Disappointing Service - I would avoid We went to Car Nation based on the selection of cars and opportunities to try a number of different brands in a day, although we left with a car that we are fairly happy with we were certainly left disappointed and frustrated by the service, ensuring that we will not be back to this dealership to purchase our next vehicle. First frustration was around product knowledge, we were told our car that we bought had Sirius (not the case and only were told this with keys in hand as we were driving out the lot). We we were unable to receive any confirmation that the automatic car starter that we were looking to install wouldn't void any current warranties and there was no desire on Car Nation's end to find us the information or stand behind their product, we were told "it shouldn't" - We left without a starter and will go somewhere else. The biggest frustration was the pressure sell at the end. This may be common of a number of dealerships but Car Nation throughout this process made it very clear they don't "haggle", nor entertain any negotiation as they offer a fair price. Upon committing to a car we were then taken into a meeting with finance manager who piled on additions and options that we had to decide on at that moment, and on the spot, right now. We didn't take buying a car lightly as it was a huge financial purchase for us and were very clear from the start that money was an issue and we wanted to know the "all in" before purchasing. To agree to a price and then have the "additions" positioned as a must buy now without any other consultation left us feeling taken advantage of, and highly pressured into a decision. Overall I would caution about making Car Nation your dealer of choice as I felt that there was a large lack of transparency and that we made a deal with a company that weren't prepared to stand behind their product while taking advantage of their customer, a feeling nobody wants. ******Reply to owner We were contacted by customer service following the purchase of the car and originally voiced our concerns privately with them as they were looking for feedback. They assured us multiple times that they reached out to you (the dealership) to share our concerns and we were then told a manager would be in touch with us. This has never happened.

UPDATED Sept 23,2020: Took another star off because after owning the vehicle for a month now, we are just finding out that our insurance company never received all the info they needed from the finance department. They asked for a copy of the ownership to which they never received... Make sure your insurance company has all the proper documentation and info needed before leaving this place!!!! Had such a great experience with car nation! Both Michael and Joe were great with getting my fiancé and I our second family car! Michael was awesome to deal with, he had the car ready to go, he immediately pointed out spots on the car they would have taken care of. Day of pick up he fulfilled those promises he also made sure the car was safe (covid/contact wise) I will be making sure to refer people to him when they are looking for a car! I take one star off only because I feel it took Until Joe took over from the original guy dealing with the financing stuff. I was starting to think we were going to have to walk away because we were being told that we had to do a 4 year term on the car which increased the payments, being told the bank wouldn’t budge because of the year of the car (2014). Once Joe took over, because the original guy went on vacation, it was smooth sailing. He got us exactly what we wanted no questions asked with the exact same bank we were told wouldn’t budge and made it such a great experience. He got our payment to be way less then our budget too! Highly recommend Joe and Michael! I noticed there was a complaint from 4 days ago about the finance guy we dealt with first. Hoping all is okay with him, he must have been having a off week as we don’t know what’s going on in someone’s personal life. I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt!

I bought an Audi A4 back in October 2015, Ben was the sales person at the time I was dealing with. When I had asked if there were any accidents I was told there were none. However the day I went to go pick up the vehicle I was shown the carproof which revealed 2 accidents, by this time all the paperwork was done and I really needed a car, so I felt pressured at the moment and went forward with the sale. Two months later my heat stopped working. I called and spoke with Ben who told me that he can arrange a free inspection however I would need to pay for any repairs. After spending half my day at the dealership I was told that the blower motor needed to be repaired and that it was a $2500 job. I asked to speak to Ben, who pretended to have left for the day. The next day I took a day off from work and spent it on the phone with the shop manager Amar, Ben and the Sales manager who was not helping at all. I then asked to speak to the general manager, after some time I received a call from the GM who also advised that they would not fix the vehicle as I have had it for a couple of months. I told them I would return the car and contact OMVIC. Once I mentioned OMVIC they immediately offered to fix the car plus clean and wash it for me. As a consumer, I shouldn't have to spend 2 days trying to get a problem solved. I am now in the market looking to upgrade my vehicle. Will not be going back to CarNation. Also I was promised a $100 gas card thay Im yet to receive.

