NEVER AGAIN. We heard and read horror stories about Conn's being a "Con", and although we have credit accounts with other retailers, including Sears, Conn's had some pretty good deals. We decided to check it out anyway. The Google reviews painted a picture of this particular Conn's as being a store that was focused on customer service. Shopping there was an enjoyable experience, the staff at the time were helpful and the overall purchase experience was no issue at all. We bought an LG fridge and freezer side by side. The reviews for this particular unit were hit or miss. The sale price was very reasonable and the staff reassured us about Conn's commitment to customer service after the sale, their warranties, and the peace of mind that came with that. So we trusted them. Several months less than a year later, our LG stopped freezing food and stopped refrigerating food- this past Saturday to be exact. We came home to find ice cream melted, frozen meat thawed out, and I checked with a thermometer to discover that both the fridge and freezer sides were holding food at near 50 degrees. With teens in the house, this was unacceptable. We called Conn's, and we were told to call their service department. We did, and we were told it would be 24 to 48 hours before anyone got back to us. The weekend went by with us scrambling to buy bags of ice by the tens to fill up eight large coolers to try to preserve what could be kept in ice from the fridge and the new groceries we had to buy without a fridge or freezer to keep them. It has been quite a bit of eating out. There was a nasty storm that hit, and we hunkered down through the end of the weekend and into Monday. We finally got our call from the service tech. He said he wasn't going to drive three hours to our house to service or check our appliance. We called Conn's back. That got us nowhere, so we made the drive out there to the store. One of the staff members offered to email a form to someone that would request a Visa card with $250 on it to reimburse us for lost perishables, but we would still have to call service. No management staff stepped in to make things right. The staff member looked over our warranty paperwork and confirmed that we could get a replacement unit. That lifted our spirits somewhat. Then came today. I called Conn's again, and there has been a back and forth with calling them and being directed to different people. We were promised that our case would be referred to supervisors. That hasn't happened. We are sitting here right now stressing out because we are being swept under the bus. We were worried about how we would be treated when it came to possible issues with this fridge and we are being treated exactly like we feared we would be treated. What should have happened is Conn's should have treated this like an emergency, and replaced our fridge with a different brand or unit, allowing us to pay for it like we would anything else. We were told they would credit us what we have already paid toward a different brand of fridge.. in which case I would most definitely go with what I know has great reliability, a Kenmore or Whirlpool model. The problem is, that replacement fridge should have been in this house and the LG unit removed no later than Monday. That's what would have happened if it were me responsible for making sure my clients were taken care of. Conn's has lost our business. And anyone else considering going there, I would advise you to stay away. We were better off using our Sears credit account. We have purchased from Sears many times in the past, and my grandmother and relatives use Sears frequently, and have always had excellent customer service. I expected poor service from Conn's, but I hoped that maybe I was wrong about the company, considering these nearly four star stellar reviews on Google. Sometimes you just have to go with what you know, and follow your gut. Yes, the buying experience was awesome. The warranty experience and service experience after the sale, is far below poor. In fact, it's outright shamefully despicable.
I have had a nightmare of a time getting a broken reclining loveseat replaced. Two days after the furniture was delivered the motor that reclines the unit stopped working. I purchased the extended warranty, and I went through all the hoops to file a claim, as well as let the store know the situation. It has been over three weeks, and no one ever responded to my claim, nor has anyone repaired or replaced the furniture. The first time I went in to talk with a manager about two weeks ago I was brushed off and told he was busy and I would have to come back another time. I came back the next day when my sale representative, Brandon was working and explained the situation. Brandon asked Jasmine the assistant manager to help me, and she did send emails inquiring about the claim. Another week went by and no response. I contacted Brandon again and told him I want the unit replaced asap. The loveseat has been in the recline position for three weeks, and I have not received any communication as to when it will be repaired or replaced. This morning I finally got an email from a company called Fast Furniture Repair, they told me the service date would be 3/7/2019, so much for Fast Furniture repair. The whole experience has been frustrating, and I feel I am being treated very poorly as a customer. As of right now, I would never recommend Conn's Home Plus. If they rectify the situation expediently and replace my loveseat by Monday, I would be willing to change my review to reflect their efforts. But, as of today, I am incredibly disappointed in my purchase and dealings from Conn's. *UPDATE* I spoke with my sales rep Brandon from the South Blvd location on Saturday, Feb 23rd over the phone. I told him I am tired of nothing being done, and if he wasn't going to help me, then I need to speak with his manager because Brandon keeps telling me he is going to speak with the manager and get this settled, but no action has been taken. Brandon had the audacity to say to me "This stuff always blows back on me." As if he is the victim in this situation. I demanded the reclining loveseat be replaced ASAP - not repaired - because this has been the most unprofessional customer service I have ever experienced. On Feb 25 the company replied to my review stating this matter was serious, and they would be contacting me. It is now Feb 27th, and I have not heard from them to "discuss my concerns." My next step is contacting the Better Business Bureau of Southern Piedmont and Western N.C., Charlotte office, to file a formal complaint. People beware if my experience can teach you anything you pay (a lot) for what you don't get. The extended warranty is a joke, and expensive. The claim was submitted for almost three weeks before they responded, filed the claim Feb 7th initially. The customer service at Conn's has been unresponsive and have just tried to appease me with empty promises to get me out of the store or off the phone, so they did not have to deal with me. Conn's has ignored the issue and has never once taken an interest in replacing the furniture (which broke two days after delivery). A reputable business would expedite the replacement of manufacture defects, and make the customer happy. Is the strategy of Brandon, and his management team making the customer so frustrated they give up? If so, I can only assume, this is because they don't want to deal with the issue any longer. Please take this cautionary tale to heart - do not give this company your patronage.
