’t fill my prescription. They didn’t even bother to call around for my prescription until I had to physically come up there twice. The pharmacist lied to me about transferring my prescription and I end up having to have it transferred myself. I honestly believe everybody at the pharmacy should be fired their negligence and delays on people’s prescriptions could possibly get someone killed.
Just to update my review, this CVS has improved 100%. Employees are great and CVS has once again, made my shopping experience an A+. Old review: I shop here because it's near my home, but the atmosphere & employees are not as welcoming as my previous experiences in San Antonio & back in Orlando FL.... I understand Austin is a whole different world but CVS should always provide the same atmosphere in every store across the board. Also,my instant coupons at The red box never print out. So I'm not getting the savings I should be receiving. Overall...my Austin experience hasn't been great .
The restrooms are disgusting and the staff was rude. There was feces all over the toilet. One man was using the restroom with no lock. Mind you this is a 2 stahl unisex bathroom. When asked if we could use the employee restroom the employees just messed around. When confronted the employee said, “maybe we should be patient and wait for the person to come out.” My response…. You obviously don’t know what it’s like to carry a baby. Clean your restrooms. Fix the locks. Don’t be rude. I guess these employees don’t care about customers as it seems or doing their job to keep a clean bathroom.
It’s always the same staff member that is rude. She denied my request for a transfer once at drive thru so I went inside and asked why they don’t do transfers and she real quick corrected herself. Today, she cut me off as I was asking a question and giving more detail about my situation. When I told her I wasn’t done talking she said “okay we’ll then what”. I’m just fed up. My son is sick and I just want my medicine and better customer service. She has brownish-red shoulder length hair, young, Latina. I’ll be contacting higher up about her ugly attitude.
I would give this 0 stars if I could. This CVS is in need of some major changes. I would advise nobody use this location for your pharmacy. Almost every time I call the pharmacy, nobody picks up. The drive through is very slow (took 45 minutes for them to help 4 cars before me). And if you think walking into the pharmacy is quicker, guess again. Also, one of the techs told me they didn't have record of my medicine which was showing upon my app. which caused me to dangerously miss a dose. Ill be changing where I pick up my prescriptions from now on.
I asked where the toilet paper was asked why I needed it. I told the lady o needed it so I could wipe me ass. She told me they had no water.....o told I didn't ask for water. She proceeded to tell me that their bathroom was out of order. I said I want to buy toilet paper and go home . She then told me the toilet paper was on isle 5 , it wasn't. She then came and told me if I didn't leave she was calling the cops.so I left and went to the Chevron station ...I HAD NO PROBLEM BUYING TOILET PAPER IN LESS THAN 10 SECONDS!
I refilled a prescription by phone, was told it would be ready the next day- when I came to pick it up, I was told it would be ready the next day (today)-and now, I’m again told it will be ready tomorrow. The side affects of missing a dose of this medicine are bad-I now have to call around town and drive to try and get a refill today to avoid the negative side effects. The technician made no effort to help me do this. Don’t say it will be ready if it’s not going to. I’m never having a prescription filled here again.
The pharmacy staff is in credibly rude! I don’t know if it’s because I’m young, but I am still a customer! The cashier didn’t want to help me and had an awful attitude. She grabbed my medicine and rudely said “do you have insurance, because if not, it’ll be $60.” I forgot my insurance card so I said “I’ll be right back, i have to run to my apartment” and then she said they were closed and slammed the metal gate in front of me. Incredibly rude. I have never been treated this poorly by any customer service employee.
Ugh, hate that my insurance prefers CVS. Used to go to the horrible one on E 11th and they bulldozed that to the ground. Thought this location on E Riverside might be different but it’s even worse. I have to chalk it up to being a CVS problem in general at this point. They always seem understaffed, even pre Covid and aren’t as technologically advanced as Walgreens as far as efficiency and streamlining. It’s just kinda the worst. But yea, go here if you like ridiculously long lines and long hold times!
Over a 20 minute wait in the drive thru for one prescription (The whole transaction took less than 1 minute). the pharmacy tech didn’t even apologize for the wait or say anything except for asking about the dob and name. no consultation for the first time using this prescription. Every time i’ve had to go to this pharmacy there has been an issue. worst customer service from all the cvs I’ve had to go through. Definitely will be changing to a different more inconvenient location.
