I come to Cermak produce on a weekly basis.. every Saturday, to be exact. Some of the cashiers are not very welcoming and dry or having conversations with other coworkers. If I'm saying hello and thank you, they should have the same courtesy. A few times, there have been items in the sales paper, but the prices are not reflecting the item. As an example, I mentioned to the butcher that the salmon was on sale, and he seemed like he didn't want to change the price until I showed him the paper. I feel like this is done on purpose. This isn't the first time this has happened. They are just trying to take advantage of people with making them pay full price.

I usually go to the deli and love it. Could be a bit more organized though. The meat counter is pretty good, I can usually get what I want. The cashiers are friendly and if you buy over a certain amount they will drive you home. There are other perks as well, free pop if you buy over a certain dollar amount. The parking lot can be cramped at times and if everyone exiting the parking lot would turn right instead of trying to get across Halstead and go left, traffic can be pretty bad at times, there would be no long lines of traffic trying to get out of the parking lot.

I love this grocery store! I can walk there in 20 minutes around McGuan Park. It has fantastic produce, which is always fresh and reasonably priced. I also like the fact that they have an Asian section, so that I can get Asian ingredients that are not always found at other grocery stores. The manager is always making sure that things run smoothly in the store and he is always available if you have any issues. The check out lines move quickly and the staff is highly efficient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this gem of a store!

I usually go to this place for the cooked food which is great. I have no complaints about that my complaint is about their produce. You would think with a name like Cermak Produce they have the best...wrong!! I was there buying cooked food and decide to grab a few other items. I bought bag of mandarin oranges and it went bad within 3 days. I also bought a bag of onions and a bag of potatoes. They also went bad within a few days. Waist of money!!! Terrible produce!!!

Spectacular prices on produce, and great selection of hard to find produce. Meat tends to be expensive here if its not on sale. Their hot lunch specials at the hot bar are hard to beat and their prepackaged cut up fruit is awesome for a snack. They also have decent sushi at the deli ready to go. Did i mention their freaking amazing selection of craft beers? I just wish they had a few more Vegan friendly grocery items and a Vegan option at the hot bar.

Went to Cermak earlier on Halsted, picked up a package of Dutch Farm onion bagels...dated good to May 15. Well they were hard on one side and watery on the other and had mold on them! You would think the only grocery store in walking distance would have better products for their prices...I do not buy milk from them, they are selling spoiled milk and putting further dates on there. Beware people...this place sucks and it is my only go to store

This has been my go-to grocery store since it opened down the block from me in 2011. The prices on some things are not as good as you'd find at Jewel or Mariano's (mainly big name brand junk food) but overall they keep things affordable and the variety of produce in unparalleled. The seafood is mediocre but the meat department is good. And regardless this store is 100 times better than the Jewels that occupied the same spot before 2011.

Some of the more common household staples here are higher priced than their competitors. This is where I purchase all of my produce and also meats. The selection is fresh and plentiful and the cashiers are pretty friendly. I’ve never had an issue parking in their lot and this given how many people appear to always be shopping here. It’s a popular place. I’ve been coming here for years. Make sure to bring a quarter for your cart!

I'm giving 4 stars because the vegetables and fruits are priced so well and the selection is large. The deli is GREAT and extremely reasonable. I only knocked off one star because it's like everything else is priced so high, I don't know how anyone could afford to fully shop there. I get my fruits, veggies and lunch meat... otherwise in case of an emergency, I'll grab something else... overall would recommend.

This place is the absolute best for produce! They have ANY & EVERY ethnic root, spice, produce you may desire! It is always fresh and the place is spotless. They have a little bakery inside, a nice selection of fish, meat section is wonderful. They fall a bit short in the cheese department, but not short enough to take off a star. They sell beer & wine too. I love Cermak market and so do all my friends!

I Love this store. They have all the staple foods plus lots of international foods. I make lots of potstickers and they have every ingredient I could possibly use right there in the store. They also have a great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. The meat section is great. They have fresh fish, chicken, beef, pork in all different cuts and loads of of spices. I Love this store!!!

I love this grocery. It is always clean and organized. The produce is great. They have their own bakery and deli. I feel like their selection is really geared towards healthy eating. You might not be able to find everything but it has helped me make healthier choices when I grocery shop. They do have a lot of variety and the opportunity to try unique things you don’t see other places.

My favorite local grocery store! Fresh produce at affordable prices every week. Although sometimes a little too salty, overall the whole rotisserie chicken and entire Mexican/Hispanic hot foods are delicious. As an added bonus, the store is kept well organized and clean daily. My favorite neighborhood grocery store. Great selection of produce, fresh baked goods, awesome butchers who cut, season and package a variety of meats. And they have a deli. The store is always clean, items are restocked as needed all throughout the day. Best times to shop are early to mid morning. One more very important thing, the staff is very helpful and attentive.

Reasonable costs, quick help, open parking areas, and whatever else. This basic food item shop truly has everything, and I'm dazzled on the grounds that their staffs are extra useful and amicable. Likewise, the climate here is genuinely stunning, and all that I really wanted was accessible. To be sure, the best spot to have your staple requirements! Firmly suggested!

