I decided to grab a take away coffee from this cafe. The service was friendly and happy. My strong skinny latte was good, the coffee had a nice flavour. The price was reasonable and I'd happily go back again. Previous review - 25 April 2018 I'd just been to the Anzac Day service and I was keen for a coffee. Driving down Bridge Road i saw this cafe open before 7am and on a public holiday! Yay! Hahaha Most cafes weren’t open until 7am today. I was greeted by the most lovely lady who was much more friendly and cheerful than I was at the time lol My strong skinny latte was perfect, not too hot, and amazingly good. I sat and I was offered some water which was really nice. I hope everyone’s Anzac Day starts as well as mine!

A great cafe. I had the BLT and it was amazing. The bread was toasted on the inside, which was so nice and everything was perfectly done and balanced. I also got some things for takeaway which was no problem for them. The coffee was good. But the service was great - family run it seems. And they were good at their jobs, very efficient and kind. The food took no time and all and was brilliant. I would definitely recommend this cafe if you're in the area. A very nice experience!

Cafe Azul is such an unassuming cafe on Bridge Road. It's not as fancy as others around it but it's definitely worth a visit. It's an old, rustic fit out and you'll be greeted by by very warm, friendly staff who I believe are the owners who run it. The food here is very flavoursome and filling with food size servings. Imagine new age breakfast done the way your mum use to make food, with lots of flavour! Coffee is good and they have seating inside, out front and a courtyard out back. Worth a stop and try

Cafe Azul, is a small quaint little cafe on Bridge Road in Richmond Victoria. It has a small out front table area with a lovely court yard out back where doggies can come along and join in! The customer service here is second to none . I mean, they literally fall over themselves to provide an incredible service. They are so friendly, accommodating and attentive. The food is just delicious from a variety of pastries, cakes, sandwiches, hot food to choose from. The chef here really takes pride in the presentation of his work and it's hard to just go in and buy a coffee ☕.

azul is a local gem! great spot for very well priced food and drinks given the generosity of meal sizes and friendly service. we always stop by here for a coffee or simple and cosy breakfast. today we got the usual harvest breakfast (perfect combo with the pesto and halloumi) and the granola bowl. staff are extremely accommodating to any alternatives/modifications to the menu and food will come out fresh and fast. thanks always azul!

Cosy atmosphere and wonderful food. We had made a booking and was seated quickly with immediate coffee orders taken. Fast service for coffees to arrive and kept flowing through out the morning. The food was prompt and wonderfully presented. I had the BLT with egg, the sandwich was super fresh and the bread was lovely. Friends got the pancakes (not for the faint hearted!) and asked for the flavour of icecream to be substituted with no problems. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back. What a hidden gem!

Nice place, but the staff don't wear masks properly. They are either under their chin or under their nose. Their customers and suppliers must copy this, because there is a constant stream of people walking in and around inside the cafe without masks on, or not worn properly, whilst the staff are doing the same. We may not have many Covid cases around at the moment, but this is the law. What part of put a mask on your face does this cafe not get?

Beyond delicious food and wonderful customer service. The menu was extensive and included a plethora of delicious options- I couldn’t choose what to eat! I settled on the Harvest which was INCREDIBLE. Loved the whole vibe of the cafe and the outdoor seating (kinda wish there weren’t bees flying around though!)

The Quesadilla Rancheros didn't come with any 'Spicy Chilli Verde', instead.. it was sitting on swirls of mayonnaise - which did not pair well with it and wasn't nice at all, it ruined it. I wish they would have told me. I took two bites of the quesadilla and that's it. Luckily there was some avo and a side of bacon I bought so I didn't leave starving. Coffee was amazing though.

This is a lovely cosy cafe. The only drawback is you need to order, pay and take a seat. There's no table service. It's a tiny cafe so I'm not sure why table service is not on offer. It would be easily manageable. Great for a quick coffee on the go. I couldn't recommend it for much else from my experience though. Its not to say they don't offer more but I've not experienced it.

Yummy! I was wondering up and down Bridge Rd not sure what to get for lunch (I don't normally find myself this side of town). Saw the lunch menu here and my gut said "YES!". Cosy decor, warm friendly staff and yummy food. I ended up choosing the lentil dahl - simple yet delicious but very satisfying. There's a variety of choices here so I definitely plan to come back and try.

Cafe for the church as everytime I come here there seems to a service on. So note that it gets busy. Came for coffee and cake and were not disappointed. Nice courtyard to sit in the autumnal sun and soak up. Dietaries catered for. Service was pretty good with lovely staff. Takeaway available. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Prams and stroller accessible. Good parking.

