I have been going to this mall for years and can’t help but notice how down hill it’s gone. Generally I’ll take the trax from Murray here so I don’t have to deal with parking but I can’t say I will do that anymore, there are way to many sketchy people at the city creek station now. The bathrooms are relatively small for a mall this size and they were very untidy. The food court was also very untidy with trash strewn about the floor and dirty tables left and right. I’m not sure if they hire anyone to keep the food court clean but they should definitely think about it if they don’t. I also feel like there has always been some sort of incident every time I’ve been here involving security and they have to run around everywhere to track someone down. I would say the only positive of this mall is that they have lots of different stores. I’ll probably just go to Fashion Place or South Town from now on :(
Very spacious shopping!! Covering two city blocks on two levels with every type of shop possible down town. The lazy driver is fun to interact with the fish or just people watch. Parking is free underground for the first so hours. I was there for 8 hours on a Tuesday and it cost $12. Access on all sides of the block including the center of the street. Take a ticket at the guard gate and pull in. Caution watch for where you park and what level. It is easy to get lost from your car down here so take a picture of the access elevator or escalator they are labeled as well as color-coded. This will make it easier when you leave to find your vehicle and white floor it’s on. Eating establishments are plentiful with endless options Pricing is very reasonable for downtown around $10 a person. We went to the Cheesecake Factory which is our favorite Diane town.
There is a little bit of everything for just about everyone here. We walked from one end to the other and had plenty to look at. The kids loved the creek running through the middle and even at one point we saw some trout living within. The mall has multiple levels filled with all kinds of stores. The parking garage had plenty of space and we had no problem finding parking. My favorite place was the food court, I got some pizza while my daughter got some frozen pizza. We felt safe and really enjoyed ourselves.
City Creek Center stands out as Utah's premier shopping destination. The retractable roof not only adds elegance but also ensures comfort during chilly weather. The mall's unique feature—a literal creek with fish—creates a serene atmosphere, turning your shopping experience into a tranquil escape. With an inexpensive parking structure offering spacious stalls, City Creek Center is a perfect blend of luxury, nature, and convenience.
Very spacious place having shops of all kinds for shopping viz. clothes, jewellery, foot wear, mobile phones, electronic gadgets etc. of reputed brands. It also have grand food court which serves continental food (American,Mexican, Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Nepali etc.)as per individual choice. It’s really good place to hang out and it is like a gem of the Salt Lake City.
Very, very nice indoor shopping center with a water "creek" running through it and outside areas as well. The best time to visit is around Thanksgiving or after when the mall is all decorated, and it always seems to be snowing. It could use a few more entertainment areas, such as more restaurants, but they do have a fancy food court. It's always a cool place to visit.
My kids beg to go to this mall. They have everything for everyone from toys and candy to high end clothing, furniture and jewelry along with department stores. The food court has a good variety, great seating and cute play area. The atmosphere is pretty with a little creek running down the center. Garage parking is easy and accessible.
Mall was extremely clean with great places to stop and sit when wanting to relax or just enjoy the atmosphere. The music was at an excellent pitch and the fish were a nice little addition to watch when walking by the creek. Parking was also fairly easy and inexpensive. Great location and service overall!
Fun with a lively vibe to it. Lots of stores and restaurants open and looking to help you with all your needs and wants. A bit loud as some cars and motorcycles were sans mufflers. Never saw a police presence, but then never saw anything that would require any. Nice to just walk or sit and people watch.
It's a Bice and pretty walk through I like it because most the stores have doors so they can do whatever bu t when your walking it's just a nice peaceful walk looking at the river and few fish! It's fun! We were able to take our wagon they have elevators to get up to the second floor or escalators!
My first time here. Parking is space but there is a parking garage. I didn't get to explore, as I was just picking up lunch. There's a lot of great places to shop and the food court is huge, both upstairs and downstairs. Definitely will go back to check it out further. Great tourist shopping point.