In October 2019, I visited the Conn’s appliance store in Pineville Pavillion store on S. Blvd in Charlotte, NC.Brandon was my salesperson who seemed fairly nice, however he wasn’t forthcoming with information. My husband and I had to keep asking him questions to get information out of him. We were approved for $3500 credit.. A little background about myself. My husband and I had newly purchased a home and closed in September 2019. I have been in the finance industry for over 25 years. When he said I was approved for $3500, I was extremely careful to keep the purchase under the $3500. I saw a sectional which was priced at 2299.00, I thought this was a little pricey for the chair, however it was huge and comfortable. I also purchased a TV which was around $850 and then a TV mount which was $199. I was just under what I was approved for. When I looked at the official receipt when it was emailed to me, I noticed that instead of charging me $2299 price that I saw on the floor, they charged me $2599 for the sectional. Keep in mind every time I would add a product, I would confirm with Brandon where we were as far as the amount and we both agreed. I said to him, we still have enough to get the TV mount and still put us under the $3500, he confirmed yes. I called the store and advised there were a couple of things I did not agree to on my receipt.Brandon had added insurance without my permission. In addition, the amount of the chair was $2299 and not $2599. I told them this was the amount on the floor. I would never pay $2600 for the chair I received. Never! The manager said oh, the chair was on sale for 2299 and went off and is now 2599. I asked if they forgot to remove the sign and he said we could have. I thought this was unacceptable and demanded I get the price I saw on the floor. He refused to give me the price, so I ended up writing the better business bureau. They were no help at all! I was taken advantage of by Brandon and was told He had been let go because of the very reason I was there. I will never ever shop at this low grade store again and will persuade any and everyone to shop at a more reputable and better store!
The experience I had at this location 5 years ago compared to the experience I had 3 weeks ago we’re two totally different experiences. Five years ago, I was able to come to this location, shop for my new washer and dryer I wanted without any pressure from any salesperson or being overwhelmed with every sales person business cards. That wasn’t the case for my visit 3 weeks ago. I get it. Times have changed and the salespersons need their commission. I felt like I was being circled every few 10 minutes by some salesperson asking me if I needed assistance. At first, I thought ok, they want to make sure I am taken care of but after the 7-8 person, I was over it. I am the type of consumer who does my research before going into the store, watch prior demo videos and read product reviews for appliances that I want to purchase. I also make my purchases online and don’t do any options for financing. I probably won’t go back to this location as I didn’t like the whole being circled my multiple salespersons. I left there were over 8 business cards which I later disregarded. Please allow consumers to shop at their leisure and if they do request assistance, assist them but if you have a consumer such as myself who walks through your door and goes directly to an item to see it in person, 1-2 salesperson asking if that consumer needs assistance and being told : NO should be quite enough. 7-8 salesperson approaching one customer very 10 -12 minutes is quite excessive and can disrupt the consumers overall shopping experience. Please try to correct this behavior and business practice. Overall the store was clean and they had a huge variety of appliances, furniture and electronics. Hence the four star rating. I eventually ordered what I needed online at Conn’s Home Plus but I won’t go back to this location in the near future to shop. Response To Owner: Thank you for your prompt response regarding this matter. I added an additional star to my review for taking the time to respond and consider my recommendation..
