"Better than the Stassney location! Tried doing an IRA transfer and was told by customer service I needed a specific form filled out and notarized"
"Brandon Lizardi is the best asset at Chase on this location (and the company)"
I just tried to use this branch to get a document notarized - a service Chase offers their customers for free. When I walked in it looked like no one was working - the layout here is very strange, with the tellers in the back corner. I was instructed to sign in to see a banker for the notarization, which I did, and then waited for 25 minutes. While I waited I got to direct two other people on how to get help, what with the confusing layout and lack of actual staff. Since it was my lunch break, a time when I assume a lot of people run errands to the bank, I checked to see if there was anyone else who could help me - I needed to get back to work. I was told that, sorry, there was only one banker right now and he was with a client, and the employee I was speaking to said he couldn't help me for another half hour. When I told him I was on a time limit he suggested I go to Going Postal, where I could have the pleasure of paying for notary services and waiting yet again.
These are without a doubt the most friendly, professional, and amazing people you would want to do business with as a business owner. I have come here with a variety of questions, requests, and needs over the last year and John and Justin have reminded me exactly what it should be like working with a bank to grow your business. It’s about relationships at the end of the day, and that’s what will keep me coming back to Chase year over year. These are two amazing individuals who really care about you as a customer, and you can feel that. Thank you so much!
Overall, I'm satisfied with Chase as a bank. This location has really nice staff and helpful management. But their drive-up ATM's are awful. And that's mainly what I use this branch for. Either they're not working, or they can't read my check, or on one occasion, the machine ate my checks and didn't return them to me, which prompted me to have to call the national customer service number to get it resolved. I get that the drive-up ATM's are operated by another vendor, but if Chase is going to use them, they need to keep them in better working order.
Better than the Stassney location! Tried doing an IRA transfer and was told by customer service I needed a specific form filled out and notarized. Went in the branch told them specifically what I needed and was basically ignored. The Hispanic man had me sit there for an hour while getting someone on the phone. I’m 38 weeks pregnant and this was extremely inconsiderate. I walked out with the forms I could have simply printed elsewhere without the hassle.
Brandon Lizardi is the best asset at Chase on this location (and the company). He was very helpful in finding the right solution to my case and went the extra mile to get it resolved. He followed up with me to ensure everything was ok. It is unusual to have a banker who takes such interest in meeting a customers' needs. I am grateful and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Thank you Brandon!
A manager at this branch was a human to me today when I needed one the most. She was able to offer a solution when her colleagues at corporate customer service left me hanging with their own mistake on my debit card. I didn't get her name, but my kitty and I are home from the vet and we are so appreciative that she was able to find a way to help us get some of our money to the vet and go home!
You can cash your check or drain all the money out of your account in the drive thru but you can't update your address? You have to go inside to update your address. Convenience is not a word to be used at this location. Take a risk, go inside and hope some masked gunman doesn't decide to Rob the place while you're in there. They would rather you do that than be safe in your truck.
We were driving Seattle to Miami and needed a Chase branch when we were staying in Austin. Manuel Murillo was the gentleman who helped us. What a great experience! We got everything we needed done quickly, without any unanswered questions left, tons of recommendations and professionalism. If you need any help regarding your banking, Manuel will serve you best. Thanks a lot!
Rude and unhelpful. Tried to open a business account, they said we’d have to wait TWO weeks to even be seen by somebody. Guy claimed no bank would be able to help us same day or open bank account same day. Went across the street to both Wells Fargo and UFCU. Both helped us and seated us, we walked out with a business checking account at UFCU with lower fees 30 min later.
This branch acted like it was a hassle to serve us. Of the three ladies that were behind the desk, all three were dabbling in and out of helping us with cashing rolls of coins in. This made it even longer to get in and out. The original teller helping us out at the beginning disappeared at the end; poor attitudes. If you want good customer service this is not the place.
