"I got mustang on saturday and i noticed his eye weeping and he was sneezing alot over 50 time and his little belly was bloated he is also 13 weeks and the size of a 6 week old so they were all a concern for me i rang the vets soon as they opened on sunday and they were very helpful and booked him in that same day"
Lucy was absolutely amazing. Due to Covid I had to wait in waiting area, however Lucy explained to me beforehand what she was going to do and what the procedure for the vaccinations entailed. She so explained how was training to become an exotic specialist and how she would like to use my rabbits as part of her thesis. I agreed and she provided me with the necessary consent forms. After the appointment Lucy came out and explained the health of my rabbits and that they were very well behaved, even with one of rabbits normally being very grumpy! She explained that there shouldn't be any side effects of the vaccination except some bumps at the site of the injection. Lucy was incredibly friendly and an amazing vet. I then had to book another appointment for a couple of weeks time, and even though the reception was busy, the lady asked everyone what they needed, and made sure we all understood what was happening. I didnt catch her name but she was also lovely. I have never had anything less than exceptional care at Companion Care and I will keep coming back for years to come.
I can highly recommend this vets practice as i was always able to get a same day appointment for my cat Gala and I felt he was always very well looked after. Today I had Gala our 19 year old cat euthanised as he had a severe heart condition and difficulties breathing. Stevan and his assistant both came to our house to carry out the procedure as we didnt want to stress out Gala and wanted him to be in familiar surroundings. We chose the back garden, or at least Gala did, lying on the lawn , looking at the plants and feeling the warmth of the sun on his back. I couldnt have asked for 2 more caring professionals . Stevan commented on Gala struggling for his breath which reassured us we were doing the right thing. Gala remained calm and relaxed throughout the entire process and we felt very well looked after . Stevan making sure we were okay before leaving with our much beloved cat. I am happy to highly recommend Stevan and everyone at Companion Care Vets. Thank you .
The woman with red hair on reception was LOVELY! Last time I didn’t have a great experience but this time... wow! She was so so lovely and accommodating. After having a csection and having to arrange a lift to pets at home that day, she explained that I would have to order and come back the next day for treatment. I apologised for not knowing and explained I would need to get a lift the following day (not expecting her to change the rules) She said “you know what... we aren’t busy let me go and sort that for you. It will save you getting someone to bring you back down.” She asked me about the baby etc She was personable and so so understanding She went above and beyond out of her way to help me That is customer service at its finest!!! Well done for getting someone like her on board! It makes such a difference to your day when you come across gems like that!!! Thank you! Please make sure this feedback gets back to her!! Xx Jo (Tia the cocker spaniels mummy!)
I was appalled at the way I was treated today. My 17 year old cat had an appointment to be put to sleep. Which is upsetting enough on it's own. We were kept waiting 20 minutes and after enquiring about the delay, we were told there was an outstanding debt from 2013. This was obviously an administration error as we've brought other pets here on numerous occasions, spending hundreds of pounds. This could have been brought to our attention earlier, like when my dog had his booster injection 2 months ago. The head vet refused to show us any invoice and refused to treat a dying cat, leaving him to suffer. I thought they were in the profession to help animals. All he is interested in is making money. The man is a disgrace. He could have taken us aside to speak, but no, he must enjoy an audience as it was a busy time and my cat was getting more distressed in his carrier.
I got mustang on saturday and i noticed his eye weeping and he was sneezing alot over 50 time and his little belly was bloated he is also 13 weeks and the size of a 6 week old so they were all a concern for me i rang the vets soon as they opened on sunday and they were very helpful and booked him in that same day. When i got there even tho i was early they still saw me the vet came and had a chat with me and checked mustang over while with me before taking him into the room to do further checks she explained everything she believed was wrong with mustang. Cat flu. Worms conjunctivitis etc and i am so pleased they saw us the same day as they new i was very concerned about my new furr baby. Thanks so much companion care orpington!! Sian jarrett.