Should have read the reviews before purchasing. This was my first purchase from Conn”s and wasn’t familiar with the business so thought I would give them a try. So I purchased a bedroom set, thought it was the most beautiful set that I had seen and was tired of looking for one. Because I don’t live in the area of the store, I was told that I would have to pick it up. Paid someone to pick it up from the warehouse only to get it home to notice there was damage to the footboard. Should have known that the long wait time and me being the only one there to pick up was a bad sign. Didn’t get to set it up until about a week later, only to discover the damages. Called the store and she informed me of the 7 day return policy and asked was it checked before I left the warehouse, my response was “no”. I also let her know that I waited almost 40 mins before their guys brought it out and loaded it. I was told to bring it to the store it would be replaced. I informed her that I had no way of getting it there and they don’t do deliveries or pickups where I live so that wasn’t possible. My other option would be to use the warranty that I purchased because it was out of the 7 days. Well, after going through all the claims, pictures, phone calls, one of the workers coming out and saying that it did look like damage from falling off the racks and he also took pictures and escalated the claim. I’m still stuck with a brand new bedroom set with a damaged foot board.
Terrible customer service!!! I NEVER write reviews, but felt this experience certainly warranted one. I drove 1.5 hours to a store in NC to purchase a table that I needed right away. I went to the warehouse to collect my items (table and four chairs), and commuted back to my home (another 1.5 hours) only to find that the table was damaged, glue was all over the surface. After attempting to remove the glue it was clear that further tampering would only worsen the situation and damage the table even more. I immediately contacted the warehouse and was told that management had left for the evening and I would need to call back the following day to have my issue addressed. I contacted the warehouse the following day and the representative hung up on me. Finally, I was referred to the sales rep from whom I purchased the table. He stated that the issue was my problem because I failed to open three massive boxes and individually inspect each item before departing the warehouse. Essentially his comments indicated that I failed to do their job, apparently they prefer to transfer the responsibility of quality control to the consumer. I would not recommend this store to anyone! YOUR SATISFACTION IS NOT THERE CONCERN ONCE THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY. I have a useless dinning set sitting in my garage that I paid close to $1,100 for and my problem still has not been resolved. No returned phone calls, nothing at all.
We came in preapproved and were told it would only take about 45 minutes or so to get everything together, so we went to eat and came back about an hour later. Well we came back and 2 hours later we are just now leaving. I feel like we were lied to, our monthly price was well over what were initially told, and nobody seemed to care very much. We had another loan that was almost paid off, $650 left, and they had to roll it into our new one, so they added even more interest on to something that was almost paid off, so our $650 balance turned into $720. Which made our new monthly payment go from $110 to over $130. None of this was told to us before, and I don’t think there is any reason why paperwork should take 3+ hours for a computer and a tv. There was one manager, I think his name was Michael, and he seemed helpful and even tried to talk to our kids, and gave them some crayons, because obviously they were getting restless after waiting for so long. So I’m at least glad he was there to try and help, but the rest of the employees left something to be desired. This is the 2nd time we have used conns, the first time was also a horrible experience , but we decided to give them another chance and went to a different location, but apparently this is common practice there. Next time we will just go to Best Buy!
am incredibly in shock and dissatisfied with this store. I went to thelocation at 9567 South Blvd about six months ago just to look at some new furniture. I repeatedly told the salespeople that I was not going to buy that day but they persisted. I have worked for commission before so I understand the importance of making sales. The salesman then tells me that he will collect a little information to see if I qualify for FINANCING. They were having a promotion so I thought I would at least see. He told me I qualified for a few thousand dollars, again for financing. Around October I received a letter in the mail-after numerous calls-that I assumed was more advertising and threw it in a pile. After opening it about two months later I find out that a credit card has been opened in my name! I never signed an application so I assume that the salespeople did this. I am absolutely disgusted. I have already closed the account but now Conn's will never receive a penny of my money and I will be telling anyone who asks that they have shady shady business going on at this location. Congratulations you were so desperate for a small commission you have missed out on any business from someone forever.
First, allow me to say I appreciate a store like Conn's that allows you to open a line of credit to purchase items instead of going through a store like Best Buy. Unfortunately, the level of customer service from the store to their customer service group is mediocre at best. I'm not going into details on why I feel this way. I will warn anyone reading this post. Please read the fine print. Ensure you understand what you're signing up for. If the store offers you a promotion, make sure your item qualifies for it. Remember, the devil is in the details. Be sure to get the names of people you are working with just in case you have a problem. Don't count on the store or customer service to help you resolve your problem. You will need to escalate your concern to upper management and still might have a problem there as well. Thank you Conn's for the poor customer experience. Personally, I will never recommend any of my family or friends to do business with you.
