The fact that coercive control is being criminalised doesn’t bother the police officers here. That’s if they knew what it was. The fact that fraud and identity theft are increasing, doesn’t seem to matter either. All we needed to prove the frauds (and alongside it, the sheer extent of it) was signature testing. The same testing they promised us, only to then suddenly deny it after 2+ years of messing. We were told it would never be more than 6 months wait (in writing, too). 25% of the population in “The Hills” is Asian/ Indian. Yet not ONE officer I dealt with at the police station, was of this background - I wouldn’t care, if it wasn’t for the fact that the non-Asian/ Indian cops kept throwing around the word cultural, followed by a complete lack of understanding about The daily court lists re: Domestic Abuse/ Violence are constantly filled with increasing lists of those with the last name ‘Singh’ (not to mention any of the other hundreds of Asian/ Indian last names). This concerns me, as I have not only seen it first hand but actually am one of the few people who did everything, to report it. It doesn’t seem to matter to the police too much though, since financial abuse isn’t domestic abuse in their eyes. Nope. To make matters worse, every officer that I dealt with, either ended being transferred, misleading us or just downright degrading (like the head cop making jokes to a junior like “Hey ____if we can’t find any more evidence on his dad maybe we’ll just make one up hey?”). Disgusting, to say the least. Oh and for the record, he made this comment approx 5 minutes after the detective he was referring to, had just played us an audio recording he received from the bank where my father had called in, literally, pretending to be me. (Which means the joke’s horrible too - since there’s no need to make up evidence..? What on earth makes him think this kind of joke is ok?). And when I later raised this issue in an email? No response nor reply re: this issue. Total silence. If their comments were public, based on what police officers have been punished for in recent times, they’d surely be fired or sued. But that’s where the good old witness room comes in to play for them. Anything goes. There should be an option to record EVERYTHING, for the victims’ safety. They use the witness room as a banter room, where they say things and make jokes that they would never ever say to anyone on the record. They made my wife cry. She is a senior lawyer who helps financial abuse victims. We have also submitted CLEAR HD video footage of my father admitting the fraud (footage that luckily I had, since he came to my house after finding out that I was speaking up and reporting him - to try and silence me). FWIW, in the footage, my dad’s hand gestures are constantly consistent with those of someone who is lying, or wanting to hurt someone. It is scary to watch. I am so thankful I have these recordings. All legal too, since I genuinely feared for my life (this entire incident took place just after I had been discharged from the hospital, so I was worried if he attacked my wife or I, I wouldn’t know what to do - nor have proof. Thank god it’s on camera). Police doesn’t care. Too busy making inappropriate jokes and misleading people like us for 2 years, since it’s in their best interest to not pursue cases re: their (potential) future employees. If you read others’ reviews you’ll also see comments re: talking to officers who made victims feel only worse. Not a great feeling after you almost lost your life. I will never ever, ever trust the police again. All because I spoke up against an abusive, criminal and downright extortionist father who defrauded me, stole my identity thanks to the help of corrupt, fraudulent bankers and the bank (who is now doing everything they can to prevent signature testing). The only problem? The same corrupt bank hired officers from THIS station, such as the Investigation Manager (ex-police officer) who was on the other end of my complaint in this case. Conflict of interest much? Nope, apparently not.
I have been a victim of a hit and run. My car was parked outside and truck from Breakout River meats came squeezing through a tight street where my girlfriend lives in Oatlands. Smashed the whole side of my car and took off. I tried to run after the truck to get the license plate but failed to do so. I called police assistance, no help. So I went into our local police station at 2am which was castle hill police station. Not one officer came to see if I needed help. All just busy on their computer. I literally waited infront of the desk for 10 minutes, until I spoke out for some assistance. The officer that assisted me did not care at all about my situation, just yawing and rubbing his eyes. Only thing he emphasized was that he’s got 6 month to do this case. Clearly he wasn’t going to start anytime soon and wanted to end this before it started. I went to all the neighbors and got their video footage from their cameras. Went to the local shops and got their cctv footage. I called the council for their cctv but they explained that only an officer of the law can retrieve them. I emailed the police officer immediately, no response so I called. Said they will get back to me. I sent all the evidence I have. Even the name of the company the truck belongs to. And nothing has been done. I called the truck company myself, also got my car insurance to do so. They obviously denied everything. Because the footage was not clear enough. And couldn’t identify the driver. I can’t blame them because most people will deny, but my experience with the police was a lot more frustrating. I was always skeptical on calling the police. And I was right. They do not care and are completely useless. No wonder nobody comes forward to the police. Typical kids that couldn’t stick up for themselves at school so got a gun and badge to act tough. Castlehill police station. Useless.
Worst Station ever I have experienced in my entire life. The story is I am a taxi driver picked up a group of 6 with 12 bags in Big Maxi taxi at 11.30 Pm in the night from Qantas T3 terminal Domestic to Kellyville. I asked them which way do they want to go as per their requested root I took from Southern Cross Drive , Harbour Tunnel, Lane Cove Tunnel was closed due to Road Works. Took a detour from Epping Road to Delhi Rd then M2, took Windsor Road exit, they requested if I see any McDonald’s open on the way take a Drive through, on that route I couldn’t find any McDonald’s, took them straight to their destination fare came up $275.60 it was night Tarif plus Maxi Meter. I requested them and explained breakthrough all the charges why it came this much. In that group 1 of them said it’s wrong fare it supposed to be $150. They all 6 male passengers got aggressive and started argument used abusive language. 1 of them said will throw me out of the Country come out of the Taxi we’re 6 will smash you. I ringed 000 for help, believe me more than 2 hours I waited got no help from Castle Hill police Station one officer he spoke to me and said we heard your story can’t do much and they didn’t paid my fare.
