I just want to say a huge thanks to Dr Karen and all the staff at CVH. I moved to the area 1 year ago and I was very nervous about moving my pets from their regular vet given that both my dogs have health complications ( one is an epileptic and the other has cancer) but Karen had such a wonderful gentle way with both my dogs and myself that I immediately knew I had found a vet who would care for them like they were her own. I have never felt rushed out of a consultation and every question I asked was answered with compassion and in a manner that was easy for me to understand. On top of this Karen took it upon herself to check in with my dog's oncologist in her own time so she could create a management plan in preparation for when his pain became too much CVH you should be very proud to have a staff member as dedicated as Dr Karen she is an amazing vet and an even better human being.

I cannot speak more highly of the team and in particular Dr David. As an ex ragdoll breeder and lifelong pet owner I have come across my fair share of vets! I have had some horrible experiences but after much research I decided to give these guys a go quite a few years ago. I was blown away by Davids cat knowledge, but mostly by the fact he is not afraid to admit when something is over his head and doesn't hesitate to consult with specialists and find a solution to whatever mystery I throw at him. The care of my babies now feels like a partnership rather than a dictatorship. You can tell great care is taken in choosing their employees as I have never struck a bad one and they are all so passionate. So refreshing to find somewhere who isn't just out to take your money! We drive all the way from the hills district and I can't imagine taking my babies anywhere else.

The vets at Concord vet are fantastic, caring and competent. Special mention to Dr Karen who looked after Poncho through her journey. I appreciated the informed shared decision making process and Dr Karen spending the extra time to explore, explain and and/or reassure. When Poncho was very unwell, she would often call to check her progress. I felt like the decisions made were for the best for Poncho. I am very grateful for how she helped Poncho cross the rainbow bridge with compassion, empathy and understanding. I felt like we were both saying our tearful goodbyes. Being a veterinarian is a calling for the vets at Concord Vet and I know that despite having tough days themselves they are always there to help us give the best care they can to our loved ones.

After a few years away, we’re back and Concord Vet is now our preferred vet. They alway have time to see us even if it’s just for a small thing. Every time my dog is sick or going through something I know they will always be there to help or find the time to see us, unlike some places where I have to wait at least a week or 2 before we can get a time slot to see someone. Just a few month ago Concord Vet Hospital saved my dog and nursed him back to good health. If it wasn’t for Dr Aleshia and the team, I’m not sure if my dog would still be around. So for that I will always be grateful to you and the amazing team. Definitely the BEST and most importantly RELIABLE Vet in the area and I know I can always count on them. Thank you so much!

a review long overdue. Dr Karen is amazing and I cannot thank her enough for looking after all our pets in the past few years. Shes highly knowledgeable, ethical and empathetic. Our new puppy had issues with inguinal hernia, which was not made known to us at the time of purchase. I called two vet clinics for an opinion, one vet was recommended by the pet shop and another local one. One said to return the dog back to the pet shop and another said dont worry it might go away on its own. Dr Karen gave her honest opinion that surgery was required now and I trusted her . 1 year after surgery, our puppy is healthy and happy. No issues at all… Miso now runs faster than a leopard. Thank you to Dr Karen & staff at Concord.

My dog was with another vet, but we ran out of his medications and they were fully booked for the next three weeks. Luckily, Concord Vet was able to see him right away and Patch got his medications. I did not realised how good this walk in system can be until I needed it. The same thing with helping Patch cross the rainbow bridge. We were able to come in when Patch was ready. The staff were so great. I emailed about the process, the cost etc and all of my emails were answered promptly in a friendly reassuring tone. They really do understand it was a hard decision. On the day, they were so accommodating and professional. I highly recommend CONCORD VET. Don't be put off with the no appointment system,.

If you want to be a new customer, you will have to pay extra $75 for registration fee. Well, this is the 2nd time give 1 start review. Details as below: After checking Google Reviews, I was expecting this is a good place, so I decide to try it for my 16 months Lab annual vaccination here. I called them for the price details today (09/10/2021), price for vaccination sound s reasonable to me in this area, however, reception says they need to charge me extra $75.00 for registration fee because I am a new client, they do not take new clients because of COVID, if you want to be a client, this fee is a must, which does not sound reasonable to me at all.

