Great place to order a coffee and snack and actually hang out. It’s a European cafe, meaning it’s intended for you to sip your coffee, read your book, or chat with friends for hours (rather than grab and go like American places that want you to vacate after ordering). Comfy chairs, super friendly staff, patio seating - People do smoke on the patio (again, European culture) so plan on sitting inside if smoke bothers you. I’m sometimes uncomfortable at OTHER European cafes because it’s all men sitting around smoking, staring at me, a woman, intruding on their “men’s space”. Not here! The owner told me his mission was to design Coffee House Cafe for everyone, including men, women, and children, to feel welcome and comfortable. Hit the nail on the head! I loved it here.

Recently visited the newly opened Coffee House cafe, and I must say, the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. The friendly environment makes it a perfect spot to relax. Great place and looking forward to returning. The atmosphere has to be one of the nicest in Jacksonville. It’s very cozy and feels like a real European cafe which to me is a huge plus. Absolutely amazing coffee cafe. Love the vibe and the furniture. And the coffee! Proper macchiatos and cappuccinos with fantastic espresso flavor. We got the tiramisu and chocolate crepes and they did not disappoint.

First time coming here and everything was fantastic. The tres leches and the croissants were delicious and the coffee was amazing. The service was a 11/10 as you can tell the owners are running the cafe and are very proud of what they’ve built. Will be coming back for sure.

4.5 stars! Their coffee based beverages and desserts are great! The Albanian staff is very friendly. I took one star away from atmosphere because they allow smoking just outside the entrance where they have seating.

The owner and the barista were welcoming and sweet. I ordered tres leeches, coffee and tiramisu. It's a cozy spot to relax. Wish my coffee was hot when they served it. Will be visiting again :)