I bought my car here two and half years ago. I know I should give this review 2 years ago. Just saw car nations in google and still brings back some bad feeling from the past. My car is still running well. The reason I give only 2 stars are the lady doing the financing/paper work. I forgot her name but I believe is Lisa, an elder lady with glasses on. When I purchasing the car, she was all professional and seems nice. After I picked up my car, the company lost or forgot to put my car insurance pink card into their file(Im 100% sure that I provided the information at the day I picked up the car). One week after, she called me asking for the insurance information and leave a voice massage. I didn't check the voice massage that day. Next day she called again, and she is just a Bxtxh, the way she talked was super rude and how she threaten that my car will be toll away immediately(I totally understand toll car part just the way she is threatening). I sent her email of the information she needs and also pointed out the fact that they are not doing their job not my fault should’t being so rude and mean. And of course no even one single word back from her. I show my co-workers the voice mail she left, everyone shocked the way she talked. Car is fine, salesman is helpful, no issues but I wont returning or recommend to friends just simply because of her.

I’ve purchased 5 cars and this was my best experience from start to finish. I was greeted by Eric who was tremendously professional, he had a great attitude which made the experience enjoyable rather than stressful, and when it came down to business Eric answered all of my questions directly and with out any sales tactics or shenanigans. The owner greeted me as-well. Good focus on customer experience at Car Nation. Of course, it would all fall apart if the product or price was off. However, I was well researched before coming in (I report to a VP for big pharmaceutical company - as his analytics guy... so by habit, I’d already spent tireless evenings researching online so I already knew the asking price was totally reasonable. So be reasonable in return, be kind to your customer rep, and they may be able to throw in a few small perks. Bottom line - when the time comes for car #6 I’ll be heading back to car nation - and not wasting my weekends driving around from place to place. One last comment - I needed some proof of service/oil change for warranty purposes and asked for this documentation months after the purchase; Mike in service was more than happy to help me. Another good example of great customer care.

I recently went into Car Nation Canada Direct in Burlington to get an oil change on a vehicle I had purchased in September 2015 (see review below). The service was exceptionally fast and Mike Pinto who was working at the service desk was both friendly and efficient. His accommodating nature made the visit pleasant as he showed me where I could wait comfortably while enjoying a coffee or tea. They even had fresh fruit available! Overall, I was very happy with the service and the price. I will definitely be returning in future for any car service needs. My experience at Car Nation Canada Direct in Burlington was nothing short of fantastic. Not only was the sales person, Mya, accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly, she also knew exactly what to show us based on our wish list and price range. We are absolutely 100% satisfied with our purchase and would recommend this Car Nation location to our friends and family. Should we need to purchase a vehicle in future, we would definitely seek out the support and explore the many options this place has to offer.

First and foremost, I would like to say that sales representative Kevin was AMAZING, Kind, honest, straight-shooter, and a pleasure to deal with. I can't say enough! Thank you so much Kevin! Everything we talked about held true, nothing misleading, just 11/10 stars. Please if you have the chance, ask for Kevin. You won't regret it! :) A few things I really enjoyed was the zero pressure sales, and honesty that Kevin provided. Also how easy he made the whole process of trading in my old car and getting into my new Civic. He sold me an awesome Honda Civic that I'm loving to drive. As for the dealership, they are great people to do business with. Polite, kind, treat you with respect, and they will try to do there best with whatever you ask. if you're in the market for a vehicle, please don't look any further than these guys ( Car Nation Canada Direct ). When I'm in the market again looking for another used car, I'll definitely be coming back here again. Ps. if you a car guy, they have some pretty awesome cars in there showroom to look at! I would highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from Car Nation Direct. From the moment I first walked into the dealership, I didn't feel pressured to purchase but was given the proper information and tools to make an informed decision. Ray was my Sales Consultant and was always friendly and available to answer any questions I had. He never pressured me into buying a car from him and built a great relationship with me. Robert was the Finance Manager I dealt with and he always provided me with upfront information and was a pleasure to work with. Their customer service was wonderful and I never felt as though I was bothering them even with my millions of questions at times! My 2014 new (used) Honda Civic is amazing (I should probably mention the car!) and I am absolutely in love with it. Overall, my experience with Ray, Robert and Matt has been amazing and I truly feel like part of a family when I walk into the dealership. Thank you for all of your help and time spent with me to purchase my Civic, I am a truly happy customer!

Be Careful and know who you're dealing with . This review is based on my experience with Car Nation in Burlington Ontario, Went in to look at a vehicle and the first thing I heard from the salesman was " I have someone wants to buy the car but who ever shows me the money first gets it" (fair enough I said ) . While waiting for them to ready the vehicle for test drive , another salesman barges into the office and wanted the keys for the vehicle , my sales guy says "I got a customer here" the other sales guy says I got someone here who wants to buy the car, grabbed the keys off the desk and left. I still went out for a test drive and did make an offer on the car , they said the other party had a better offer , I didn't want to get into an auction so let them have the car I said , and I left. The car is still for sale as I write this review. I've purchased many new and used vehicles in my 68 year on this earth , maybe I've seen this scenario before.

