"Great experience"
Visited this Museum on Wednesday with a 5yr old and 2yr old, Entry is cheap $10 adults, $5 kids 5yrs & over, lots of very interesting Planes, plane parts and airforce memorabilia. Staff we very friendly and helpful we had a free tour as soon as we entered, got to sit in a plane and the kids got some plane pictures to colour in. It is also located at the Parafield Airport which is a great place to take kids just to watch planes fly around.
It's more of an open workshop than a museum so you need to be interested in plane restoration to get value from this place. As long as you're interested in plane restoration, you'll love visiting this workspace to see how they're going. Gold coin domain to get in and the volunteer will give you as much detail about their current project as you like

The museum is being closed down in stages. Really only the F4U Corsair aircraft under restoration is left to see. In a few months that will be completed and then sold, and the place will close. Staff are very knowledgeable and informative and guided tours are given. Its a shame the museum has come to an end however the owner is retiring and disposing of the collection. Visit while you still can.
A fantastic museum to visit, giving a rare opportunity to enter the cockpits of an Avon Sabre and Mirage III. Lots of historic plane related memorabilia and static planes to see. The fee you pay goes towards the restoration of aircraft that will later go on display, such as the corsair f4u-1 at the moment. Definitely worth a visit if you're interested in seeing planes up close.
Great experience. Got to see a Corsair Fighter up close, and learned lots about the history of the plane and related information. Staff was friendly and enthusiastic about explaining and answering questions. Would recommend coming here to learn about some aviation history.

Had a great 3hours with everybody being very helpful, particularly Neil our personal guide who was most informative on all the planes and their history. Even my lovely wife was most impressed, and loved the attention she had from Neil helping her in and out of the various plane cockpits.A must see museum. Our thanks to everyone concerned.
More like a workshop than a museum but it was still cool to see the corsair almost rebuilt now from the wreckage in 1944. There are a couple of Italian jets there as well but those are active so they don't allow you to get too close to them.
The volunteer was very kind and entertaining with all the information he shared. Our kids loved the place, not huge but everything is interesting specially the ongoing project.

Personally I found it very interesting and engaging. Very informative talking with my guide as we worked our way through the hangar and display.Need to go back in December to check on the Corsair progress.
I enjoyed my self. Although, the museum is rather small, it's still quite interesting. The staff volunteers are really knowledgeable and are more than happy to give you a guided tour.
Sadly museum gone just 1 plane in a shed. Lovely volunteer told us about the plane but not a Museum. Would not waste your time.

Only has two WW2 aircraft now, the Corsair and a new P39 project, but still worth a look. Bob and his volunteers are very passionate and knowledgeable and generous with their time.
Not what it used to be but managing knowledge of whose there and they are so enthusiastic to share their knowledge. It's still great and worth a visit for a good coin donation.
Great bunch of guys and old aircraft runn8ng and decommissioned though I never went up in any lol restoration projects normally for the non flyable, now unfortunately closed.
Really interesting visit. Lots of information from our guide. Great cars there as well

Just a restoration hangar with Corsair build 124-1 being restored to static display. Almost done now, with an Aerocobra in the very early stages. No jets.
An amazing place where displayed number of classic jets fighters especially in the mechanism models of the jets engine which is the reason I liked there.
Great displays & very knowledgeable staff; truly shows the hard work put in to restore the aircraft- great work all round
On the small side, but top staff and spokesman. Very good overall, well worth the visit. Donation only. AAA rating.
Fun, but little to do. they have sold off a large part of their collection. like the mirage III and the F-86 sabre.
Excellent selection of historical elements. Sad it is closing. Will follow the Corsair rebuild after main closure.
Small but very friendly and knowledgeable staff. And my kid loved being able to sit in the seat of a fighter.
Make sure you talk to the guys here and don't just wander around. Awesome place for plane freaks.
A shadow of what it once was, really just a men's shed now. Don't bother taking your kids.
Very good, spent time explaining different things especially to kids
This place is a good stuff of history needs more publicity though.
Absolute gem for those interested in aviation and history! 11/10

Made to leave my handbag at the desk!!! Ridiculous
