Excellent coffee and delicious black forest vegan slice!! All of their slices are behind a glass counter which is great (not exposed). All staff that I saw were wearing masks properly and not touching them and there was hand sanitiser along with a check-in book close to the order counter. This is all very important to me at the moment as recovering from major Op and need to be careful (feeling vulnerable). If cafe staff follow current requirements, it provides reassurance that their other food handling practices are sound (in my view). I walked past three cafes where masks were either not worn by staff, hung down around chin or were being hitched up from the front, before seeing straight away that Coffee Home staff were happily complying with requirements without fuss or drama. Very friendly service topped it off

I have been dining at The Home Cafe for now over 10 years. The staff here have never failed to provide the best eating experience. Thoroughly recommend these lovely people.

The simplicity and relaxed vibe of this lovely cafe is so appealing. The sweet owner Ramsey greets all her customers with the most beautiful smile and friendly service. She remembers your name and how you like your coffee and it’s always expressly prepared by their great baristas! Highly recommend their mixed berry muffins, so generous in size and full of berries but today I enjoyed a bagel with cream cheese, fresh tomato and avocado. Their menu features something for all tastebuds including Asian inspired dishes and traditional favourites and is extremely reasonable in price. Love this place for a relaxing start to my day.

Strange set up - we moved outside as it was too hot to sit inside (40 degree day and either the air con wasn't working or they had evaporative cooling which wasn't great!) and upon asking for the bill they said they couldn't bring it to us outside and we would have to come in and pay. The girl then didn't know what to charge for and was confused because we had moved . Each time we asked a question, the staff had to ask someone else and didnt know the answer. Food ok, not anything to rave about. Staff, apart from being uninformed about almost everything, were friendly

So badly wanted to like them. Tried to make an order through Uber eats for a BLAT, it sounded incredible after such a horrible week. I had requested for my order to be made fresh with extra avocado if they could. My message was super polite, told them to keep up the great work and added a smiley face. They responded with something along the lines of you get what you are given. Left a bad taste in my mouth and sad to say I’ll never try them again.

On entry to this cafe, we weren’t greeted - we were told by a stressed staff member that the kitchen was closed as it was too busy. She said that we would be the last order - our order was taken - an hour later our coffee came out, followed by our food. The eggs were stone cold - toast soggy, packet hollandaise - luke warm bacon. I don’t usually post reviews but I felt that it was needed - I was telling people on entry to walk away. We left with a sick feeling in our stomach, and most of our food on the table.

Apart from the 45 minute wait (told 30mins) when the breaky arrived in was cold and sitting outside probably added to the coolness! The bacon was dry, however the sausage, hash brown, tomatoe, poached eggs, mushies and smoked salmon were nicely flavoured. The Sourdough Bread was also nice however a little extra butter would have been nice. The Tomato Relish was Awesome and added to the dry bacon made the bacon a bit more edible! The freshly squeezed juice was excellent as too was the coffee!

Took 14 for late lunch today. Everything was amazing

Really disappointing, have been a couple of times hoping it would be better but staff are not friendly and meals take so long to arrive even if they aren't busy. My daughter and her friend went the other day with two toddlers and the owner was nasty to the boys and kept giving them greasy looks, really?? Will never go back again and neither will any of my family. Could be a great place to eat because of it's position but different owner and different staff would make it so much better.

Very disappointed! the service was just Disgraceful and food was absolutely terrible the lady that served us (Hillary) as I herd another customer or friend call her didn't ask how we were going if we wanted another drink as we only had coffee before our meal that we waited 40 mins for they were lucky we paid for our meal but my partner didn't want to cause a scene, I can definitely say we won't be going back for the fish tasting hash browns rubber bacon and very plain service.

Have been coming regularly for many years, but as Seaford grows and new places crop up, I would just hate for this place to be looked over. I honestly haven’t even bothered to go to the the newer, and somewhat fancier places as this cafe just continues to serve the best brunch you can get. Every meal I’ve had here has been thoroughly enjoyed. Service is friendly and prompt, value for money is outstanding. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxed Sunday brunch.

Love Seaford for the Coffee Home Cafe. John, Rasmey and staff are wonderful and super friendly. Great to come and chill for brekkie or lunch after beach with our dogs. Dog friendly. Always super friendly and attentive. Highly Recommend.

Charming cafe, sensational coffee and food with extensive menu. All fresh and delicious as well as reasonably priced for very decent sized portions. Clean and friendly atmosphere and excellent service. Very nice operators and staff with comfortable seating and easy access to parking. Healthy delicious smoothies and vegan options in available. Stunning desserts in cake fridge. Have always felt welcome. 5 stars indeed!