A beautiful outdoor mall with a roof they can close in the winter. A lot of high end stores. Beautiful landscaping. And a actual stream makes it's way through the mall itself. Bring the family or your special someone. You don't even half to spend any $. The ambience alone is worth the trip.
City Creek is the place to visit at Christmas, so festive! We took Trax with our teen son to City Creek for dinner and walked around a bit. I love the small creek that runs through the mall. If you’re going during the Holiday’s prepare for long lines and waits, overall it was worth it!
Wonderful shopping center. Loads of shops and food on offer. The seating areas are really nice. Underground parking made it nice as well. That they have free 2 hour parking is good for those that just wanna pop in for a quick shop and a snack and leave. I look forward to coming back.
This mall is awesome. Right now their Christmas decorations are up and it makes for a really cool atmosphere. The stores are really good too. Most stores can be accessed from walking indoors but there are a few accessible from only outside. Overall a really cool mall.
I'm not a huge mall person. But I needed to blow some time. Food court called my name about 10pm. Got the at 9:50 and was disappointed to see they all stopped making food. Old pizza? No thanks. It's a nice place to stroll around. Stores just not my cup of tea.
A huge mall with Nordstrom and several other stores. Indoor Outdoor at the same time. Very clean and pleasant. It's a must walk thru place and I enjoy the giant outdoor fire place or the fountain. lots of escalators and sky bridge for easy crossing thru town.
At the convention center all day felt like overload. I needed to rethink my shoe choices so I headed off to this mall for some quick retail therapy & wardrobe adjustments and stayed for lunch & to decompress. The mall is clean and beautiful
Is amazing and wonderful beautiful architecture the ceiling that comes up and great views and picture taking the stores are somewhat of an expense at your own risk and honestly the only portable ones if you're not looking to spend a lot is
I had a day in Salt Lake City to just explore the downtown area . As I was taking the Trax I stumbled upon this outdoor mall. To know me is to know I LOVE shopping. As such, I could not pass up an opportunity to see what the mall has to
This was our first time here. It is a great shopping center with plenty of food choices. There are a lot of escalators and elevators for everyone. The parking is under the center and was easy to move through. It was a nice visit.
Downtown Salt Lake City at the corner of 100 South and Main Street where the TRAX station runs right under the catwalk connecting City Creek Mall, with a real natural creek that runs through it and a retractable roof. Nice area.
Gorgeous wonderful experience. Shops are plentiful community areas, and restrooms are well kept. Enjoy creeks, fountains, and waterpad. Pet friendly family friendly parking in garage is not free but there is plenty
Terrific mall! I like how it starts at the food court with your standard mall stores like Forever 21 and Athleta. As you move towards Nordstroms it gets high end stores like Louis Vitton & Tiffany's.
To me this is possibly one of the best places in Salt Lake City. You feel like staying here for long. I believe one must visit this place in the late evening hours when its beauty is
A huge complex of stores to shop and browse. Food court is nice. Ample parking. Covered ceiling during winter is super and opened during the summer hot period is equally nice.
Nest experience with the open air shopping. Louis Vitton, Tiffany's and a host of other retailers & dining establishments. Underground parking complicates the visit a bit.
I enjoy the variety of shops, smells, visual offerings, and beautiful landscaping of City Creek. I only go when I'm in town at SLC, but always enjoy an afternoon there.
It's not a crazy mall, but it's enough for family outings, reasonable parking prices, a very clean, convenient- family oriented spot for weekends
It is a high-end shopping mall in the centre of Salt Lake City, downtown. Very secure place. There is a food court serving variety of dishes.
City creek is a great place to shop. Mix of stores with a lot of specialty ones. Really nice food court along with restaurants.
Lovely outdoor shopping area. Lots of stores and good food options. The fountains are nice and lots of places to sit and rest.
We spent the summer solstice at and around Temple Square and City Creek center and food court.
Wonderful, festive place to visit during the holiday season! Great shops, great food!
Utah's most beautiful mall. it's a must to visit when visiting downtown Salt Lake.