Just like to say a massive thankyou to our local boys and girls in blue. People are often to complain about you but I am very grateful for the safe return of my wayward technophobe neighbor who got lost and stranded after picking up his brand new car. Especially I would like to single out Senior Inspector Phil Brooks who went out of his way to phone me personally and update me on the situation. You guys went out of your way to make sure that he and the community were safe and he was treated very respectfully and with great care. It was late at night and I am sure that there were many jobs on. Thankyou very much for your care. Thankyou very much for the phone call because it is easy to judge old people without knowing the whole story. This guy has been driving longer than I have been alive and he recently gave up his heavy vehicle licence because he didn't need it any more. I have never seen him speed or drive dangerously and he has always been pretty safe. Thankyou very much Craig Calleia
Went there they mostly were very nice, i actually had to mostly go since somone though that i really had stolen money from generally multiple banks over the course of generally many years this particularly is wrng in a basically big way. I kind of am the best,I generally am very modest, i generally am nice and mostly do no actually steal from bank, showing how literally went there they particularly were very nice, i for all intents and purposes had to specifically go since somone though that i mostly had stolen money from for all intents and purposes multiple banks over the course of very many years this specifically is wrng in a very big way.
I had 3 officers attend my premises.I stated that I was attacked and threatened by my ex partner, also that they should view the CCTV footage in the area it happened as there are cameras. They asked me to retrieve this from the security of my building . Police not retrieving this footage seems to hinder my need for the AVO. I am very threatened for my life and the safety of my 2 year old girl. If any harm comes to either my child or I ,then I want this police station and officers to be responsible.
Rude and poor behaviour from the one attending female officer on the 8th of October 2021 at 2.30pm. Holier than thou attitude and complete arrogance and cluelessness in handling a simple thing as booking and honouring a timeslot for getting some papers done at the station. Good luck getting actual help from her in a more serious situation. Oh wait, she'll probably just ignore you and go back to more important work, such as pretending to be busy.
Had a hit and ran accident at my house, got a eye witness and rego number of the car, reported to Castle Hill Police Station. the officer in charge of the investigation never get back to me with result, I ended up paying excess fee to insurance company by myself. The guy did this got walk away without any trouble. Very impressive work! "Thank you", Castle Hill police!
Thanks to the lady officer who picked the phone around 3:30 am today and also thanks to two other officer who came with her to help me with drunk passenger not willing to pay the fare or even respond to anything....was kinda surprised to see him(passenger) alert and awakened after the officer had a quick chat with hm. Thank you.
Went to get a battery from battery world two female police parked in the customer fitting parking even though there was plenty of other parking then just sat there sipping their coffee while everyone had to work around them utterly disgusting arrogant behaviour just what you would expect from the NSW police …
Met many friends in here. It's a bit cold and the food is a bit bland but overall it felt like a 3 star hotel. Next time I get arrested I'll definitely make sure it's by the Castle Hill police, I just hope my man Big Daddy G gets arrested at the same time so I can see him again.
Thank you to the Police officer and Sargeant that called up to check if I was okay while i was waiting for a tow truck to help me. I was not expecting a phone call from a police officer but to know that they were checking on my welfare really made my day. Thank you.
Most of the police officers are not bad. But some of them are really not nice. They are rude and cold. especially an Indian male police officer, as a victim after I talk to him , I feel more hurt emotionally, now I need to see counselor.
Gave a call. They took a while to answer but didn't ring out. Had a problem lately with random person sitting outside my house in his car doing nothing except just sit there and they gave some good advice, to grab the rego.
Constable Price handled my case. He was quick to respond, very friendly and professional in his conduct. Great example of a top cop. Keep up the great work . Hopefully won’t be coming back here again. …
Constable Ballantyne, was fantastic! He was so approachable and helpful from first our initial phone conversation, to when I physically attended the station. Thank you for your time and help …
Was referred to the Community Support Officer at this precinct who went above and beyond to help me out and provide information for future reference. Very Helpful, really made my day, thank you!
Went to Castle Hill Police Station to have documents certified. Officer XXX93 was courteous and helpful, He checked our identities and certified the documents promptly. Good on you, mate !!
I prefer do a crime myself and be against the low, but don’t ask police officers for any help! Just because it’s not criminal they can’t help! WTH!!!! No wonder why their rating is so down
Wonderful and breezy experience today at the Castle Hill police station, I had a bunch of documents that needed to be certified and Constable Gravis was very patient and helpful!
why do they put a phone number on the site if no one is answering the phone? have tried for several days to call to make an appointment but phone constantly rings out.
A female officer abused me verbally over the phone. No more complaints because they do not listen to. They treat and discriminate people unfaily too.
Very helpful and professional police.. Actually providing a service to the community... Far better than the surrounding police stations that don't..
Had fingerprints taken for a background check. Took less than 20 min. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. Best experience.
Driver didn’t go maccas drive thru, car was a mess The way they handled me was outrageous.wouldnt recommend this service one bit.
They were very helpful, always willing to help and were very kind to us. Thank You so much for the help today.
Bit hard to give a review given the phone rings out. This has happened many times, so I give up. .