I have had animals my entire life and this Vet is by far the best. I have a wolfhound (she loves Karen) and 2 rescue cats which I take to see Karen and her service is absolutely outstanding. Karen checks everything, explains in a detailed manner that is easy to understand. What I most love about Karen is a love for animals and the compassion she shows when she needs to deliver news that are difficult to hear. Our cat was recently diagnosed with FIV and Karen has helped me to understand the disease and long term care to increase his quality of life. Hands down best service. Amazing care and compassion from the whole team! All the vets and vet nurses in this practice are amazing and so caring for you and your furry & feathered friends (or scales, or furless etc). :) Well-priced too, but I not the focus of why we go to CVH. It's the easy of access (no appointments, walk-in which means when your pet is sick you can get in). We had an older rescue dog who we sadly lost late last year. We were there almost weekly due to her health right through the lockdown and the team were doing it tough - but always with a smile and compassion. I wouldn't trust our pets with any other vet.

All the staff - from the nurses out front to the vets and the support staff in the back - are compassionate and caring. They love your animals as much as you do. The veterinarians are highly-skilled. My dog particularly loves 'visiting' Karen and David, who are excellent with my old boy. They never rush through the exam, ask lots of questions to diagnose every issue accurately ... and on more than one occassion one of them has called me at home to check in on my dog or to discuss some additional research they have done. They really do care. I highly recommend taking your pet to see them.

Dr Georgia is the best vet ever, always very thorough, empathetic, listens and acts on my concerns and has a great sense of humour. The vet nurses are also knowledgeable and friendly. A practice that cares about their patients. I also like how they offer Trap Neuter Release (TNR) and are one of the only vets in Australia offering FIP treatment. The only thing is with appointments, especially as someone with a cat, perhaps there could be certain days where there are some appointments allocated - for those who can't get out of work or have felines. Other than that everything is great!

I picked up my new puppy recently and came in to have his second vaccination and checkup a few weeks ago. The nurses and vet (Karen) were absolutely amazing during both visits. Being a first time pet owner I was a bit anxious of the process but was quickly put at ease but everyone at the clinic. Karen was extremely helpful and reassuring during Marvin's check-up answering all my questions and providing useful reference material. Marvin and I are very happy we have the team as our vet and so close by - it's obvious the love they have for animals and their welfare is priority.

Not only have they managed to save our precious cats' lives twice, they have empowered us to become better and more knowledgeable pet owners. We first discovered Concord Veterinary Hospital when we adopted our two rescue kitties, Wayne and Craig. We liked that they were an accredited cat friendly vet and appreciated their commitment to rescue cats. But it’s our cocker spaniel Lily that brings us back. Lily LOVES Dr. Karen! The two have developed a lovely bond and it’s comforting to know she is in good hands and well looked after. A tad far for us coming from Sydney Central, the new M4 tunnel practically drops us at their doorstep. Caring staff and reasonable prices. Always a fun visit.

Beware this place charges the highest consultation fee out of any vet in Sydney. Their new vet is inexperienced and has no idea what she's doing, I feel sorry for her that she is not being given more training and expected to cope on her own. ( I will not name any names). My dog is still suffering from a wound and infection after a simple blood test. I was also spoken to very rudely by the owner and vet David Hughes. I'm never taking any of my pets back to this place again! Sadly another vet practice that has become all about the $$MONEY$$.

We adopted two beautiful big dogs about 6 months ago and we have been regulars at the Concord Veterinary Hospital since. The nurses have been so welcoming to our somewhat scared and reactive dogs. Showing them with love from the moment they come to visit. The Vets have also been fantastic helping us battle some chronic infections. Special shout outs have to go to Dr Karen and Dr Alicia who have been amazing is diagnosing our beautiful dog. Dr Karen has been managing the ongoing treatment and the dogs love coming to see her and so do we!

We take all of our three elderly dogs here and the care provided is exceptional. They have a spring in their step as we enter and are looking forward to their treat from the vet. Our little dog Tigger also had to stay in hospital there recently when I was away as he was very ill. I had complete peace of mind that he was getting all of the care and attention he needed. And when we went back afterwards for a visit he was very happily saying hellp to everyone which tells me he was loved and cared for.

Great service, very friendly and efficient. They run by walk ins only, which suited us at the time. Our cat was okay to wait and have a look at the fishes in the tank and fellow patients coming through. We only waited maybe 15-20mins for a standard check up + vax around midday. The vet Dr Ran Duan was amazing and thoroughly explained everything, especially keeping in mind that this is our first cat so I had a lot of worries and she had all the answers as well as useful advice. Thanks very much.

I have been taking my cats here since 1993 - 24 years and counting! And although they have changed ownership throughout the decades, I have found that the Vets at Concord Vet have always provided the best care for my cats. In tune with their needs, gentle, intelligent and always understanding by providing the best care possible. I moved from the area over 10 years ago and still travel to this clinic for their service. Highly recommend, even if you're out of the area.