I forever have issues with this pharmacy. They never have my prescriptions ready even weeks after they have been sent in. Or they tell me they don't have any prescriptions for me even after I get confirmation from my doctor that it's been electronically sent. They tell me their are holds on my Rx which is why they weren't filled but fail to notify you of any issues. Wait time on the phone is always so long. Nothing about this pharmacy is convenient.
If i could give this place 0 starts i would. Absolute garbage. Got a covid test for travel, couldn't get into their accounts online so i spent half a day trying to get a hold of someone. All they have is automated messages without the choice to speak to someone. Went in in person and they said there is nothing they can do to help me and to call the same number that is just the automated person. No help, no results, CVS is horrible.
If you don’t have to use this CVS, don’t, the bad reviews on here are what I’ve been experiencing for a year now. Regular customer and pulled this review screen up so many times, but told myself I’d keep giving them chances. Save yourself the frustration. Only positive is that no one uses it, so they have most of everything you want, the service is beyond poor though and makes it not worth it from my experiences
The manager “Ramon Rivera” is extremely friendly and proficient. This is my home pharmacy and I’ve noticed that every time he’s working not only do things operate smoothly but even the whole staff seems to be in a better mood. I appreciate his professionalism and always remembering my name despite seeing so many people every day. Very refreshing to meet a hard working man with a good attitude and constant smile!
Love their minute clinic, the pharmacy on the other hand was very disappointing. I only need something for an upcoming surgery and was told the price when I dropped it off. After waiting 35 minutes in the drive thru, she told me it was double what I was originally was told and that I can find a coupon and pull around again. Just not the experience I had the first time and sad about it. Sorry to be a Karen lol.
Absolute worst! They call me 2 weeks early to tell me script is ready. They don't answer the phone to tell them. Then when you go to pick up your scripts half of them are returned to stock and then they charge you double the price to get them back. When you ask why the price change, they tell me contact insurance. Then 2 weeks later back to normal price and ready for pickup. Stay away from this CVS
This review is solely to shout out Ramon in the pharmacy. I came in on a day they were understaffed. I was heated because I had been on hold all day and I was just trying to update my insurance & make sure a refill was ordered. Ramon was both a calming presence, and a force to get me help ASAP. It ended up being a great experience for me at this CVS and it is almost entirely due to his efforts
I am an existing pharmacy customer that tried to get a new prescription filled. They took my information and instructed me to wait. After 1.5 hours, I walked out. While I was waiting, there was no communication whatsoever on the status of the fill. If the criteria is based on customer satisfaction, this location should be on the list of the 900 stores to close.
Allways super busy, it reflects on their attentiveness. While there are a few polite staff members, the overall customer service just lacks. Spent the last three days trying to get information on my son's medication, only to be hung up on over and over again after waiting hours on hold. I ended up transferring the prescription to the HEB across the street.
I know East Riverside can be a rough ride but no excuse for extremely rude staff and unending phone holds. My medication totaled over $200 which seemed unreasonably high, so I left without. It turns out I was able to find the same medication at H.E.B. for $10 & the staff was friendly and helpful. As Smokey Robinson once sang, "you better shop around"!
They crush the Walgreens on Riverside, but they can't seem to quite keep ahead of the inconsiderate customers that make a mess of the place inside and out. Walgreens is just surrounded by riff raff and panhandlers (not just homeless) and CVS manages to keep a family friendly parking lot. As you can see, my standards aren't too high for east Riverside.
Kind staff and good selection for the slightly smaller, older store that it is. The CVS app pay worked great! -- which I can't say for all CVSs. Btw, "Open 24 hours" means the store, NOT the pharmacy, so don't misunderstand, as other reviewers have done. Given all the one-way streets in Austin, this store was especially easy to get into and out of.
If you need a medication quickly, don't use this pharmacy. Writing this review in pain because they couldn't get mine fulfilled in time. I called them on the phone and while polite they seemed very unsure of themselves. I will never have a prescription sent here again. --- Update: They finally filled the prescription. It took 5 days. Unacceptable.
Marc the Manager was unable to ring up a product carried in his store. He put it on his vendor and basically said there's nothing he can do to help me. Pretty lazy and unprofessional. He also wouldn't let me buy the product. I'm forced to go to a competitor because of incompetence. And it's probably not his incompetence but the store manager.