I'm not one to write bad reviews but in this case I feel that its needed. I can by to purchase a vehicle and offer mine as a trade, I thought the offer was low but I accepted it. I provided all the documents required for the loan we were purchasing a vehicle that was $38,000. After one week of waiting I called to get an update, I did not get a call back almost a week later and I got was (I'm working on it) 2 weeks working on a $38,000 loan? I don't believe it. One week passed when the financial guy (Robert) called saying that the deal would no work and the bank was only willing to approve $30,000. My wife and I went back and picked another vehicle in that price and even increased the down payment. Another 2 weeks later I get a call saying that the deal wasn't happening and to come grab my deposit. Terrible experience, would not recommend. I change both my cars every 4 years and never had such lack of interest to make a deal. Go somewhere else.

We needed to buy a car this week and our first stop was Car Nation with an appointment with Evan Bartlett. He sold us a car 4 years ago and wanted to give him a chance to find us the car we were looking for. We booked a time to see him and he greeted us at the door with a warm handshake. He listened attentively to what we were looking for and quickly brought up 2 cars for us to test drive. He covered all the features of the car before we got in and had the seats and steering wheel warmed up. Throughout the experience he never once made us feel pressured to buy and gave us the opportunity to drive other cars as we searched out which car we wanted. Once we made our decision, Evan knew that I was anxious to get the sale through quickly and he delivered. Evan is professional, knows his cars, is patient and helpful with explaining the technical features of the car and makes you feel like you are his most important client. Thank you!

I have never been happier to write a review. A review necessary to sing the praises of an experience I recently had with Car Nation Canada Direct. The customer service my wife and I received from Debbie (General Manager) and her team can't be matched or exceeded. Debbie specifically went over and above to ensure our full satisfaction with the purchase of our vehicle, leaving both my wife and I speechless. There is the adage some may say of "I'm just doing my job" and there are the services rendered by this team at Car Nation Canada Direct, where just doing their job sets the benchmark for customer care and service. We can't thank them enough for making this difficult and challenging ordeal of purchasing a vehicle so effortless and seamless. We could not be any more grateful for the warmth and family atmosphere we were embraced with. Some experiences instill hope in humanity and this team deserves all their applauds.

Absolutely agree with the previous reviews.. this company sells LEMONS not cars. Bought a Toyota yaris in winter 2021 (last year). It had a scratch on it, which was fine, but what wasn't fine was that NO ONE TOLD ME that the A/C wasn't working. It only worked the first 20 mins. Of course this was in winter so I didn't use the A/C and I didn't have 20 mins to wait and run the A/C at the dealership prior to purchase. So I got the A/C replaced out of pocket for 700$ but today, august 2022, my car WON'T START at all. I appreciate these are older cars that need attention, paying nearly 7,000$ for it and having to put in an additional 2k+ is unacceptable. I would have just added another 2k and got a way newer one. So my personal experience and advise is.. AVOID THIS COMPANY. It seems they do not disclose the true condition of the vehicle prior to purchase - at least they didn't to me.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the GM and was promptly introduced to Evan who walked us through the choices in models for the SUV we were interested in . Evan was so knowledgeable and made our choice so easy it was flawless. Once we were able to come to find our new Nissan Rogue it was delivered, detailed and rustproofed within a day. Sandra, the Business Manager was so dedicated to make sure we were able to get the financing that worked within our budget. We did find a small chip in the windshield the next morning when we then contacted Evan who promptly made arrangements for us to bring it in and repaired quickly. I got to meet some of the service team, Tom and Holly who were pleasant and quite helpful. I am definitely going to recommend Car Nation Direct to any of my friends and family looking for a vehicle. 5 STARS!!!!!

The environment at Car Nation in Burlington was great. It didn’t feel like other dealerships I had been to previously where pushy sales people would jump all over you to get a sale. I was able to look at the lot of cars before hand as well. I had the pleasure of dealing with Andrew. He made the experience comfortable and made sure he was providing the right solution for me. He even made sure to go through all the features my car had with me on the test drive and was very informative. If anyone is in the market for a new car, I would highly recommend the team at Car Nation in Burlington. From Andrew, to payroll and management; the environment was welcoming and very comfortable. I can honestly say, other dealerships I had shopped around at prior to finding Car Nation don’t even compare. I can’t speak more highly of Andrew and the team.