This is a great cafe and is open a little later than beach next to it which I've found really helpful. The drinks are mostly great I love the iced chai late and mango smoothie. The mango milkshake was a bit sickly sweet even for the kids. The service is good and staff are friendly. The slices in the cabinet are really nice. Menu has lots of variety. Looking forward to trying more options.

I had a really bad experience going to this cafe. The staff is extremely unfriendly and unprofessional! The coffee I received was not what I’ve ordered but the staff refused to give me a refund/ make me a new coffee so I ended up spending $8.50 for a coffee I didn’t enjoy at all and I felt very uncomfortable as the staff was very rude to me! I wouldn’t recommend going there !

Great staff and tasty food! But why, oh why do you have to be so TIGHT when it comes to bread?? Ordered an “old style mixed grill” (big breakfast) and it comes with two tiny fingers of cold, hard “toast”?? Barely enough to put my eggs on. Small thing, sure… but it’s the small things that make a difference - especially when it’s a normal expectation anywhere…

Hi, yes it looks good with the deck etc. I cant comment on the food as I ordered the brekky and only got a coffee - cardinal sin, they forgot the food... The staff are more interested in chatting among themselves than looking after the paying customer. On the plus side they gave me the coffee free - unfortunately I could not wait any longer for the food.

Ordered a fresh orange juice, it came with the glass full of ice, I kindly asked them to remove the ice as my wife does not like ice, they reacted so rude we felt really uncomfortable. My friend I was with ordered a long black coffee with a drop of milk, they made him a piccolo. Very unprofessional and rude staff. Not going again... Not recommended....

Have not eaten there as yet only called in for coffee, good coffee food looks fantastic very popular the food being delivered to tables looked very fresh and plates overflowing, imagine getting a whole avacado yum . Only down side is so busy accassionaly will have to wait 45 minutes for table especially on sundays, otherwise give it a go !!

FANTASTIC staff who always welcome customers with genuine warmth. The coffee is the best in Melbourne and the food is consistently exceptional. The menu is extensive and caters to all tastes/needs. Lovely family run business that is highly recommended. Indoor and outdoor seating, family and dog friendly, right across the road from beach.

With the news of freedom in Melbourne, we head down to Seaford pier then chance upon this nice cafe. We ordered our breakfast and coffee. Food was great and coffee smell nice. We are lucky to get a table, don't mind the lovely sunshine as sitting outdoor. Friendly staff greeting us and to everyone. Good to have their business back!

Cafe wasn't busy but our brunch took over 30 mins from ordering. The eggs were cooked to death and both meals were under whelming. Sorry I can't recommend this cafe. I did enjoy the fresh juice.

Ordered an Egg Florentine. Informed both the kitchen and wait staff that the eggs whites were RAW inside. I received no apology from the first person and a very half hearted one after letting the second person know. There was no offer to fix the issue and they still happily charged me. Save your money.

Friendly and efficient service, nice coffee. But, my steak burger seemed a bit on the less cooked side, and was flowing with grease. Not so tasty, but the chips were nice.

This restaurant is under new management a the last three times I have been here I was very happy, the the menu has great choices they even do a Scottish breakfast which my husband loves the coffee and food was so good the service was fast, friendly and accommodating and they love children.

I was so glad l picked this cafe to catch up with a friend. I got there early and the staff were lovely with serving me while l waited for my friend, have to remember that eftpos needs to be over $10. But l totally don't mind that at all ... makes me buy a cake slice yummy too. …

I visit the Blue Iguana every few months mostly because of its beautiful deck and great location. The food is always good, the service is friendly but sometimes slow. I find it hard to believe some of the overly negative reviews. I always enjoy my visit and would recommend this place.

This place is a bit of a hidden gem! Our kiddo LOVES the pancakes and the babyccino, and the muesli and American breakfast are excellent - hash browns are on point! The staff are super friendly and attentive. This will definitely continue to be one of our regular breakfast spots ☺️☕

I found the staff cold and quite unwelcoming , especially the lady on the register. It took 45 mins to be served a simple serving of bacon and eggs for 2 people. The cafe had approx 10 other people dining so being busy wasn't really an issue. A big disappointment.

Good value, no frills, tasty food and great service. We had the corn fritters and pancakes which were very tasty. Awesome coffee also. Not as fancy as some of the others in the area but would be more yhan happy to visit again. Waitresses are very friendly also.

Good value for money. Meals were a great size and the hot drinks came in decent sized mugs and cups. Staff were very efficient although our plates were left on the table for quite a while after we had finished. All up, a really lovely place to stop.

Very nice cafe in Seaford. Great customer service and drink and food are yummy and definitely have value for money. This shop charges 1.5% surcharge for card payment.
