Good for me, not so much for young adult in line before me. After young person ahead was told $53.00!! For the very small package he wanted to send, regular post, $53.00 he couldn't afford ( nor could I, I was also shocked!) After the older male postal worker basically said ' that's the charges ', I advised the young person he could purchase the prepaid small box at $19.99+tax, and insert the small package he wanted to send for much less$ along with guaranteed timeline/ some insurance included. He did. I was disappointed for him that the male postal worker didn't suggest or advise the customer of that option/savings. Nor the delivery times,or insurance included, etc. I, the customer behind him had to? VERY Sad, was 'zero' customer service in my mind. The postal worker (older male, Just kinda looked at the customer and me as if to say, that's what the charge is, that's that - noooo comments when I asked/ suggested the prepaid box). Sour face. *Bragg Creek postal workers would have, and do Advise of All the savings in prepaid boxes, All options. That's how I knew. I just happened to be in Calgary mailing MY prepaid box that day. Customer service is BIG these days if you want to retain customers/ business.
The mailman responsible for the route in and around 17 AVE and 26, 25, and 24 ST SCRATCHED OUT MY ADDRESS, put in someone else’s, and carelessly delivered it to receivers unknown to me. The company that I ordered from contacted me stating Canada Post returned the package listing it as “never claimed”. After conversing they sent me photo evidence of what Canada Post had done as I was continuously checking the mail FOR TWO MONTHS!! Canada Post themselves verified that the package I ordered was no longer under the address I originally gave. The photos I have from the company I ordered from show my address scratched out and another’s written in pen—AFTER being received by Canada Post. I was therefore told to create a service ticket...6 service tickets later and NO ONE from Canada Post has contacted me! The driver falsified information on my documents and just took payment. They do NOT take their clients seriously! If they did I would’ve at least heard back from someone to rectify this. And we trust this company with our legal documents and other precious belongings!?!?!?!?
I am someone who uses various Canada Post outlets across the city on a very regular basis and have always had impeccable and friendly service at every location I have used, that is until I visited the West Hills location located inside of the Shopper's Drug Mart. The woman working the Canada Post counter gave the worst customer service I have ever seen at any business. She berated customers, slammed phones, and actually THREW customer parcels into bins with heavy force, obviously not caring for what potentially breakable items may be inside.... As someone who has worked in the service industry for over 25 years I understand that people can have their off days, however in those same 25 years I have never witnessed such appalling treatment of clientele. I promptly took my parcels to another location and was greeted with warm and personable service. I recommend people steer clear of this location lest their parcels get treated as poorly as they do. AVOID.
I came to the office on Sunday before it was opened. The staff was 5 mins late and I didn't complain. As the very first customer, I showed him my stuff and was asked to fill out the address on the envelope. After requested and waited for another several minutes, I got a pen and filled out my package finally. Then I waited for the customer at the counter to finish and tried to hand in my package to the staff. He said that I should start over from the end of the line!!! And he also said it's not fair for the 5 customers in the line. I was shocked and never been asked to do so before at any place including post office. Also I was embarrassed as if I tried to cut the line. Not sure how this guy got the job without proper training. But Im sure I will not go back to this office any more. Super bad experience.
I usually ship my packages at a different Canada Post but I was in the area and thought I'd give them my business today. The ladies were rude and refused to ship two out of three of my packages because of some new rule she made up that wont allow me to bundle boxes together even though they were securely packed, wrapped in packing plastic and accepted by any other post office in the city. I literally left the Westhills location and drove 5 mins down the road to a different Canada Post and shipped my boxes no questions asked. Nirumalini was especially rude and I would recommend nobody visits this location.
I was notified by Canada Post tracking that my parcel was delivered to the nearby post office because nobody was home, no problem, but the post office says they don't have it... When Canada Post told me they do, so I mention this to the post office and they told me "well, we don't have it". I waited for her to follow up with anything helpful or ANYTHING but no, that's all she said. "We don't have it". So yea... That's where I'm at now. I'll edit this with more stars when or if it gets resolved.
Bad Service. Rude employees. There is no way to file a complaint and they simply don't care. There is no other option. After taking a quick glance, I was told that my package was not there even though I had a delivery notice. She did not want to check again until I told her that my package contains prescription medication. Magically, it appeared. Unrelated: Fake delivery attempts Edit: I had some "better" experience last time I was there. Adding a star.
Always the most unpleasant experience, wish my packages could go to another Canada Post. The lady here let’s the line go out the door to chat with her regulars and then treats everyone else like trash she found on the side of the road
Horrible service, showed up before closing and the woman at the till wold not let me mail my prepaid package. Literally would have taken her 30 seconds to put it in the back but apparently that was too much to ask.
Canada post here is the worst. Forget getting your packages here even if you have an id. The woman who's on the counter wasn't helpful at all. She can keep my package for all i care.
I was helped by one lady who helped me make decisions about the best way to mail my package. She was the most helpful and efficient Canada post worked I've ever met.
I knew the service was bad. I went there to pick up my parcel today. The lady was not nice - looked like someone owned her money. Very unpleasant experience.
This is my go to postal outlet! Michelle & her collegue are soooo friendly! Both these ladies ROCK!!
It's a pity this post office is the only one near where I live. Worst customer service.
Wonderful ladies who always do their job at best and keep a smile on customers' face.
