It was clear that I was a big inconvenience to come in and ask to order a drink. I asked if they had a toilet and they smirked at me saying "yes of course' quite sarcastically. I then had to be a bit clearer and ask "where is it please?" To which they gave me directions letting me know I was inconveniencing the chat the two members of staff were having. I then pay for my drinks, set my stuff at my table and go to the toilets to discover I needed a key. Surely good customer service would be to have let me know that already. So I go back and ask "do I need a key for the toilets?" And they huff and puff to have to unlock the toilet for me. Which by the way the toilets are disgusting. They haven't been cleaned in a long long time. I dont often use cafe Nero but I now have a valid reason to avoid in future. The coffee was OK. Definitely put off using again. I would imagine other locations may be better but this isn't the one at all.

I think it was my first and last visit from Nero ! I heard a lot and first time in life went this location. The only star is belong to the nice staff who serving people in shop. From outside second place was looking as closedown business, inside not clean, I tried to seat behind the window but as it was dirty we chose different side but , seats, tables, walls are dirty as well , and worse thing was damaged cup , which u will see all in photos I’ll upload. We couldn’t enjoy from our coffees and time we was there. Anyway I count that business owner issue as they don’t want spend money and just get reacher.(u will loss customer, bad reputation will reduce your customer, and of course u will get harder to your workers [as u don’t want increase staff in the place] then u will loss staff and will get bad reputation between workers. U know all this and get this free reminder business advising from me . Hopefully u

I love a Caffé Nero haul where always possible and one of the most awesome UK coffee joints I've visited. Cute, quaint and homey laid back joint with a great vibe and very welcoming cosy seats with a great drinks menu and phenomenal plant based non-dairy milk alternatives at great fare. Dont forget your Nero rewards stamps! Earn an extra stamp by saving our beautiful planet and bringing your own reusable thermos. The single origin Brazil Espresso is a knockout and 100% worth the upgrade for sure. I love how Caffé Nero is a low fuss and down to earth coffee joint and never charges extra for non dairy milk options and has fantastic yummy vegan pastries! This location is definitely one of their most bustling joints for sure and a Hotspot for commuters so do prepare to wait.

So disappointed. Been going to Nero's over 10 years. Boy has it gone down hill. We wanted two hot soups, a bit of bread, a latte and a flat white - that's all. Waited at the counter 15 minutes for two cold soups, sorry no bread (so we had a croissant each instead), no spoons with the soup (until I asked) and no spoons with the coffees either (until I asked). No napkins either! She nattered to the other server, all the time ignoring me. No apology for anything. Please go elsewhere. This very poor. I felt like an inconvenience to them. Needless to say, I won't return.

Good quick service. Been here many times. Not as nice to sit in as some of the other cafe Nero places in Leeds but absolutely fine. There are more tables at the back and plug sockets if you are working. The one toilet can get a bit grim but that's because there is only one. Perfect location if on the way to the station, there is a cafe Nero in the train station but it's a small kiosk one which doesn't have everything so I tend to use this one instead.

This coffee shop is an absolute disgrace. Infested with flies. Walls filthy. Dust everywhere. Toilet vile. Tables never wiped clean. Coffee machine doesn't look like it's had a proper clean down most days. Fridges are dirty on the sides and inside. I honestly don't know why people continue to return to this place. It used to be run well but now it just looks neglected which is sad.

Love cafe Nero, always pop in for a quick brew. Really delicious caramel slices which helped me forget about how I ripped my brand new Jeans. However service was quite slow and as I have just recovered from serious knee surgery my doctor advised i shouldn't stand for more than half an hour. However the lady who helped me up from the floor was lovely with firm hands and I am feeling better after a short stay in hospital

Really bad experience. I've been visiting this Nero from the past years without problems. But on Saturday they decided to close 2hrs before, when I asked the reason they told me didn't know. But I couldn't stay with my friend who was already having a coffee inside. I ordered my coffee to take away anyway and later I found out they make the wrong coffee to me.

  • Shabia Shohida

Rude rude rude members of staff, I will never get my coffee from here again. Ordered my drink yday and batista she kiterally slammed my drink and said here you go! If I didn't have my kids with me I would have taken it up with the manager. Disgusting customer service. Absoloutely appalling l wish I got both of the girls names that were on yesterday.