I cant wait to transfer my money out if this bank for good! I'm so tired of the youtrade investment platform. 90% of the time it won't load and I can't access my funds or trades. I can't even access positions 90% of the time. If you need basic checking and savings with credit card sure this is OK. But don't use their investment solutions.
Just wanted to give a shoutout to Enrique and Robert at this location. I came in super stressed and unsure of what all I needed to do (I had just lost most of my personal belongings) and they were above and beyond kind, patient, and helpful. This was really great customer service and I cannot thank or recommend them enough.
This is the single worst bank I have ever been to. They are not capable of keeping more than one of the three ATMs working so on the weekend there are 10 cars wrapped around the building like a drive through. This bank probably serves roughly 200,000 people in south austin and is a stain on the chase brand.
They charge a fee for cashing their own checks. This is RIDICULOUS! My daughter earns money from the state for college courses she takes as a minor, and Chase takes that money away from her simply to convert it from paper to to cash. Way to nickel and dime your community, Chase. Horrible business practices.
My mother wants to open a checking account and Miss Mila, instead of attending to us, went into the bathroom to kill time so as not to attend to us. Another representative came to tell me that if she didn't attend to us in 20 minutes we would return on Monday. Horrible attitude
My teller was so friendly and engaged in small talk while also demonstrated efficiency during my transaction to order checkbooks. I so wish I could remember her name! Also, a man named John came out and gave my 1-year-old a coloring book.
Always a great experience at Chase. I have my personal and business checking here. The tellers are exceptionally friendly and prompt. The staff has always been good through the and I'm very thankful to be working with such a great bank!
Why in the whole building there is only one person that can possibly help the customer? No other option was offered, but just to come back another time when this one person is available. Pretty sad customer service
Use to be able to get cash from the atm at the front door after hours. Now it’s only during business hours. Kinda defeats the purpose of having an atm by the front doors. Offer other bills at the drive thru atm.
Have been a Chase Bank Customer for many years they are very professional and have been able to help us in our Banking needs for along time, very friendly staff and secure environment, highly recommended
Tiffani is very courteous, she took her time to explain and help me open a new account. Looking forward to continue banking at this location and using the very convenient services they offer!
These guys helped us set up two of our accounts. They walked us through all the details and answered all our questions. They have coffee and treats in the lobby and it's so close to our home.
This branch has too many empty cubicles and only has 1 person attending the front desk. To open an account, you have to wait close to a month for any problem with account services.
Robert is a very personable individual, excellent communications skills and great customer service! This branch treats Our company and personal accounts with expertise and care!
Justin Gomez is a true professional, and made my experience signing up for a credit card seamless. In general this Chase branch is very friendly and professional, thanks yall!
This branch was extremely helpful, friendly, and prompt when I showed up a few minutes before closing for notarization. In particular, Tim Jensen, was very kind and helpful.
Generally one of the worst chase branches I've ever been to. I've been with Chase for 10 years and they've gotten progressively worse. Might be time for a switch.
Trying for months to set up a appointment to meet with banker but they always to busy or booked for the whole month. Very disappointed with the service.
The staff and management team at this branch are incredibly helpful!! especially for small businesses in Austin, I would highly recommend them.
Way better Chase bank than the one on E stassney Lane; this bank actually helps it clients out with their problems and gets solutions quickly!
I own a car wash and do all of my small business banking here. I think the team is awesome. So friendly and they always take care of me.
Yep 6 cubicules for customer service only 1 person working. Hey chase, just close the branch and go full digital
DO NOT deposit any checks with them. And good luck calling them they just ignore the phone.
$12 monthly fee for a checking account? You make me sick. Change the name to Cheat Bank.
So much better management than the horrible Chase further west on Slaughter.
Justin is a good men! He help me with wireless transfer. Thank you.
Maria was so helpful with the issue we had!!! Love this location.
Fast and easy transaction!! Pleasant staff …
Perfect customer service