Concord Vets are the best vets in Sydney. Each time we go there with our beautiful cats , the vets and staff are so caring and knowledgeable and I know our fur babies are always in good hands. We had such a bad experience years ago with another vet when we lost our 18 year old cat. I wish I knew about Concord Vet back then. Concord Vet was recommended to us by the Cat Protection Society when we found our new cats. The vets and staff are all just beautiful, amazing people.

Such amazing service! I had an amazing time visiting this establishment and the nurse that attended to us (Tisha) treated us with such kindness and kept my babies well looked after from the minute we stepped into the building and throughout till the end of our visit. Would definitely recommend any pet owners to this fine business as our lovely animals will be treated with the utmost kindness and respect by the administration, nurses and veterinary specialists!

Dr Karen, Dr David and the team are absolutely incredible!!! The practice have an amazing family-based approach to animals and have gone above and beyond for our loving elderly dog's care. They were able to facilitate and help implement realistic goals to keep our fur baby happy every step of the way. Hands down one of the best vets we have come across in 12 years and they are a full 100% dedicated to the love of all animals. We can't thank them enough! :)

service is okay but it is a disaster for people who do not live close enough as they don’t take appointment. Long hours wait . first time waited one hour did not get it and came back again next day in the early morning and told have to wait another two hours. I am not going to let my pet in the cat bag for two hours. It was the same situation for last time visit. will go to other Vet who takes appointments and really look after pets when they are in need

We have been here for 2 years while staying at Rhodes. The staff, nurses and vet have always acted professional and took good care of our cat. Mostly routine check ups, vaccinations and minor health issues. We recently tried the cat boarding and although we didn’t see her boarding place, our cat comes out happy and not as nervous compare to other cat boarding facilities. They must have done something right. Thank you for taking good care of our cat!

Wonderful vet service, excellent care for our kitties. Elderly mum's shy nervous ginger made to feel calm and well behaved during her annual checkup this week. Have used this business for many years and over the years have adopted kitties from there, well prepared by Cat Protection Society of NSW by having already been desexed, vaccinated & healthy. Best way to adopt a rescue kitty needing a furrever home, with discounted aftercare as well.

I cannot speak highly enough about the staff and the hospital especially Dr.David who has always taken the time out to explain and lighten the mood at a stressful time. I cannot express how grateful I am of the entire team at CVH. Special mention for Vet Karen! She has gone above in beyond for my puppy Luna who had major complications after a bad spraying operation at another vet hospital. We trusted her to reopen her incision and clean it up. They are good vets but I really wish they had a proper appointment system instead of walk ins. This is a busy clinic and wait times are often 45 mins to 1 hour. Many times the estimate is not given and you are told to wait in the car until we receive a phone call. During peak covid they may have found this method useful but now it is frustrating. Between work and children it can be difficult not knowing wait times in advance.

Xena is a regular visitor to the boarding facilities here. I have high standards and the team at Concord Veterinary Hospital always meet and exceed my expectations. They are caring and proactive, and take the time to know Xena’s likes, dislikes, needs and individual personality. Really pleasant environment. Staff at desk were all polite and happy to be of assistance. The vet I had to see my cat was absolutely great! My animals (and there have been quite a few!) have all attended this clinic over the last 20 years. Professional, friendly, caring - but not only that and most importantly - the staff at this clinic are competent and know their stuff. I work in the health industry and if I could find a GP as knowledgeable and as good as this establishment, I'd be in business!! I cannot recommend this business more highly.

Amazing care and passion from the entire team at CVH. Every vet and let's not forget the valuable vet nurses are so caring and understanding. They have really invested in good equipment and able to do some testing onsite as well as a newly upgraded operating theatre. Good value for money too, which is why we started going there - but now it's not about that at all and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

The vets here are all extremely knowledgable and helpful, and they seem to genuinely care about the welfare of your pet which is important. I have been bringing my dog here for a while now and they always stay consistent in the way they interact with pets and owners. They have been extremely helpful when my dog has been very ill and even have overnight accomodation for sick dogs.

All the staff are caring, empathetic and genuine. They are knowledgeable, experienced and have a wide range of skills. I have been taking my animals to this vet since 1988. I've been to three different premises and three different owners. Throughout the years they have looked after 5 cats, 1 dog, 2 rabbits and 1 guinea pig. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else.

Passionate and dedicated staff who take the time to fully inform and involve you in treatment and care, and who evidently have thorough knowledge and competence in their work. They have been so caring with my pups, and also during their interactions with me. They came highly recommended to me, and I wouldn't hesitate to extend that recommendation to others.