I recently bought a French Bulldog puppie and of course I wanted a vet to look it up. I called a friend that have had a dog for quite a long time and he recommended I go Companion Care and so I did. To be honest I didn't know what to expect because it was my first time ever at a Vet. I was warmly greeted by a friendly employee and after a shot conversation on what I needed I was welcomed inside the examination room. The doctor was a real professional, carried out the wellness test and took the time to explain about their Complete Care health plan. It turned out to be a real bargain so I signed up for that and my dog got a brand new microchip for only 10 quid. I was really happy with how the whole thing turned out.
Great, friendly, helpful local vets. This week, one of our cats was savaged by an unleashed dog outside my house. My daughter rang the vets in tears as he was seriously injured. The vets instantly agreed to see him, despite a queue, and had a team ready to see him as soon as my daughter appeared carrying said mangled feline. He was seriously injured, but vets stabilised him and made a referral to another vets to have him undergo an MRI. They even allowed time to pay (I am insured but this is paid in arrears and at end of summer hols needed payday!) Unfortunately I can only give this vets 5 stars but I would give the team 10+ stars if I could.
I had to get my hamster put to sleep at the weekend (Titan), which was a very upsetting experience for me. He wasn't just a hamster he was a part of the family who we loved very much. The vets were very respectful of my feelings as I was quite emotional at the time, and they reassured me that Titan would not feel any pain during being put to sleep. Today I recieved a lovely sympathy card with Titans paw prints on it, and a little bottle with some of his fur in it (he was a long haired hamster). I thought this really lovely, and I will treasure it forever. Thank you so much xxx
We switched to Companion Care Vets from a large vet company in Sidcup. CCV were truly great from day one, making us feel that they actually cared for our cat Bobby and were not just after our money (like the last vet). To be honest, they went above and beyond the call of duty with helpful (and sometimes free advice) with our sick cat. Unfortunately, Bobby didn't recover from his illness which was incredibly sad but we can't praise CCV enough for their great service. We even got a card from them. If/when we get a new pet we won't hesitate to come back. A+++++++
Amazing staff. Big thank you to Aleks for looking after my little boy, he's back to his cheeky self and leaving his wound well alone. Thank you again to everyone, for seeing me quicky, for reassuring us and giving us all the right advice and tools to care for our kitty. We had an appointment and my pet was treated under sedation the next day, he came home and did not seem at all distressed by the experience and was back to his normal self within a few hours. Wonderful people who genuinely care about all animals.
Took my pet in for routine injections, the vet noticed and voiced that my pet displayed pale gums and continued to administer the injection causing my poor pet to pass away a week later. The vets are the professionals and know that it’s a sign of a dying animal I was unaware of this and should not have to read this up online.. a little too late as that is what I am paying the professionals for. The negligence and server lack of understanding would put me off ever using this practice again.
Plenty of Parking, a huge Pets At Home and much later hours (Inc open on Sundays) than a conventional vet. Even the receptionists are knowledgable on how soon your pet should been seen when you phone up. The vets are kind, incredibly well knowledged and always explain things very carefully and kindly. The nurses are amazing too and my Rabbit loves everyone there, they really really take the time to fuss your pet and that level of care and compassion is priceless in my opinion!
I changed from my vets to companion care as my dog has a health problem which my old vet practice didn't seem to bother about and just seemed to want to keep billing me for things and I ,as well as my pet ,felt like we didn't matter , I want answers about the health of my dog and felt I wasn't getting anywhere ,so I changed vets , and I couldn't be happier ,I have told my other friends who are also thinking about switching because of the same thing .
We have use CCV for nearly 2years now since getting our 2cats as kittens, unfortunately one of our cats Clover was hit by a car near our house and despite getting him to CCV as soon as we could he didn't survive. Staff at CVC did their best to save him and stayed with him throughout his stay there until we bought him home 2bury. Thankyou to all the staff there for their efforts and sympathy.
