The layout of Foothill Village and the one business I need to go to are bad. I am handicapped (close to being in a wheelchair). Anyway, Weight Watchers use to be accessible on one level on 33rd South but when it moved up to the Foothill Center they went to the second level. There are three ways to get to the company. One is up approx 20 stairs, one is to take the elevator inside a store that does not open early in the morning, and the last has a pedx crossing at the No, end with one tight lane, driving in each direction and nowhere to drop someone off. It is dangerous for all driving because it's the only place to use a ramp (I don't know about the accessibility at the So. of the mall). One time my foot got caught on the side of the ramp and I fell hard on the cement. I hope WW will change locations, but what's the chance of that, right? (I am now only attending meetings 2x a year because of what a bad situation this is.) In the meantime, FV should take into account all of the people who can not move around freely enough to access all of the upper level of shops. To top it all off, the parking really IS as bad as other people have said here. Hopefully the owners will read this post and can take some of these problems into account and design a better way that is accessible to everyone. I wish I knew how to contact them directly to voice my concerns.
Roth Living, awsome demo. I ended up choosing Wolf appliances for my new built instead of Thermador due to the success of their demo here. After years owning the subzero now...I have to say these refrigerators (36"×36") is designed to keep my vegetables fresh for months ...milks tastes great until the last day expiration...without any frosting nor rotten. BTW...anyone ever used my Convected Oven is amazed with baking possibilities and results. Asko dish washer is doing decent job to...it clean the dish and the interior of the machine itself...I meant spotless for the next load...no weird smell...no frosting steam...clean bottom.... And best of all optioned for truly water saver.
I went to the Utah Art Market here and had a blast. There was so much beautiful art by so many talented artists. It’s a great place to find unique display pieces for your home. Original art can be pricey, but most vendors sell high quality prints at much more affordable prices. I believe the art market is only held twice a year though, so if you miss it, you may have to wait months before you get another chance. This is a great little strip mall besides hosting the semi-annual art market. They have a diverse array of stores including restaurants, home good stores, and even a toy store to entertain children. It’s definitely a place worth visiting.
Some Great Shops and of corse Starbucks! BUT....While its feeling is more like a 90's yuppie wannabe leftover quaint poorly designed narrow access strip mall.... that sets upon a hillside angled steeply dug out as an afterthought development, its time has long ago come and gone and given way to real malls with less dangerous access and restrictions to vehicular traffic and heaven bid us poor pedestrians that might attempt to walk the narrow drive through hillside trench. If you are like me and prefer to be able to actually see a shop you favor as you pass by, or don't want major dings in your new Audi or Rover, you might pass this one up?
I give Foothill Village three stars because there is only one place to eat a meal in the whole shopping center. East West restaurant is below average in quality and taste...and that's the only restaurant there. C'mon folks. People would rush to a really good, reasonably priced cafe, diner, or restaurant there. Up and down Foothill Blvd, there is only the Corner Bakery down the road where one can get a bite...and it is only average fair. The non food shops in Foothill, including Dan's grocery, are fine. But please. Give me somewhere to eat a tasty breakfast, lunch or dinner there!!! Open one and they will come.
I hate the parking lot here! They've crammed so many businesses in this "village" that I feel like there isn't adequate parking spaces. However my major complaint is how everyone always believes they are the only person driving and they can do what they want! People backing out of parking spaces don't look. I sat at the stop sign at the bottom of the incline that I believe is right in front of Dan's and I sat there and let 3 cars go because they didn't believe THEIR stop sign was for REAL or applied to them! Seriously people BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS!! And for the love of... PUT YOUR PHONE AWAY!!
Got my nails done here for the first time. It was nice and relaxing the gentleman that did that my nails was so awesome. It felt great he was not rough and he did not rush. I will go do it there again. Are there someone side into when they drill your nails they drill them till they burn or cut the nail bed. Walk ins are the best service. I LOVE LOVE LOVE. THAT THEY MAKE YOU WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE THEY WILL DO YOUR NAILS. AND THEY HAVE THE PEXI GLASS DIVIDER BETWEEN THE CUSTOMERS AND THEM. AND MASK MUST BE WORN. THEY GO ABOVE AND BEYOND
Cute, quaint, very particular- boutique type stores to shop in. For the main part it's mostly all overpriced(including the grocery store-Dan's). However the people that work in these shops are friendly. (I'd assume that the pricing is due to the area it's located in). Can't wait to try Jersey Mike's Subs, and my FAV. IS SWEET TOOTH FAIRY!!! IT'S A MATT YOU HAVE GOT TO EAT THEIR AMAZING WORLD CLASS AWARD WINNING CUPCAKES (WINNER OF CUPCAKE WARS on one of those t.v. shows!)
