Waited here for half hour to get a precooked chicken curry and a burger meal… chips on side with no tomato sauce of course. The lady brought a separate plate with bacon saying: we forgot to put bacon in your burger. No apologies at all. Why do I come to a restaurant if I want to make my own burger? No one asked me if I want tomato sauce. This is kind of service you will get at this cafe. If you are after a quick lunch, don’t come here. Forgot to say the eftpos machine did not work so cash only. I propose PayID and the lady had no idea what payID is. She had to call people. Happy for the owner to upload cctv. OMG this is how the business owner receives negative reviews. After grabbing money from customers, no improvement but warning and harassment. Please provide the video that I bullied your staff. How can all the other customers happy after seeing me bullying your staff? Nonsense. My 7yo son was crying so I asked how long we need to wait for and the lady said “preparing” and walked away. Usual response… Other ppl showed sympathy to us but obviously the staff don’t care. They can easily say sorry this takes a while why don’t you change to something quick. No nothing. Just because I am Asian and a working mum?

I asked to make a wrap, fairly straight forward but not worth the $12.50 just had simple chicken some withered lettuce leaves, carrot, beetroot and avocado. The very small and thin wrap that maccas use, was so dry to bite and swallow and the filling just fell out because nothing was sticking it together. When u make a wrap with avocado u spread it generously on the bread so everything sticks. There was maybe 2 very small slices of avocado..that's it! Not mashed. Really skimmed on quantity and effort to make it worth the price. Had to explain how its done and lady just couldn't understand and even answered me back .she fixed it but didnt come to see if i was happy... get some lessons on a decent wrap for the expensive price! No other cafe is open in the street on a sunday so they can charge what they like..Poor service. I just read your response, please look back on some of your reviews, if u want to improve u don't say don't come back, I'm a local. Improvement and more customer satisfaction by engaging is one step forward. You made no contact after my meal if I was happy.

Tucked away on a quiet corner, this small, bright cafe, opposite the railway tracks in Blackburn, boasts a cheery white and yellow decor, guaranteed to lift your spirits. I said I came for breakfast but told & given lunch order too by male. First visit as my regular cafe up the road was closed on Mon. I usually visit it on w/end. Ordered and ate eggs florentine and organic tea. Eggs were poached well. Spinach runny. English crumpet untoasted and soggy. Hollaindaise was cold and bland. Tea was just a cheap tea bag instead of brewed tea for $5.00. Good customer service by waitress but a bit taken aback when asked to pay before meal arrived ‘to avoid their rush hour’. The cafe was not busy whilst I was there and I only saw 1 new customer walk in for the duration of my stay. Was disappointed. Accustomed to better. Will ensure I visit my usual next time.

The true meaning of owner operated. This little corner Cafe run by a local husband and wife is the essence of Aussie battlers! With a string Phillipino influence to freshness and service, and having a hard time finding good staff... ( but who isn't)... they don't let the stress of small business transfer to their food or service... Having been in hospitality myself and until recently owned my own small family business...Cafe Cachet is doing tough but fantastically! Get there for the best Chicken Schnitzel sandwich in town and enjoy a smiling face and chat... I know I will be! 5️⃣✨️

Walking on Railway Parade we discovered this hidden gem.wirh $11 takeaways, $15 dine in. We ordered the pork adobo, a traditional Philippino diish and found out Chef Cherie,with Philippina heritage, makes this classic! Barrista Ryan , front of house is welcomi g and turns out the warm couple have many loyal fans! A 90 year m and her daughter enjoying coffee outside the Cafe swore allegiance to the Cafe!!.great to.see

Staying locally on a visit from Uk. Visited here 3-4 times for breakfast- absolutely delicious! Beautifully served, generous portions, lovely staff and excellent service. This morning was our final visit before returning to the Uk and we sat outside in the sunshine and enjoyed it all as usual. Many thanks.

Popped in there to pick up lunch yesterday, Super Impressed !! Very Very friendly people working in there, prompt service, very tasty food. The Zaartar Melt was HUGE, topped off with a blue heaven thickshake. Great place and i will be back again. Really happy to support a small business like this where they take soo much pride on the food and service they give everyone that walks in the door

Cute hole in the wall type of place, the service was really good and it seemed they had quite a few regulars come in which is always a good sign. Got pancakes and a hot chocolate here awhile ago and had nothing to complain about with them. However the hot chocolate was one of my favourites I’ve had.

Very busy little cafe, they're lovely people there always very pleasant. I have be there a number of times. The hot chocolate is delicious on a cold day, the young lady mix up the order. A big thank you to the barista for stopping me drinking the wrong one. I'm lactose intolerance I wouldn't have got back to Altona Meadows …

This place is awesome, the food is amazing and the service even better. I like my breakfast a certain way and they hit the nail on the head every time. .

Lovely people and great Coffee Sherry always makes the perfect coffee for me. Hot as I like it. The pork adobo and lasagne are my lunch go favourites. Give it a go.

I ordered a chicken, avocado with mayo and spinach wrap with a banana smoothie. I can see why this place has a great reputation in providing high quality food and service. The meal and smoothie was flawless. I ordered a Thai chicken curry to takeway for dinner tonight. Can't wait.

Great staff. Great coffee at slightly cheaper prices than all nearby cafes. Big selection of home made cakes and hot food. The takeaway prepared dishes for re-heating at home are really good value for money. Try the Thai curry and also the Filipino style adobo

Great food and great service as an affordable price. I've enjoyed their foccasias, big breakfast, steak sandwich and eggs royale on many occasions. Their drinks are also not to miss in particular the ice coffee and the seasonal fresh juices.

Love coming here, always such nice service and easy to talk to! Me and a friend come here regularly for drinks. One of the best Mango Smoothies around, and the food is pretty great too! Plenty of seating and open on Saturdays

This cafe is amazing! They cater so well for specialty diets and especially gluten free ! They are so friendly and attentive and have the best Mango chai latte! Love going here for a quick bite ! Thoroughly recommend it

On Wednesday 9th October I called in for some lunch, was welcomed by two friendly staff members. Specials and menu were explained, ordered a pasta and a sausage roll.

The manager kindly accommodated a request for vegan style food. A vegetarian foccacia was freshly made and it was reported as delicious. More
