Used to love coming to this cafe, the food was great but will not return due to the way we were treated,(returning customers mind you) ordered a big breakfast as I have previously many times before, when asked if we could have our eggs replaced as they were over done and we have never receive them like that before, nothing nasty, we were screamed out by a little Asian guy whom than storm back into the kitchen and came back with our plate not new eggs (same eggs) with some yoke spelt over the top and continued to belittle us Infront of the entire cafe, no replacement of eggs were offered just a barrage of him carrying on regarding thats how eggs are cooked, asked for a refund as the way we're spoken too (screamed at) was uncalled for, he than got our money and slammed it on the table, absolutely disgusting customer service and definitely will not be going back there!!

Love this place. It's even a little quirky. Order at register, handed a table number, go pick a table and wait for your food or coffee. Love it! This place is about the food and coffee. If you want table staff to drool all over your new Gucci Handbag, go elsewhere they are way too busy for that. Can get very noisy but that's part of something called atmosphere. I've been coming here since 2012, never had bad food, coffee is strong, with a kick, jyst ask for 1/2 strength if you like a mild coffee. Some days, weekends, I've counted 12-14 staff so they must be doing okay. Love their scrambled eggs ☺

Nicely located on a corner of the shopping area, Cafe Lucio is a nice place to come for any meal plus they have a good takeaway menu. Last week I had a toasted sandwich and pot of tea - very nice sitting outside in the warm sun on a winters day. Have eaten here before and did enjoy coming here with a friend and their son too. He had a nice kids breakfast which caters nicely for kids. Staff were very helpful which in light of the amount of patrons, they did a good job. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Good parking.

A excellent breakfast at Cafe Lucio. I had the breakfast burger, my husband had bacon and eggs. The food was delicious, the service was efficient, the staff were fabulous. We were looked after by Ava, who made sure we had a great dining experience.

Excellent service. All the staff are very friendly, down to earth and welcoming. I've only had takeaway lately due to covid restrictions but the coffee is really good and they make a great toasted egg and bacon sandwich or roll. Since restrictions have lifted there is always a lot of people dining in which is a good sign and whilst waiting for my cuppa, the meals I saw being table served looked incredible. Love it.

There are outdoor areas under umbrellas, but the smoking area is right next to the non smoking area, so you get the cigarette smoke anyway. It's nit table service, you go up and order, but the staff are friendly and helpful. There are a couple of high chairs available, first come first serve. Very noisy inside and the aircon left something to be desired. Parking is plentiful, but poorly laid out and you can get trapped waiting for cars to clear the way to get out or in.

I have been going there for a while now as a regular place to get my morning coffee before I go to work and the service is amazing. The staff are always helpful and kind to me. I'm a person who will only like getting a coffee from a place that has respect and makes people feel welcome. And Cafe Lucio is one of them. The over all quality of this venue is highly credited in my personal opinion! Keep up the great work to everyone of Cafe Lucio!!!

I had chicken parma with Avocado and it was great. The hot chocolate I had was not that good though. I like the ambience of the please as it has large seating area and good location

If I could give a lower review I would , from the minute I walked in I had been treated with complete utter disrespect from the start. I requested to change my table number and was unsuccessful due to the store not allowing me to . I had fully paid for my meals + drinks and had left without receiving anything I would strongly and utterly advise you not to go to this cafe

Outstanding Coffee and Service! I recently visited cafe lucio, and I was blown away by the quality of their coffee and the exceptional service. The barista Maggie were friendly and knowledgeable, and the coffee was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend stopping by for a cup of their amazing brew. 10/10!

Went and bought my usual 2 coffee's for the day and was questioned about my free coffee. Been going there for over 20 years and never had such appalling service. The girl behind the register was so rude, if they don't want to provide a free coffee after the 9th one you purchase they should not provide the service - simply as that. Dora

Walked in very noisy so if you like a quiet cafe this is not the café for you.. orderd two latte's very average it was more of a cap with a side of chicken avocado sandwich that was soggy tissues came out dirty. Staff were OK friendly they give a good vibe to the place, but also hygiene needs to be looked at more

Great cafe, been going here for a number of years. Food is always good and the wait staff are excellent, regardless of how busy the cafe is. This is a fantastic place to have a meal.

First time here and the atmosphere on a Saturday was nice. Food was great and prices were reasonable but the table service was bad. When we received our order, the waitress who obviously didnt want to be there had dumped the plates in front of us. Im happy to come back but hopefully to good table service

Went in for a coffee with some friends. You order from the counter, get a number and select a table. Order's delivered to the table and service is relatively quick. With a medium number of patrons, noise is an issue. Good quality food and menu has many dishes to choose from. Staff were very pleasant.

This joint tugt me not to trust a pop off I asked for soy but they give me full cream. I been drinking soy for a long time so it all kinda tats like cow to me now so I don’t think anything of it but when I messed my pants shortly after I knew it was not soy. Had to go to laundromat stat afte that

Bustling, friendly atmosphere, with indoor and outdoor seating. Extensive menu and very reasonably priced. I had the very fancy raisin toast, very highly recommend-two Slices with plenty of butter, always a plus! Coffee was very good. Highly recommend ya pop in and see for yourself.

Lucio's is an institution. It can be relied on for great service, great all day breakfast and excellent chili prawns. A great way to spend a Sunday arvo, watching the world go by or get lost in good company and good conversation.

A great cafe with great coffee. Staff are friendly, professional and helpful. There are indoor and outdoor tables. Plenty of parking spots around. Their breakfast and lunch menu has a good variety of meals. Highly recommended!

They serve quick, and staff are polite, but it was really disappointing experience. They use supermarket quality not cafe one, Like hash brown and bread. They just put things in a dish with considering the flavours.

Terrible Coffee, asked for an almond piccolo first attempt milk came out curtled, sent back and waitress was not apologetic. Second attempt, piccolo tasted quite awful and burnt, took a sip and left.

Looks like a cafe, but the food is above cafe level and the coffee is fantastic and the staff are great. Better coffee than any I've ever had in London except Nobu in Shoreditch.

Stopped by to my new local cafe. Cafe Lucio had very helpful and friendly staff, and I ordered a typical brunch of eggs, bacon and toast. I'm glad I have a tasty place close by.

Pricing of the coffee is good. But unfortunately the taste is on the “BITTER” side. Hopefully one day a new & “smoother replacement bean”will take over from the current bean !?

Bought 2 Medium Lattes that tasted like slightly flavoured milk. Most likely only used one shot. Which in my books is ripping people off won’t go back there again

Usually no frills breakfast but they served an omelette once in a scrambled form with the shape of the circle pan. It is like they are not even trying at all....

Not somewhere I eat regularly, only as a special treat when I catch up with a friend. The pasta with chicken, avocado and cream is the BEST in Melbourne!
