Well presented reflection site that details the experiences of the stolen generation in Blackwood. Presented in a sensitive, balanced and compassionate way. There are numerous listening posts voiced by former residents provide a lot of detail into daily life. The art works are poignant. Look for the little frog scultpures on the rocks!

Educative and interesting experience. So much sadness expressed in the large painting and sculptures. We have been driving past many times and did not know it was there, no brown signpost. I saw the aboriginal woman sculpture and we turned around to visit and learn about the stolen generation. Well worth our time.

Meeting with families from the stolen Generation. Where the children were Placed in orphans home. I don't know Why because they had their parents I see it as an act of abduction. Today They are poor lost souls. "Terrible" I Can't help feeling sorry for them because they are still hurting.

Straight forward retelling of the story of people taken from their families on the Blackwood site of Colebrook Home for Aboriginal children, 1948-1972.Many beautiful things, statues, fountains, plaques, paintings, a children's book, a place for a fire surrounded by tiled murals.

Love the site! This is an important spot for reflection on our past. It's sad but places like these are important to remember what happen and so we never do it again. Well presented spot.