Our dog has just had cancer removed Stefan the vet is soo understanding and before the op he took time out even after finishing his job for the dayto talk to us to put our minds at ease and took the stress out of it... all staff are friendly as well *Our dog is still recovering but so far so good* We also have a cat who we bring here pleased with the service we get for him too
Both of my “senior” cats had their annual boosters & vaccinations today with Lia and they were not stressed at all during the appointment. They were still chilled out by the time we got home where usually they run from their carriers! Lia is great at handling the animals, gives honest information and I would highly recommend her and Companion Care vets.
It’s a very difficult time with the virus. The practice told me over the phone what to expect when I arrived. There was clear signage regarding distancing and marked out areas. They came out and spoke to me about my dogs health. They then took her in to the examination room. The dog was very happy when she was returned to me. Very polite staff
Only ever had a good experience with these vets. They’re all kind and so friendly and always make a fuss out of my dog when we go in there. Anytime my dogs been ill, they’ve made every effort to get me scheduled in and have helped her immensely. All the vets, nurses and the admin staff are all so wonderful, couldn’t recommend enough!
I've recently lost a pet who the vet lucy and nurses tried to save, it's clear they care a lot about every animal that comes through their doors and will do everything in their power to save any animal no matter how bleak the prognosis may be. I'm very grateful for the care that went into my Charlie in his final days. Thank you.
Would highly recommend CCV in Pets at Home, Orpington. Great vets, really knowledgable and brilliant with our two cats. Reception always very friendly and helpful. We've been on the Pets Plan since the cats were in kittenhood and it's well worth it. We're moving soon and I'll be sad to leave the staff at Companion Care Vets.
We registereded our cats with this clinic when we had them and they are now 8 years old. We've had different vets taken care of them but I have to single out Dr Sara Levy. She is very loving, always takes her time to explain everything in detail. We trust her 100% and could not recommend her services enough!
Recently had to have all my young cats' (brothers aged 2 years) teeth removed. To say I was nervous is an understatement, but the team were amazing and the boys are doing great. Massive thank you to Eme and team for all your advice, guidance and care and to Keelea for helping with the insurance claim.
This clinic has now new vet Lucy R, who is young vet, but very passion about pet in her care. We are very happy for this clinic to have Lucy and we will come to Lucy with all our pets (four ferrets) if they will need any help as we fill confident that we will get 100% of proper care
The receptionist was friendly and nice and explained payment plan and answered questions, waiting area was clean and tidy, the vet was lovely and made a real fuss of my pug puppy, she explained vaccination procedure and answered questions I had,all in all service was fantastic
Very good, efficient and caring but not the cheapest is my only negative. They do have some good money saving packages that are super so i did that. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. My cats never even noticed that they'd been given their jabs. I do recommend them.
Really lovely helpful staff. Seem to genuinely care about your pet and not just out to make a buck from you! I moved to this veterinary surgery from a more well known local surgery and so happy to have made this move. Much better service all round. Would highly recommend.
Receptionists were super helpful and showed pure love and care towards Hudson. I am a first time kitten mum and they were very patient with me and my questions. The vet was very friendly and explained this very clearly Overall very impressed with all service received!
I had changed vets , and have found the service brilliant. The vet explained everything that was going to happen and after the appointment gave me lots of information about my dogs health and went into detail about his tablets and how they would work . Many thanks
Lucy the vet was friendly and explained what was going to happen with my cat. She also took time to ask if there was anything else I wanted to ask and gave me time to enquire about his insurance. Everything was efficient and caring as always. Thank you
Staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Sara and Alexandra knew exactly what Paisley needed and treated her perfectly. I recommended companion care to all my fellow pet owners and will always choose companion care over vets nearer to me.
Tried to get an appointment for my dog which kept being sick, and has a bloated stomach, but couldn't get an appointment. Looking to changing vet, as if this had been twisted gut my dog would have died, and they were most definitely not caring.
The receptionists are not very friendly or passionate about their jobs. In particular, the male receptionist we interacted with for the first time in late April was very rude and completely lacked compassion, and he did not take our concern
This practice is great, the staff are lovely and explain things really well. They also don't schedule unnecessary follow up appointments unlike some vets in my area, and provide better value for money than a lot of the vets in SE London!