This is not for the store are the hole pharmacy staff.. Im only giving 5 stars to one pharmacist (Latriese) that all ways take her time out to explain meds to me and more. She has always been so kind and patient even when she is so busy and she does not rush you when she helping.. I just had to let people know the phamacy is not always bad..
It’s always a miracle to me that there are so many CVS’s in the country, as they are always unfailingly one of the worst retail experiences in America. I came here for passport photos, which apparently are broken (I saw someone taking totally functional passport photos last week). The whole place is just such a clusterf**k is honestly sad.
Worst cvs I have ever been to. Every single prescription has been a pain to get. They lost my script, they promise things will be ready and multiple trips later it still isn't. They are rude on the drive through. It's just a nightmare to try and get a prescription filled and picked up. I never want to pick up medication here ever again.
I just moved into the area and wanted to transfer my prescriptions here from a CVS up north. I sat on hold for 15 minutes trying to talk to a pharmacist and then got hung up on. Needless to say, I won’t be transferring my prescriptions here. After reading the other reviews, I would just rather drive back up north to get them …
By far the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. I will never get my prescriptions at this location again. They have messed up my order multiple times, even charging me for subscriptions that I didn’t want to be refilled. The pharmacist lady is extremely rude and so are the staff. They also don’t answer the phone when you try to call.
Just terrible. Wait times in store are ridiculous. Forgot about contacting them on the phone. Waited 2 hours on hold before giving up. Had issues in the past where they lost my insurance info and didn’t refill my prescription and simply didn’t tell me. I had to call in and ask. I’m switching to HEB pharmacy and never looking back.
Ramon provided the absolute best care I’ve ever received from a pharmacy in my life. I’m extremely grateful to have had him behind the counter tonight. Outgoing, empathetic, friendly and just a really good person. I watched how he treated every customer with the utmost respect. Thank you Ramon, I appreciate you!
I came into to pick up meds that were called in early morning they told me they would be fill in one hour! Sat here waiting for hour got back into line she said they just received them on the que and it would be another hour as people in line meds hasn’t been filled they just filling them but won’t fill mine !
If Ramon weren't so nice and actually good at what he does, I'd probably come into this location yelling every single time. The problem is that Ramon is the ONLY person there that seems to know what he's doing and actually seems to want to help you. Dealing with CVS makes me want to harm kittens.
Have been trying to get my script filled for days now and have called at least 10 times to try to talk to a human. They never answered and kept answering and hanging up - so I went there in person and can confirm that they don’t even try to answer their phones and don’t even try to help.
Prescriptions always on hold. They never answer the phone. Have to go several times in person to get them to finally process your prescription. If you need a refill you basically have to harass them for 5 days prior to your meds running out or you’ll be left dry for several days.
Booked a COVID test for 930am. Drove 20mins to get it and then was told there’s no one here to administer it. Told me to “just reschedule” with no apology and wouldn’t help me do it - just told me I’d have to do it online. Rude, unapologetic, worst CVS I’ve been to by far.
The first cvs was out of the time sensitive RX I needed so we checked with this pharmacy and they said they had it and it would be filled within two hours. 4 hours later including an hour wait at the pharmacy itself - and now they say they sold out and have to order it.
Prescriptions are never ready on time, even when you call in for a prescription, even when you show up in person and speak to a person at the counter. And, auto-refills never auto-refill. Yesterday a refill i was expecting was scheduled a month away.
This CVS has always had the medicine I need, even when other pharmacies have run out. They have filled prescriptions quicker than most other pharmacies I have had experience with as well. The service was terrific, and I have had no problems with it.
I came to visit Austin and had to use this cvs unfortunately! It is disgusting I felt unsafe and unhealthy in what's supposed to be a clean healthy environment its an nightmare! Most disgusting I have been too. Rude staff! They roll their eyes alot!
Received the most attentive service from the pharmacist today. Even when there was a busy line he made sure everyone knew they were taken care of. Went in for a flu shot but I will definitely be back for all my pharmacy needs because of him.
This is, bar none, the worst pharmacy I've ever used. They never answer their phones, they can take literally days to fill prescriptions, and my prescriptions are rarely ready when I show up (after getting a notification that they're ready).
I went here for four times they lost my prescription and didn't gave me my medicine, in 5th times I went again and wanted diabetes medicine but they gave me mental medicine and I must to go again doctor . Do NOT to go here they kill people
Every time I fill a script online they say “please call to fill” and then have me on hold for 30 minutes. And then are rude as if you’re not being forced to call by THEM. It’s ancient and infuriating and wildly inefficient
There’s plenty of reasons that other reviewers gave this location one-star. I wish I personally paid more attention to it! One of the worst pharmacy experiences ever. Save yourself the headache and find a better location.
