While it is a close to home vet hospital, the only thing this Dr. Theoret care, is money. I am not just saying it’s expensive, if you don’t have enough big budget, don’t even think about here. Trust me when I say she only care about money cause don’t try her with your loved ones and found out at the end. Every time they told you the price per visit is about $200-300, But the truth is, the price per visit will be close to 1000 dollars or more. And every time they find a way to force you do more unbelievable tests and getting shots. They say all different kind of suspected things to make you worry and basically force you to do the test. Yes you read it correctly. FORCE YOU. After doing wild test for three visits in a row within two months and for nothing. Nothing came back positive. And don’t even think about not do those wild guessed tests, cause the minutes you refuse, that’s the minute you hear from this Dr. says “if you don’t do the tests, I won’t treat you pets nor vaccine him. Cause I am all alone and I can not leave out the tests. you are not welcome if you don’t have money, don’t come back.” Those are the exact words Dr. money said after I try to turned down the forth over $1000 dollar tests. Unbelievable crazy!

I brought my Wirehaired Pointing Griffon in to see the vet as he was having some bowel movement issues (blood in the feces). I was very worried about my dog because he has always been very healthy without any problems. Dr Theoret was excellent in explaining what course of action should be taken, ie, what would be the first steps and what to do next if it did not resolve the problem. She had a hunch it was hookworm, and suggested a course of action and provided instructions for his care until the tests came in. (She also explained what each test was and why it was being done)! It was hookworm in the end and she took the time to follow up with us personally and explain the next steps and how to administer the medications. She also took the time to explain the differences in the preventive medications for heartworm, hookworm, etc ... that his previous vet clinic did not do (and could potentially have avoided this visit to the Vet if they had)! The Doctor followed up after the treatment as well to ensure that everything went well and that he is back to health. Top notch! I live downtown but am convinced its worth the drive to get the best service!

We went to Centrepointe Animal Hospital after a stressful experience with our regular vet clinic. My dog needed a procedure that was risky, due to her age and an unrelated health condition. Feeling uncertain and uninformed, when your pet's health and life are in question, is awful. It was a relief to be able to deal with someone so thorough and thoughtful as Dr. Theoret. She suggested a number of tests (that all made perfect sense) and a course of action I was comfortable with. I was made aware of the risks, but also felt fully informed about the options, which helped me make a decision I thought was the best for my dog. I had full confidence in the procedure being done well and with all needed precautions. My dog recovered well and was given a chance to live happy and healthy years, instead of gradual and, as it was implied by the previous vet, inevitable deterioration over mere months she had left. All their staff is great, caring and professional, and you really feel your pet is getting a good care there. This is also the cleanest vet clinic I have been to.

So far, I am incredibly impressed with the two visits Esquire has had with Dr. Theoret. Her and her staff have been more than helpful when it comes to my concerns and questions I have, being the new kitten owner that I am. I sometimes send an email when I have that nervousness/gut feeling that something may be wrong, and I'm usually sent a reply back within the same day or the next morning with the answer that usually solves all my worries. The location is great, being in a quiet area, and not too far from me. The pricing is reasonable on everything from, shots/kitten care, to kitten treats. Dr. Theoret has a great calm voice which makes the experience great not only for me but also for Esquire. He's a brave kitty! Also she gives him salad biscuits. I highly recommend anyone who is a new pet owner, to immediately swing by the Centrepointe Animal Hospital.

Being a cat owner for many years i have had to deal with many veterinary clinic over the years and from my personal experience Dr Theoret is the best i have ever had the pleasure to deal with. I trust her experience and counsel completely and praise her work ethics constantly to people around me. Her surgery techniques are years ahead of anything I've seen before and her care to make sure our pets are treated as well, if not better, than family member is duly noted. Her staff is also amazing. They are always smiling, understanding and helpful. You can tell that they went into this profession because they love animal. I was very pleased with Centrepointe Animal Hospital when I brought my dog in for her annual checkup. The receptionist was very polite and greeted me upon arrival and my dog was seen by Dr. Theoret without any wait time. The clinic is very tidy and organized and the location is perfect walking distance for me and my dog. Dr. Theoret spent time with me explaining everything I wanted to know and answering my questions. She was very knowledgeable about nutrition and informative about what protection my dog needs as we take frequent trips to the dog park. I wanted to thank them all for the wonderful care they provided for my dog. The experience was very pleasant and I look forward to returning with my other pet.

I've been taking my husky here for over a year, and cannot praise this place enough. I've been to many vets in the past, and no where have I found such professional and personal service. The team somehow recognize every animal that comes in the door, and you never feel pressured to buy additional unnecessary. They just give you all the information you need, their expert medical opinions, and help you make the right decisions for your pet. Dr. Theoret is phenomenal, she's extremely intelligent, and able to simplify complex medical information for people like you and me. The only caveat, is just like any great clinic, you do need to plan ahead as they get booked up sometimes. But that's a good sign!