Disappointed in hearing my parents experience from Car Nation. Bought there third Vehicle from Car Nation because they loved the way they were treated. (Car Nation Burlington is a 55minute drive one way) Within the first week of owning there Ford Edge they had to return for tailgate not closing properly, then a week later had to bring the truck back for the tailgate leaking water. Finally third times a charm and the Tailgate/leak was repaired. Less then Four months later, Check Engine Light is flashing, Coolant constantly has to be added. Ford Technician performed diagnostic scan/Inspection to find Engine needs to be replaced. My parents are now paying for a vehicle they cant even drive, and Car Nation wont Even call them back after promising to come up with a solution. I wish I could give this business zero stars.

Had written a review after our initial encounter with Car Nation. It seems like that review had been deleted, but judging by the other single star reviews that have been left we were not alone in our experiences. Our car was test driven and we checked things out aspects like the car (such as the A/C unit). Everything tested fine, though shortly after receiving the car issues began to pile up. Issues with the car starting occurred and although we provided videos of the issue, they could not replicate the problem, "despite starting the car a hundred times". A/C went shortly after, as well a number of other smaller issues have arisen. A place we are avoiding for any future consideration. While there may be a response to this I can't see any way they would rectify our issues at this point in time.

I am a senior and my husband is disabled. A recent visit to another dealer was quite upsetting as the salesman showed no interest in discussing vehicles with me, without my husband present, and was really quite rude. I later went to Car Nation in Burlington and met with Adam Miller, who was the exact opposite. He was kind, understanding of my husband's health issues, and had endless patience. We did not find a car on our first visit, but kept in touch, went back to him two weeks later and found the vehicle we wanted from their huge range. Again, Adam was most thoughtful and patient with two pretty slow old people! The other staff members also put themselves out to make us comfortable with our purchase. We are happy with our purchase and would certainly recommend Car Nation to anyone.

I went into Car Nation Canada Direct in Burlington on a Monday night looking for a car. I was immediately greeted warmly, and the team ensured that I was taken care of. Each person I dealt with gave me their undivided attention, honesty, and were so incredibly informative and helpful. Adam Miller was particularly helpful in getting me set up with the perfect car to suit my criteria (style, price range, longevity, quality, etc.) My limited knowledge on cars I'm sure made it difficult for him to understand what my wants and needs were - but he nailed it! I walked out of Car Nation Direct with a car 2 days later, and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely recommend to friends and family, and return in the future when it's time for a new vehicle. I recently purchased a 2014 BMW I3 from the Burlington location. The customer service I experienced was fantastic. The process was smooth, accurate & detailed. I was greeted immediately and was not pressured. Also, I noticed the sales staff is very knowledgeable of their inventory and vehicles. The Business manager (Lisa S.) is also very knowledgeable and worked very hard to accommodate a deal that would suit my financial needs! If you're planning on purchasing a vehicle, I highly recommend you consider them as an option. The prices are good and their inventory is big. I'm very sure they have a vehicle that fits your needs. GREAT experience! Adam, my salesman was very polite and went the extra mile (literally! He drove me from the car rental on one occasion and to and from a store on another as my care was being detailed). His sales manager and Karen the finance pro were both class acts as well. The receptionist is a happy company ambassador and the showroom and lot are super clean. You will feel no pressure visiting this place. Their selection is incredible! I had three 2019 barely used Ford Flex's to compare side by side and test drive. Nowhere else came close on selection OR price! and I searched everywhere. Save yourself some time and money and go say Hi to Adam. Tell him the Stuntman sent you!