Pharmacy has been terribly understaffed you wait on the phone forever and in person I asked them to order a medication 2 days ago after fighting with insurances for a week now it’s approved but they’ve yet to order…
Do not use self check out!!! People ring stuff up and leave then when you use it you get charged and it takes 20 minutes for the cashiers to find the items you were falsely charged for and refund you. Stay away!!!
I went in for my Mom to get some products she needed for a medical procedure she has coming up. I thought they were going out of business because half of store looked unstocked. But they didn't have her stuff.
You know you're in a great part of town when the $3 air fresheners are locked up. Had to get the only cashier to walk across the store and free the precious item creating a backed up line in the process.
CVS is located in east riverside, so you know it’s not going to be the cleanest CVS. Still shop here from time to time. There are always shopping baskets and both self check stations work fine
The staff isn't very knowledgable of their merchandise. The pharmacy is almost always understaffed. That said, both the staff and pharmacy attendents are very friendly and try their best.
Do not print your photos here. It’s says high quality but the photos they printed for me were washed out and low quality. They were also way too expensive. I will never print here again.
Any time you call the pharmacy the hold time is long which is understandable since they are under staffed. What’s unacceptable is them hanging up on you once you do finally get through.
Standing at the checkout counter for 15 minutes and still waiting. Employees are uncaring about having a long line while all 3 are around the makeup section sitting around
No one around who works there to help out. Had to go to the pharmacy to have them page someone. Both employees were in the office. Very confusingly organized.
The assistant manager or supervisor, whoever he was, was unbelievably rude. I needed to return an unused phone charger that I bought yesterday at another
Can I give zero stars? I have been on hold for 45 minutes trying to get someone in the pharmacy. Over an hour if you include the second phone I have used.
I went to a competitor down the street. Let's call them Con-greens. For a lidocaine mouth wash they wanted $80. Had it transferred to CVS for $8 total.
Everyone in the pharmacy works extremely hard for the number of customers they now have and do their best to help customers. They are super friendly.
People that work there are to busy to help you if you need consultation... Only one older men was so nice to do it and I'm grateful for that …
The current employees were Rude, judgmental, and liars. I hope their karma actually teaches them to uphold the value of respect, and integrity.
The staff is hit or miss but the selection is great (including the CVS generics) and they can fill your prescription as good as any pharmacy.
Love this CVS. It is 24 hour and has a great selection of items. Does not sell ciggarettes ot tobacco products however like Walgreens does.
They don’t develop film at this location. They said they’ve been waiting on requested supplies to be shipped to the store for awhile.
Everything is very expensive here, then Walmart, H‑E‑B, Walgreens. I am not recommending any one to buy special medicines from cvs.
Dominic was very friendly, he greeted customers and smiled. He did an excellent job of making me feel welcome and was efficient.
Great pharmacy if you want to see the staff 4-5 times a month because they can't get it together enough to fill a prescription.
THE CVS company really needs to have more than two people working here. Stood in line for an hr. Just to get my prescription
The pharmacist at this location and all the staff really, were outstanding. Their compassion was one of a kind thank you.
CVS, is always your go to place for quick items, and of course your meds if that's where you choose to pick up from.
Worst customer service ever. Did not want to help with greyhound ticket purchase, when clearly they sell the tickets
Pharmacy here probably has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Continually messed up my prescription.
Money order machine doesn’t work, didn’t have passport camera, pharmacy is a mess. Supply chain issues abound here.
4 people wandering around in the pharmacy while I waited 15 minutes in line inside. drive-through service was rude
The pharmacy staff are really nice, but there's sometimes a longish wait. The store itself seems a bit run down.
The pharmacist was entirely unprofessional and just rude cause she’s busy! No ma’am Bt have a great day!
Stay away I warned you. So many homeless people are begging outside and are threatening shoppers.
Worst cvs. Pharmacy wait times are insane. The keep you on hold for hours and then hang up
If I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would. They are the absolute worst.
It took a few times but am happy with inside Pharmacy The Store sucks
Waited 45 min for my flu shot appointment. Don’t waste your time
Always great service Good team Quick and Easy
Sometimes the line just takes forever