Conn’s on South Blvd is the worst store you can ever deal with. If I can give a 0 rating I’d. save yourself some headache and cheap low quality open box appliance they sell over there. I bought a LG microwave end of May 2022 and it stopped working in November 2022 . From the managers, technicians and customer service reps are the most horrible people I ever dealt with in my whole life. My $400+ I spent on a microwave went in vain and the store managers run me down just to print a receipt of the purchase. LG couldn’t refund it because apparently Conn’s sold me an open box item from 2018 that I bought in 2022. Shame on Conn’s for stealing from hard working consumers!!! One thing I’ll makesure everyone I know and deal with; NEVER EVER shops at Conn’s. Anyone reading this, save your self headache and low quality appliance and shop at Home Depot or Lowe’s!!!!!!!!
I'm revising my review of the company due to several issurs once the paperwork was received. All signs in the store say no interest, yet I was charged over $1,000. Service plans and insurance was added as well and these were never mentioned to me. I complained so the contract was rewritten to have the finance charges and service plans removed. Once I received the contract yet again there are still service plans and interest and now the delivery is no longer free. To top it off when the delivery was made I was told they could not take away the old items as my sales person had promised. I really like the products available and had planned to go back for more but not so sure now. Paperwork DOES NOT reflect what I was told by either sales or management. Will be calling the ho.e office to cancel my contract. VERY DISAPPOINTED in this company!
I went to Conn's to purchase new appliances a week ago. I was hesitant initially to go but had been referred by a family member. The staff was courteous when I came in. I was instantly made to feel at home. They had many options and the salesperson was knowledgeable about the products. He gave me ample time to search options and did not rush me or pressure me. My washer and dryer were delivered THE NEXT DAY on a Sunday!!! The delivery men were likewise courteous and knowledgeable. The washer and dryer met my needs and was exactly what I wanted, although the salesman helped me to decide on it... I washed clothes for four days straight. You would have thought Christmas came early for me! From purchase to installation, I had a great experience with Conn's Home Plus and would recommend them for home purchases.
If I could choose zero stars, I would. Bought a piece of furniture. Before my card was ran for purchase, I was never informed that I would have to pick up furniture from different location or that item was not refundable. Only paperwork I was handed AFTER my card was ran was paid invoice, pick up order form, and MapQuest directions to their warehouse. Paid invoice says "return policy attached". it was not. Warehouse employee told me if any issues for return to contact the store. Called both store and customer service who only responded that it was their policy not to accept returns. None of this information was provided, even on the invoice, at the time of purchase. Furniture does not match existing set and needs to be returned or at least store credited. Dishonesty by omission is still dishonesty.
I will never patronize this company again. Bought a recliner in September 2021 and 3 months later it looks like we've had it for years. There's discoloration on the head and arm rests, but I wasn't too concerned because we had a warranty. Well, I was wrong! There has been so much miscommunication it's ridiculous. At first the warranty company said they could fix it then they came back and said no but they would provide us with a "store credit", that has an expiration date by the way. Usually a store credit can be used to purchase whatever you want but not in this case; the credit can only be used towards a recliner, so essentially it's an exchange. Given that Conns furniture is typically overpriced, we're going to have to pay additional money to get a new chair. The warranty policy is a joke.
Do not buy their furniture!!! It was an ok experience at the store buying a couch. But it is an absolute disaster to resolve the issues when the mechanism fails and you can't return, exchange or reimburse the purchase! After the technician showed up, they said it will take over 2 months to get another part and reinstall. Well...you can't sit on a broken couch, because in 2 months it will break even more... They advised me to submit an "official" complaint and go through the court....well the court will not look into a small value complaint.... So, simply, Do Not!!!! Buy their furniture!!! The worst customer service experience ever! They posted the note to call them so they will help to resolve. Well, they didn't. Again...DO NOT BUY THEIR FURNITURE!!!
I applied online -easy! Approved! Steve A. Called invited me to the store after I explained my need for a computer and the specific type I wanted. When I arrived in the store everything was spacious enough to not feel overwhelmed. The workers all greeted me and Steve walked up introduced himself and wasted no time showing me what options he picked out before I arrived (even better because I was short on time). The process was easy, he explained everything about the credit and although he tried to suggest things I had to say no and he gave no pressure about moving on or assisting I keep shopping. I would recommend this store to my friends and family. The prices were fair market and they had some really nice stuff.
DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM CONN'S!!! Their service department in Charlotte NC is horrible!!!!!! I've been waiting almost a MONTH for them to repair a refrigerator under WARRANTY!! They don't return calls and don't show up when they say. Their Technician initially mis-diagnosed the problem and ordered the wrong part but they never called me to let me know. I had to call them to find this out! Then they took several days to send another Technician. I was told that the additional parts would be expedited, but a week later my fridge has still not been repaired!! I've asked to speak to a Supervisor several times and have been lied to saying one would call me back. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM CONN'S!!