We've been taking all our animals to Concord Veterinary Hospital for as long as I can remember. We have built a great relationship with all the staff and it's reassuring to see familiar faces whenever we visit. All the vets are extremely skillful and caring. The nurses are all wonderful and take great care of our cats whenever they stay there for boarding.

Owning a dog with anxiety and trust issues it was very hard to find a veterinary that we knew would take great care of our dogs. The nurses are lovely and comforting towards my anxious dog, always making sure he's ok. The visits are pricey but no one ever said owning pets was going to be cheap especially if you want the best care! Would 10/10 recommend.

Amazing vets and nurses who have an enormous wealth of knowledge and skills. The staff really care about their patients and always work to find the best possible solution for you and your pet. My kitty is afraid of humans but I know every time we visit she is relaxed and handled well because the staff listen and respond to each patient individually!

Wow. I only came here by chance as my pooch had a back injury. They are so so lovely and explain everything in simple terms. You can tell they really respect our furry friends. We received a beautiful hand written thank you card in the mail which I thought was the nicest thing ever. Definitely don’t get that service from our current vet. Thank you!

Dr Georgia is a wonderful vet who you can tell has a strong love and passion for animals. Really appreciate the way she had handled my cat and treated him with great care. Awesome vet! The practice is really welcoming and the team are fabulous. When you have a puppy everyone has an opinion of what you should be doing, and these guys were supportive and took a holistic approach. We also got a great puppy information pack which explains everything on what to give your puppy and when. made it so simple!

Cannot recommend Concord Veterinary Hospital enough, both with regular check-ups and emergencies. They always go above and beyond providing personalised and quality service. My puppy recently broke his leg and throughout the whole experience were available to take calls and answer any questions we had about the recovery process.

It can be stressful bringing your sick pet to the vet. All the staff members at concord vet are so friendly and helpful. They are always smiling, take their time to explain clearly all the procedures. I don't live close by but I always choose them as their customer service and they kindness with all animals are exceptional.

Our "family" vet from day one, our Italian Greyhounds Francine and Bianca are always happy to visit the Vet as Karen loves them and takes great care of both my girls. Karen is such a lovely vet who makes my anxious dog (Kelpie/German Shepherd X) relax and have treatment for his skin and stomach problems. She even lies down on the floor with him so that he feels she is not a threat. Karen genuinely LOVES animals and makes my dog (and my family) feel special and cared for. Thanks Karen.

They forced me to keep my 10 weeks old kitten in the cage when she’s quietly sleeping on my laps. While someone else dog can stay outside of the cage without a leash. I’m very upset with this unfair treatment towards cats only. I understand that for the pet’s own safety they should stay in the cage but why only cats?

Ive been to other vets around in sydney and service was good but Concord vet is beyond exceptional! The staff were friendly especially Rebecca, I bought my cat in and within a short time he was seen. To top it off I received a welcome letter in the mail I would definitely recommend this Vet to friends and family.

David has been looking after our cats for years. David has nothing but their best interests at heart and has an excellent bedside manner with both his patients and their anxious owners. Great Vets, I have been going there with my six cats and my daughters two for over five years now. When my daughter found a stray kitten and it had hookworms really bad and nearly died, Rebecca stayed with her and pulled her through. Their dedication to the animals put in their care is amazing.

Amazing Vet! When I brought in my very sick kitten they gave her so much special care she got through the worst of it and I got her back. These guys do so much for the community with Cat Protection Society and Mini Kitty Community.Our pets are so lucky to have such caring nurses and doctors.

My parents and I were fairly nervous going into the vet for the first time with our cat just about a year ago and I was made to feel that the vet nurses and staff there were all amazing to talk to and helped my parents and I understand what would be happening.

It is excellent having a walk in vet practice. My cat was feeling unwell, and I could walk in first thing the next morning without needing an appointment. I have seen multiple vets at this practice, and they've all been fantastic. I would definitely recommend.

Saw Dr Ran today for my puppy's first vaccination. Dr Ran was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions. She remained calm even though Frankie was jumping all over the place like a mad dog. I am so happy my friend recommended me to this vet!

Very nice place extremely well mannered vet he took care of my golden retriever and did it all at an affordable price. If you have to choose one vet please pick this one you will not regret it. Dr Hughes was very kind and took care of everything.

This is a great vet clinic. Our dogs love visiting Dr Karen and the nurses. We always get lots of attention and never have to wait long during our visits. They provide good notes for our pet insurance claims every time.

Concord Veterinary Hptal have fantastic vets and nurses, they all have a genuine love and care for all animals. Alex took excellent care of Rocky when he was unwell. Highly recommended, great service, and great staff.
