This is the most disgusting bird store this man is arrogant and feels like he runs a top-of-the-line bird business well it’s the complete opposite this place is a horror show it’s disgusting and it’s actually terrible that he tells people that they don’t know what baby birds are when I am very experienced with birds and animals and I know the birds that he has there that he has shoved in little cages are not all babies so this man is evil he treats his birds terribly only feeds them seeds. Has two African grey parrots in a small cage not enough space to even open up their wings. The Lori look depressed and overpriced prices for birds that were in the most horrific conditions little cages and if you were to bring one of these birds home it would be lots of work to even get him on a healthy diet because they’re only feeding them seeds. This store has no toys for the birds in the cages with them so they just sit in small cages with no space for them to even move around crammed five cockateels in a cage and they have no toys just one stick to sit on. I don’t recommend anyone to shop here and this man doesn’t deserve these birds as they are all neglected. Zero stars.

This place is horrible and disgusting. Last year in February 2021 I bought 2 young Budgies from this place, they both were in bad condition and very traumatized. A month after buying them the female budgie had gotten sick and I tried taking them to the vet but there was nothing they could do and she died, they also told me that the budgie seemed to be old but I was told that they were both baby budgies so i ended up wasting $200 at the vet and was lied to by the store. I have also noticed that in the store they squeeze the birds into small cages in a filthy environment without any toys or enough food. I also noticed that some of the birds were very aggressive and the African greys had been cramped into cages for months and possibly years since i’ve been to this place in the past and see the same African grey. Please don’t shop here, they mistreat and hurt their birds.

Conures and quaker parrots are in cages wayyyy too small. All the birds have barely any light, and few toys if any. Horrifying place to go to if you know ANYTHING about birds. I feel sick, i work with baby birds and what they say is normal for babies is absolutely not normal. All birds are on seeds which is extremely unhealthy and its very difficult to switch birds off of. The birds were shaking and some of the tiny cages held multiple conures or quaker parrots when its not big enough for one. Two big parrots in the back of the store had the front of the cage covered with a mirror. The birds themselves are in poor condition, barbered feathers, some pluckers. This is all seen from half of the store because i felt to sick to even go to the other side. Dont get birds or any products from here, dont help them stay in business and go to a parrot sanctuary.

They do not take care of the birds they have. The birds are in horrible conditions this place needs to be shut down asap. Do NOT SHOP HERE! 1) Lovebird with an obvious open wound. I asked management about this bird, and all they would say is, "no, he is not okay and he is not for sale. We found him like that, he is not our bird." They would not say more and walked away. I am not sure if this was the owner or an employee, and am not sure I believe the story. There was no mention of seeing a vet or any other medical attention 2) Baby conures huddled at the bottom of a small dirty cage. There are 3; the one at the bottom I could not get a good picture of, but I'm not sure he is well... he is breathing but I could not see his face 3) Indian ring necks and quakers in small cages (2 per cage) stacked on the floor. NO perches, toys, or even food/water.

Today I purchased millet for my budgies it was on sale for $3.99 with tax $4.51. I gave the woman at the cash $4.50, she asked me for a penny, I told her there are no pennies. Then she asked me for 10 cents more I then asked why, then she asked for 5 cents more, so I gave it to her. When I showed her on the receipt she owed me 4 cents back she looked like a dear in the headlights not knowing what to do, so I told her to keep it and left the store. I find it disturbing that the store would have someone like that working as a cashier. Not a very good business practice to have an untrained person working as a cashier!!!

This is our family's favorite pet store to buy exotic birds from. We have bought ringnecks from them over the past years. Great service, very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff and they have a great selection of birds, toys, treats and nutritional products. Here's a photo of the latest ringneck I purchased who is enjoying a nutriberry, a blue lacewing ringneck originally bought as a baby who is now growing beautifully. Thank you for always giving us great service!

Horrible place. The poor birds were in cages that were too small, and there were not many toys in any of them. The birds have a diet of seeds mainly, which is not correct at all. These poor birds need to go to a bird sanctuary where they will be PROPERLY taken care of instead of being in a small cage covered by a heavy mirror. I would give them a 0 but I can't. This place needs to be shut down and the birds need to be taken somewhere they can actually thrive in.

Genuinely disturbed by what I saw today. The poor birds are in overcrowded, small, dirty cages. They're not being fed a proper diet (looked like only seeds), and there where even birds without access to food or water inside their cage. Some of the birds where in bare cages without even a perch, just standing shaking on the ground in a tiny empty cage. This is flat animal abuse.

Loved the place. Their customer service is something special. Mirza was so helpful he took me through what to except in bringing home a baby Cockatiel and introduced me to the world of birds and their products. This is going to be my go to place for pet supplies. Got the chance to meet the owner once, very geniune guy. You guyz are great. See u soon.

Knowledgeable staff , Relatively good selection to buy Domestic birds. I bought a hard to find lovebird.Though I do believe they're Very overpriced here I would compare prices before buying Here. Altho Unlike most stores they have probably a better selection of lovebirds than most stores in the gta.Pet food and accessories are available.

It was my first time coming here and I was pleased with this clean well ventilated store. The conures had healthy beaks on them. The finches were actively singing. Budgies look plump and happy. Tim and his staff were great and recommended all sorts of safflower mixes for my baby conure. Will be coming back again

Got my budgies from them as petsmart did not have any. The only complaint is that their items are expensive. Got a food pack for $22. They also have a very poor way of catching the birds. My budgies were very frightened after that experience. Took them a few days to settle down.

I went to buy budgies for the 3rd time. I liked their new shop which is close to the old one. New place is much more tidy and spacious enough. Also, the quality and quantity of budgies and other birds are better than my past experiences.

STAY AWAY! Animals will be traumatized, underweight, and neglected! Lucky if your new pet survives a week after you bring it home :( Place needs to be shut down immediately! Absolutely heartbreaking! The humane society needs to step in!

Wonderful pet shop run by wonderful people who really care about the animals, we have canaries and most recently budgies. We boarded our birds there while we were away and they took wonderful care of them. Thank you so much

I have just acquired my second bird from Central Pet - their animals are healthy and they interact with them as much as possible. If you are considering a long term avian companion, definitely go and talk to them.

I love the store and people are very friendly . I got 2 baby birds from them and my birdies are beautiful and healthy. I recomend this place to everyone. Those are my baby's from central pet.

Extensive bird/fish supplies. Almost non-existent cat/dog selection but has limited selection of food, water fountains, and mess cleanup cleaners. No harnesses, leashes, or toys.

Quaint little store that has all kinds of birds and pets! Hands down the best one to go to!

Good selection on birds got my beautiful budgies there.