Bought a beautiful marble top table and was assured by the sales rep that it would not stain since it was real marble and that I would not need to purchase a warranty for it after 10 days of usage cup stains started appearing on my table after just 10 days and it was hardly being used. I contacted the store manager and she said there was nothing she can do since I had not purchased the extended warranty even though the table does have a warranty which of course does not cover anything. So I contacted there corporate office it's been 20 days and I have left them multiple voicemails and have yet to hear back from them. Conn's does not care about there customers and there products are junk.
Highly recommend - especially Craig M.! Had ordered an LG washer/dryer from Home Depot that was delayed the day of scheduled delivery FIVE different times, spent hours on hold with customer service, etc. and they still couldn’t guarantee the item would be shipped. Noticed the same set available for same day pick-up at Conns, called and spoke to Craig (who was so kind and helpful!) and he confirmed both of the items I wanted were in stock available for same day pickup. Ordered and picked up (from the Charlotte warehouse - everyone there was also so pleasant!) the items within a few hours of my first call to Conns. Will absolutely be going here for my next appliance need!
My husband and I were searching for a new mattress. We made our selection and our salesperson was Steve Ajuah. Steve was extremely polite, professional, courteous and accommodating. He provided us with valuable information and very patient in answering all of our questions. We were very pleased with the outcome of the sale and with Steve. Two years ago, we purchased an LG front loading washer and dryer set. We haven’t experienced any problems with the set. It’s still working great. If you’re searching for furniture or appliances, you can’t beat Conn’s. Great staff and great merchandise! Thank You Steve for all of your help and your kindness.
My husband and I are still waiting for our issues to be resolved, we ordered 2 day beds on November 7th and they were delivered the very next day which was great. The delivery team put the beds together which started the issue, the color did not match. We have been on the phone and to the store almost twice a week since, trying to get this corrected. We have requested to return the beds, so we have them ready to be picked up and nobody has called, emailed, texted or anything. My patience is wearing very thin now. It's been over a month since this has happened with no resolution yet. Be mindful what you order..
The worst experience ever! I purchased a 65" TV from them. I was pressured into getting the "extended warranty" saying it was so easy to use! Well after about three months my blue tooth went out on my TV. I called and arranged for a repair tech. That was six months ago. Last night at 9:30 pm I got the first call from a tech who said that they would help me out. I informed him that no one would be home today. Well guess what? They showed up and I got an email saying no one was home. I scheduled this call six months ago!!! I usually don't blast companies like this but this has gotten to be so insanely ridiculous!!!
Had a great experience with the staff. Everything with smooth and they were very helpful. On the other hand.. The call center for customer service is a joke. I don't think you have to any type of degree to work for them. They have two call centers. One is in North Carolina and the other one is in Texas and both are staffed with "winners" as long and you're not planning on having the matter resolved or receiving anything helpful you've called the right place. I spent two hours being lied two and passed off to someone else. I hope they fire everyone. They're the reason I created a Yelp account lol
I would give them 0 stars if I could. Please be aware of this store. They are set up for people that has bad credit who may not be able to get credit elsewhere. They are over priced and promise to price match when they have no intentions of ever doing so, so if you buy something from them know that whatever the over priced amount you are given is what you will pay. Customer service is awful & the cooperate office is no better. They are located in Texas, I didn't expect any better from them. Run FOREST run! You will do better at rent a center if it's a credit issue that has you there.
When you drop in to look at a refrigerator and 6 hours and two days later you spend $X000. Something went very right. I have been shopping for my new house for weeks in every store in Charlotte. I am a do not bother me kind of person! Oh My I ended up shopping with Steve for hours- such a delightful person, knowledgeable about everything in the store or “he will get it”. I actually enjoyed my experience and changed my mind about furniture after the education on different items.....Go to Conns-they know their stuff and will help you purchase the correct furniture for your needs!
My sales associate told me all my things would be put together and installed. The left my computer in my 100 degree garage along with a desk. I was told when I got home the computer wold be ready to go. None of this was true. After a conversation with the store GM Chris Wilson. Who was very rude offering no help except to say we want put your computer desk together with 345 parts and they do not accept returns on furniture. I called corporate. Still no help. Please stay away from this place. Poor customer service. Also I had to pay best buy 119 dollars to in stall my computer.
This company has managed to make me so aggravated that I'm leaving each store in Charlotte a 1 star review, after repeating asking to not call me. They have called my work # to try and sell product, and also my cell multiple times. I had one guy blame me, like how is that even possible. Corporate america at its finest. Also stated they would contact me about 1 star review for other location. Guess what, that is the only time they listened. They haven't called back about that, but have called twice since to sell more product.