Car buying made easy and relaxed. I inquired about a 2016 Rogue off of their website, and got in contact with the online rep Simon. He answered all of my questions and set me up with the sales representative Andrew. Andrew was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and made me feel very welcomed at the dealership. Robert was the business manager that I finalized the paperwork with and was very relaxed and easy going. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable at all while working with any of the team. Car Nation Direct Canada is the place to go when buying a used car!!! I had a great experience buying my first car here. Harold Miller assisted me with finding my car. I shared with him my list of essential things I was looking for with my first car and we found a suitable match. He is very professional, reliable, and went out of his way to educate me on the pros and cons for the vehicles I was looking at. There was no pressure and I did not feel rushed within the process of finding a car. Kim Ferraro was also very professional, friendly, and kind. We had a great experience buying a used Ford Escape to replace our 2008 Escape which served us well for 15 years. We met with two gentlemen , Michael Mercadante  and Dave Presta, both of whom gave us service treating us with a true sense of customer appreciation.They diligently went over all aspects of mechanical fitness and contract details.There was no sales pressure and gave is the option of inspecting the car while on the shop hoistHassle free and within the hour we had completed our purchase.I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone looking to buy a car. My experience with Car Nation Burlington was great. I have only been driving my Lincoln MKC for 2 days and I’m so happy with the vehicle. Kyle Close was so professional and kind, and most importantly didn’t pressure me to make a decision for the sale. He allowed me to look and take my time to make a good decision and was so pleasant to be around. If I ever came back I would personally request his assistance. Kim the the financial advisor was so incredible with my financing situation, helped me get a loan without a co-signer which I’m so grateful for. Everyone there was so nice and positive. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle.

I just purchased a car from Car Nation in Burlington, during the process I dealt with Mike Pizzuti who was nothing but an absolute pleasure to deal with. He made himself very available to me for any questions or concerns and was always very quick to get back to me. After moving back from overseas, I had used a number of online tools to find just the right vehicle. It took about three weeks to find my new (used) car. After narrowing my search to a few different models at a few different dealerships, I found Patrick to be the most friendly and willing to help. Patrick quickly got back to me when I had questions about my car (pre-purchase) or about the buying process. The dealership is clean and the reps professional. Everyone involved in the process was friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend friends and family look closely at this dealership if or when they are in the market to buy.

Purchased a 2014 Chrysler 200 from Carnation to begin after we finalized everything and car was ready for pick up I drove the vehicle home to get a call back from Sherry asking if I could come back because they installed the wrong license plates secondly I noticed that the plastic mold was missing and Amar there mechanic advised me that it would come in April 11th, I have been trying to get a hold of them since April and cannot get in contact with him or will anyone reply back to my emaills they told me they couldn’t cover the cost because it was cosmetic. I do not recommend this place to anybody very unprofessional

Just had the pleasure of buying my new to me car from Nick Laniri. Great, honest straight to the point salesman. Not once was i rushed or pressured into anything. There Finance rep sandra was also super friendly and zero pressure. My car was heavily detailed to perfection before delivery by there newest member in the detail dept. Sadly i forgot his name.A full tank of fuel and all promises made were kept to my full satisfaction. This is a great honest team. And might i suggest you try the epic coffee/hot chocolate machine. I've had a pleasant experience buying a used car at this location. My sales rep Evan gave me a thorough walkthrough of the car's features (there was some nifty new tech to go over) before and during the test drive. After the sale he made sure I had my phone paired up with the car and that we had no other questions about it. I got the sense that he genuinely wanted to help me get the most out of my purchase. He's followed up with me after a few days to ensure that the car was driving well. Good customer service. I would use them again for used car purchases down the road.

Bought a Volvo yesterday from Frank Caruso, he was great! Knowledgeable and nice, not pushy at all. The business manager Joe was also awesome! We had a bit of a hiccup with delivery time which was no fault of theirs, people called in sick...would have liked a phone call to advise it was going to be late, but Joe wasn't informed by the service dept. which wasn't surprising, my previous experience there when I bought a car and had it serviced, the service advisor lacks communication skills. All in all, a pleasant experience.

A sales named Harold Miller served me today for Test Driving of a 2017 VW Touareg, the car is good condition. But during the consultation with Mr. Miller, gives me a horrible experience. When I told him that I need some time to think about because I’m struggling with buy back my current leasing car or change another car, his attitude obviously changed from friendly to rude. When I came I dealt with John and Igor. I looked over the vehicles with John and decided on the Golf. The purchase of my 2016 Golf everything was very easy. Got a 2016 Mazda 6 from Car Nation in August, wanted to wait before leaving my review. Had my first inspection and oil change today since having it, the car is in tip top condition! Nick my salesman was very helpful and friendly throughout the sale and post-sale. Even the showroom manager, cant remember her name was great! The finance guy did try to sell me on a few extra warranties and stuff so just beware of that when you're closing the deal. All in all great experience!

Do not recommend them to anyone. They pretend to pay a price online for your vehicle to have you go see them, and then, they drop the price, as they want to get your car for free, do not trust them or sell them anything, and have them come to you for a car appraisal so you do not waste your time.