Great quality of food and ask the typical types of products people would need on a typical shopping trip. They do have pretty high prices compared to any other stores. I recommend smith's over Dan's any day but Dan's does have its good quality reasons for shopping there especially if it's supportinga local retailers other than giant corporations such as Walmart and similar retail companies that are known for being so greedy and treat their employees as bad as they do
Your one-stop-shop for mostly everything you could need on Foothill drive. Dan's Grocery Store, Starbucks, Bath and Bodyworks, Sweet Tooth Fairy, Bloomingsales, and oodles of delicious eateries. Everything is good quality and a lot of unique places to choose from. Stop by to get your groceries, coffee, a gift or just a fun day of retail therapy. This is one of my favorite shopping centres tucked away here near Research Park. I highly would recommend!!!
I have shopped at Dans since I moved from San Francisco to Salt Lake for the simple reason I found rare spices... I started using the pharmacy 10 + years ago and absolutely love the pharmacists, Kim and Chad. They are fast, reliable, sincere and comforting. I would highly recommend Dans Pharmacy based on Kim and Chads ability to answer questions and review medications. I love the fact that they know me by name. Thanks Kim and Chad
Forget See N Ski, this is the place to go to for rentals! Always wonder why more ppl don't know about this place - it's a gem! The rates are great and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. Once you enter your info on the screen, the staff helps you get the right boots/skis/snowboards and makes sure that you are comfortable with the rentals. Returns are easy - just drop off at the counter.
Everyone here is so helpful!! The store is always clean. The store is well organized, and if you have any questions the staff are always more than happy to help, they are also very fast to help and checking out is always very smooth. The pharmacists are very helpful and friendly, they are also very knowledgeable, there is also a bank here that is also very helpful they are very nice as well
Nice shops but HORRIBLE access ! Split entrance/exit lanes with no obvious signage indicating "exit only" visible from NB Foothill Blvd. Only one small, dark sign to show the traffic flow (that you would only notice if you were already looking for it) and direction arrows on the down slope of the hill, not visible from a low-sitting vehicle. Car wrecks and lawsuits waiting to happen!
Ample parking, staff is friendly and access to treats, drinks, and sandwiches is more than adequate. It's a busy space but comfortable and I was surprised by how productive I was. If you're studying, bring headphones. The traffic died down around 1pm but likely would pick up again in the evening. I'm delighted to have found another spot to get work done.
Foothill Village is a clean, well-maintained, and safe shopping area with a good variety of businesses to shop at. It is definately not a place to go looking for bargains; most of the stores cater to high-end shopping with premium prices. Parking can be tight on the top level, but there is always plenty of room in the downstairs parking garage.
The density of great businesses here is amazing. Don't recommend Sports Den. The owner made me feel stupid and had a big tantrum when I asked a simple question about boots for my daughter. This was after I had spent thousands of dollars on ski gear. The incident was probably 10 years ago, but it still chafes me that someone would act like that.
Getting in and out of this shopping center can be a little tricky with the traffic on Foothill Drive, but the stores themselves are good. Parking can get scarce, and the parking lot can be a little hard to maneuver through since everything feels a little crampt, but I like this area and the variety of stores that are located here.
My daughter takes ballet at the School of Dance at Foothill Village. While she does that, I cash my check at America First, shop at Dan's for food, and go to the Black Sheep for a cold beer. Foothill Villiage has it all, with ample parking, and manageable traffic. I would recommend, but then you'll come and mess up a good thing.
We come here for the math enrichment program at Kumon. Above ground parking often can be sparse and very busy. Drivers barrel through stop signs, even when pedestrians are in the cross walks. People also drive too fast in the lots. Management needs to find ways to impart safety awareness to drivers.
This entire shopping plaza has a snotty elitist vibe to it. All the shops are owned and run by rude people. Plus it's all overpriced so don't bother. I try to shop local but it's not worth it if they are dickks. The only places that are friendly are the chains (starbucks, costa Vida, jersey Mikes)
I love the stores here, but the parking is a mess. That's what you get when you have such an awesome location. It's a great place to shop for your little life luxuries as well as the essentials. Great variety of stores, but again, parking is always a nightmare. Especially I'm Utah winters.