Not professional at all. Employees have their kids with them. Did not give all the details that should have been told like what the payment would be and when I did find out and wanted to back out employee acted like he wanted nothing to do with me. My card was charged today and was not told this was going to happen now I have to go through a whole process to get my money back. Talked about other clients accounts in front of customers, I will never do busses with this store more recommend Anyone I know to go there.
Great Sales Experience. Not so great with repair service. 5 phone calls, hang ups, no response, Chat was only for electronics. Called the store, manager tried to find a better number for me. No luck. They promise that for any reason, they will service the furniture if you purchase the insurance. Good luck getting a sofa/chair repaired/reupholstered. So, fair is fair. Finally reached someone. I'll report back once the claim is filed and repairs are made.
Salesperson was nice. Making me drive 20 minutes further to pick up the item was annoying. Salesman made it sound like it was around the block, but with traffic it took over 20 minutes further, plus waiting for another 15 minutes for them to bring it out. If I would have known this I wouldn't have made a purchase. Other places will deliver for free if it's not in stock, not making the customer pick it up from the warehouse. Will not be going back there.
Couldn’t have asked for better experience at Conn’s! The first night I didn’t arrive until 7:30(Sunday) and they closed at 8:00. Not once was I rushed because they were closing and also it ended up being 9:00 when I did leave. The following day I went back, made the purchase and couldn’t have been more pleased with the customer service they provided to me! If you are considering making a purchase I highly suggest you go to Conn’s first!!!
bought 2300.00 sectional. sales associate guaranteed price adjustment within 30 days for any reason. a week later, price dropped 300. sales associate/manager did not make adjustment. blamed it on corporate. no call from manager, corporate or any other person who would be concerned with customer service and satisfaction. pushy sales tactics, excess paperwork, yes, buyers beware, i have been Conn-ed. i might have to get McGinty.
Just left Conn’s and I am so excited that Brandon my thoughtful and knowledgeable salesman was able to assist me with obtaining credit to make the purchases I needed to move into my new home. Closing me out was Jasmine the newly promoted Assistant Manager ensuring everything was correct and ready for delivery. It was quick and seamless! The team truly deserves Five Stars for my 5 Star is experience. Highly recommended!
I purchased a new washer, dryer, and refrigerator for my new home at this location tonight. Steve the sales associate that helped me and my wife was excellent. We never felt pressured to buy and walked out extremely impressed with the shopping experience. We were there until closing and Steve made sure our orders were placed completely without rushing due to the hour. Definitely earned a return customer!
I had good experience with sales person but overall terrible experience with the process of making a purchase. It took much longer then expected. I wanted to buy a comforter set. They had none in stock but encouraged me to buy and pick up at warehouse. I was told it would take 5 min. The process of the sake was crazy- so much info needed just to buy a comforter! Then the pic up at warehouse took 30 min!
If you do business with Conns it will be nothing but a mistake. It goes all the way from the employees that work in the store that tell you lies about their policy to the corporate level that has to value what their mindless employees promise. After corporate stands behind their word on me spending my money, I get treated like they no longer want to do business with me. This place is awful to me.
This is a very nice place to shop for your furniture and appliance needs. It is time consuming but they provide great sales and customer service care for their clients. Only one issue I see is that you get approved for a certain amount but it is my good for 30 days. If you made an additional purchase in the future, you must re-appy. Otherwise, quality merchandise and at reasonable pricing.
I was at Conns Plus this evening. My experience was excellent. The lady at the front desk greeted me with a smile. The young man name.Mr. Corey was excellent. His mannerisms, was great. We need. more young men like Corey. He greeted me with a hand shake , and a smile. He made everything went smooth. I encourage everyone who need some furniture stop by this place and ask for Mr Corey.
What a wonderful experience. How did I not know about this hidden jewel. The sales associate was super helpful without being over bearing. The ease of the transaction and they can deliver to you next day. The showroom floor is laid out very nicely and the selection is huge. This is where I’ll be buying any and all home furnishings, appliances, televisions from in the future!
Excellent customer service and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Huge selection in a well lit, inviting store. It was a breath of fresh air after we went shopping at the big box hardware stores for a new washer and dryer. The staff was very courteous and even made sure to call us to rectify a delivery delay before we even got home. I would highly recommend this place.
Purchased a sofa and loveseat July 2022...6 months in the sofa seam was coming apart and after 2 trips to my home, they sewed it tight...now a little over a year in, the loveseat threads are separating and they say the repair is not covered...this furniture will fall apart by the time I finish paying for it...certainly not suggesting anyone purchase from the Conn's.
They had a great selection of furniture and appliances - better than I had anticipated and they had top brands. We purchased an in wall, double oven and got a really good price on it - lower than I could find it anywhere else. Setting up financing on it was pretty easy also. The store manager was incredibly helpful as was it sales agent, Johnnie. We will be back!