I am loving this store more and more. Today I found TWO obscure items that even Whole Foods didn't have. This is the only chain where I have ever found caramel made from goat milk (allergic to cow's milk). GREAT international section, extensive produce section, clean, friendly... Even better, they're opening a store even closer to me in the next year or so.

Over all, it's a clean place for grocery. They have the best price on fresh chilis, citruses, and cilantro. They always have milk and eggs when other places are ran out. The quality of fruit and vegetables are much lower than what you will find in the Whole foods, but they are always cheap. If you're on a budget for grocery, come to Cermak Produce.

Friendly neighborhood grocery market. They have reasonable prices ( they have gone up a bit recently though). The staff is very helpful and the store is well kept and check out is always quick and easy. Great selection of produce and deli. It does get a bit busy at times and makes it difficult to maneuver around quickly so I visit on the off hours.

Good people the manager Jimmy Angel an angel and Fatima and most of our employees are so kind and if you just want to go there just to look at beautiful woman besides are good food they sell hot food back there that you can have for breakfast lunch and they got a beautiful deli most of the employees been there a long time I'm there 3 times aweek

Morning deli staff will ruin your experience enough to shop somewhere else. Deli staff is extremely rude and provides terrible customer service. Staff goes as far as to talk sh!t and bad mouth you right in front of you. Manager was informed on way out. Management has been informed of rude staff and poor customer service and did nothing.

What I like the most about this place is diversity especially in foods Cheese, drinks, meat, fruits and vegetables. Everything is fresh and trust me if you do not have self control, you may stay there for too long. The store is massive and everything is available. Parking is widely available and it has wheelchair accessibility.

Cermak Market is one of my favorite stores. I love their selection of meats and fresh vegetables. They bakery is good, too. The warm fresh baked French bread is delicious. They also have very good cooked Mexican Food if wanting a meal already prepared. Some of their grocery items are pricey. I prefer Walmart for grocery items

It's very versatile. Great selection and good prices. Clean and modest. Very courteous employees and the clientele is reflected in the Chinese and Mexican products available. I love this market! Inexpensive veggies fruits meat and produces. The parking lot never slows down but you can always find a spot. They have Mexican food, Asian food and even Asian snacks! If you take bus, there is a stop just in front of the store. They have restroom open without a key. Just FYI.

Great fresh meats and clean store. However parking can be risky. Some people park yo close or in both lanes or really close to your car. Just be careful park away from the store to secure your card safety from scraps. But the store is great for fruits and meats always fresh always good.

Amazing craft beer selection, Great produce, and nice variety of meat. The only negative is limit healthier options. No gluten free bread which unfortunately is something I need to buy, so I can't always go here. It's a great local joint that can easily be your main grocer.

I have been to other stores in this area all.the way down to South Loop and by far this store is the best. It's a little smaller than most but ita clean and the produce is really good. People come on shop and pretty much mind their business. Service is great too.

The produce is fairly priced and excellent. Plenty of staples in Mexican and Asian fare you might be hard-pressed to find elsewhere. The meats are fresh and relatively inexpensive and the whole place just makes grocery shopping feel less like a chore. Love it.

Good produce and nice selection of Mexican and Asian foods. Bakery has some fresh cakes and pastries. Overall, not the cheapest grocery store but I'd still rather support the local grocer that I can walk to rather than Mariano's and have to do self checkout.

Well stocked, you can always find workers on the floor to ask a question (most of them will help). Prices are ok, produce looks fresh. They could have better customer service they all seem like they wish they where some place else and no one smiles ever.

It was great I just moved to the neighborhood and this is going to be my supermarket store beginning now. Very clean and neat also I was looking for mail stamps and they told me they didn't sell those but one guy gave me a couple of them. Thank you!

CONVENIENCE, neat, clean, almost 1 stop shopping. The products they carry are average quality, not really good nor bad. If I need things urgently, I stopped by otherwise I rather go somewhere else that a little further to get my groceries shopping.

Getting a box of green bananas was so hard. They tossed me around until I told them that it’s the only cermak that doesn’t sell boxes of green bananas. Then brought the box but hiked the price as if it was my fault to buy in large quantities.

I like it! Kinda reminds me of a Mexican Jewels! They seem to have the Best most reasonably priced Steaks that I've seen since One Stop foods. With a Large fruit & Seafood section. You'll most likely find what you're looking 4 here dear!

The prices overall continue to be quite affordable at this location. This store always has the best variety of greens and produce and great french bread too! Great assortment of packaged meats or get your choice cuts with the butcher.

Loved this supermarket! It was a small location but had a great variety of items and everything I needed! They had all the seasonal items on display and at a great price! Lines weren’t long either was able to go in and out quickly.

Their produce game is always on point. They have a wide variety that many bigger chains just don't have. Their pricing is also very affordable, so of the best in town. They are always my goto spot for quick greens or fruit.

The produce section is so beautiful! The selection is so inclusive, and when I paid attention I saw that the different vegetables were grouped by country of origin. Genius! A huge help when trying to put a menu together.

Great place to get harder to find items on the South Side, along with awesome produce. Though the prices can be a little higher on some more common items. Over all, it's a great neighborhood grocery store.

Cermak is the best produce place around bang for buck. If you go to Marianos or Jewel Osco, you'll be paying 2x the price. I'm never disappointed. The staff is also amazing all around.
