"Plenty of appealing cooked breakfasts here and at sizes where you won't go hungry"
"So I came here today and wanted to order the mushroom forest"
"Great service, cracking food with a cool chef! I love the sort of industrial look to the place, it definitely stands out from the rest of the cafes/restaurants in Blackburn"
"We love Charlottes corner, we go there every Saturday and Sunday after our morning walk, Peter and the team are always so friendly and the coffee is 10/10"
"Nice little local cafe with great service"
Plenty of appealing cooked breakfasts here and at sizes where you won't go hungry. The coffee is good, and the service attentive and friendly. The cafe's decor might seem a little basic but there is a wealth of beautiful wood, much of it recycled floorboards which I appreciated. Spot the Singer sowing machine, box and stand! More
So I came here today and wanted to order the mushroom forest. However, mushroom was sold out. The staff was so kind to have offered me that they could get some mushroom for me if I’m happy to wait for a bit. I waited- not even long, prob just a few mins. And it tasted so good. Very happy with the service and food. Thank you!
Great service, cracking food with a cool chef! I love the sort of industrial look to the place, it definitely stands out from the rest of the cafes/restaurants in Blackburn. It is however a wee bit small and I'll sometimes find the place full with nowhere to sit. Apart from that, best cafe in Blackburn!
We love Charlottes corner, we go there every Saturday and Sunday after our morning walk, Peter and the team are always so friendly and the coffee is 10/10. We are always meeting people in the neighbourhood here, such a nice community feeling cafe …
Nice little local cafe with great service. I had the Mexican chicken burger for lunch which was very juicy and tasty and my friend had a grilled chicken salad. The pricing was quite reasonable. I would definitely come back in future to try more options from the menu More
Boss was very kind, apologised to customers as they left when he had to move them to a different table so that my family and my friend’s family will have somewhere to sit. The food was very good too, especially the eggs. I could also hear
Had the chicken & halloumi salad (includes orange& apple slaw) with sesame dressing. Was an interesting combo but it worked. The sesame sauce was delicious but tad heavy handed. I would have preferred it on the side as it was little salty.
I bought an iced matcha latte here and it was not it. First of all its costed $8.50 which is honestly the most expensive iced matcha i have bought, however it was really big. However the taste of the drink overall was not good at. Tasted
A cafe with a heap of character and a surprising amount of space inside and out. Good coffee and a menu with plenty to keep everyone happy. If your feeling ambitious or hungry so try their breakfast quesadilla it is loaded with all your
I have been to this cafe on a few occasions now spanning 5 months, each time I have found staff there to be attentive, friendly and proactive about our comfort. They are very family friendly both in services and meals. Then there is the
Best breakfast ever. Service is fantastic went to the cafe with my fur baby and sat at the courtyard area. Asked for a bowl of water for my boy and waitress don’t even make a fuss about it, she brought it out straight away. Ordered corn
This place practices age discrimination! If you're old you have to sit at the back, away from the large window where you can be seen from the street We ordered coffee and sat down at the large communal table in the front of the shop by
Absolutely amazing. My husband and I needed to have breakfast as we were out running errands. Found this cafe and we were blown away by the amazing coffee. The food was delicious and hospitality was great. I would definitely recommmend
I would probably give this place 3.5 but we can't do half stars! haha. I took my friend out today - a Blackburn local for their birthday. We wanted to go to Honey Thief but they shut early because of the grand final. Mezze was also
Very excited to find this cafe. The best fruit toast I have found for a long time!!! And the only time I have seen gluten free bread actually toasted well. We loved the ambience, coffee, service and food. Definitely be back!
I arrived in Melbourne 10 days ago. Visited Charlotte's corner 19/8. This place has the best coffee and breakfast so far. Also well priced. And the service is smiling and funny. Looking forward to my next visit.
Located in a corner of the main road. The cafe is small but has a back yard. The place looks a combination. The menu is decent. The place has good fresh muffins. Tried a pineapple muffin which has very yummy.
Great local cafe , food was amazing so was the presentation. Great healthy options and also the usuals. Has a Kids play area at the back and a really funky feel. Ticks all boxes , will definatley be back
Maple bacon eggs benedict is apparently eggs Benedict with maple "flavoured" syrup poored over it. Gross. Wife had the mushroom thing, said it was covered in some nasty testing oil. Would not dine again
Great food and staff. Highly recommend the egg and bacon rolls and the chicken salad with halloumi. Can eat inside or outside on a nice day. Situated along strip shops so parking easy also. More
Great food, chilli scramble eggs was divine with amazing flavours. Hollandaise sauce tasted amazing as well. Outdoor covered seating available which was lovely too. Highly recommended! More
I had a disappointing experience at this brunch place. The food was too greasy, and the restaurant had a strong smell of cooking oil, making the overall experience quite unpleasant. More
I ordered the mushrooms with egg and bread (the name of the dish should be something like “mushroom forest” but I am not sure). It’s light and fresh, highly recommend it as brunch.
A lovely place for coffee in the area. The staff are super friendly & welcoming. Love their use of Bonsoy/Milk Lab almond milk for coffee. The coffee is nice for takeaway
First visit to this Cafe, and it will certainly not be my last. The food is so wholesome and utterly delicious. Good quality ingredients and made with such a passion.
First time here and loved it! Ordered the Three Amigos and pulled pork Benedict with roti. Both were delicious! Very well priced too. Will definitely be back.
I just had the best chilli scrambled eggs! They also had a delish mushroom medley!!! Staff is super friendly. Highly recommend for brunch/ breakfast:)
Coffe was good but the burger was very dry and hard to eat in a burger, and the spicy pork wasn’t the best too sweet and taste mushy texture More
The Bacon and Egg sandwich was great. Staff friendly and up for a chat. Would definitely recommend this place. Coffee was just right
Went with my family for mother's day. Happy to have found this place. Great staff, the owner is super friendly and the chef too.
Coffee is frothed very well! Really like it. Consistent good quality coffee even when they are very busy! Friendly service too!
The mushroom breakfast was very nice but I prefer served on a plate so that the bread doesn't become soggy. More
Fantastic service, delicious coffee, mouth-watering food and generous servings! Highly recommend!
