"Great shop that sells pretty much anything and everything, however parcel collection/customer service is not good"
"The worst service ever"
"DONT GET YOUR PARCEL’S DELIVERED HERE!! They demanded a collection code for an Evri parcel I was trying to collect"
"The only reason for the 1 star is because I can’t score lower"
"A exceptionally unique shop, from the outside appears to be a small back street ironmongers, its almost the selection of a small department for every day needs, tools, hardware, motor, gardening, kitchenware the list is continus"
Great shop that sells pretty much anything and everything, however parcel collection/customer service is not good. The shop requires a barcode to collect parcels, however when I explained that I had not received a barcode from the courier I was brushed off and told that I could not have the parcel unless I had a certain code. Really I needed help finding the code however I was constantly talked over or not listened to when I explained that I was having difficulty. I was eventually given the parcel as I was getting visibly frustrated, but was given a scolding for not having the right code ready. I will not be using coopers again to collect parcels if I am just treated like a nuisance. Such a shame as it is so close to home.
The worst service ever.... i arranged to collect a parcel and their system is obviously broken or down and he refused to give me my parcel even though i provided ID and my order number etc. I went back 4 times and he did not give it to me and would take it out, put it on the table to tease me and not give me my package. I contacted the company, they provided me with a the code and he said it wasn't the correct code. I went back 4 times. The guy is not helpful whatsoever. I suggest HUBBOX remove them as drop off point. The last time he was eating and when he was speaking he was spitting his food out at me. POOREST EXCUSE FOR. CUSTOMER SERVICE ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!
DONT GET YOUR PARCEL’S DELIVERED HERE!! They demanded a collection code for an Evri parcel I was trying to collect. I showed him the Evri email which had all relevant information on it, but no collection code. I explained that the email and tracking page was all the info I’d been given but this still wasn’t good enough for them so I showed them my order receipt with the actual brand that sent the package. I also showed him my ID which matched with the name on the parcel. Despite all of this, he still demanded to see a collection code which did not exist. Please don’t order parcels here as they will be held hostage!!!
The only reason for the 1 star is because I can’t score lower. the owner is absolutely horrible. He over charged me for my shopping (nearly double the correct amount) instead of apologising when I pointed it out to him he started shouting saying he will refund my money and I should come back if I still want the items bought. He said I can complain wherever I want stating that he owns the business. Stay away, but if you must go there make sure your items add up correctly or you can end up paying double the amount if you are not paying attention.
A exceptionally unique shop, from the outside appears to be a small back street ironmongers, its almost the selection of a small department for every day needs, tools, hardware, motor, gardening, kitchenware the list is continus. If you can't find it the helpful staff will, this shop is a real find and prices are keen ,eat your heart out B&Q.parking can be a challenge, but I park next door in the Co-op next.
An Aladdin's cave of everything for your household needs and more, if they don't have what you are looking for then it's not worth having. You could spend a few hours just looking around at all the wonderful stuff at prices to suit everybody's budget. Well worth a visit, and I bet you can't come out of there without buying something.
If you can't find it elsewhere, Coopers will have it! My colleagues laughed at me when I said it, but I was 100 right! Needed Christmas table covering for event at work, Coopers had it. Needed coffee cups in bulk, Coopers had it. Needed office Christmas decorations, Coopers had it!
Quality is compromised for price, but for any niche items "Cooper's Emporium" is the place to go. If you want a high quality item, go to a specialist shop, but if you need to get out of the proverbial quagmire, then Cooper's is the best place to go, they probably have it in stock !
Bought a lightbulb worked for two days now it's broken, since the change of ownership Coopers has gone downhill. It was never first quality but you could get a few bargains. Will not be going back here again. Will be using Screwfix and Savers as alternatives from now on.
Way to many things stuffed inside this shop you have to walk sideways down each ile, and way to expensive goods hanging from the ceiling on the pavement staff are not to friendly but I most say a few are helpful I would only go in there as a last resort
I remember this shop from when I was younger. It had so many things kids would want to buy. But now it is over expensive and the things u can purchase in the store you would be able to get cheaper 5 minutes up in the high street stores.
This is my local Coopers, lovely and friendly staff and trust me when l say this... they stock literally everything. You can have your key cut, buy postal stamps and they provide click and collect services as well
This place is like Aladin's cave. There is nothing that this place does not sell. It's great. Forget Amazon, its all about Coopers. This place is more reasonable and has everything you need all year round.
Outwardly a fairly routine shop, you might think. But inside it keeps on going... Many departments including household, tools, DIY, motoring, garden, and so on and so forth. Incredibly useful place to go.
Fantastic range of stuff — some of which you didn't know you needed. Quite expensive though. Very narrow aisles piled high with mostly flammable goods. Whatever happened to fire inspections?
My version of Aladin's cave! The most amazing array of goodies, from shortbread biscuits to neon tubes! Love this shop. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Love and hate this place. You go in to buy one item, But you end up leaving with two bags worth of shopping haha! They pretty much have everything
Great shop where you can find everything you need from food to hardware to toys and stationery lovely friendly helpful people too. .
Sell pretty much anything & everything. Some of the goods are a bit low end, however the prices reflect that.