If you're visiting and need provisions, shop at Dan's. If you need a Starbucks fix, it's across the parking lot from Dan's on the upper level. Fair warning: said parking lot is cramped and everyone seems to be in a "get out of my way!!" hurry all the time. You've been warned. …
I like the variety of shops here. I'm not a big shopper, but there's a little of everything, so even I can make use of the place sometimes. The parking lot is awkward. Some of the tiers are under construction and inconvenient. People may be more likely to visit if it were simpler.
This place has great restaurants and shops. My only complaint would be that parking is a nightmare. It is always pack and I feel like I am either on the brink of hitting a pedestrian, or getting in a car crash. One day I saw some teenager come barreling out and hit a parked car.
Easy access right off the freeway coming down the canyon, but also a great and plentiful stop in the way up. Always clean, refreshing and lots of great choices from restaurants, shopping and housing. Not too far from the University of Utah either if you're into college sports!
This is actually a pretty good little shopping center. I like shopping at Dan's and I love that there is a Bath and Body works. We really enjoy Red Butte cafe as well. Parking can be a little slim at times but avoiding peak shopping hours helps with that problem.
It's overrated because of the location. Tight parking when it's busy, it sucks to get out and the heavy flow of traffic on Foothill Drive, also notice several vacant units all thanks to how expensive rent is in that location just because it's on top of the hill.
I've only visited a couple of the restaurants in Foothill Village but it's nice to have these stores on the east side of the valley. Parking is often a bit of an issue, because of congestion, but I've always been able to find a parking spot fairly easily.
There are some good stores here. I like Dan's Grocery Store. Parking on ground level is always very crowded. There is underground that not everyone knows about that usually has open spots. It even has an elevator up to Dan's from the underground parking.
This is a nice place to shop with good variety in stores and good options. There is a ton of underground parking, too, so you never have to park out in the weather. The underground parking can be a little hard to find, but it's there if you look for it!
Nice cute little shop in Foothills Plaza. A friend who always smells amazing told me this is where she buys one of the smells I like best on her. I bought the Nag champa oil and another called China Lily. The owners were friendly. The prices are fair.
This shopping center has a number of cute boutiques to shop at. It also conveniently has a grocery store as well. The tumbling place here is also super fun for kids. Close to the door parking can be difficult to find but there is a parking garage.
Went to Cheddar Burger. I like this shopping areait had interesting shops for all different types. Parking is usually full but you can always get a spot. Great place to spend an afternoon or get something to eat. Many different restaurant options.
Well i entered by the Starbucks needles to say they had a line down the street i could barely get by... Ridiculous.. i came in nervous but it went by so fast 16 minutes. I will most definitely refer others to euro wax because I'm very satisfied..
I love the shops and the people who work there. Parking sucks. Spots are narrow, lanes between and around parking are narrow. Only parking lot in 35 years I've had an accident. Leaving is just as difficult. It's a love hate sort of place
I really love my desserts! This one is from Sweet Tooth Fairy, a chocolate oreo fluff cookie! It was the last one of the shelf and I didn't even hesitate to request it and several other large treats. The cake bites and delightful.
Nothing left there to bother going to unless u want to overpay 4 milk & every single item a small grocery store sells. Foothill Village owners & mngmt. Have yet to fulfill any commitments made. With Steinmart gone, don't bother!
Great UPS & USPS quick in & out drop off. Newly remodeled, bright & cheerful with plenty of young helpful attendants. Latest in technology, capable of touch-less transactions. My favorite drop in the Yalecrest & University area.
Love it. Packed in tight. Busy, busy and buggeral busy, and did I mention packed in tight. Coffee, Groceries, and a Liquor store...and restaurants. This Starbucks in this plaza has some diverse and beautiful clientele. Cheers
This is a convenient shopping area. There's always parking when I go, but I do know it can get busy. My dentist is here, and there's also a UPS Store that I regularly drop packages off at (very quick, almost never a line).
Love the place. Very busy at times. Can be very expensive but you buy what you pay for!!! There are a lot of diversity in shops and something for everyone. I would recommend this place to everyone that wants to go shoping.
Alot of shops in a nice neighborhood with plenty of tree lined streets. Special place tucked away in a Upper Middle-CLASS neighborhood. AWAY from the horde of Salt Lake Cities homeless encampments & panhandlers. Peaceful.
Parking is hell at this complex there are some good establishments both eating and shopping as well as a grocery store but just be very careful in the parking lot because it is laid out like but European medieval city
A nice strip mall with stores like Chico's and restaurants like the East West Connection. Plenty of parking available and watch for their sidewalk sales as you can find many items for much less of their original cost.
Foothill village is located in a very convenient area for me. Love the stores I especially enjoy Body-Wise Fitness Center. They have very friendly staff and very good equipment. I also enjoy the underground parking.
