The auto service is a nightmare here. Avoid this location!! I was here for winter tire changeover. I booked an appointment but when I got there they said I need to wait for 1hr. Then when I confirm they said it’s actually 1.5hr. So I said okay so I can pick up around 1.5hr? And the staff was like “it will take around 2hr it’s a busy day” ….after waiting for 2hrs there I still see my car outside and they are just about to bring it in, so I ask again, when can I pick up. They technician told me minimum 2 more hour. I got so frustrated about this waiting time and these guys are just messing up around. I decided to Uber home and when I was already on my way home that’s when they called me saying “hey we cannot find your wheel key can you come in the store to get it out for us”. Man I was there for 2hrs you have plenty of time to asking me to do that and at other place like Costco they will ask that when you get there and there’s no chance they will let you wait for four hours for just a tire change-over and you even had the appointment. When I ask why you don’t ask me earlier when I was in the store they director yelled at me saying that it’s your responsibility to give it to us we don’t have to ask”. The director definitely has some anger issue and do not understand how to interact with customers politely. I then wanted to cancel due to the frustrating experience and they charge me $56 for spending 10min to trying to find my wheel key.
This is a very large Canadian Tire location, that has everything you could need. I just visited during the start of the Christmas season and the store was fully stocked and though there is a lot of different products it was organized and clean. Prices were visible and there was ample staff available to help you. In the past, I have been a critic of Canadian tire for not having enough cashiers, but this location had extra staff on and I checked out quickly and efficiently. Thank you for that. I left with some candy and chocolate which were gifts for Christmas and were competitively priced as well as some decor. (They have some great decor stuff…from their Canvas brand). Overall great experience for a busy weekend shop!
The only good thing is that they have good sales. Unfortunately, I will never go into one because those credit card sales people basically the harassed the hell out of you. They follow you and interrupt you like a stalker and won’t leave you alone. I don’t mind that they’re at the front of the store but when they’re all creeping around and catching you off guard. If you want to feel like you’re being stalked and harassed especially women then go to Canadian tire. I don’t blame the people working because they’ve obviously been told to do that. Thanks, Canadian tire for creating a place where I will never go, and I will never recommend any of my family members to go especially the women.
Hi there, auto shop customer services is worse service I ever seen, at around 9:40 Am November 24 I brought my car to change tries. I ask associate front desk that how long it will take to change tries and she told me that I am the next customer however at 11:30 my car was inside the shop with no work done because I have an important appointment I requested to bring car back without changing tries but they told me it will take 20 to 25 minutes and that was a ridiculous, any I took my car without services after I was there for almost two hours.. I won’t recommend anyone for services in that particular location
This has been a truly frustrating experience. I invested $2,000 CAD in new winter tires, rims, balancing, alignment, and sensor reprogramming. To my dismay, my Tire Pressure Monitoring System now refuses to function. I returned to them today in hopes of a resolution, but their fix merely extinguished the warning light on my dashboard without restoring the tire pressure display. Their assurance that driving 5 to 10 kilometers would magically resurrect the sensor proved false. It appears they have mishandled my sensor, leaving me utterly dissatisfied with their service.
Avoid this location for online orders. Horrible location for order pick ups. Arrive 2 hours before closing to find shutters closed and no one around when i paged the button. Had to ask a staff who then radio for them to come to the dept. Still no one showed up. Went to my car to further call the order pick up line and manager on duty multiple times without an answer. This location sucks, poor decision on the order pick up system compared to other stores. Just go to a cashier that helps. This place doesn't do that. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Bought an umbrella stand and it broke within the first time using it. It was a cheap poorly made item. Brought it back to get my money back and they didn’t provide my money back. They do not stand by their products and forced me to exchange for another item. Then I had to fight with them to let me exchange for 2 items as they were saying I only get to exchange 1 for 1 even through I brought up 2 items exactly equally the amount Harpreet and Varesha were the two employees spoke with June 19th 1:30
Went to return 2 items, unfortunately, they were outside the window for refund, or, store credit, was going to rate a 2 star for that. The cashier stated I could exchange for 2 items equal to the cost. Wandered around and a nice short Supervisor (Justin) was nice enough to help me out in my adventure. Showed me some products, things I could use, AND, even price compared and found one that was on sale! Get this guy 100 Canadian Tire shares!!!
All the staff is very rude especially the manager. I bought the oil which was $31.99 and they charged me $39.99. Tried to explain them that’s when manager started shouting and being rude. Never going back at this location. They are ripping people. Don’t go here