Was hoping for a quick pickup of noise canceling over the ear head phones. They only had one manufacturer on display with listening options. Then in order to buy them I had to give them all my information, pay, wait and wait, then sign papers like I was buying a house, and then I got my Sony noise canceling headphones. What a process! Super bad taste in my mouth.
I had a great experience! All of the sales staff were super positive and fun to be around. At the end of my sale the assistant manager Craig came over to review my order, he found an error and fixed it right away. I appreciate the second look. Even though the wait was a little longer to fix the error, the staff was great. Will be purchasing again!
My elderly neighbor bought a refrigerator from Conn's. Tim and Mike delivered and installed it. They were both professional and courteous. Tim took time to talk a few minutes with the elderly lady and brightened her day. After having a negative experience elsewhere it was refreshing to receive such great service. Thanks guys!
Worked with Brandon. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. This is my new go to Home Furnishing store. They have everything. Store was very well laid out and not to overpowering, easy to chose. Everyone seemed so friendly and ready to help. You can’t go wrong with any of the staff I met. But I highly recommend Brandon.
Sales person Howard very pushing to get warranty on tv. When I got home 2 hours later the TV was cracked. They said could not take it back for exchange. Howard said warranty does not cover cracked TV. I just spent $1000 on TV that cannot be returned or exchanged and warranty not good. Very unprofessional service!!!
Sadly, a 1 star review. If only the salesman had been honest and told me they do not haul away my old furniture. I was told by the delivery company that salesmen promise this all the time and it's not true. Wish I they had an honest salesman. Would I recommend Conn's now? NO, and don't you get coned by them.
Brandon was awesome! I called the store and asked a few questions about a washer and dryer set. Brandon made it so easy for me to come in today to purchase a new washer and dryer. I believe when you great people like Brandon on the front line, you can’t go wrong! Brandon, Thank you sir for your hospitality!
Will never deal with them again. Our TV went out within 24 hrs. Our desk could not even be put together properly. Not to mention I have been battling with them for two months trying to pay my bill. Haven't received contract and dealing with this is exhausting!!!! I can see where they get their name from.
Milan was my sales associate… I was greeted immediately upon entering the store, told him what I wanted. He was knowledgeable about the Refrigerator I wanted.. he didn’t pressure me or follow me around the store.. but he was only a “wave” away… my entire experience was excellent from beginning to end!!
Well i went Saturday 7/6/19 bought tv & dryer was told it would be delivered to accommodate me & my husband work schedule after 5p. But that was a lie salesman will tell you anything, plus corporate was not any help also.probably will not buy from them again gave me a headache for 3 days …
I had a dent in my fridge and have been going back and forth for a month and nothing has been done. The hardware was not delivered with my microwave , they made me go pick it up in store and had guy come back out at a later date to install. Now I have notices I don’t have vent covers on my microwave
Sales associate-Jay and Manager-Steve at Conn’s were the best!! They took time with me and they went the extras mile to make sure that I received the best quality for my money. They didn’t try to oversell me. I bought a French door refrigerator, a washer and a dryer. I would definitely come back.
The first guy who helped me didn't know much and kept walking off all the time which was annoying because we had questions. The second rep. who helped saved the entire experience for me. He was very knowledgeable and worked with me to get everything I needed. I left a very satisfied customer
Love conns great customer service. I love the team work with the office on south blvd in Charlotte NC. They really explain everything to us and helped with keeping our payments low. Dipanshu Rattan thank you for waiting for me even though you were done for today. NOW THAT'S GREAT SERVICE!
My first experience here. Been great. Jada was awesome! And Darryl, the store manager, was a delight. Lots of furniture options here, financing available if needed. Clearance furniture many times, as I got. They held it almost a month until I could pick it up. Will definitely be back!
They were all very nice to my sister and myself they made sure she got everything she wanted and gave her discount too. They very responsible and courtesy and the place was very clean. The restroom was clean frash. My experience there was great. I would go back again and again.
The sales associate Bri was great! She made my shopping easy! She was patience, knowledgeable and honest! Very clean store even the bathroom! Love that they are open until 9:30pm. Bri was very detailed in making sure I understand everything! The manager Steve was nice as well!
Very unprofessional.. I did not feel comfortable with spending my hard earned money due to lack of communication and information, everything seem as though they were trying to get over on me. Customer service sucks they are very unprofessional I do not recommend conns at all
Horrible! Sales person had no idea on what they was doing. How does a company send you letter stating your pre-approve and get to store don't take invitation. Then come and say your not approved. Sad thing purchase through them before and paid account off! Just plain stupid!
