Allows the psychological torture of civilians who are visiting as tourist from foreign countries Had an officer tell me that he wanted to take me outside the police station and fight me while I was asking for a receipt Police Officers in uniform claim that they do not have badges and identification that they only need their name tags on their uniforms while the police officers who work at the Parliament House claim that all police officer have badges and identification that they keep in their pockets The police officers are trained to know where the cameras are located and will push civilians out of the way from the cameras before questioning them and placing them in handcuffs There are different districts around the City and police officers are selected to work in districts based on the way that they treat people while working The response of Officers in uniform is that tourist are welcome to sign the class action lawsuits against their departments When asking local Police Officers about the requirements for foreigners to work in Australia as law enforcement they just claim that foreigners are probably not qualified The police officers were not able to correctly fill out my paperwork, refused to show badges and identification, threatened to fight me outside of a police station, were not aware if I was able to receive a receipt for items that were taken during a search Officers have tried to do other tactics such as turning on their body cameras and walking up to me and viewing my electronics and saying that I am looking at pornography as a joke, but in a serious manner when questioning me

On Saturday the 16th Of March I held a protest march from Martin Place to Town Hall, the police officers who attended that day were outstanding. I’ve dealt with the Rocks Police on a number of occasions when protesting in Sydney CBD and I’ve not encountered any issues. Communication prior to and during the demonstration is clear and delivered in a non confrontational manner. These men and women show respect and understanding for the public while creating a harmonious and safe environment for freedom of speech. We at Stand Against Live Export are impressed and appreciate the police presence at our rallies.

I come from a family of law enforcement and these two Police officers are just tops. As a former U.S. Marine I have a great deal of respect for law enforcement. The swift and decisive call to action response regarding gathering of protestors was very professional. Thank you guys for such an amazing conversation.

We left our backpack with passports on the side of the road in the Rocks area. The police here tried to contact us by phone and even facebook multiple times in the few hours they had it. They made a real effort to locate us and return our property and we are truly grateful!