The vet diagnosed my dog with a spinal problem, took him to another vet and they diagnosed and treated him for pancreatitis, it was a good job I wasn’t happy with the explanation and reacted quickly as he would of died otherwise
We cannot recommend these vets highly enough. They are always professional and caring with our animals (4 cats and a dog) and will weigh up all options with you before you decide if your pet needs the procedure or not.
We felt well looked after when visiting and the veterinary nurse was fantastic! Lucy looked after my dog Steve and when she took him away to examine him, she was confident, calm and kind. Would definitely recommend
A lovely veterinary service. The staff and vets are all very caring saved our little dog. Very compassionate if you have to say goodbye to a loyal pet. The only down side is they are pricey compared to other vets.
Very friendly staff and the vet was able to provide answers to all my questions and she really cared about my cat. She also gave me very usefull advices and also was able to arrange our next appointment.
Wasn't seen at our appt time due to an emergency appt being put in front of us but was given clear explaination during consultation and clear options and steps, a good service other than the wait
The vet we saw was fantastic! He took the time to examine our cat and go through all our questions and discussed treatment options and implications. My cat was treated quickly Fantastic service
Emy is fantastic and was able to explain to myself and my partner about the condition and was happy to answer any questions. We also received great care from Nicola, Lauren and Keelea
The lovely receptionist remembers who we are and what our dog’s name is as well as why we are there without us having to explain. Feels personal and feel well cared for. Thank you xx
Great service even in the current circumstances. They took my rabbit into the room to give him a check over and yearly jabs. Gave me feedback on how he was. Brilliant team all round.
Fantastic staff ,great service ,can not fault as yet ,got to the root of my dogs issue ,where as another well known local vet could not ,from reception staff to veterinary staff
Very friendly staff, they all care very much about every animal. They were all fantastic with my dog polly, who had her ligaments in both knee's repaired. Thank-you very much
Vet Lucy was very professional - receptionist was lovely. Had two visits with total of four cats for vaccinations very happy with care and attention shown to all. Thank you
My poor little dog was suffering from teething and was been seeing quickly and sorted out, back home and was all changed for better and improving Lovely care treatment!
My grateful thanks to all at Companion Care. The care the team gave to Sid my 21 year old cat was exceptional. The visit on Thursday was a sad one as Sid went to sleep.
Friendly staff, very busy all the time. Hard to call. My dog was spayed here 12 months ago, went perfectly, was kept updated during the time my pup was in their care.
The receptionist and vet were very friendly. The receptionist was very helpful and recognised us from a previous visit and the vet gave us lots of advice for our dog.
Both receptionist and vet were friendly, helpful, informative, understanding, compassionate, practical. Clear concern and care shown to both my dog and I.
Luckily saw my mate's husband and their son, Prince Jacquès as i going to hobbycraft xxxx and i loved the advert on the front windows on the rabbits xxxx
The vet was very knowledgeable and told me prior to giving Mo his medicine what she was going to do and how much it was going to cost. Really lovely vet
The vet we see always treats our animals like her own, always fully explains things and she is always very good with my children if they visit with us!
The receptionist and the vet was very friendly and professional, they showed that they have a real passion for helping people and their animals
All members of staff are just amazing and have gone out of their way to help. I would not want anyone else to look after or treat my dog Ross.
Always feel so comfortable and confident with the nurses and vets at this practice, the girls on the reception are wonderful too.
The waiting time was short which meant my dogs anxiety was managed much better than they were at previous appointments.
Lucy the vet was very friendly and professional. She knew my pet and was very thorough in examination and explanation.
Such a sad time for me but they were lovely and friendly and helped put you at ease The vet Lucy was great …
Good vets, helped us a lot though when they had to stay overnight they have no overnight staff to look after them
The staff are always nice. Good stock of things. The vets there are brilliant and have helped our cat and dog.
