Have always felt safe here, and the station is generally clean and quiet. A couple of connecting bus services and shops on one side, beach on the other. I like the basic more retro style of the old-school beach-side train stations, as Carrum was until recently. It is currently being entirely overhauled, including complete demolition, so will be interesting to see the changes and note the "improvement". Traffic flow will most certainly improve on the roads around the station, but as for station usability and quality; not sure how much that will change.

This was one of my favourite train stations growing up. this is so not poggers and in fact a massive L. I hope they can rebuild it and make it epic W poggers train station again. I am Sad it was destroyed.

has to be the best station along the line for views, you can see the CBD, dandenog mountains and on a clear day, the mountains near geelong all from the middle, water refill on the platform too

CARRUM Railway Station has toilets, and they are open ! Ants coffee, a good coffee $3.00,available in station foyer, Monday to Friday. Large car park too.

Wasn't in town when it happened. LOL (lots of love) to all families involved in the explosion, wishing the best for all them. Sad that it got blown up.

Station design and skyrail are excellent, eliminating terrifying level crossings and provides an amazing view and is great for beach access.

Carrum station is closed until early 2020 when a station is rebuilt. Shuttle buses are running to Seaford and Bonbeach stations.

Good station. It's staffed and toilets ate open which differs from some others.

Great staff, security at night, toilets and mini breaky booth with Ants coffee.
