I found Can Electric on Google and chose them because of their overall review rating and was not disappointed as well. When dealing with contractors in the past, I have been disappointed in their inability to provide a quote without coming on sight, at which time, they seem to price gouge as they are already there; however, Ari provided a quote over the phone and showed up within an hour to do some electrical work for us. He was doing such a good job that we inquired about a the cost of getting some additional electrical work done, which he provided an extremely reasonable price. He was extremely professional and enjoyable to deal with. I also appreciated that he had his mask fully covering his mouth and nose the entire time. Given the circumstances, it is uncomfortable inviting somebody into your home; however, it was nice not to have to ask or remind him about this. I would 100% call Ari again and have already recommended him to my parents. Do not hesitate to use Ari if you need some electrical work done.

I called Can Electric when I had a partial power failure in my home. Many circuits in my home were out while others were still working. No breakers had tripped but some important things weren't working like my furnace fan. Just a few minutes after calling, Ari was on his way. Then, power came back on in my home. I looked outside and sure enough, Edmonton power was in the box across the street although they weren't there when I had the failure because I checked there first. I didn't realize you could have a partial failure outage - I thought it was all or nothing. Anyway, I called Ari and he explained that you can have a partial failure caused by the power company. I asked him to send me an invoice for his time and the fact he was on his way but he wouldn't do it. I appreciate how quickly he was on the way and how generous he was in not expecting some payment for that. All I can say, is the next time I need electrical work done, I will be calling Can Electric to do it.

We hired Can Electric to install our Spa Kit for our Hot tub. We needed a load mieser as we didn't have enough room on our panel for it. They quoted us almost HALF of what another company quoted us. I applied for the electrical permit through the city and they took care of the rest. They were on time for our appointment, incredibly helpful and professional. They were quick and the final bill and the quote were identical. We had a small issue with the load mieser after our hottub was installed a few days later. I called them at 2pm on a Friday and they were there within a hour. I was shocked! I would have been happy with them coming the following Monday but they were so quick and made sure we had our tub up and running that whole weekend. They came back Tuesday to do the official fix but they didn't leave us hanging in the meantime. I would absolutely recommend them and use them again!!

We are so pleased with the services provided by Can Electrical Ltd. To begin with, they were the first ones (out of 5) to reply and come to our house for a free estimate. Out of the 5 companies contacted, the gave us the lowest price and there was never any mention of material being backordered which might cause delays. Can Electrical Ltd send an entire team to upgrade our electrical panel to 200 amps and install connections for our hot tub. They showed up right on time, they were very hard working, professional and courteous. When we were notified of a 2 weeks early delivery for our hot tub, we called on a short notice and Can Electrical send an electrician on delivery day to finalize hook ups. I hired this business to do a panel swap last year. I had the city inspector come for a different matter and he immediately flagged the panel which was done without a permit and without having Fortis turn off the power. This hot swapping was an extremely dangerous move for the crew as well as endangered my house. They also didn’t bring the panel up to current code which Ari, the business owner, flatly refused to rectify without significant additional payment. He argues that I didn’t pay for the permit knowing full well that he was at the very least responsible for ensuring that proof of a permit was required prior to commencing work. I had to hire another electrician to rectify the problem at an additional cost of $2k. Use this business at your own peril.

My sister had a quote from Ari Mezori and he pulled a fast one on her. He recommended the service panel be installed in the T.V. room rather than the utility room simply because it was less work for him. My sister did not know any better. That's all he says now when I talk to him about relocated the panel. Your sister gave the ok. I don't know about you but that's just disrespectful on so many levels and he should be ashamed of himself. The panel sticks out like a soar thumb and I guess I will have to find another company to solve the problem, Ari Mezori does not want to work towards resolving the issue, He would rather say my sister gave the ok over and over. I found out about this company online. I bought a fireplace from Home depot and plugged her in. It didn't work due to not enough Amp. I called and talk to Ari. The next day he and his team came to my house and installed an extra Amp. Now, I bought a condo and same issue, not enough Amp. Had 1940’s bungalow service entrance replaced with new mast style as part of an exterior renovation. Ari’s quote was very competitive. He’s a good listener and was open to my suggestions and gentle when informing me when the electrical code would necessitate an override of my brilliant idea. Ari did what I requested without trying to up sell me stuff I did not need (unlike the other two electricians that quoted the job) and, importantly, he did it when he said he would do it. He was happy to give me some advice regarding a future project, even to the extent of supporting my DIY inclinations — he’s the guy I’m going to hire if I screw up that project and need to be bailed out :-)

We hired Can Electric to wire and light our basement. They were polite and courteous, but there were some aspects of the job that weren't done as requested. They had to come back to make changes to their workin order to get it functioning the way we had intended; however, to their credit they came quickly and did the work without additional cost. It was a challenging experience at times, however everything is functional now. I would recommend carefully documenting your requests and placement of lights, outlets, circuitry, etc. So you have your own references to rely on.

Our client was in the middle of preparing a turkey for a fundraiser, and I had already spoken to several other electricians, none of which could help.