My husband & I were greeted with a friendly hello, when we walked in, but never helped. I walked over to the front desk but no one asked uf they could help, but the representatives were laughing with each other. I think I will go to the Independence store with my business.
Great people giving great customer service. Jasmine and the staff helped us, waited on us and delayed their lunch break and time off to close our deal. We’ll definitely be returning for other merchandise. Thanks everyone for making our transaction pleasant and simple.
Yolanda was a true blessing to us with this being our first time in Conns we had no idea what to expect. We really appreciate her customer service and bright smile. It helped us to go with Conns and enjoy our buying experience. We will definitely be coming back!!
The best service I've received. Salesman Corey Forte was very knowledgeable which is definitely a plus for me. I purchased a king size bed and we're very satisfied. Conn's is definitely the store to go to when you need any furniture for home, office, and work.
Compared to the previous conns i visited this store is highly professional. The manager helped my husband and i complete our purchase by giving my two year old a toy, which delighted her to no end. Thank you crew for a great sense of professionalism.
Kevin was me Sales rep. He was very pleasant to deal with and took care of me through the sales process...making sure I was getting the exact items I was seeking to purchase. Overall great experience. Will be asking for Kevin my next visit to Conn’s
Excellent deals, financing terms and super knowledgeable salesman Milan Lebedinskii. He will always give you the best service, great conversation, and may even share an extra language or two with you. Visit him soon for all of your household needs.
The employee acknowledged me when I walked through the door. He showed me the different refrigerators. He told about the different financing available. Everything was easy and it did not too long with the approval and signatures on the tablet.
I was greeted right away within seconds of walking in, friendly environment made me feel very comfortable. Process took a little longer due to minor complications but they were very patient and I enjoyed the many laughs. Will return for sure
Was an pleasurable experience. Eric was our sales guy and he did an excellent job. He showed us everything we had asked for and made it happen. Greeting us as soon as we entered into the door. The best place to go for fixing up your home.
Had an amazing experience today buying appliances for a new home. My salesgirl, Fiorella, was AWESOME. I loved her. Great selection, everything was in stock, and it's being delivered for free (over $2k purchase) next week. I can't wait!
Mr Johnny and the staff on Sth Blvd were phenomenal. I was greeted when I entered the store. They gave me knowledgeable assistance, space to browse the store, and helped me close my sell. I will definitely be back for future purchases.
Great services. Highly recommend. Steve was my sales person. He was very nice and helpful. I came on a Saturday and I got my bed delivery that Sunday. They made sure that I got a fast delivery and exactly what I wanted! Great place!
This was a great experience. The whole time I was waiting for where's the catch and I'm sitting in the car with everything that I wanted and no catch. Everyone was so friendly and such a wide selection could not I've asked for more.
The sales associates were super nice and helpful. They did not try to pressure me into purchasing anything that I was not looking for and their prices are great. I will return when I am looking for anything else for my home.
The salesman Corey was great. We did have a small problem with the price of our furniture. It was marked down for one price but rang up as something different! After contacting the home office they made everything right.
No good customer service. Sales associate said a particular TV was not on sale. I brought his attention to the sale TV that was on display in the front of the store as you come in. I left and went to Best Buy.
I will never purchase anything from Conns again. It’s been over a month and I’m still waiting on my refund of $392.83. I’m being told that they don’t know when I will be able to get it. This is unacceptable.
Could not be happier with my experience. The sales staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to make sure I got what I came for. I wouldn't hesitate at all recommending to anyone.
Jay is the best. Professional & down to earth at the same time! Mr Kabat is your guy! Also the blonde manager & the other short manager were more than helpful. This location is a recommended go to!
My sales guy was new, but knowledgeable. He didn’t speak on anything he didn’t know and asked for help when needed. The entire staff was courteous! Danny gave us an amazing experience thank y’all!
Key was fantastic in helping with my purchase. She left out no detail and made sure I was getting the best deal for my money. I would recommend anyone to her services over at the South Blvd store.
Steve was a fantastic salesman. We were a little skeptical at first but our experience we had with him was awesome. We will definitely be coming back for more and we will be asking for Steve.
It was a quick and simple process! Happy that I came and they have exactly what I wanted. Brandon did a great job and made this experience very smooth and easy for me! I will be back!

We have been sitting here for almost an hour now just to pick up an iPad we had the screen repaired on. They are not busy but yet no one cares to even help.
The sales people were so kind and patient! Very helpful looking forward to making more purchases in the future. Thank u guys for the great service!
Horrible 3 days fighting with these people to deliver my furniture. They waste people time. They are no good and don’t know what they are doing.
