Update: There was not misunderstand. Austin over promised and underdelivered. He sent a crew that he never used and left them unsupervised. Austin was quick to collect his money without any compensation. I now have to hire a company that knows what they are doing and fix the issues. I would only use them for external projects. I so wanted to write a good review as the ones I have been seeing, but I think we got an inexperienced crew that was not prepared for our project. Austin was great at the beginning, but never disclosed they only paint what they see. I had refacing done to my cabinets and this crew was not prepared to cover the old hinges and make my cabinets look clean and fresh. Their attention to detail was lacking and I am still having to paint some area under by cabinet because that was not what they do. They did our walls as well and that was done nicely. This crew he had is more of a outdoors crew or wall crew, but don't put them on cabinets especially if you are refacing. We even talked about not painting the inside of my new Kitchen draws and guess what, they got painted. Austin went back on the conversation not the ending result of what was decided on and I was not compensated. I had to go to corporate to get a resolution. Til this day, Austin did not do a walk thru with me only my husband when corporate said they would make sure he did a walk thru with both of us. Austin is a great guy, but my brother in law use to be a painter so I know the detail that has to be done to get a job done right and I felt like with the reviews of how detailed his crews were and how on top of things Austin was along with all we discussed before the project, I got fooled. People, question Austin on what he paints, how detailed his crew is and go over specific information of what is expected as your expectation and his could be different. I will say though, Austin has an eye for color choice.

We hired the Bellaire CertaPro franchise to paint our four story stucco home, and it was an exceptional disaster. The first crew was not prepared to work on a home like ours. Without permission they drilled scaffolding into our house, they rarely communicated interior access needs or a schedule ahead of time, and they often left ladders chained to our gates or tied to our house overnight/over weekends. The second crew was better, but the job in total took nearly a month and a half (a month longer than we’d been quoted). At the end of it all the business owner filed a mechanic’s lien on our property AFTER we’d paid him (information he apparently didn’t provide his attorney in order to file the lien). In the midst of it he made a donation to a charity in our name— not only strange, but costly behavior. We absolutely cannot recommend this particular CertaPro franchise, all we can do is spare anyone else the cost, time, and trouble.

Wow, Austin and his team are great! They painted our brick home, along with siding and trim. They team was very prompt and thorough. The attention to detail was exemplary- the punch list was virtually zero, which is really saying something as my husband and I have worked with many contractors during home renovations. The communication with Austin as his team was very good. Potential delays due to paint shortages were explained, but thankfully avoided. One other item to note, is that it was obvious that Austins team were trained and reliable, not day laborers. The results of their efforts were excellent! I would use this team again for any painting project I have in the future. Thanks, Austin!

We first used Certa-Pro Bellaire to do some touch up and small repairs before selling our house in West University. They did an excellent job, we’re very neat, on time and reasonably priced. We hired Austin’s team to paint the interior of our new house. Austin once again was extremely responsive and competitively priced. We had an issue and Austin took care of it immediately. We will continue to use Austin for all our painting needs.

I have used Austin and his team for several painting projects from trim and shutters to soffits (repairing many years of water damage from delayed maintenance by prior owners) to a whole home lime wash. Every time the entire operation is extremely professional, courteous and they do a great job. I will use Austin and CertaPro again and again and have no reservations recommending them to anyone! They do great work.

Manage a property in Houston and Austin and his crew were awesome. They were able to pressure wash & repaint the front of the building to make it look brand new! They were always on time, left a clean job site, kept me informed on a daily basis, shared pictures, and my tenants were extremely happy. Would not hesitate to use CertaPro Bellaire again on any project.

They were very professional and clean. They painted the exterior of my house. They pulled away some dirt from the foundation of the house to be able to get complete coverage. Austin was easy to deal with and explained the whole process well.

Why does it cost so much to paint? These guys pay like $5-20 per gallon for paint and want to charge you $1200 to repaint 2 rooms.