Cafe Azul is one of my favourite cafes in Richmond. The staff are always friendly and efficient, no matter how busy it is, and both the coffee and food are great. I love the courtyard out the back too, as it's a great space for dogs and kids (though you'll probably need to enter from the back laneway rather than Bridge Rd if you've got a dog or a bulky pram with you).

Paid 11$ for large coffee and 2 "toast" size bread "thin"slices.. they are super expensive for no reason. I had asked for sourdough and they got me teeny weeny toast size slices foe which they charged 7$ plus 55c as my cost wasnt above 15$ which is weird as i didnt knew cafes charge surplus if the charge is over 10.. super unhappy not worth visiting again ever.

Quick, healthy, and a simple brunch place around Richmond. It's a lovely place with an amazing backyard that's suitable for you to hangout with your friend/friends. My friend is a massive fan of their Acai Bowl, to which I think they have one of the best Acai Bowl around Richmond. The coffee is just alright but they've got amazing and polite staff members.

Cafe Azul is a fantastic dog-friendly cafe that offers excellent food and coffee. Their courtyard is well-shaded and filled with water bowls, making it the perfect place for both humans and dogs to enjoy a meal. The food and coffee are delicious

We're locals and go here regularly. Been to a lot of breakfast venues in Melb but still think this place is the best. I particular like the Farmers Breakfast and their Steak Sandwich. It does not seem to matter what day it is but they're always busy. The staff are great and the service is superb. Highly recommend this place

Great place which gets pretty busy on weekend mornings - there’s a church nearby so loads of people rock up after service which can make it tricky to get a table. Not a lot of space in the shopface up front but nice outdoor space out the back. Loads of selection on the menu, something for everyone.

Good little place, love the smashed avo poached egg. I wish there was a second egg on there though since there was enough avo and a second piece of toast to match. Coffee was pretty nice too. Outdoor seating option in the back was perfect

Was probably the best breakfast I have ever had in my life. Food was perfect and the drinks were delicious. The establishment is very beautiful in itself and the people who work there seemed genuinely friendly. The price was normal for Melbourne and definitely worth what you pay.

Works for me. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The Breakfast Piadina was really delicious and had a slight hint of heat which complemented the lightly fried egg and the bacon. Nice friendly staff and the value was terrific. Worth searching out and trying this tasty and great value dish.

Over charged for the Salad, priced 17 but charged for 24, only able to found out by requesting receipt afterwards. Also found plastic in Salad!☹️

Breakfast here was delicious for everyone. I had the fritters and they were great. Perfect portion size. I enjoyed the caramel milkshake and my friends loved the coffee. There is plenty of seating in an open courtyard out the back, so don't just walk past if it looks full.

Changed hands retaining old staff so food and coffee quality is as good as ever. March 2022: Still excellent. Very friendly service!

What a great little cafe! Seasonal menu and their standard menu has plenty of options. Don't let the small front deceive you - there's a fantastic courtyard out back which is good if you have a couple of kids. Porridge was beautiful and great coffee too.

Best cafe in the neighborhood! I'd put 10 stars if I could. Staff is absolutely adorable, food is beyond delicious (Rubenesque with house fries especially) and the atmosphere is awesome, especially in the outdoor area. Will definitely come back!

Many cafe's on Bridge Rd come and go, these guys have stuck around because they are awesome! Organic fresh food, quick service and friendly. Great outdoor backyard seating area. Truly love this place and it's my go to cafe in all of Richmond!

I have breakfast here frequently and enjoy the relaxed feel of the place. The staff are lovely and the food and coffee is consistently good. Their porridge is my go to dish. Great place to bring my parents as well when they come to visit.

I absolutely love this place. I have tried a lot of cafes in Melbourne and the breakfast's here are amazing. Love the pancakes, Corn fitters and other breakfasts are excellent as well. Coffee is fab as is the freshly squeezed OJ .

Food was below average for Melbourne, coffee was milky, cold and flavourless. The kitchen seemed swamped and unable to process orders quickly. Overall it was just ok. Not good or bad just ok. There are far better options around.

Lived in Richmond years ago, and this was my go to café. Was so happy to come back and see that the food quality and service is still very good. Ruebenesqe sandwich is very good. Also a great ranch of very tasty sweet treats.

This cafe has everything you could want in a cafe but none of the pretentious rubbish you get with some Bridge Road cafes. More cafes should be like this one. Go there! You won't be disappointed!

Good coffee, friendly staff, healthy options on menu, nice little court yard at back, but tables need to be cleaned better. Our meals were nice, chips were a let down, and were swimming in oil!

Order eggplant parmigiana- it was half warm and half cold and I really dislike cold food. The taste was nice and good value for money. The coffee was really milky so not the best in Richmond.

The coffee and Banana Shake were quite good. They serve impressive quantities. This dish which I believe was the scrambled egg, was flavourful and filling.