There are a few good restaurants, a grocery store, and a few other great places for shopping and hanging out. Overall, this shopping center is clean and nice looking. There's usually no problem finding parking.
Great stores, terrible parking. That is horrible. It is how your visit begins and ends. So no matter where you go here. You arrive frustrated and leave hurriedly. Not a good combo for shopping, or is it?
Nice variety of shops with what they do have, but probably roughly 2/3 occupied with tenants at the moment. New property owners will probably change that up shortly over the next while.
Great Dan's location, I had the pleasure to know Dan Gardiner personally and all the Dan's I have been in are great! I miss him he was a great man and his stores live on in his Legacy
Was disappointed. Steinmart gone that was the staple of this little village. Thankfully Starbucks saved the day. Needed is another big name brand store to take Steinmart's place.
The guy Josh who watches the property is so helpful, and extremely aware. Foothill Village is in good hands with Josh Marks from J.D. Specialties. They're lucky to have him...
Great shopping center. Dans Grocery store, Black Sheep Bar, Great Clips, Liquor store. There's more, but I haven't visited them. You'll find what you're looking for though.
Easy to park! Great grocery store! Great restaurants! Banks, dentist, AAA office and more! Chico's is a great shop. Great service, too! Open every day, including Sunday!
We love our new Smith's! I'm pretty sure we go at once a day! They have good prices, & good selections since walmart doesn't add match anymore I go to Target & Smith's
Great shopping center. Love the choices of stores. But the hill to leave from is tough especially to wait to pull out of I cant imagine snowy or icy times its steep
I went to Dan's Market. They're doing all the right things:. Sanitizing carts, spacing, one way aisles. They're well stocked. Dan's is my go to grocery store.
I am very happy that I can buy me Xtra large red university of Utah tee shirts! And get some newer bus schedules! Booklets! City buses that are running!
Plenty of parking, some below the buildings, so don't give up too fast. Has a Dan's grocery store which I like and don't have in my new neighborhood.
I just popped into the Jersey Mikes so my mom could use her birthday coupon. It looked really neat though. Planning to go fully check it out soon.
Many shops for wide variety of items and multiple dining locations. Black Sheep Bar & Grill has good food and service. UPS store very convenient.
A good variety of retail stores, including Dan's grocery store, Stein Mart, Gold & Diamonds. There is plenty of parking on the lower level.
It is an open outlets not too far from the University of Utah Football stadium and there are a lot of shop around ,bars, food, groceries etc.
Would be a 5 star review if it wasn't for the parking situation. The lot is often a traffic jam and gets quite slippery in the winter.
People honking at me because I'm trying to get to a vehicle. People in a hurry to get no where. will not be back too snooty for me....
I was disappointed. This place is definitely not a village. In fact there are times at night when this "village" is completely empty.
I go to the pharmacy at Dan's. The store is clean and always busy. There are lots of different kinds of stores all look very nice.
I have only been in AAA Road side Assistance and everybody should own A membership for under a $100 a year you're covered …
Nice strip mall, parking can be an issue. No room for delivery trucks so I was blocked in for a short time waiting to leave.
I went there to withdraw some money from my credit union only to find out they were closed. Better luck next time …
Fantastic associates and performed superbly done their jobs!! I highly recommend .Cost is reasonable!! Thank you Jill!
New cookie shop Crave opened this week but grand opening today. Awesome cookie shop great staff. Good luck !!!
Pretty clicky little strip mall. Great eating options and the best hair salon in town. We love McCarty salon!
There are a few good shops but not really worth going to unless you live close or happen to be in the area.
Convenient shopping center. Don't miss the East West Exchange Vietnamese restaurant- it is amazing!
Nice little shopping center with varied goods but the parking lot is like mad max style nonsense.
This place was great with so many options for shops. Definitely a place to come back too.
Something can be found here for everyone! Charming stores and a gem for the east bench.
We love Dan's Market, Stein Mart, Domino's and Great Clips is the best hair cut ever.
Cute place to shop. Bath and body works was awesome. Employees were super friendly.
Love the shops and wish the rent was better so more stores could afford to stay.
Likes my BofA, Dan's Market, the liquor store, and more so the Black Sheep spot
Dan's was great, but the parking lot and overall vibes of the area were weird.
Parking can be a nightmare but good variety of stores in a convenient location
Lots of businesses here but crowded parking. Some covered parking available.
Went to costa Vida. When construction gets done it is going to be nice.
It got so bad and and worst with all the construction and not knowing
Easy flow through parking lot. Ample handicap parking.
Every since sensations left.. no reason to go