Coffe Nero for me is more than coffe area. I'm going there when I'm happy, I'm going there when I'm sad, when I'm down about my feelings. I like this coffee shop because is part of my life. I'm alone that's why I'm going there to get feel free. I hope i could explain well because of my English.

Staff is brilliant in their job, but bit annoying that I cannot eat my own baguette when having their coffee. Their choice of baguette is simply not appealing and despite the fact that we like it there, we do not go there as often because of the ban on products from elsewhere, while still having their great drinks.

  • Daniel James

A bright, spacious cafe with eye catching décor, including book shelves, exposed brickwork, prints, wooden panelling and the now ubiquitous but aesthetically pleasing retro filament light bulbs. There are different seating options from the long communal table to bench seating and comfortable easy chairs and sofas.

Caffe mocha is always the top notch! Still thinks they use too much cinnamon on making banana and walnut cake tho.

Shocking inside, had to clean a table myself as every single one had used trays, cups etc on. Staff stood behind the counter doing nothing. Shame really as Nero coffee is really good.

Very busy but managed to find a couple of tall seats near the window. Quick & friendly service. Got my usual tomato & basil soup with sourdough bread. Very tasty and reasonably priced. I have used Cafe Nero in lots of different locations now and found them all to provide excellent service.

There's a trade-off here between comfy chair and good WiFi. Sit in the comfy chair and the WiFi is unreliable. Go to the front counter and it is good - well, it matters there where the payment systems work.

The Christmas season is fast approaching! This year we are OBSESSED with their festive collections. Our top two favourites are Luxury Black Forest mocha with whipped cream and Salted caramel brownie hot chocolate with whipped cream. Highly recommend these two specials to everyone!

It was really dirty and run down, the person serving was unkempt and looked really fed up, no smile, no welcome. Got order wrong with no apology.

Due to its proximity to the station, this Caffe Nero is always a bit scruffy and busy. If you sit at the back it's not so bad and you can do a bit of people watching if you sit near the window. Laynes is better, but also difficult to get in sometimes as it's always busy.

  • John Hannigan

Very friendly and relaxed place to either get take outs or chill inside. Have external seating too. I believe their coffees and teas are better than their competitors too. I visit weekly and apart from the furnishings looking a bit tired everything else is excellent.

  • Edoardo Rabascini

Friendly welcoming by the kind and nice Zozo and Flora.. Food of high quality. Two meals for us here. With the discount of Covid bonus it was perfect (thanks to Zozo that made us discover this one!!) Clean and fast. Good spaces in tables. We will be back

Often go here before work and the staff are really friendly and the coffee is good. I like the convenience of being able to pay on the app or order to pick up, especially if I'm in a rush.

Good coffee shop, I was there around 8.30 am so it was very busy, a never ending que of people waiting to be served and only one barista, this guy amazed me because he never faulted once (cool hand luke) well done mate what ever your name is.

  • Harriet

No idea what the drinks were like as didn't want to stay for more than 15 minutes waiting to be served. Staff ignored us instead of acknowledging we were waiting. Ran out of pastries and we went in at around 9.30am.

A shining example of how to do customer service right. It was a busy morning and there was a very long queue, but the staff kept their cool and happily asked everyone in the queue for their orders like they were the only customer!

Reliable national chain. Quick service and good food selection. Level access to about half of the available seating, no low-level service counter. Convenient and helpful opening times for nearby mass transit.

Reasonable coffee. Service was a bit slow as they only had one person on till. Had to wait for each order to be completed. The queue would have moved faster if the staff packing the shelf assisted to serve.

I often grab a hot drink from Cafe Nero on my way into work. Fast service and really good quality hot drinks. I've had a few of the cakes and pastries there occasionally and they are pretty nice too.

I was there on 19th October morning hours. There was only one barista at that time (blonde hair) and she very warm and helpful. Also, coffee was great. Thank you.

Service is always lovely. Could do with more sockets as I value this place to work in. Could do with more scone ranges to choose from. The brownies are lovely.