My family and I lost our beloved cat, and they were extremely patient and helpful throughout the process of deciding what was best. I’ve taken a cat and two dogs to Dr. Theoret over the past ten years. Everyone at the hospital cares deeply about the animals they treat and Dr. Theoret is incredibly thorough during every exam. My first dog had a rare and progressive neurological condition and Dr. Theoret always took the time to answer the list of questions I would bring to our appointments. When he developed a complication and an emergency vet didn’t think he would make it, Dr. Theoret put together a treatment plan that prioritized his comfort—and gave us an extra six months together. I’m so grateful to everyone at the hospital for what they’ve done for us.

While I find that Dr. Theoret's services to be particularly expensive, I continued to take my dog due to great care that we received. Following the death of our senior dog, I brought our puppy in to have him vaccinated on a number of occasions. Unfortunately I missed two appointments due to unforseen circumstances, one being a family emergency where I followed up with a phone call to reschedule. We were unceremoniously and immediately "kicked out" of her practise during this attempt to reschedule due to these two missed appointments, much to our shock and chagrin. While she is a good Dr., money seems to be her bottom line.

I've spent my fair share of time and money at Centrepointe Animal Hospital and have nothing but excellent things to say. I have a very accident prone dog and because of that I've gotten to know Dr. Theoret, Leslie, and Rebecca very well. They have been very clear, transparent, and honest with me about my pet's health. They make it easy to understand the problem and the different solutions to whatever it may be, then work with me to find the solution that's easiest on me, my dog, and my wallet. It's very obvious that they care about their clients and their pets. I can't recommend them enough!

As a first time PetSmart owner I have been taking my Bernese Mountain dog to Centrepoint Animal hospital since she was 8 weeks old and I have nothing but nice things to say about the whole staff there. They have always made decisions that's in the best interest of dog and have they keep me informed of what each and every medication is for and how to best give them. They always call a day in advance to remind me of my pets up coming appointment. I really love that I can call if I have any questions and they are more the willing to answers and provide the guidance I need.

I took my dog for a regular check-up and Dr. Theoret was great! She spent lots of time discussing her recommendations and answering questions. I have never had a vet spend as much time with my dog in a single appointment. She was gentle and friendly with my dog, and clearly loves working with animals, which makes the visit a pleasure! I was very impressed that she recommended waiting a few years to start my dog on senior supplements. No words can appropriately describe how highly I think of the staff at Centerpointe Animal Hospital. They have been our regular veterinary clinic for our 3 year old boxer for the past two years. They are absolutely fantastic. Leslie and Dr. Theoret are absolute angels and fantastic with our pup every time we have to bring him in. Not only does our cat receive first class care from Dr Theoret, the entire team are more than easy to deal with, polite, friendly and so helpful. Whiskas our former stray tabby cat is very fussy about who he smiles for and he was so happy that we had found him a kind female vet from his home town of Montreal - his preference! Dr. Theoret saved my dog Peanut's life after going to a 24 hour vet clinic in Ottawa for a medical emergency where they had us wait over 5 hours without seeing a vet. Had to leave the emergency vet and take my dog to Centrepointe where Dr. Theoret was able to save him. Peanut continues to thrive and my family and I are very grateful! I'll never go anywhere else again.

I brought my kitty cat to Centrepointe for the 1st time & WOW!!! They are fantastic!! From the second I walked in the door until I walked out, the staff & Vet (can't remember her name) were the best I've ever experienced. The Vet was so gentle & caring & so helpful. & the place was spotless!! I recommend this clinic to ANYONE with a pet, hands down.

We have been referred to Dr Theoret by a friend of ours. Unfortunately, our 14 year old Labrador was diagnosed with cancer. Dr Theoret provided us with the best palliative care to ensure he would be comfortable until the end. We are very greatful to Dr Theoret and her team. We feel our Labrador was in good hands from the beginning until the end.

I have been bringing my two dogs to Dr. Theoret since they were born. She always provides great service, and great recommendations/options for treatment. When I called and asked prices, they were not the same as when I went there and they didn't inform me that I had only a certain amount of time to get the second set of shots or they would have to be redone at my expense Wich was about 300$ , not happy with this place at all, I would not ever recommend this animal hospital!

We've been fostering and have rescued many dogs over the years. We have had may very good vets over that time but Dr. T and her staff are a cut above the rest. The care my dogs get is always the absolute best. Dr. Theoret's training, experience and caring she has for the animals always shines through.

All the staff here are absolutely wonderful, from the receptionist, to the technician, to the vet herself! Dr. Theoret is very sweet, attentive and clear in her instructions. She gives all the options and lets you choose. I don't find her pushy and my puppers are nice and healthy under her care!

This is a fabulous vet. I went in for some emergency care for my cat because I couldn't get to my usual vet. They where very accommodating and provided the utmost care. Have helped me to manage a very stressful and difficult situation. Always take time to explain what needs to be done and why.

Just moved and decided to try this vet after reading so many great reviews and I was not disappointed. The receptionist is really nice and the vet is kind, explains herself well and I didn't find her pushy. She suggests natural treatments before actual medication, which I appreciate.
